Non-Conformance Reporting
• Requirements
• Customer requests to allow the reporting and disposition of incidences of material and
non-material non-compliance against specified requirements
• As part of the planned enhancements there is a requirement to control actual logistical
material dispositions processes from the Non-Conforming Material Report
• Customer requests to link the Non-Conforming Material Report with the Service module
• Solution (upgrade to Non-Conformance Report)
• The Non-Conformance Report allows both material and non-material non-conformances
to be reported and dispositions to be made (2 separate elements)
• The Non-Conformance Report (material) is integrated with the new warehousing
quarantine location and disposition functionality.
• Includes Service order origins in the allowed NCR order origins and allow the creation or
linking of Non-Conformance Reports directly from specific service sessions

Non-Conformance Element
• A Non-Conformance Report is created when a product, process or procedure fails
to comply with the specified standards for that product, process or procedure.
• A Non-Conformance Report can be created as the result of a formal inspection,
audit process or on an “ad-hoc” basis.
• A Non-Conformance Report documents both the failure and the failure resolution.
• Within a manufacturing unit a Non-Conformance can relate specifically to items or
to the people, tools & equipment, procedures, documentation etc. which support
item creation.
