1. Layout Of An Essay
Writing an essay on the topic "Layout of an Essay" can be both challenging and rewarding. The
difficulty lies in the need to strike a balance between creativity and adherence to established
structural norms. Crafting an effective essay layout requires a deep understanding of the subject
matter, a coherent organization of ideas, and a mastery of language.
One challenge is finding the right introduction that captures the reader's attention while clearly
stating the purpose of the essay. The thesis statement, which typically follows the introduction,
must be well-defined and guide the reader on what to expect. Transitioning between paragraphs
smoothly and logically is another hurdle. Each paragraph should have a clear topic sentence,
supporting evidence, and a strong concluding sentence to maintain a cohesive flow.
Maintaining focus and avoiding tangential information is crucial. The essay layout demands a
concise and organized presentation of ideas, ensuring that each paragraph contributes to the
overall argument or discussion. Achieving a balance between depth and breadth of content is yet
another challenge – providing enough detail to support your points without overwhelming the
reader.
The conclusion poses its own set of challenges. It requires a skillful synthesis of the key points,
offering a resolution to the thesis statement and leaving a lasting impression on the reader. The
concluding remarks should resonate with the overarching theme of the essay without introducing
new ideas.
Additionally, proper citation and adherence to formatting guidelines add an extra layer of
complexity. Different style guides, such as APA, MLA, or Chicago, have specific rules
governing citations, references, and overall formatting, and failure to comply with these can
impact the essay's credibility.
In conclusion, navigating the intricacies of essay layout demands a thoughtful and deliberate
approach. It necessitates a blend of creativity, analytical thinking, and adherence to conventions.
While challenging, the process can be immensely rewarding, as it hones critical thinking and
communication skills. For those seeking assistance with such endeavors, a variety of resources
are available, including professional writing services likeHelpWriting.net, where similar essays
and much more can be ordered.

2. Adolescent Relationships 10 Things I Hate About You Essay
Over the course of adolescence, people interact with one another, forming
relationships, whether they are healthy or unhealthy. There is a large correlation
between the self esteem of the two people, and the state of their relationship. The
lower one s self esteem in a relationship is, the unhealthier their relationship is likely
to be. Conversely, a healthy or unhealthy relationship can also raise or lower one s
self esteem. In the 1999 film 10 Things I Hate About You, the relationship between
Kat Stratford and Patrick Verona is an example of how a healthy relationship can
raise one s self esteem, while the relationship between Bianca Stratford and Chastity
Church shows how a low self esteem can lead to an unhealthy relationship.

Chastity has a low self esteem, as shown in their conversation during the exposition
of the film. When they are discussing Bianca s Prada backpack and their Sketchers,
Bianca is discussing how she likes her sketchers, but loves her Prada backpack.
Chastity, stopping, replies that she loves her sketchers, obviously a bit offended by
the subliminal insult Bianca sent her. However, this only lasts a moment before
Chastity plasters a fake smile on her face and moves on. This scene showed how
Chastity s self esteem was low enough for her to hide the fact that she was hurt and
insulted, but also showed the unhealthy relationship the two friends had because
instead of talking about how Chastity felt and sharing their emotions, they ignored it
and moved on. The large problem in this relationship occurs when Bianca finds out
that Joey took Chastity to prom the moment he found out that he wasn t going to be
able to go with her. When Bianca confronts Chastity, they don t settle the problem in
any healthy manners. Instead, Chastity bluntly informs Bianca that Joey was merely
aiming to nail her that night and insults her, likely cutting off whatever sort of
unhealthy screwed up relationship they d had.
In the 1999 motion picture 10 Things I Hate About You, Several interesting
adolescent relationships are portrayed, showing the correlation between self esteem
and healthy relationships. While the healthy relationship
3. The Second Coming By W. B. Yeats
The Second Coming by W. B. Yeats, was written in 1919 following World War I and
was to present the idea that he thought that the apocalypse as presented in the Book
of Revelation from the Bible was about to begin. The poem does not mention the
second coming of Christ but rather focuses on the coming of the antichrist, meaning
Yeats could only see despair, hopelessness, and chaos in the world. These
sentiments of Yeats and others are due to war damages, collapsing economies, and
the coming of the Great Depression and the Irish civil war. The word choice, meter,
persona, subject, and lack of mention of Christ all collectively contribute to reflecting
Yeats sentiments in the poem. Several lines in the poem support this mentality of
despair and chaos. Turning and turning in the widening gyre refers to the worsening
state of society with the collapse of democratic governments and economies. (1) The
second line, The falcon cannot hear the falconer means that any sense of hierarchy
and authority has been lost. The best people don t have the conviction to combat the
growing evil and the worst, the sinners, are full of passionate intensity meaning the
world is filled with those who wish to do evil. (7 8) These lines emphasize the
corruption that the world is falling into. The selection of adjectives and nouns used in
the poem carry a negative connotation reflecting the negatives thoughts of the state of
the world. Yeats uses words such as blood dimmed, anarchy,

Has Social Media Activism, Centered On Police Brutality in African American
Communities Producing Sustainable Change?
Simona M. Young
University of Southern California
Over the last year, the media has done an excellent job in bringing national exposure
to the culture of police brutality within African American communities. Fortunately,
social media alongside the growing accessibility to smartphones has assisted in
bringing these intentional violations to the forefront of the national debate, creating a
new form of activism, commonly referred to as social media activism ( Policing The
Police and Prosecuting The Clan, n.d.; Pooly, 2011). However, is this new form of
social activism, through social media, producing real, tangible change in the fight
against discrimination and social injustices in America? Historically, the driving force
behind successful social movements is effective organizing. Most attribute the
success of the Civil Rights Movement to the impressionistic images of dramatic
confrontations with police dogs and African Americans people being hosed down
with water in the streets, however, it was rooted in a hybrid of extremely intentional
efforts, which included civil disobedience, grass roots organizing with intense
political mobilization, economic withdrawal, via mass boycotts and sit ins, and
sensational community leaders/activists who are able to evoke intense emotional
connections, galvanizing the black community to act in

Developing a Health Advocacy Campaign
Living a long, thriving and healthy life is a vision many Americans strive to make
into a reality. Unfortunately, HIV/AIDS epidemic has deprived many people of
this dream. HIV/AIDS is one of the worlds most serious and the deadliest diseases
and a $30.4 billion drain on healthcare cost in the United States, and of this figures
57% is appropriated for routine care, 10% for housing and social support assistance,
9% for research and 22% for global assistance to address the epidemic (The Henry J.
Kaiser Foundation, 2016). According to Small Kerr, (2011), HIV/AIDS research has
had a long and peculiar history in evidence based advances related to disease
management, education, and antiretroviral medication. With all the advances to
increase HIV/AIDS awareness, access to care, fear of stigma and lack of
confidentiality act as reasoning for treatment and testing refusal. The purpose of this
paper is to discuss the possible course of public policy mandate reporting and
incorporating responses to legal and ethical dilemmas through effective advocacy
programs and supportive lobbyists.

7. Write An Essay On Costa Rica
Natural hazards strike several parts of the world, some areas tend to get more hit

Republic of Costa Rica. The republic of Costa Rica is mostly known as Costa Rica.
Costa Rica means rich coast . Such country is slightly smaller than Lake Michigan

biodiversity. Costa Rica is located in Central America, bordered by Panama to the
southeast, Nicaragua to the north, the Pacific Ocean to the west, and the Caribbean
Sea to the east.
I personally have had the opportunity to visit Costa Rica several times. Costa Rica
is a paradise and because of its positions on the ring of fire, it has many volcanos, a
lot of mountains and beautiful beaches. The CIA website, that gathers information
of all countries, describes Costa Rica s climate as tropical and subtropical a dry
season from December to April and a rainy season from May to November. (CIA) to

Note: This statue of an Ancient Egyptian woman clearly shows the way of dressing in
Ancient Egypt. This statue belongs to the New Kingdome period.
Body: The woman is wearing a kalasiris, a typical ancient Egyptian dress. The length
of the dress tells us that this woman probably belonged to the upper class, as working
woman mostly wore a kalasiris in a shorter variant. The dress is made of linen, which
was perfect for Egypt s hot climate. The dress is undecorated, but does have a lot of
pleats going in various directions, which must have been very labour intensive.
Head: The woman is wearing a wig, made of human hair or date palm fibres. The hair
is curled and was kept together by wax. The wigs were only worn by wealthy people.

9. Christianity, Hinduism, Buddhism, And Judaism
The following religions Christianity, Islam, Hinduism, Buddhism and Judaism are
among the top religions when evaluating the number of followers they encompass
worldwide (Henderson, 2005, p.1). Through assessing these major belief systems and
their views, diversity between them is apparent. These multiplicities range from
Hindus who acknowledge multitudes of gods to Muslims who believe in one God,
Allah. Although the variety of beliefs and practices exist their remains some central
concepts such as the belief that one being will bring about the unification of
religions. For example, Buddhists belief they will experience the coming of Maitrya,
Hindus believe in coming of the Kalki Avata, the Jews and Christians believe in a
Messiah and the Muslims believe in the coming of Mahdi (Woodward, 2000). The
Hand of Bodhista Maitreya is an artifact that communicates the concept that these
religions, Christianity, Islam, Hinduism, Buddhismand Judaism, all believe that a
unifying religionwill one day come to fruition. Artifacts such as, Hand of Bodhista
Maitreya, can represent the faith of Buddhism but in addition hold within its art form
a universal concept that represents beliefs of other faiths. Some argue that the artifact,
Hand of Bodhista Maitreya, is a fragmented from a full body statue that represents
Maitreya that is only significant to the Buddhist community; however this
representation of Maitreya is relevant to religions and societies all over the world,

Chicago has a history steeped in growth of infrastructure, devastating natural
disasters, and everything in between. It first was settled in the late 1700 s and has
been growing exponentially ever since. It s a city of commerce and opportunity for
many incoming immigrants and settlers to start a fresh life. This place became one
of the most desirable cities in America to live and became the new home for many
people from the south, including African Americans. Many European immigrants
also tagged along with these black people coming from the southern states and made

Negro residents were often molested by whites and some whites ended up even
putting warning signs in the neighborhoods with pictures of skulls, crossbones, and
coffins. It was a long process for many urban whites, European immigrants, and
blacks to coexist. However, it was such a unique situation that Chicago had never
seen before, thus making this city one of the most fascinating and diverse group of
cultures in America. The state of Illinois has had some of the most recognized and
respected Democratic politicians in American history. In 1955, Richard J. Daley
became mayor until his death in 1976. According to author Adam Cohen, he was
the most powerful local politician America has ever produced. Under his reign,
the city s black population was reaching record levels, as trainloads of blacks fled
their hard lives in the rural south for the promise of a better life in northern cities. It
was pretty clear that Chicago under Daley became America s major northern rights
battleground. At the time of Daley s inauguration in 1955, Chicago was spiraling
downward. According to Cohen, Chicago s 1950 population of 3,620,962 turned out
to be the high water mark meaning the city would steadily lose inhabitants. Chicago
was losing not only people, but jobs, to the rapidly growing Cook County suburbs.
Before Daley s time as mayor, the city lost 53,209 manufacturing jobs, while the rest

What evolution of the Tramp as a character do you observe? What evolution do you
observe regarding story and/or general filmmaking between Mabel s Strange
Predicament and The Pawnshop? Give clear examples.
In terms of story Mabel s Predicament has clear differences than The Pawnshop
primarily because the Tramp is not the main focus throughout the entirety of the film.
The Tramp in fact is more of a side character that provides the main forms of
entertainment within the film. His character in Mabel s Predicament is just as the

and somewhat of a villain to the other characters. In The Pawnshop we consistently
are focused on the Tramp the story is primarily
14. Cartesian Dualism Essay
My definition of Cartesian dualism is the belief of an afterlife. Believing that your
soul is not the same substance as your body. Cartesian dualism consists of two parts,
the mind and the body being independent, but casually interacting with one another.
The mind can influence the body, and the body can affect the mind, but they are
distinct in their separate positions. Descartes argues this theory by implying the
nature of mind as a thinking thing being completely different from the body as a non
thinking thing and that it is possible for one to exist without the other. The mind and
body are both substances, substances are things that can exist alone without anything
else. He explains the properties as breaking them down into primary attributes... Show

He uses the wax example described in meditation 2 comparing the awareness of
himself to his awareness of wax. He states For if I judge that the wax exists from
the fact that I see it, clearly this same fact entails much more evidently that I
myself also exist. It is possible that what I see is not really the wax; it is possible
that I do not even have eyes with which to see anything. (Descartes Mediation 2) He
is contradicting his delusional ideas of doubt about his existence to help understand
the common sense position. There is a metaphysical connection between the mind
and the body, so he does not go by what the eye sees, but more of what the soul sees
beyond what is directly in front of you. He uses the third mediations to characterize
what it is to be epistemic describing it as clear and distinct perception. The basis for
perception and clear judgement is the evidence he used to understand an epistemic
view. (Plato.Stanford.edu) Descartes belief that the mind and body interact could be
seen as just an illusion, but the fact that he used his thought process and him
questioning his identity to defer whether it is possible for the mind and body to be
separate substances explains his perceptual experiences and how it is plausible. I
think that it is an accurate theory because of the dependence on the mind and the
dependence we have on the body.
15. The Writer Of James Baldwin
James Baldwin
James Baldwin is an exceptionally writer who tested the water with writing. He
was a writer who was not afraid to talk about new things that most writers of his
time would not do. Most people did not know that Baldwin was actually a part of
the civil rights movement. He was a writer who tried to write out and explain to the
black experience to the white people. Even though he was not talking about as much
as Martin Luther King and Malcolm X, he was a big part of the civil rights
movement. As you read this essay you will see how Baldwin became the writer that
he is known to be today and also why he wrote, also learn about how he opened the
door to thing that most writers of his time would not talk about.
James Baldwin was born on August 2, 1924, in New York in the city of Harlem.
He died on December 1, 1987 in Saint Paul De Vence France. In 1953 he had
published a novel Go Tell It On The Mountain, that had showed his vision on the
topic of race, spirituality, and humanity. He had also created other novels called
Giovanni s Room, Another Country, and Just Above My Head. He was also known
for his essay works such as Native Son and The Five Next Time
James Baldwin is arguably one of the best writer to be born in the 20 century. He
was born to Emma Jones who was a single mother who never told Baldwin who his
dad was. Ms. Jones did get remarried to an another man who was named David

a model is something very difficult to become because today s society is very
judgmental. However, from Cameron s second main point, can I be a model when

and hard to get. From the presenter s third main point, do they retouch all the
photos? explains that what everyone sees on TV, magazines, or social media are
not real and that they are all retouched. The fourth main point that Russell goes

2.3Factors Affecting Accurate Demand Forecast
The operation of electricity system is strongly influenced by the accuracy of
demand forecast as economy and control of electric power system is quite sensitive
to forecasting errors [44 45]. The four important factors affecting load forecast are:
I.Weather conditions Electricity demand has a strong correlation to weather. To
develop an efficient and accurate demand forecasting model for electricity much
effort has been put to find a relationship between the weather and the demand of
electricity. The change in comforts of customer due to change in weather conditions
resulting in usage of appliances likes air conditioner, space heater and water heater. It
also includes use of agricultural appliances for irrigation. The pattern of demand
differs greatly in the areas with large meteorological difference during summer and
winter. Dry and wet temperature, humidity, dew point, wind speed, wind direction,
sunshine and amount of precipitation are common weather parameters that influence
electricity demand. Among the weather variables listed above, two composite
weather variable functions, the cooling degree days and heating degree days are
broadly used by utility
18. What Is The Theme Of The Pie By Gary Soto
At some point in almost everyone s childhood, there is a moment of deliberate
wrongdoing, followed by panic and guilt. Perhaps it is standing on the water spout
outside the house and neglecting to inform an adult when the pipe breaks and
spews water into the backyard. Maybe it is lying to a parent about the whereabouts of
a dollar after the ice cream truck goes by. For author Gary Soto, it was stealing a pie
from the neighborhood grocery store. In his autobiography, Soto recounts the story
and emotions of his six year old self taking an apple pie off the rack and walking
home with it, only to be overwhelmed by a guilt ridden conscience. Throughout the
narrative, Soto uses imagery and precise diction to recreate his experiences as a guilty

19. Fallacies Are Defined As Mistakes By Belief Based On An...
Analysis about Fallacy Fallacies are defined as mistakes in belief based on an
unsound argument, and many different types of such mistakes can occur when a
writer is writing; therefore, when readers read a book, they may encounter different
types of fallacies. Even arguing with some people, they use some false logiccausing
fallacythat can be a frustrating experience. Nevertheless, after people know these
are examples of fallacies, they can identify what they are doing and spot the lapse in
logic right away. Help Those Who Help, Not Hurt, Themselves is an example that is
a short essay discussing the problem about homeless, and some examples of fallacies
exist in the essay when the writer makes arguments.
Misusing of generalizing in the essay causes a fallacy. Help Those Who Help, Not
Hurt, Themselves states that people should refuse to provide homeless help, so
that homeless will learn to support themselves through getting a job and working.
Writher demonstrates that the homeless do not seek work or pride, and they are
satisfied to beg and survive on other s generosity. It is obvious that writer makes a
logical fallacy called overstatement, which occurs when the generalization is
unqualified. That is, it refers to all members of a category or class, although the
evidence justifies an assertion about only some in the class. In the essay, the writer
defines homeless a person who prefers begging for food than working, but, in fact,
only some of homeless like to beg
20. Different Types Of Disorders And Diseases Caused By A...
There are many types of disorders and diseases caused by a mutation in the human
genome, a fundamental building block of DNA. Achondroplasia has been classified
for a long period of time, but it was only around twenty years ago that the cause was
discovered. This disorder happens to be caused by a simple change of base in an
autosomal chromosome. This is commonly a transitional mutation that causes a
simple change in proteinstructure. Most of the individuals with Achondroplasia have
similar mutations at a common nucleotide. Achondroplasia is a classification of
dwarfism, which is a genetic disorder that causes a mutation on an autosomal
chromosome with a change in a single nucleotide.
Achondroplasia is a common form of dwarfism that is noticed by a short stature,
lowered muscle tone, reduced extension of arm joints, shorter than normal hands and
mid face hypoplasia (HUNG, C., et.al.2008). The first classification of
Achondroplasia was by Dr. Jurgen Spranger, then in 1994 the genethat was found
responsible was mapped by Dr. John Wasmuth and thus found to be located on
chromosome four; that being said this fact makes the mutation autosomal (Vajo.z,

When I have urges ,they re usually to eat a poptart or a bread roll! But when I fought
my urges, I thought that I deserved it... but I didn t. I was getting ready for my
birthday. It was 11:50 on December 18 2016. I was turning 10 and I was so excited! I
was getting ready watch a special movie but I was getting tired! If I went to bed now,
I wouldn t be able to bask in the glory of my (hopefully) best birthday ever!
Becoming a double digit meant I was going to become an adolescent, but I was
drifting of so I was going to drink an espresso (decaf of course) and chew gum but I
saw no gum and no espresso! I m screwed! Wait a minute wait don t wait a minute,
It s 11:59 and 40 seconds! I was going on to the couch but then I was 12:00! And I
was knocked out! I saw one thing... me! I was in The Eiffel tower and I was staring
at myself! We both said Hi how are ya ! Then we both said Kill them all ! Then we
both said Pawniard, Charge order by the way for you information Pawniard is a
poket monster ! Then we both summoned swords into our hands that were on fire,
lightning, water, and earth, and started attacking! As metal clashed against metal,
we summoned armor and daggers as we fought and were both wounded when we
were both teleported into my room, but the way I wished it was with a flat screen
T.V., a mini fridge full of lemonade, and a a 24 pack of chocolate chip cookies! As
we fought my consciousness was wavering. I was feeling like I was falling asleep! I
was going to hide but I knew he would follow me, so I use a power outage move and
expelled all of my power, and as I suspected, so did he. Then I woke up and was on
my couch. It was a dream... hopefully. Hey, its my birthday! Well, I love cake. Time
to get my cake on! Well, I m going to chew some gum because I m stuffed. Like a
turkey right before Thanksgiving because I m tired. I just went shopping so I m
tired stuffed and bored! Well I hope I don t have another horrid, creepy, and
strangely similar dream. I went to bed while being in bed. It happened again. I was
in my crazy cool bedroom! But this time it was strangely different. In the corner
where I like darkness so I can watch youtube on my Kindle Fire, the darkness was

22. Essay on Point Clear, Alabama
For many, the quaint town of Point Clear, Alabama represents the Old South
rooted in tradition, charm, and grace. Halfway down the bay and nearly hidden
among oaks adorned with Spanish moss, Point Clear was founded in the early
1800s. Today, the city continues to honor its role in the Civil War, perpetuates the
memories of its residents, and evolves as a greater and better place. Following the
coast line, early Spanish explores first discovered Point Clear situated on the Bay of
the Holy Spirit or as it is known today, Mobile Bay. The town was named Punta
Clara in 1800 by the Spanish explorers because it was an easily identifiable
landmark along the bay that marked the halfway point from the bay s southern edge
to Mobile (Havner).... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
Also, east of the Point Clear Hotel in the Point Clear Cemetery lay the graves of
Confederate soldiers who were treated at the Hotel and died in Point Clear during
the Civil War (Havner)(Walker). Point Clear had a huge influx of popularity in the
years following the Civil War. In the late 1800s and early 1900s wealthy planters
from all over the South flocked to the then Point Clear Hotel and the Texas Bar
(Walker). In 1882 Dr. William H. Anderson , a Mobile resident, wrote a brochure
entitled, The City of Mobile and the Contiguous County and the Gulf Coast as Winter
Resort for Health and Pleasure of Invalids and other from the North and Northwest,
in which he describes the pleasures that were found in Point Clear. He explains:
Point Clear, a watering place about twenty miles from the city of Mobile, there is a
large and elegant hotel, filled in summer with visitors from Alabama, Mississippi,
and Louisiana. It is also open in winter to all who may desire to take advantage of the
salt air from the Gulf. This watering place is the finest, most healthy and most
commodious in the South (Sulzby).
Also in similar nature, Fredric P. Ravesies, President of the Vine and Olive Society
and original resident of Spring Hill, wrote in 1884 that:

23. Time Spent And Attachment Research Paper
Time Spent and Attachment Daycare for infants at a young age can be a negative
or positive thing. Daycare is a place where parents can drop off their children
knowing they are in a safe environment. It is where they can trust the caregiver for
the time being, while they are away at work. While the childis at daycare they develop
different type of skills that can help them cognitively, physically, and emotionally.
Most of the skills young children acquire at the daycare usually do not pick up in
their homes. In the daycare sitting, the children can be free in their environment,
experience more things, are and able to learn more by interacting with the people in
their environment. Since children in a daycare have more of an open environment...

The child will feel betrayed and unloved, but once they spend time with another
caregiver the attachment they have for their parent will shift to the caregiver and
the child will feel stable and at ease again. As explained by Cummings (1980),
children have accept caregivers as a replacement for the mother, the child rarely
cried or followed the mother when leaving. During the time that is spent with the
caregiver the child formed some sort of relationship. Once the parents leave, the
children hardly felt distraught. This suggests that the caregivers are more than
strangers to the children they feel like can trust them like their parents. The
characteristics of a caregiver helps the children feel at ease and feel safe again once
the child is dropped off at the daycare. According to Cummings (1980), when the
child is left with their caregiver they had more a positive response to the caregiver
than to strangers. The stability of a caregiver does have an importance in a child s
life and relationship. In a more ecologically friendly environment, the results indicates
that a stable caregiver is the next best thing after the parent (Cummings, 1980). This
proves that even though the parent left the child with another caregiver they still have
the same attachment they have towards the parent to the caregiver; the feeling is
mutual. The

different materials, but they always found themselves too cold or too hot. And are
wasting there money on different kinds of winter gear, and most do not work out.
What if they tried wool, synthetic, or alpacawool, which one keeps people the
warmest in the winter?
By 4000 BC, Babylonians were wearing clothing out of crudely woven wool fabric.
People soon began to develop and maintain herds of wool bearing animals, and the
wool of sheep was soon recognized as one of the most practical to use. During the
eleventh and twelfth centuries, wool trade prospered in Europe. (Wool).... Show more

thicker. It s becoming a demand for its silkiness. Japan have suits made out of it and
handkerchiefs. Coats and gloves are constantly made from alpaca wool and they
hold up to kids playing outside with their sturdy but, soft fibers. Alpaca wool is not
as tightly bound as wool, thus making it easier to breath through but, is also thick
enough to keep in the heat better than regular wool.
There is snow gear made out of other materials, and different materials mixed

resistant to moisture but, gram for gram they
27. Alcohol At Sporting Events And Alcohol
In today s society, sporting events and alcohol are intertwined. Social drinking has
always been a part of the sporting spectrum, whether at a tailgate party, sports bar,
professional stadium or arena, and even at home. Collegiate sporting events are no
exception to this popular pastime. However, alcohol is not available at every NCAA
sporting event. According to Mitchell (2015), only 25% of FBS colleges allow the
sale of alcoholat sporting events. Obviously, the main concern for not allowing
alcohol at sporting events is the risk of underage drinking, binge drinking, and
rowdiness among students and fans. Despite this setback, many colleges are
allowing the sales of alcohol in order to decrease the economic burden many
colleges are facing. Several colleges such as the University of Maryland and the
University of Memphis have recently started implementing the sales of alcohol for
this reason. Not only is sales the main revenue stream for selling alcohol, but also
sponsorship from the alcohol companies themselves. The idea of extra revenue may
sound great for many collegiate athletic departments, but there are legal risks to take
into full consideration. In a hypothetical situation where Dr. Mark Emmert resigns as
president of the NCAA, the first priority that should be implemented by the new
president should be the acceptance of alcohol sales at collegiate sporting events,
specifically championship events. When looking at the NCAA as a whole, the
biggest setback that most
28. Designing An Interactive Model For Finding The Optimal...
Abstract
The motivation behind this paper is to propose a new approach called objective
factorizable approach based on a decomposition algorithm in an interactive model
for finding the optimal solution to multi level large scale quadratic programming
problem (MLLSQPP), in which the objective function can be factorized into two
single linear objective functions and has block angular structure of the constraints.
What s more, the author advances the concepts of satisfactoriness as the upper level
decision makers preferences until the preferred solution is come to. The bi section
method is suggested as an essential solution method to assess these upper level
decision makers preferences precisely. Finally, in order to exhibit the proficiency of
the proposed model, an illustrative example is provided.

programming; bisection method.
1.Introduction
Multi Level Programming (MLP) problems are an arrangement of overlapped
hierarchical optimization problems with numerous decision makers (DMs) over a
solitary feasible region. MLP techniques relegate each DM a unique objective, a set
of decision variables, and a set of common constraints that influence all DMs. DMs
make decision in turn or meanwhile to optimize their objective functions. [1, 2, 3, 4]
The vast majority of the optimization problems emerging in real world applications
incorporate vast numbers of variables and constraints, which

Quality Healthcare Introduction It will be evident to realize that financial,
educational, and socio demographic implications can bring serious impact on access
to quality healthcare in the organization.
Labor shortage will stay an important component that can affect as well the access to

effect on the aging population, which may reduce the quality of life, increase costs
for healthcare and rise resource allocation. In point of fact, both labor shortage and

Impact on Access to Quality Care
A majority of Americans imagine that the quality of healthcare and the socio
demographic changes have been impacted considerably by the global nursing
shortage.
A number of current reports show that United States is facing shortages of
healthcare providers countrywide. Access to quality care can decrease health
discrepancies and increase the years of healthy life for all U.S. citizens. Hospitals
across the U.S.A. are stressed with workforce shortages that have the potential to
cooperate both access to quality care and accessibility of healthcare in the next
five years. The phenomenon of shortage will impact on access to quality care
because there simply are not sufficient nurses and medicinal technologist to serve
our aging populace. On the other hand, the elderly women who are outnumbered
elderly men become more culturally and ethically diverse. Poverty rates will stay one

effects of aging are controlled by more special effects of race, class and gender and
may result in higher risks for health and social dilemmas.

A LAN is a network of computers in a specific area interconnect using a variety of

LAN are usually more restricted in access and more numerous.
LAN are used at WBHS to connect all the schofols desktops, servers, all in ones,

this gives them access to restricted Wi Fi, but for teachers and users on the schools

Liberty + Justice
Liberty is a condition in which a man s will regarding his own person and property
is unopposed by any other will, according to Paul Rosenberg. This definition is
saying that any person should have the freedom to do anything they want to do, as
long as they don t harm or negatively affect another person. Rosenberg also points out
that if you agree to liberty, or rather John Locke s definition of liberty, and its terms,
you must respect and treat everyone as an ally or comrade that has also agreed. If
someone that has agreed is a bad person and you don t like them, you still have to
treat them like an ally, no matter what. If we can t do that, we don t deserve to
succeed. (http://bit.ly/2c4SL6N)

33. Video Games And Its Effects On The Classroom
As technology changes each generation, so does choice of pastime. The most
notable one being a kid s obsession with video games, spending hours glued to the
monitor. Instead of fighting it, educators around the nation are accepting and
adopting the video game interest to their classrooms. Many may argue that
videogames are a distraction and are too violent, however, if implemented in
school systems the games used will be safe and focused around the core subject.
Otherwise, there are teachers out there that are interested in leveraging game for
learning, they re not alone. as the director of the academic and digital learning
Lucas Gillispie says, It makes it logical to implement video games to the class
lesson as it provides a fun and effective way for students to learn with. One of the
most popular game amongst young children, Minecraft, have already been
implemented in many school systems nationwide. Minecraft is a digital lego like,
sandbox game, meaning that the player has complete freedom within that game
world. Players manipulate the world around them through, as the game name says,
mining and crafting. The game itself has an overwhelming amount of items mirror
the real world with, giving Minecraft a high educational value to the point that it has
it s own educational variety, MinecraftEdu. According to the T H E Journal s 4
Innovative Ways To Teach With Video Games , their use of Minecraft was
intentionally used as an after school program for at risk students.

People that worked in the army or were part of the movie industry had to answer to
this question (McCarthyism).
Another one of the major things that happened in the 1950s was the Red Scare.
What that means is that people were scared that communists would rise against
them. Many of the people were very affected and according to The Gilder Lehrman
Institute of American History: Hundreds of screenwriters, actors, and directors were
blacklisted because of their alleged political beliefs, while teachers, steelworkers,
sailors, lawyers, and social workers lost their jobs for similar reasons.More than thirty
nine states required teachers and other public employees to take loyalty oaths (Anti
Communism).
As you can see many people, many important people had been affected. Many books
were also burned or banned such as Robin Hood, Civil Disobedience, etc (Anti
Communism). As was stated before many people had lost their jobs because the
government was suspicious of people.
The government was not doing so well there was so much disloyalty that teachers
had to take an oath of loyalty before they were hired. Could you imagine someone
making you take an oath of loyalty before you were hired just because of a few
problems with the government? well it happened (Anti Communism). They also
banned a ton of books that were considered too leftist (democrats) which means they

business ideas. Entrepreneurs thrived in this time, these businessmen were thought of
a captains of industry or robber barons. Most people thought that they were captains
of industry because of the good they did for the country. Entrepreneurs such as John
D. Rockefeller, Andrew Carnegie, and Henry Ford all helped their economy in some
way.

Henry Ford wanted to revolutionize the world with the horseless carriage, he did so
without Cutting any ones throat and was head of the first car company.
Captains of industry of this time helped out the working man, educational causes,

38. Resilience Across Lifespan
Resilience across a lifespan can happen different ways from physical development to
cognitive development. We also have social and emotional development. Throughout
this paper resilience will be applied to all of the above mentioned concepts.
Resilience across a lifespan is described through theories, measures, and even
personality characteristics. Resiliencehas also been applied to the impacts of
disasters and traumatic experiences in which will also be touched on throughout
this paper. Resilience is described as the process of adapting well in the face of
adversity, trauma, tragedy, threats, or significant sources of stress (American
Psychological Association, 2016). Resilience is an ordinary thing in human
beings. It is often described as bouncing back, which refers to bouncing back from
difficult times or situations. As a person grows older resilience grows as well. A
person s past can most certainly affect how a person uses resiliency in the present.
If a person is not affected negatively a lot in their past when it comes time for a
person to bounce back, they will not bounce back as smoothly as a person who has
had a very traumatic past and has learned how to bounce back in a smoother
fashion. A person s past determines their resiliency in the present and a person s
present determines their resiliency efforts in the future. Resiliency is different for
each and every person. Resiliency also can grow with a person or can dissipate
40. Infancy Gospel Of Thomas Research Paper
The man and being referred to as Jesus Christ was left an impression as a savior for
his followers. His impression left as a child is remarkably different from what is
apparent in the recounting of His other tales. The apostle Thomas was a witness to
the actions performed by the beloved Son of God and recounts his actions for his
own purpose. Furthermore, these accounts give an insight into the developing
personality of Christ or more so what he was meant to be to Christians. These
actions and characteristics of Christ at a young age impedes upon all facets that the
followers of JesusChrist know that he is to be feared and worshipped. The Infancy
Gospelof Thomas leads me to highly believe that His actions were for a reason so
much so that it influences every aspect of Christianity. In other words, God s
placement of Christ upon land was to ensure the following of one god that instilled

Is the major question and secondly why isn t his work more often circulated than
other well known accounts of Christ? To answer the first question, we being the
audience he addresses tells us that Jesus Christ was in his region after his birth.
Furthermore, Thomas was a Robin Hood architect during his time in India and
managed to spread Christianity upon the land there. Furthermore, not much is
known of the apostles in general and we can only acknowledge what is given to
us. To answer the second question, I highly believe that it s due to unconventional
and unrelated version of Jesus we re not used to. There is also, the backlash and
debates that would follow if it were to be an aspect of everyday Christian rituals
and laws. I know that it s actually a part of these laws but it s glazed over but the
Infancy Gospel of Thomas impacts Christianity due to many subtleties expressed in
these accounts. This is in relation to how Christ and God were perceived to the region
that contained Jesus and twin
41. The Black Family In The African American Family
The African American family
Family dynamics across all races are complex. For the state of the black family is
made even more complicated by a history rooted in slavery. Fractured families were
born out of a system where husbands were taken away, jailed or killed, leaving the
family weakened with a mother and/or grandmother at the helm. While these
historical facts may be true; that the black family is weak, can be argued. Yet, the
family for many in the black community and other communities of color extend to
include a large number of kin. On the other hand, it can also be argued that since
families were ripped apart during the slave trade it created an opportunity for setting
up networks of support and family units to include members who may not be blood
related. You often hear black peoplerefer to an elder as aunt or uncle these networks
were put in place as protective factors in the event that parents were sold there was
an assurance that someone would care for the children. To an extent this behavior
continues to this day as we see many fathers sentenced to long jail terms for petty
crimes or killed. The family structure makeup may be a blood relative and it may
also be kin of another kind. LaShawnDa Pittman discusses how these factors shape
the African American family and how slavery impacted the role of the mother and
father within the family system. During slavery there wasn t any possibility of
childhood. Children were socialized to begin work at the age of

was a core value, Gen X experienced more cultural diversity, higher levels of
education, with some even attaining college degrees. Gen X is also extremely

Diversity is another major influencer of Millennials, with such a strong focus on
creativity and having a heterogeneous organization through diversity. Education
levels are also at an all time high with Millennials, with which comes the optimistic
outlook most Millennials have on life. With many Gen Y entering the work force
now, the shift of the markets are moving to better be attuned to their new masters
attitudes, values, and beliefs, as the new face, voice, and shape of future generations.
The transition from generation X to Y like all previous transitions will impact the
markets, and revolutionize marketing strategies to be more attuned to today s
generation and how they perceive brand awareness, brand loyalty, the use of greener
/ethical materials, innovativeness, and creativity.
Purchasing Behaviour
Generation X s purchasing behaviour is that of brand loyalty and indifference
between premium brands and non premium brands. Generation X stay loyal to
brands if the quality of the product is consistent and if the price of the product
remains relatively affordable. Generation X will stay loyal if the product is
affordable and of significant quality. Generation X is extremely cautious when
buying products, and researching a product is a must before any purchase decision
is made. As such, it is obvious that most Gen X are concerned more with informative
advertising, visually appealing adverts are less appealing to Gen X
43. Global Decline Of Amphibians Essay
What is causing the global decline of amphibians? Introduction: In just the last 2
decades, there has been alarming declines and extinctions in amphibians globally.
However, what is causing these drastic declines remains a mystery to many scientists
mainly due to the anomalies or limitations in the data collection and various
environmental factors varying concurrently. Therefore, only causal links and
correlations have been deduced and the factors yet remain to be proven. Although
climate warming may not be the main direct cause of these drastic deaths, it
influences almost all the other deleterious factors from disease to habitat loss.
Amphibians are seen to be more sensitive to climate change that any other vibrates as

Engineering
Robert A. Heinlein once said, One man s magic is another man s engineering. With
saying I would like to be open about myself as to why I wish to pursue electronic
and computer engineering at HKUST.Being one of the world s best places to
pursue engineering for undergraduate and I am very excited by the core
curriculum. I would love a practical and research oriented course with equal
theoretical knowledge. I am expecting classes to be different from how they are

have suggested me to apply to HKUST.Studying at HKUST is not only about the
education you get there, it s a family in which I want to become a part.

I often recall opening numerous devices and see what s inside it. The main reason I
want to pursue electronic engineering is because of my love for building circuits.
Building and designing circuits have always been my hobby.During my free time,
I do research on circuits. My summer holidays, I am deeply involved in making
these circuits. When the circuit works, the amount of joy I get is fathomless.I have
built many circuits. This hobby is very close to my heart and electronic
engineering would help me in seeing how principles are to be applied to my future
designs. My intention is to build devices which would help differently able people
overcome their difficulties. In the next 10 years, my aim is to start a company and
help these people in their daily lives. I want to be part of our technological future and
make a positive contribution to future developments and electronic and
communication engineering has a major role in it. The potential to integrate new
technologies into real life applications and the opportunity to develop practical skills

45. Sugar Policy Essay
The sugar program has used farm commodity and trade policy instruments to support
domestic sugar prices at levels that exceed world prices without needing the
government to buy enormous quantities of domestic sugar in most years. The United
States of America sugar policy, which works under the Farm Bills overwhelmingly
passed in 2008 and 2014, is based on the common sense notion that supply and
demand should be in balance. Sugaris the cheapest major commodity program
because sugar farmers do not receive subsidy checks. To ensure that sugar policy runs
at limited cost to taxpayers, the United StatesDepartment of Agriculturehas three tools
at its disposal. The agency can slow the flood of foreign imports to those needed by
our trade agreement... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
The farmers are protected because the sugar companies must buy within the
country, and farming cannot be deported outside of the United States of America. I
think the policy is a good thing because it protects and benefits farmers, the
backbone of America. It is a good thing the farmers are protected because like the
economist says farming is one of the only things working in America s economy.
Having the farms and farmers thriving is creating jobs and sustaining America s
wealth and economy. Also keeping the farms in America is good for America s
people because it is healthier. I know that when the sugar is more expensive the
manufacturers will not be able to make more jobs, or they are sending the factories
plus the jobs to other countries like Mexico, like the Spangler company did when
they sent their candy cane factory there. Now, that is not the best thing for America
and the people who need jobs, but it would be worse for the United States if the
policy changed and farming went to other counties. If farming were to leave the
United States of America it would be detrimental to all the small towns and farming
communities Across the United States of

There are three distinct classes of houses in the tenement houses; the cheapest is
the attic home. Three rooms is next and is usually for very poor people. The vast
majority of respectable working people live in four rooms. Each of these classes
reflects the needs and resources of the renters in that the attic home, for example, is

If I could write an Immigration Act for today it would state that immigration would
be allowed but also monitored, in order to control the population from getting out of
hand. Also, anyone caught in this country illegally, without papers of any sort, would
be sent back to their country of origin and would also be banned from trying to re

Character Representation
In the film that we watched in class, many of the characters portray or represent
something in real life. Starting off with the mice in the beginning of the movie or
Fible s family. They represent a major group of people who immigrated to this
country during the time of immigration, the Jews. The reason that they immigrate to
America is because they are fleeing the cats, and supposedly there are no cats in
America. The reason that they are fleeing from the cats is because the cats represent
oppression and the Russians. The pigeons represent the French and they are building
the Statue of Liberty, in the beginning of the movie. Fible s mouse friend, Tony, is
Italian, and the other mouse friend, she is Irish.
47. Lord Of The Flies Are Humans Good Or Bad
Do you think that humans are good or bad? Throughout history, it can be seen that
humans have not always treated others kindly. Even though some humans act kind,
there are still many ways humans are bad. I believe that humans are bad because of
how they treat each other in the book and how people have treated each other
throughout history. William Goldings novelLord of the Flies shows that humans are
bad through how they treat each other. In the book, the other boys on the island
treat Piggy differently because he is different than the others. For example, he has
asthma, is fat, and wears glasses. The other boys treat him as if he and his opinions
and ideas don t matter. Also in the book, some of the boys fight with each other. For

For example, white people always treated black people differently through
segregation. In history, black people were treated differently because of their race.
They had different places they could eat, separate drinking fountains, and things
for the black people weren t as good of quality as things the white people had.
Another example is that black people would have to give up their seat on the bus
or train is a white person wanted to sit. This can relate back to the Lord of the Flies
because in the book Piggy was treated differently as were the black people. Another
example from history that supports Golding s view that society is bad is the
Holocaust. During this time, many people were murdered and put in prison
camps. This relates back to the Lord of the Flies because two people were
murdered and one kid went missing. Also, in the book, a couple boys were tied up
unless they agreed to do what Jack wanted, which relates back to history because
people were sent to prison camps. I think that humans are bad because in the book,
they treated Piggy differently, just like black people were treated differently than
white. Also, there were two murders in the book. Which can relate to history because
many people were murdered during the

1.Introduction
Women are a very important part of our society. Starting from our childhood when
we are born women as a mother is the only one because of which we become part of
this beautiful world. Then she takes care of you as a mother. As a grandmother she
tells you stories of fairy ghosts. In the childhood when you are not able to sleep she
as a mother tells you Lori so that you can easily sleep. Thereafter in the same
childhood when you commit some mistakes then she as a sister saves you from your
father s anger.
Then when you are young she comes to your life as a wife becomes a very important
part of your life she is with you in your good and bad times. And hence she helps
you in every single step of your life then only you become a complete person.
So women s contribution is very immense in the social economic development of
various communities in the world. Their political involvement may not be that much
in the past but current women s participation in politics all over the world is
witnessing huge increase in leaps and bounds.
In India and other developing countries only a few women are actively involved in
both high level politics and decision making positions. Women s participation in
politics in the developing world is concentrated

Instead, they spend much of this time locating the correct boxes within their truck for
the next delivery. Currently, to find a box, drivers must rely on their memory of the
loading process.
With the help of AR at the distribution centre, each driver will receive critical
information about a specific parcel by looking at it with their AR device. This
information could include the type of goods, parcel s weight, delivery address, and
whether it is fragile or requires specific positioning to avoid damage. The device
could then calculate the space requirements for each parcel in real time, scan for a
suitable empty space in the vehicle, and then indicate where the parcel should be

With efficient and intelligent loading, and with AR devices highlighting the right
parcel for the driver, the search process would be much more convenient and
significantly accelerated at every drop off. This will save the lot of time of driver

53. Natural Gas Must Be A Hydrocarbon Fuel
Although natural gas could be a hydrocarbon fuel, the global warming emissions from
its combustion are much lower than oil.
Natural gas emits 50 to 60 % less greenhouse gas. Considering only tailpipe
emissions, natural gas additionally emits 15 to 20 % less heat trapping gases than oil
when burned in today s typical vehicle
Emissions from smokestacks and tailpipes, however, don t tell the complete story.
The drilling and extraction of natural gas from wells and its transportation in
pipelines, ends up in the leakage of methane, a way more potent global warming gas
than carbon dioxide. Preliminary studies and field measurements show that these
questionable fugitive methane emissions vary from 1 to 9 % of total life cycle
emissions.
Whether natural gas has lower life cycle greenhouse gas emissions than oil depends
on the assumed leakage rate, the global warming potential of methane over different
time frames, the energy conversion efficiency, and different factors
Cleaner burning than different fossil fuels, the combustion of natural gas produces
negligible amounts of sulfur, mercury, and particulates. Burning natural gas will
manufacture nitrogen oxides, that are precursors to smog, however at lower levels
than oil and diesel used for motorcars.
However, despite these advantages, unconventional gas development will have an
effect on native and regional air quality. Some areas where drilling happens have
experienced increases in concentrations of unsafe air pollutants

56. Gender and Sexuality in Culture
Diversity or rather, the lack of understanding diversity may be one of the most
prevalent issues in the world today. Though the World Wide Web has bridged the
cultural gap some, it will never fully or accurately reveal the truth simply because it is
difficult to fully understand cultural meanings from an outsider s perspective. Before
the internet, careers in anthropology and similar fields made information available
through ethnographic readings and studies. A key inquiry anthropologists seek to
answer is the distinction between and role of sex, gender, and sexuality within each
separate culture. Y The Last Manand other ethnographic texts connect culture, its

A more specific type of cultural oppression is what Amazons feel that men have over
women.
Amazons portrayed in Y are an extremist group of women who believe that the men
died for a reason, and they intend to embrace the new freedom and control given to
them by Mother Earth (Vaughan, 96). Subjugation that these women felt from their
male counterpart was apparently detrimental to their lives. In The Sworn Virgins of
Albania , women decide to take on a male status for various reasons such as
protection, avoiding an arranged marriage, and keeping the family name (Young,
253). With all men extinct, the sworn virgins would have no need to exist. According
to Different Words, Different Worlds , men s authority over women is seen through
chivalrous acts such as opening a door. What they believe is in fact happening is that
the man gives the woman permission to walk first, but he can easily take that consent
away just the same, thus confirming he has the control (Tannen, 231). Language is
another tool used to control and belittle.
Language is only fully understood within the context of its culture. After the
Amazon leader is called a cunt by a rebelling girl, she explains there is no longer
offense in the word since the men made society see it in a negative light and
disregard its ancient historical meaning of all powerful (Vaughan, 112). In the movie

Caesar chased Pompey to Egypt where Pompey was beheaded in Alexandria. This is
where Cleopatra met Julius Caesar. She smuggled herself into a rug and snuck in to
his room. Cleopatra married another brother, Ptolemy XV, due to tradition.
However she also became Caesar s mistress and followed him to Rome. In 47 b.c.
Ptolemy Caesarion was born. However the Romans refused to believe that Ptolemy
Caesarion was Caesar s child. She stayed in Rome until his assassination 44 BC. He
was killed by Brutus and Cassius. It was rumored later that Cleopatra helped the
Caesarian party to assassin Caesar. But her world was shattered after his death.
When she was just fourteen years old she met Marc Antony for the first time. When
she met him later in life she saw him as an opportunity for power and fame. She
used her wit, charm, and wealth to gain the interest of Marc Antony. They were later
married in 37 b.c. In the winter of 41 40 b.c. Cleopatra gave Mark Antony her
