I have been working independently in manufacturing electric vehicles from quite a time, the market is still evolving in India for electric vehicles with an aim to reach a mark of around 90% electric vehicles running on road in proportion to total vehicles. A lot of advancements have been made regarding the same and i have compiled some of my observations in this presentation. Hope you like it and do discuss what you feel about the new evolving market in India.

Electric motorcycles and scooters are plug-in electric vehicles with two or three wheels that can be recharged from any external source of electricity, and the electricity is stored in a rechargeable battery, which provides power to one or more electric motors to attain movement. Electric motorcycles, as differentiated from scooters, do not have a step-through frame. The electricity generated from an external source helps in acceleration of the motorcycle. The speed of this cycle is limited and the electricity is generated using a solar panel. The generated electricity is stored using a battery and the locomotion and movement of the vehicle is hence propelled using a motor. The cycle need not be continuously fed with solar energy in order to gain the capacity to run. It gets its energy from the batteries where the energy is stored. Conventionally, these types of vehicles are hard to use with the help of just mechanical energy. The energy we get from human effort. But when energy is converted using solar energy and a battery, it becomes more easy and helpful in the propulsion of the motorcycle. The motorcycle, not using an engine, becomes an effective way of road transport as it causes no pollution. It is eco-friendly and it definitely reduces human effort.

We started with various kind of frictional forces which are projected to bicycle during the run. Then after we calculate approx motor power t which needed to drive the bicycle. We used BLDC motor as a hub drive and connect it in the front wheel of the bicycle. We use lithium-ion battery cells and by connecting them in series-parallel, we made a 36V, 13.2 Ah battery pack. We also connect BMS(Battery Management System) which protects the battery pack from over-charging and over-discharging kind of faults. Top speed of the bicycle is 35kmph and the distance traveled on a single charge is up to 35 to 40km.

The dream of having commercially viable solar vehicle is becoming a rea lity. EV�s are gradually available in the market. This opportunity is taken towards design an d development of Solar two wheeler. Solar vehicle is a multi-disciplinary subject which covers broad and complex aspects. However,it has core technologies,namely propulsio n technology,energy source technology,storage and control technology. As energy source s olar panel is used and developed voltage is stored in battery and used for the drive the hub motor which is used as rare wheel of the vehicle.

In automobile sector, the need for alternative fuel as a replacement of conventional fossil fuel, due to its depletion and amount of emission has given way for new technologies like Fuel cells vehicles, Electric vehicles. Still a lot of advancement has to take place in these technologies for commercialization. The gap between the current fossil fuel technology and zero emission vehicles can be bridged by hybrid technology. Hybrid vehicles are those which can run on two or more powering sources/fuels. Feasibility of this technology is been proved in four wheelers and automobile giants like Toyota, Honda, and Hyundai have launched successful vehicles like Toyota prius, Honda insight etc. This technology maximizes the advantages of the two fuels and minimizes the disadvantages of the same. The best preferred hybrid pair is electric and fossil fuel. This increases the mileage of the vehicle twice the existing and also reduces the emission to half. At present, we like to explore the hybrid technology in the two wheeler sector and its feasibility on road. This paper deals with an attempt to make a hybrid with electric start and petrol run. Further a design of basic hybrid elements like motor, battery, and engine. As on today, hybrid products are one of the best solutions for all pollution hazards at a fairly nominal price. An investment within the means of a common man that guarantees a better environment to live in.

The proposed project is developed to manage the automobile in the automobile dealer company. The main module in this project is login, automobile management, customer management, sales, complaints and reports. The first module is the login. The automobile showroom owner should login to the project for usage. The username and password are verified and if it is correct, next form opens. If the username and password are not correct, it shows the error message. When a customer search for a automobile, if the automobile is available, they will be taken to a page that shows the details of the automobile including automobile name, automobile ID, quantity, price etc. “Automobile Management System” is useful for maintaining automobiles, customers effectively and hence helps for establishing good relation between customer and automobile organization. It contains various customized modules for effectively maintaining automobiles and stock information accurately and safely. When the automobile is sold to the customer, stock will be reduced automatically. When a new purchase is made, stock will be increased automatically. While selecting automobiles for sale, the proposed software will automatically check for total number of available stock of that particular item, if the total stock of that particular item is less than 5, software will notify the user to purchase the particular item. Also when the user tries to sale items which are not in stock, the system will prompt the user that the stock is not enough. Customers of this system can search for a automobile; can purchase a automobile easily by selecting fast. On the other hand the stock of automobiles can be maintained perfectly by the automobile shop manager overcoming the drawbacks of existing system.

Q.1 A single plate clutch with both sides of the plate effective is required to transmit 25 kW at 1600 r.p.m. The outer diameter of the plate is limited to 300 mm and the intensity of pressure between the plates not to exceed 0.07N / m * m ^ 2 Assuming uniform wear and coefficient of friction 0.3, find the inner diameter of the plates and the axial force necessary to engage the clutch. Q.2 A multiple disc clutch has radial width of the friction material as 1/5th of the maximum radius. The coefficient of friction is 0.25. Find the total number of discs required to transmit 60 kW at 3000 r.p.m. The maximum diameter of the clutch is 250 mm and the axial force is limited to 600 N. Also find the mean unit pressure on each contact surface. Q.3 A cone clutch is to be designed to transmit 7.5 kW at 900 r.p.m. The cone has a face angle of 12°. The width of the face is half of the mean radius and the normal pressure between the contact faces is not to exceed 0.09 N/mm². Assuming uniform wear and the coefficient of friction between the contact faces as 0.2, find the main dimensions of the clutch and the axial force required to engage the clutch. Q.4 A cone clutch is mounted on a shaft which transmits power at 225 r.p.m. The small diameter of the cone is 230 mm, the cone face is 50 mm and the cone face makes an angle of 15 deg with the horizontal. Determine the axial force necessary to engage the clutch to transmit 4.5 kW if the coefficient of friction of the contact surfaces is 0.25. What is the maximum pressure on the contact surfaces assuming uniform wear? Q.5 A soft surface cone clutch transmits a torque of 200 N-m at 1250 r.p.m. The larger diameter of the clutch is 350 mm. The cone pitch angle is 7.5 deg and the face width is 65 mm. If the coefficient of friction is 0.2. find: 1. the axial force required to transmit the torque: 2. the axial force required to engage the clutch; 3. the average normal pressure on the contact surfaces when the maximum torque is being transmitted; and 4. the maximum normal pressure assuming uniform wear. Q.6 A single block brake, as shown in Fig. 1. has the drum diameter 250 mm. The angle of contact is 90° and the coefficient of friction between the drum and the lining is 0.35. If the torque transmitted by the brake is 70 N-m, find the force P required to operate the brake. Q.7 The layout and dimensions of a double shoe brake is shown in Fig. 2. The diameter of the brake drum is 300 mm and the contact angle for each shoe is 90°. If the coefficient of friction for the brake lining and the drum is 0.4, find the spring force necessary to transmit a torque of 30 N-m. Also determine the width of the brake shoes, if the bearing pressure on the lining material is not to exceed 0.28N / m * m ^ 2

For these systems to be accessible on mobile phones and computers outside the premises of the airport, cinema, train station or stadiums, they need to be on the internet or a network. This project focuses on the design and implementation of a web based cinema management system for the allocation of seat tickets online. The system would feature the registration of users, use of serial numbers and pins gotten from scratch cards sold and a printed slip. The system would have a store of all the seats and automate the generation of fresh serial numbers and pins.

CFD analysis is incredibly effective at solving mysteries and improving the performance of complex systems! Here's a great example: At a large natural gas-fired power plant, where they use waste heat to generate steam and energy, they were puzzled that their boiler wasn't producing as much steam as expected. R&R and Tetra Engineering Group Inc. were asked to solve the issue with reduced steam production. An inspection had shown that a significant amount of hot flue gas was bypassing the boiler tubes, where the heat was supposed to be transferred. R&R Consult conducted a CFD analysis, which revealed that 6.3% of the flue gas was bypassing the boiler tubes without transferring heat. The analysis also showed that the flue gas was instead being directed along the sides of the boiler and between the modules that were supposed to capture the heat. This was the cause of the reduced performance. Based on our results, Tetra Engineering installed covering plates to reduce the bypass flow. This improved the boiler's performance and increased electricity production. It is always satisfying when we can help solve complex challenges like this. The optimization of hybrid solar PV panels and pumped hydro energy supply systems plays a pivotal role in utilizing natural resources effectively. This initiative not only benefits humanity but also fosters environmental sustainability. The study investigated the design optimization of these hybrid systems, focusing on understanding solar radiation patterns, identifying geographical influences on solar radiation, formulating a mathematical model for system optimization, and determining the optimal configuration of PV panels and pumped hydro storage. Through a comparative analysis approach and eight weeks of data collection, the study addressed key research questions related to solar radiation patterns and optimal system design. The findings highlighted regions with heightened solar radiation levels, showcasing substantial potential for power generation and emphasizing the system's efficiency. Optimizing system design significantly boosted power generation, promoted renewable energy utilization, and enhanced energy storage capacity. The study underscored the benefits of optimizing hybrid solar PV panels and pumped hydro energy supply systems for sustainable energy usage. Optimizing the design of solar PV panels and pumped hydro energy supply systems as examined across diverse climatic conditions in a developing country, not only enhances power generation but also improves the integration of renewable energy sources and boosts energy storage capacities, particularly beneficial for less economically prosperous regions. Additionally, the study provides valuable insights for advancing energy research in economically viable areas. Recommendations included conducting site-specific assessments, utilizing advanced modeling tools, implementing regular maintenance protocols, and enhancing communication among system components.

INTRODUCTION Main reason to identify the need of finding and modifying E- BIKE is to overcome the issue of the pollution because of the vehicles in metro towns & urban zones is swelling uninterruptedly. Day by day there is increasing cost of fuel Also their availability decreases. For that reason people try another type of energy source. Electric motorcycles are noiseless, pollution free. The large use of the travelling vehicles has increased the problems connected to the air quality and to the use of petroleum. India is the second most popular nation in the world. Like many other countries where agriculture is the main activity, biomass and other non- commercial fuels constitute around 40% of energy requirement in India. E-Bike is the plug-in electrical vehicles with two or three wheels. The power on which this bike works is stored in a rechargeable battery which drives the motor, in India, many of the villages are still without electricity and most of them use E-BIKE as their medium of transportation. This would charge the Lithium-ion batteries. The feasible design concepts of a power-assisted are presented with detailed analysis of its performance during standard duty cycle. The main purpose of using this E-bike is that is user eco-friendly, economical and relatively cheap. In village e-bikeareusedin transposition purpose. 2. LITERATURE REVIEW C. A new model of power-assisted bicycle has been designed, set up and tested. The main innovative solutions for the pedicel prototype are described in the present paper: the electric motor position; the new mechanical transmission; the low cost measurementsystem of the driving torque; the special test rig. The battery chosen for this project was a high capacity lithium ion battery pack designed specifically for electric bikes by Golden Motor Technology Co Ltd. Aluminum casing is provided to house the internal components of the battery yet remains at a reasonable weight below 12.12 pounds. The battery is rated is at 48V, 12AH. A maximum electrical output results at an approximate constant speed of 50km/h (31mph). The amount of charging cycles of the battery is greater than 800. Lithium ion batteries are one of the most popular types of battery for portable electronics. Although slightly lower in energy density than lithium metal,lithium-ionsafe,provided certain precautions are met when charging and discharging. Rake Anglealsocalled as steering head angle, which is the angle between the neck and the vertical axis of the wheel axle. It determines the type of vehicle whether it is a cruise or sport type vehicle. It plays a major role in inducing stability of the vehicle. The angle for the front neck with respect to the vertical axis is 19ᵒ which might optimize the length of ebike. 3. Finally the top tube, down tube and supporting structures were also considered and developed towards completion. 3.2 Swing Arm Fig-3: Isometric view of Swing Arm Swing arm is an ideal mechanical link which connects the suspension with transmission system. It was connected to chassis with the help of connecting pin. The suspension provides the action, in order to maintain the consistent contact between wheels and roads. For such sufficient action, the swing arm acts as the major platform for after design completion of frame and swing arm separately, assembly was performed by combining both the frame and the swing arm. Thus an assembled design was produced asa result. 4. MATERIAL SELECTION The selection of the material in design depends on various factors such as load, function, climatic condition, lifetime, and overall expenditure. Taking the above factors into consideration, material selectionwasdoneinordertodesign an efficient and economical type of frame. Steel Alloys, Aluminum and its alloys, Titanium, Carbon Fiber was preferred type of materials during selection. Comparatively, AISI 4130 Alloy Steel was used in the present study as it is easily available, cost effective, and has improvedmechanical properties. 5. CONCLUSION With the increasing use of natural resources of petrol, diesel it is important to shift our way towards alternate resources like the Electric bike and others because it is essential to identify new way of transport. Electric bike is a modification of the existing cycle by implementing electric energy and solar energy if solar panels are provided, that would sum up to increase in energy production. 6.
