relationship between love and suffering, justice, and the wife who may be at first

stereotypes of what a monster is, de France made Bisclavret, a werewolf, the good
guy, and his beautiful wife, an unforeseen bad guy. The wife in the story Bisclavret
portrays a trustworthy, loving wife, until she reacts quite differently to him being
honest with whom he really is. Her character is the very thing, which makes the
reader reconsider the definition of a monster and the truth about monsters within.

add hydrogen peroxide to beef liver. At first we were just amazed by the bubbling

A nation s ability to fight a modern war is as good as its technological ability. An
English inventor who was of great importance in the invention of the turbojet said
these words. I partly agree with him, as technology is the basis of most aspects of
war. If a nation were to fight a war without the use of technology it would fight with
sticks and stones. Technological innovations in the First World War (WW1) have led
to much of the technology that we have today, ranging form the various weapons
modern armies are equipped with to the radios used for communication. If something
is significant then it has an important influence on a thing, such as an event, that will
happen in the future. In this way, did the technological innovations in WW1, such as
gas, communications and the machine gun, not only have an effect on the outcome
of the war but also have an effect on how our world is shaped today?
One technological innovation of the war was the use of poison gases, such as
mustard gas. The use of gas in WW1 was initially of huge importance as it was
thought to be the weapon to break the stalemate. During the war, Gas was a horrific
weapon, which had the capability to inflict life endangering injuries, but as the war
drew on, the technology for preventing its effects, such as gas masks, were invented
and improved. Gas in the latter parts of the war was not released from canisters but
was fired in gas filled artillery shells, which led to more accurate and devastating

War The Vietnam War was a damaging conflict that left deep scars on all the
people and countries that were involved. About 60,000 American lives were taken
and an estimated 2,000,000 Vietnamese were killed or wounded. That is about 10
percent of Vietnam s population. Many bombs, weapons, and chemical warfare
destroyed Vietnam s infrastructure and land. Not only did this war bring
destruction to Vietnam s physical country, but it helped bring down two
presidential administrations in the U.S., and led to widespread public dissent in
America. The American foreign policy today is still affected by the lessons learned
in the Vietnam War. On November 1st, 1964, about 100 Vietcong guerillas attacked
an American air base in Bien Hoa. This was the first battle of the Vietnam War. The
Vietcong completely startled the South Vietnamese soldiers and the American
soldiers as well. The guerillas launched their attack from the dense jungle. It
consisted of fired mortars and cannons that hit the American base, and the Vietcong
guerillas managed to disappear into the jungle before squads could search for them.
The sneaky guerillas destroyed 6 American planes and damaged 20 others. Their
attack included the killing of 5 Americans and 2 South Vietnamese soldiers, along
with leaving over 100 wounded. More attacks by the Vietcong followed on
December 24th, 1964 and February 7th, 1964 . America sought a peaceful end
