Being a man during the medieval period meant a lot more than being a man in the twenty first
century. There were certain expectations, and above all, different aspects when it came down to
what being a man was. Some things that are very evident are kinship, brotherhood, male to male
relationships, and bonding. While reading The Wonderer and Beowulf, it is very easy to pick out
spots where these different aspects are shown. So, how exactly do we know how these acts are
being portrayed?
While reading Beowulf, right off the back the reader can get a sense of what being a man means.
There is a bond of unity from the very beginning. Brotherhood and kinship go hand in hand
because even though Beowulf did not need any help from the men who traveled with him, they all

The United States faces an unprecedented number of economic, demographic, fiscal, and
environmental challenges that compel both the government and the private sector to rethink the
way they do business. While these new forces are incredibly diverse including everything from the
shale gas revolution to renewed consumer preferences for urban living they share one underlying
need: modern, efficient, and reliable infrastructure. Tangible assets made of concrete, steel, and
fiber optic cable are essential building blocks of the American economy. Infrastructure enables
global trade, powers businesses, connects workers to their jobs, creates new opportunities for
struggling communities, and protects America from an unpredictable natural environment. From
private investments in telecommunication systems, broadband networks, freight railroads, energy
projects, and pipelines, to public investments in transportation, water, public buildings, and parks,

American workers, providing millions of jobs each year to build and maintain the structures and

Andree Putman, one of the world best known contemporary designers was born in Paris, 1925.
Every career that Ms. Putman has attempted she has excelled in. Therefore, many would say her

20th century by some of the most famous designers such as Rovert Mallet Stevens, Pierre

these once unrecognized designers finally gain recognition.

received numerous awards for her achievements including the Design Achievement Award by the
American Society of Interior Designers in 1991 and, the Grand Prix National de la Creation

The Causes Of Alopecia
What is alopecia? Alopecia is identified as a partial or complete absence of hair from areas of
the body where it normally grows. Most people mistake alopecia for cancer but it is actually an
autoimmune disease. This form of disease attacks the hair follicles which causes the hair fall
out profusely. There are some cases where it s not so severe when it comes to hair loss. Some
people only lose a quarter size patch of hair in certain spots. But there are more severe cases
where the person will lose all hair on the body. The exact cause of alopecia is unknown.

more often than not. He would get into fights, he had a good taste for alcohol and was

were performed. The Churel is about when a pregnant woman dies during the Hindu Festival of
