President Obama wanted to pass a bill that would prevent young farm workers from participating
in farm related activities and chores. Billed as an anti child labor act, the bill was quickly

In preparing for the AMLE 2015 National Conference my intent was to get inspiration, and to find
something I could use in class and also share with co teachers
I m in a unique position in that I teach at an online school, ECOT, and much of what is presented
at conferences applies well to a brick and mortar school, but needs adaptation to work for my
classroom and my students. I knew finding information to meet my classroom requirements might

The energy during the General Session while Marcia Tate spoke inspired me to go to her session

was amazing. She taught the session the same way she was teaching us to teach in our classrooms.
Not only did I realize I use many of the techniques she employed, but I was forced to think about

basics of stock exchange. This learning process can be simple, stress free, and enjoyable in a
gaming environment. This environment allows players to hone their skills through competition
with other players using virtual money to buy and sell stocks based on a real stock market. Each
player can to formulate their own strategy and assess their performance through our user friendly,
web based stock exchange simulator. Through experience, players will gain confidence in their
investing abilities using a variety of stock exchange techniques, which have been implemented in
our software. We hope to make the difficult task of learning to invest in a high risk, stock exchange
