Abstract The paper presents an analytic insight into the speed control of a dc Motor
drive using a more stout, prompt and stabilized technique than conventionally used.
The desired dynamics are difficult to achieve with conventional controllers. New
techniques are attempted in the literature to get the desired performance. Here,
Sliding Mode Control a robust and non linear control, is considered. Its
understanding is simple and the performance of the whole drive system is found to
be much enhanced as compared to the conventional Proportional Integral Control
method. In this paper, analysis of the dc drive is done when subjected to different
circumstances of speed variations as well as load variations. It is then established that
the range of speed under which the drive can operate without changing the parameters
of the controllers, is much wider with the Sliding Mode Control.

Today I got to experience giving middle school and high school students flu shots at
Lanier County Middle/High School. I was expecting the students to be nervous and
show signs of intimidation at the sight of the needle. Before going to the school, I
helped the nurse gather the equipment we were going to use, which included, the
influenzaimmunizations, Band Aids, alcohol prep wipes, and gloves. We also
brought colorful pencils and stickers for the students after receiving their flu shot.

Toilet seat dermatitis is a contact dermatitis involving the posterior thighs and the
gluteal region resulting from contact with toilet seats. It was commonly seen with
wooden toilet seats. It is more frequently seen on usage of public toilets where
harsher cleansers are used. Here we describe a case of pruritic symmentric
erythematous eruption over the posterior thighs and the lower gluteal area in a 5
year old atopic boy.

INTRODUCTION:
Toilet seat dermatitis was first described in in 1927 by Mackee who stated that it was
a form of contact dermatitis occurring on the gluteal area and thighs coming in

Women of early to mid 1900 s were oppressed by the man s perfect view of what a
woman should and should not be. Hastily after they were given the right to vote in
1920, men pressured women to stay in the realm of expertise they had already

We Should Invest Our Tax Dollars Essay
INTRODUCTION
I grew up in South Akron, and graduated from Garfield High school. This high school
has meant a lot to the community and the students that attended it. This is not just a
building, but an institution that has turned out a lot of great minds and professional
athletes. Losing the high school in this district would be devastating. I feel that we
should invest our tax dollars in our own city, and worry about the future of our own
child, by keeping Akron schools in the community of Akron.
Purpose
Garfield high along with Kenmore High school have been slotted to be torn down.
There are no dates as of yet to when the projects will start. The removal of these two
public two public high schools would leave the entire southern portion of Akron and
nearby Kenmore without a high school in or near these districts.
Problem
Building the learning site in Kenmore would cause major busing problems. The
city already owns the property of Garfield High school, so why go out and spend
money for property, when you have a property already available? Some people
may disagree and say Kenmore is an excellent choice property wise, and the land is
readily available. I feel that we should invest our tax dollars in our own city, and
worry about the future of our own child, by keeping Akron schools in the community
of Akron.

A relatively small American army in proportion to the size of the nation existed in
1939. That would change with World War II. World War II9 With the threat of a
second world war on the brink of unfolding, senior officers skilled in organization
were on high demand and Eisenhower s organizational skills were his strong suit.
