Grade Your Essay
Composing an essay on the subject of "Grade Your Essay" presents a unique challenge that
requires careful consideration and self-reflection. The intricacies lie in the delicate balance
between objectively assessing one's own work and avoiding excessive self-criticism or
unwarranted self-praise.
Initially, the difficulty arises from the inherent bias that a writer possesses towards their own
creation. The attachment to the ideas and the effort invested can cloud judgment, making it
challenging to objectively evaluate the quality of the essay. Striking a balance between
acknowledging strengths and recognizing weaknesses becomes a delicate task, demanding a
high level of self-awareness.
Another aspect adding to the complexity is the need for a critical eye. The ability to scrutinize
one's writing with a discerning perspective requires a certain level of detachment from the
emotional investment in the work. This detachment is not easily achieved, as personal biases and
familiarity with the content can obstruct a fair evaluation.
Additionally, there is the challenge of identifying areas for improvement. While acknowledging
strengths may be more straightforward, pinpointing weaknesses and formulating constructive
feedback requires a keen understanding of the essay's purpose, structure, and the intended
message. It involves a process of self-analysis and the humility to accept imperfections.
Furthermore, the process can be mentally taxing. The constant oscillation between self-
assessment and improvement suggestions demands a significant cognitive effort. It necessitates a
willingness to revisit and revise sections, which can be emotionally draining as it involves
acknowledging areas that may not meet one's initial expectations.
In conclusion, writing an essay on the topic of "Grade Your Essay" is a challenging endeavor. It
demands a delicate balance of objectivity, self-awareness, and critical analysis. Overcoming
personal biases, identifying strengths and weaknesses, and engaging in a process of continuous
improvement require a considerable investment of time and mental energy. It is a journey that not
only assesses writing skills but also challenges the writer's ability to reflect and grow through
self-evaluation.

complexities of self-assessment, it's worth exploring resources likeHelpWriting.net, where a

Symptoms And Treatment Of Coronary Artery Disease
D.L., a 33 year old female with history of Coronary Artery Disease was admitted
with complaints of chest pain. The patient had Percutaneous Transluminal
Coronary Angioplasty or PCTA in 2011. The chest pain started 3 days ago upon
admission and described the pain as 3 out of 10 in pain scale for severity. The
patient stated that the pain feels like a squeezing pain on the chest and no
aggravating factors caused it as she recalls. The patient used Nitroglycerine to
alleviate the pain, which lasted about 4 hours each past several days. The patient also
stated that she was not sick, no fever or chills, and did not experience any nausea and
vomiting.

Nitroglycerine was administered to aid in getting oxygenated blood to heart muscles.
Aspirin was given for antiplatelet effect (Deglin, Sanoski, Vallerand, 2013).
The patient brought herself to the hospital because of the necessity to seek
medical help. The chest pain was not relieved after 3 days when she decided to
drive herself. The statement the patient provided showed lack of knowledge and
awareness of the possible danger she is facing by driving herself to the hospital,
particularly in the possibility of angina exacerbations while driving. The husband
was present during the interview. The husband stated that he did not realized the
pain was that bad. Both patient and family member lack awareness of the situation,
they needed education regarding the recognition of early signs and symptoms of
angina. The husband mentioned having fast foods most days of the week because
of convenience and cost. They find Social and financial awareness should be

cardiologist was suggested. The patient is a social drinker and a 10 pack/years

Inner Conflicts In Ethan Frome By Edith Wharton
In the book Ethan Frome by Edith Wharton, Ethan Frome was imprisoned within a
love triangle between his wife, Zeena Frome, and her cousin, Mattie Silver. Mattie
Silver was who he longed for with great admiration, but he was bound by the
marriage vows with his ill wife. Why had Ethan Frome not just divorced his wife?
One may speculate, and one may contemplate the question of why Ethan Fromewas
constricted by the rules of society which in the end further isolated him from those
he loved. Nevertheless, if he did not follow the rules, he would simply be an
archetype of disappointment among his peers. This conformity divulges the true
internal conflict of not just a man, but a person not using their voice and being
imprisoned by their... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
His inner conflict causes him to withdraw from his relationships and ultimately
become depressed . Mattie never got to fully display her love for him, and Zeena
never got rid of Mattie, the other woman. It only caused Mattie and Frome to later
attempt suicide together. One can see that Frome possessed the ability to
articulate his thoughts, and a mind to initiate opportunities to take action. The
same mind created the negative thoughts of penitence which held him back. As
Frome considers leaving his wife, his inner feelings are conflicted with societal
expectations, His impulses were still near the surface, and he sprang up, re lit the
lantern, and sat down at the table. He rummaged in the drawer for a sheet of paper,
found one, and began to write. Zeena, I ve done all I could for you, and I don t see
as it s been any use. I don t blame you, nor I don t blame myself. Maybe both of us
will do better separate. I m going to try my luck West, and you can sell the farm and
mill, and keep the money... . He then crumpled the letter because he feared future
regrets. One can infer that Ethan Frome wallowed in isolation. The overwhelming
darkness in which he lived could have been alleviated by finding a confidant with
whom he could have sought advice for his

Islamic Church Vs Medieval
No doubt that england had some hard times back in the middle age, lack of
knowledge such as doctors and health care wasn t up to par. If you got the flu or a
stomach bug it felt like death was always a possibility. They never had aspirin or
any form of pain relievers. So just imagine going through a war, and the black
plague is all around you. Spreading to friends and sometimes even family (brothers,
sisters, etc.). Knowledge and the question what if was definitely thrown around a lot,
back in the middle ages, with so many questions unanswered. The Catholic Church
became the one of the most powerful institution of the medieval period. Kings,
queens and other leaders got majority of their power from their alliances and
protection of the Church. Peasants (lowest level on the social chain) across Europe
had to pay tithing (10 percent of their earnings each year to the Church) at the same
time, the Church was mostly exempt from taxation. These policies helped it to gain a
great deal of money and power for their army.
While the Islamic world was growing larger and more powerful. After Muhammad s
death in 632 CE, Muslim armies conquered large parts of the Middle East. At the

In the middle of the 14th century, however, there seemed to be no rational
explanation for it. No one knew exactly how the Black Death was transmitted from
one patient to another according to one doctor, for example, instantaneous death
occurs when the aerial spirit escaping from the eyes of the sick man strikes the
healthy person standing near and looking at the sick and no one knew how to prevent
or treat it. Physicians relied on crude and unsophisticated techniques such as
bloodletting and boil lancing (practices that were dangerous as well as unsanitary)
and superstitious practices such as burning aromatic herbs and bathing in rosewater or
Compare And Contrast Boeing And Airbus
Boeing Vs Airbus
In today s marketplace, distinct differences in the way competitive products work
have become increasingly rare. But functional product differentiation is exactly what
the rivalry between the Airbus A380 and the Boeing 787 Dreamliner is all about:
Two companies with fundamentally different products, based on diametrically
opposite visions of the future, engaged in a Hatfields versus McCoys battle with
billions of dollars at stake.
Each company has made a series of big bets.
The Airbus A380super jumbo is a plane for the annals of aviation history. When it
goes into service later this year, it will be the biggest, baddest airliner around,
capable of ferrying from 550 to 800 passengers (depending on configuration). ...

If Airbus made comparable efforts, we are hard pressed to find the evidence.
The ordeals of air travel after Sept. 11, 2001, make even short flights feel like long
hauls. Did people really tell Airbus that they are perfectly happy to stand in more
lines in exchange for a cocktail lounge? Airbus could not be reached for comment.
Boeing versus Airbus is one of the most hard fought, closely watched marketing
battles out there. It s also one of the most fascinating. Not long ago, it appeared as
if Airbus had gained the upper hand. If Boeing succeeds in winning this battle and
it appears to be well on its way it will amount to one of the great reversals of
business fortunes. It will also serve as proof of the wisdom of understanding the
marketplace well enough to lead, rather than follow.
Airbus
In the summer of 1988, a group of Airbus engineers led by Jean Roeder began
working in secret on the development of a ultra high capacity airliner , both to
complete its own range of products and to break the dominance that Boeing had
enjoyed in this market segment since the early 1970s with its 747. McDonnell
Douglas unsuccessfully offered its smaller, double deck MD 12 concept for sale .
Roeder was given approval for further evaluations of the UHCA after a formal

Pain In Beowulf
Hearing the phrase, what does not kill you makes you stronger, can seem derogatory
after a while. Some might think after a spiritual or physical death, the pain does not
cease to end. In the Anglo Saxon poem, Beowulf, a young man strived for gold, glory,
and honor through battles and boasts. Little did he know, what tried to kill him, made
him stronger. Throughout the poem, a theme reappears quite often. The rise of
characters shadows heart stabbing tragedies and the descend of those heroic
characters flows like a river throughout the ancient poem. Beginning the poem the
audience learns about a festive mead hall where the rich and great come to sing their
story through drunken songs. King Hrothgar ordered the most beautiful hall be built...

Nor was Beowulf s journey the first time it was taken. (1456 1461)
Beowulf s strength never quit until he knew his candle was to cease burning. He
would melt along with his precious sword, meaning the end of the sword s
journey. In the final battle against a dragon, Beowulf used his sword that was
handed down to him in battle. His sword was old, fragile, and thaw, just like him.
His sword that once ruled all of Geatland, now melted in his own hands when he
most needed it. He raised the remaining piece of Nagling, his iron sword and
smashed it into the beast. Sadly, his sword Broke to pieces, as iron always Had in

The great king himself, who once enjoyed the company of a sword, now turned
against it as it has failed him. Many swords are given to different warriors for
protection and for a story to tell. Beowful s sword represented himself. A new sword
provided a new journey, while the melting of his own sword represented his

Citrus Batteries Experiment
The purpose of me doing this experiment is to see which citrus fruit works as a
better battery. From the various types of citrus fruits I chose to used a lemon and
an orange. This is called a citrus battery. I am attempting to charge a holiday light
bulb using a citrus battery as opposed to a traditional battery. I learned a lot of
things from doing this project. One of the most important things I learned is that
citrus fruits can be used as an alternative battery used to light a light bulb. I also
learned that the acid in the fruit gives the power to the nails which transfers its
energy to the light bulb. My procedures are the following:
The first is to gather your materials.

The citrus fruits are the electrical source that provides the acid to produce

negatively charged ions from the fruit to the zinc nail leaving the protons in the
fruit. The light is just to show if the experiment worked or not. It shows you by
simply turning on or staying off. If the light bulb turns on that means that the fruit
battery worked. If the light bulb stays off, that means the fruit battery did work.
Please note that it is suggested for my research that I use a small light bulb and
preferably a colored or opaque (non transparent) bulb for the best results. The micro

The mission honors, Saint Francis Solano, a Spanish Franciscan Missionary in
Peru and Paraguay, also known as Sonoma Mission. It s the twenty first and the
last California mission founded by Fray Jose Altimira on July 4, 1823. It has a
square shape of long structures made of bricks, wood, and tile roofs and formed
into a quadrangle. In one corner, was the church, adjacent were living quarters and
parallel were the workshops, kitchen, and storage. In addition, there were orchards,
gardens, vineyards, fields of grain, a grist mill, houses for the soldiers and Indian
families, a jail, a cemetery, and an infirmary.

Father Altimira transferred to San Rafael and later returned to Spain. After the
independence from Spain, in 1834, Mexico appointed General Mariano Vallejo in
charge of Mission Solano and authorized to turn over the mission to the native
Americans but instead he claimed it as his own property. The town of Sonoma
was growing so was the need for building materials and the settlers used the tile
roofs, timber, and adobe bricks from the mission to use on their own. The original
church collapsed in the early 1830s. So, in 1841, General Vallejo replaced the
broken church and built a chapel as the people of Sonoma built a bigger church
across town. A local businessman bought the mission, in 1881, and used it as a barn,
a winery, and a blacksmith shop. The California Landmarks League bought the

According to the article Examining the Relationship between Financial Issues and
Divorce written by Jeffrey Drew (Utah State University), Sonya Britt (Kansas State
University) and Sandra Huston (Texas Tech University) there are different ways of
approaching economics. Each household not only has to worries about societal
economics but also home economics (being what the family spends money on). The
article states, studies have shown that financial disagreements are more salient to
couples, are less easily resolved, and relate to more problematic conflict tactics
compared to other common disagreements. In other words, couples tend to dwell
over where and how money is being spent. Disagreements in terms of spending can
lead to more problems in the future thus decreasing their quality of marriage and
increasing the rate of getting divorced. To solidify this argument, the article states
couples will focus on and fight about actual financial issues, rather than the
underlying meanings of money. Because money often reflects deeply held values,
both husbands and wives report that their financial disagreements last longer, are
harder to resolve, and are more important to them than other types of disagreements
Even when controlling for other reasons for fighting, there is evidence to suggest that
money arguments among spouses are associated with decreased marital satisfaction

Anthropological Critique Of Davidson Et Al
Anthropological Critique of Davidson et al. (2014) Anthropogenic Nutrients and
Harmful Algae in Coastal Waters
Introduction
With geological experts currently heralding a new geological period, the
Anthropocene (Kolbert, 2011), attention is drawn to the overarching impact of
humankind upon the environment. The article Anthropogenic nutrients and harmful
algae in coastal waters , published by the Journal of Environmental Management,
Davidson et al. (2014) propose that nutrients from anthropogenic sources are a major
contributing factor towards the increasing occurrence of Harmful Algal Blooms
(HABs) in coastal waters worldwide. The authors conclude that the function of
anthropogenically sourced nutrients in stimulating the growth of HABs is dependent
on location, other parameters often regulate the occurrence of algal blooms. The
article is comprehensive from a scientific perspective, accessing quantifiable
parameters from an empirical cause and effect assessment. However, from an
Anthropology perspective, there are various perspectives which, overlooked in this
article, could enrich the understanding and comprehension of the causes of HAB
events. To demonstrate how anthropological perspectives could contribute a more
complex understanding and interpose valuable paradigms to environmental
management models and challenges. The article by Davidson et al. (2014) is
critiqued with regards to the Humanistic Scientific spectrum, as well as the Holistic
perspective as opposed to

Social Media Good Or Bad Essay
Have you ever had a good or bad experience with social media? Have you ever been
a part of a protest that was started on social media? I think that social media is a
good thing because you can have so much fun on it and even make friends on in.
Without that you would be limited to the kids in your neighborhood and in some
places there are not a lot of kids that you can make friends with or they do not live
close so you have to drive there. That is all fixed with social media. Like recently I
have found some friends on social media that I play games with. They are super
nice and without social media I would have never had that experience I would
have to play be myself all the time and have no one to talk to. But now I have the
chance to make friends and have fun with them even tho they live far away. Also
colleges and most jobs look at your social media account to see what kind of person
you are and if you are able to work so not only can you have fun but you can also
potentially make money from it and you can make friends. Things like Facebook are
so convenient to talk with friends or family without that we would need to call them
and that is just so much harder to do then... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...

The Legacy Of The Thirty Years War
The Thirty Years War was an enormous conflict the likes of which Europe had
never seen before. It was a war that destroyed millions of lives. It would be almost
300 years before another European war would be so destructive to the populace. The
war started much simpler than it ended. Long before the end of the war both sides
were exhausted. Despite this, it would take three major treaties to end this
international conflict. These were: the Peace of Augsburg, the Peace of Prague, and
the Peace of Westphalia. These three treaties addressed pressing issues in the Holy
Roman Empireand Europe such as religious tolerance, Catholic Church property,
the sovereignty of states, and the loyalties Protestant Princes owed to the Catholic
Holy Roman Emperor. The only successful treaty: the Peace of Westphalia had a
great deal of influence on European and eventually global politics and peace deals.
This great treaty was a nail in the coffin of the Holy Roman Empire. The conditions
created a weak Emperor and more autonomous German leaders. The end of the
Holy Roman Empire would bring on a new, modern, unified German Empire in the
1800s; First, the Peace of Augsburg was actually the conclusion of an imperial diet
in 1555. It was meant to bring a temporary peace and coexistence of Christian faiths
in the Holy Roman Empire. There had already been a war between the Emperor and
some princes at this time over religion. The Emperor wanted a quick fix to avoid
another war. The document states
Lgbt Orientation And The Lgbt Community
The numerous controversial issues surrounding gays and lesbians, including same
sex marriage, adoptions, and school gay straight alliances, have brought sexual
orientation and homophobia to the front of American social conscience. Although
gays and lesbians seem to be more visible in the United States and media images of
gays and lesbians have become familiar, violence against gays and lesbians continues
to rise and anti gaymeasures are common in the political arena. However the question
that Americans often have is: what exactly is it that the LGBTcommunity wants? The
answer is simple. LGBT want the same chance as everyone else to pursue health and
happiness, earn a living, be safe in their communities, serve their country, and take
care of the ones they love. The main issue concerning LGBT people is coming out ,
which is the process of understanding, accepting, and valuing one s sexual orientation/
identity. Coming out includes both exploring one s identity and sharing that identity
with others. LGBT individuals have to deal with what it means to be different in a
society that tends to assume everyone to be heterosexual and that tends to judge
differences from the norm in negative ways. This process creates cognitive
dissonance within the person. Because society teaches that the norm is to feel
attraction to people of the opposite sex, when a person experiences the opposite
feeling finds him/herself in a state of confusion, discomfort and fear of rejection. The

North West who incorporated digital texts in the classroom. Her goal was not to
add technology to the classroom just to be more relevant or hip, but she added
digital texts to differentiate, scaffold, and accommodate her students. She said, A
thoughtfully designed digital text provides a powerful resource for meeting
diverse learning needs while developing critical literacy skills (Lundy, 2015, p.
101). Lundy added digital texts to her classroom with the help of iPad s and iBooks
Textbooks. Lundy s article starts off with her hesitation to add technology just for
the sake of adding technology. However, she said, Both my teaching and research
experiences have convinced me that a thoughtful and appropriate integration of
technology in the classroom can be a powerful instructional tool (Lundy, 2015, p.
99). I agree with her statement that technology can be used appropriately and
effectively in the classroom. More specifically, I think a developmentally appropriate
digital text can be effectively integrated into the classroom. On top of using
technology in the classroom, Lundy suggests, to spend a significant amount of time
in class to teach safe and ethical uses of technology, as well as basic skills (Lundy,
2015, p. 100). Even though most students have some experience with technology at
home, they may not have
The Incarceration System During The United States
Our incarceration system once pursued two firm yet opposing goals: retribution and
rehabilitation. The Age of Enlightenment spurred an influx of imprisonment
ideologies that soon congealed into a justifiable approach towards criminals. Jails,
workhouses, and prisons aimed to reintegrate lawbreakers back into society but not
before they were punished. The precarious balance between such contradictory
motives unfortunately proved impossible. When did this system, once considered
virtuous and just, become the hallmark of inequality? On September 27th, 2015,
Pope Francis reflected upon this fact during a visit to a Philadelphia jail, It is painful
when we see prisonsystems, which are not concerned to care for wounds, to soothe
pain, to offer new possibilities. This moving sentiment resonated with the American
population, the majority failing to realize that one third of the world s female prison
population is incarcerated in the United States. If the magnitude of that figure does
not astound you, maybe the fact that every 1 in 15 American prisoners are black,
while only 1 in 106 prisoners are white, will. These statistics, reported by Harper s
Index, quantify the blatant corruption of the American incarceration system and the
institutionalized racismAmerica has sustained throughout it s short life in places
where we may not have suspected. Since the inception of the United States, the
government has had one definitive purpose: to protect the people s rights to life,
Marketing Research Tools Paper
Research Methodologies Many companies use different research tools when
conducting primary and secondary research. This paper will discuss the several
research tools used and discuss the differences in primary and secondary research
when using qualitative and quantitative approaches. Once that has been established,
there will be discussion as to which tools are used for each approach and why.
Primary Research Primary research also called field research is the most common
approach. Primary research is surveys, which can include questionnaires and
observation methods. These survey methods include by mail, telephone, e mail and
personal interviews. Questionnaires for research purposes are composed of questions

Looking at exhibit 5.1 below (Mc Daniel Jr., Gates, 2007) this is another example of
Qualitative versus Quantitative research one can see that the types of questions
qualitative research is based on probing to a small sample size and the information
that is being gathered is substantial. Quantitative is limited probing and the sample
size are large and the information that is gathered varies. Requirements for
administration for qualitative is an interviewer with special skills and the analysis is
subjective and interpretive. Hardware is tape recorders, projection devices, video
recorders, pictures etc. Qualitative research requires interviewer with fewer special
skills or not interviewer and the analysis is statistical, summation. The hardware is
questionnaires, computers and printouts. The degree of replicability for qualitative is
low, and for quantitative is high. Researcher training for qualitative is psychology,
sociology, consumer behavior etc and quantitative research is more statistical,
decision support systems, computer programming etc. Type of research for
qualitative is exploratory and quantitative is descriptive or casual (Mc Daniel Jr.,

Guido As A True Hero In The Film Life Is Beautiful
The film Life is Beautiful, tells the powerful story of a Jewish man who uses his
humorous personality to protect his son in a concentration camp. The use of comedy
to
express the evils of fascism and Nazi Germany is effective in conveying the belief that
beauty and light can be found even in the most horrible of places. Guido, the movie s
protagonist, uses his wit and optimistic character to save his family. This movie is
truly
complex as it is a lighthearted comedy, while at the same time a dark drama.
Guido is considered to be a true hero in the film. Through the horrors that he and
his family faced, Guido managed to keep a positive outlook on life itself. Guido s

As the film progresses, the topic of human dignity becomes key to the story.
Guido, Joshua, and the rest of the Jewish community presented in the film were
treated
with disrespect and injustice. Every person has worth and value that cannot be lost or
taken away. Although Guido was oppressed because of his religion, his human dignity
could not be taken from him. Guido knew very well that he was not to blame for the
brutality that he and his family faced. Guido knew that it was wrong for the fascists to
decide when and how the Jewish population would die. Thus, Guido did not succumb
to
the forces that oppressed him. Instead he fought for his life and that of his family, as
Guido knew that it was not worth surrendering himself and forgetting to live his life.
Despite having been a victim of the disaster, which was the Holocaust, Guido
proved himself to be a strong character. Rather than giving in to the oppressive forces
that seemed to dominate the entire population, Guido fought for what he believed in.
Guido took risks in order to make the time he and his family had left
Intramuros a Must See
INTRODUCTION:
Less than an hour away from the hustle and bustle of hectic cities surrounding the
capital of the Philippines enters a whole different world. Before knowing the place
being referred too, it must be kept in mind that if every nation is like a human body
then it must be right to consent that the country s capital city is its heart. Therefore
as it pulses with life, it also pups the same to other parts of the nation body and vice
versa. This is especially true about Metro Manila which itself is made up of several
smaller cities and a handful of municipalities. But this capital, Manila, also has a
heart of its own: one entirely surrounded by stone walls, one that had once dictated
the country s destiny for a long time and city ... Show more content on

Pedicabs can be hired for 100 pesos hour and it can take at least two hours to go and
visit the interesting places. Lastly keeping in mind it is one of the Filipinos ways of
addressing the need for environmental friendly transportation (HealthBridge, 2010).
The third and one of the best ways to tour Intramuros is hiring a Kalesa. Kalesa is
the Tagalog word for a horse drawn carriage which came to light in the Philippines
during the 18th century by the Spaniards. At that period, this mode of
transportation was used only by the nobles and high ranked officials who could
afford it. But nowadays Kalesa are rarely used in the streets and are commonly
seen in famous tourists spots and rural areas. Therefore to bring back the
reminiscences on how Spaniards used to travel around Philippines, it is highly
recommendable to hire a Kalesa while touring Intramuros depending on the budget.
Kalesa are considered to be more expensive than the pedicabs nevertheless it can
accommodate more people depending on their sizes. The price range varies from
350 pesos to 600 pesos for that reason its better to negotiate with the driver/kutchero
before starting the tour as some of them rip off their passengers (Ahab, 2010). These
kutcheros have a quite outstanding knowledge about Intramuros hence the two hour
trip around Intramuros is worth it while riding a Kalesa .
The last and final way to tour Intramuros is hiring a tourists or
The Invention Essay
So You ve Just Come Up With A Million Dollar Idea Now What?
While there is no set formula on how a would be inventor can take their great idea
from mind to manufacturing, there are some things they must be aware of and
some steps they simply must take as they move forward. If you think you have one
of those great ideas, set aside all celebrations for the time being and start taking real
action toward making the idea a productive and profitable reality. Be warned, though:
this isn t going to be easy.
1. Ask Yourself Some Serious Questions
It s very important to keep your feet on the ground, even if you feel you ve
reinvented the wheel in spectacular fashion. An idea itself is worthless until proven in
many ways, but that can be ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
When talking to potential partners, you re likely to get more valuable feedback on
setting up a company, manufacturing, distribution and other important elements of a
startup.
A second (third, fourth and beyond) opinion should provide you with affirmation that
your idea has value, beyond what you ve imagined thus far. These outside opinions
help you to chisel your idea into something with real world applicability. Also, be
prepared for the naysayers, who, although discouraging at first, can also give you
useful information.
3. Analyze Development And Production Costs
It s one thing to create a homemade prototype, quite another to put it into real
production. How much is it going to cost to perfect your prototype enough to
actually manufacture it? How much will it cost to produce each unit and who can
handle that for you? Ideas are typically modified in the development stage, meaning
your original idea may evolve into something different or even spawn two or more
spinoff ideas, equally valuable and worth pursuing.
Although the technical aspects of bringing an invention to the production stage are
tedious and challenging, this is a crucial stage for you and will determine the
economic feasibility of moving forward. You need to figure out who you can trust,
where your startup capital is going to come from and whether or not you should form
some type of company now. Depending on your educational level
Days Of Heaven Analysis
Days of Heaven
This week s movie was Days of Heaven by Terrence Malick. The movie, shows this
one couple (Brooke Adams and Richard Gere) and a child (Linda Manz) finding
ways of achieving ultimate success and walking away from the extremely labor
intensive environment that they were used too. A solution they think of is by trying
to swindle this rich guy (Sam Shepard) by pretending that the relationship that the
couple had was a brother sister relationship. He doesn t their false pretenses and
marries the female counterpart. In addition, the male counterpart heard that the rich
gut was about to die in a year. However, after a year, he still lives and in turn causes
the couple to turn anxious. Succeeding events after the nonexistent death led to
further division among them and the gradually caring for the rich guy. Yet, with all of
these events he dies because of the male counterpart killing him. Anyways, from this
short summary of the movie, the watcher has a chance to view, look, and understand
the actress and actors in certain shots and angles . Some of these shots range from the
beautiful countryside or the raging inferno both internally and externally of the
characters. Days of Heaven by Terrence Malick uses many various shots to help
emphasize and prolong the memory of characters or nature into the watcher s eye.
One shot that really caught my eyes was when everyone was eating in the gazebo.
The shot that was used here was a long shot a shot that includes an area
Richard Frank s Photographic Masterpiece, The

When Robert Frank published his photographic masterpiece, The Americans, his
collection of images was met with widespread criticism. Challenging not only the
documentary tradition and the aesthetic of photography, Frank s blurry exposures
uprooted the very fabric of America. Traveling the roads of the United Statesfrom
1955 1957, Frank took over 28,000 images, depicting every strata of American
society, from the assembly line of Detroit, to the opulence of Hollywood. Overall,
through the lens of Frank s camera, the viewer is given a collection of images,
which directly undermine popular understanding of 1950s America. In a mere eighty
three images, Robert Frank tells a story of renewal and rebirth, of struggles, and
hope, and of the very nature of America.
Emerging from the Second World War, and amidst the Cold War, America during the
1950s, projected itself as a unified country seeking to be the forbearers of Western
democracy. Saturating television, radio, newspapers, and magazines with images of
suburban neighborhoods, wholesome families, and middle class success, society
crafted a sense of conservativity, unity, and safety. However, as seen in Frank s, The
Americans, 1950s America was anywhere near the image it projected itself to be.
Rather than supplying his audience with images of cookie cutter homes, doting
mothers, and loving fathers, Frank floods the viewers minds, with stirring
photographs of violence, alienation, and loneliness. ...he s always taking
Techniques Used For Classify The Models Of Church
Planting
Techniques used to categorize the models of church planting Things that lay
influence on various models used in planting of churches include: one is
denominational ecclesiology, two is if a mission agency or church is carrying out the
actual planting, three is the planting body ethos, four is the spiritual and theological
planting body outlook, five being the direct correlation of factors to the context which
includes a community/area sociological understanding of where the church is to be
planted and six is the planting team size. The terminology employed in describing the
different planting models are divergent and a lot of terms are gotten from the
obstetrics or horticulture world, but others are derived from the military, nautical and
astronomical worlds (Murray, Laying Foundations, 260). Christine groups planting
models in terms of the body performing the sponsoring say the agency, church or any
other body (Robinson and Christine, Planting tomorrow s Churches Today, 126).
Murray defines four historical church planting categories: one is the replacement
planting where it is conducted in places where the church is being closed, two is the
pioneer planting which is done in places where there are no Christian witnesses, three
is the saturation planting that mainly concerns with ensuring that each group of
people that is identifiable has unlimited church access which has relevance on a
contextual basis, and the fourth and last one is the sectarian planting that ensures an

I always wonder how I was unknown to this treasure of art; all those years when I

religions like Buddhism, Jainism, Sikhism which also practice yoga in a certain
way,but it s said that yoga is not a religion; it is a way of living that aims towards a

all. Everyone is eager to learn and practice, so do I. Good thing about yoga is that I

there s no limitation to that. Moreover, there is no need for me to do meditation at a

Why the ratification of the constitution was a good thing
Why the ratification of the constitution was a good thing
The Constitution of the United States is one of the first written constitutions and one
of the oldest to have been made on the national level and applicable today. It was
developed and adopted by the Constitutional Convention in Philadelphia in May and
September, 1787. The Constitution of 1787 followed the adoption of the Declaration
of Independence on July 4, 1776.
The U.S. Declaration of Independence, as the precaution of the U.S. Constitution, is a
historical document in which the British colonies in the North America declared the
independence from Great Britain, which was unanimously adopted by the Second
Continental Congress on July ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
All this together gives grounds to say that the adoption of the U.S. Constitution was a
historic event and played a major role in the development of democracy in the USA,
as well as throughout the world. According to one of its founding fathers and the
third U.S. President Thomas Jefferson, The Constitution of the United States is the
result of adding the wisdom of our country .
The U.S. Constitution was the first constitution in the world, and for its time, it was
an outstanding document. For this reason, the subsequent constitutions could not
ignore the experience of the drafters of the U.S. Constitution. The U.S. Constitution
(including the Bill of Rights) had great influence on modern policy documents: the
Declaration of Human and Civil Rights of 1789 and the Polish Constitution of 1791.
Despite the fact that Polish Constitution (which was the second constitution in world
history but lasted only a year) established a form of government as a constitutional
monarchy, the impact of the U.S. Constitution in this document was found.
Constitutions of Latin American countries that gained independence in the early XIX
century borrowed from the U.S. Constitution not only general principles but also the
state system (structure of executive authorities, in some cases the federal structure).
Almost all countries in Latin America are presidential republics. In some cases,
American lawyers were directly involved in the creation of the constitutions
By The Waters Of Babylon
Being brave and breaking societal norms and being different, even at the expense
of personal reputation, is worth it. By the Waters of Babylon by Stephen Vincent
BenГ©t is a short story about the journey and discoveries of a boy named John.
John is a priest (and the son of a priest) in a primitive society. In By the Waters of
Babylon, John journeys east, even though it is forbidden to do so, and finds a city
that we later learn is New York. This leads to several revelations for John. John is
brave, and breaks societal norms, and is rewarded with knowledgethat can help his
entire civilisation. Being brave and breaking norms worth it.
John is brave and breaks norms when he ventures east. In doing so, he risks be
ostracised by his people. He is also taught that he will be killed by the gods if he
ventures east. This shows John is very brave and courageous, as he risks many
things when he goes east. This bravery is represented in the text by the Ou dis sun
(Hudson) river. John s culture believes that you will be destroyed by the gods if
you cross the river. The river is a definitive line, a mark in the ground. It is like a
mental wall. Yet John summons the courage to cross the river. The river crossing

Pluto s Position On The Solar System
Introduction Pluto s Position in the Solar System Pluto used to be considered the
ninth planet of our solar system, but in 2006 Pluto s planetary classification was
changed to a dwarf planet (Choi). Pluto is located in the Kuiper belt and it orbits
beyond Neptune, which makes Pluto a trans Neptunian object, or TNO (Schneider
and Arny 380 381). Plutos elliptical orbit of the sun takes 248 years, and on average
it is approximately 3.6 billion miles from the sun (Dunbar). Pluto has an extremely
cold atmosphere since it is so far away from the sun. On average, Pluto s
atmospheric temperature is 390 degrees Fahrenheit, or 40 K (Schneider and Arny
380). NASA recently launched a new mission to explore Pluto and its atmosphere
with the New Horizons spacecraft, and we have also learned new information
about Pluto s topography. Pluto has many mountain ranges, lands with deep
craters, frozen plains, and flowing nitrogen ice. The frozen plains on the eastern side
of Pluto are believed to be younger than its deep cratered, western areas. The eastern
plains of Pluto are only thought to be 100 million years old, and the western area
may be billions of years old ( NASA s New Horizons Finds ). Pluto also has five
moons that are being explored as part of the New Horizons mission. Pluto s moons
are: Charon, Hydra, Nix, Styx, and Kerberos all of which have variable spin rates (

From IT Infrastructure to ITaaS
What is the cloud? Many say they are those white puffs in the sky. True, but those
are not the clouds that are referred to in the Information Technology industry. The
cloud that IT professionals speak of is a place that isn t seen but is known to exist.
Dropbox, Box, Google Drive, OneDrive, iCloud Drive; all different types of cloud
storage options for securing your music, documents, and other kinds of files. There
are many different uses for the cloud in the life of a professional. Box, for example,
is mainly designed to share documents and files between users in a more formal

those two products combined help to make cloud storage possible. There are other
companies that are using services and products to make this happen; such as EMC

The cloud is increasingly becoming a very common reality in the IT industry. The
idea of storing files in places other than the hard drive of a computer or the server in
the next room has opened a door for new beginnings and unending possibilities. Many
companies have IT departments that are internal to their company. Without these IT
departments many companies would have many non working computers, networks,
and other office devices that would hinder the business from making money. The
current IT infrastructure is mostly maintained and operated in house by contracted
employees that usually have a great knowledge of general electronics and
computers. Being that IT is so important to how companies work it is always under
scrutiny to continue to develop. With the cloud in mind there has recently been talk
about how IT could use the cloud to advance their efforts. Information Technology
as a Service (ITaaS) has become a new reality for some companies. The idea is that
IT organizations can use the cloud to move away from an Infrastructure platform to a
Service model.
This ITaaS model promotes IT being setup to be much more effective than it currently

offer a low APR or even zero percent APR for the first few months after you use

Another benefit you can get when you go for credit card debt consolidation is

Ratification Of The Constitution Dbq Essay
The people of North Carolina before and after the Revolutionary War seem to have
one opinion. The people thought since they were an independent state, that they
should have their own government system. The people did not want a government
after so many failures. The Article of Confederation had their delegates to draw up
better ways for the Constitution to make the people happy. This only ended up with
people taking sides with the government. The Federalist was supporters of the
Constitution, while the Anti federalist was against them. The Federalist wanted the
government to get the nation and delegates power over the Constitution. The reason
is to have authority over the federal government. The Anti federalist believes that the

North Carolina finally became the 12th state to accept the Constitution that occurred
in 1788. This change of heart was because the Congress told them that they would put
the Bill of Rights in with the Constitution. The people of North Carolina even after
the Constitution was written argued that they still needed a strong government, with
strong economic standards, and centralized authority. They soon appointed
Alexander Hamilton in office as the leader of the Federalist, while Thomas Jefferson
and James Madison were the leaders under the Republicans. Hamilton controlled the
Federalist for twelve years. During that time, Hamilton thought the government
should consist of wealthy men. These men would be capable of having a strong,
stable, and independent economy. Hamilton had problems with the Republicans
when he got the Congress to pass his plans on opening up a National Bank. This
bank was to have a safe place to put their money, provide loans for businesses and
the collection of taxes. Thomas Jefferson believed that Hamilton and his Federalist
group were corrupted, because Hamilton was using his power and causing problems

Maintenance of sufficient nutrition is an essential part of the treatment process for

Germany s Stance Towards Serbia Essay
The issuance of the blank check by Germany signaled not only its understanding
that Austria s stance towards Serbia could draw in Russia, because German
support for Austria against Serbia alone is unnecessary, but more broadly it
demonstrates a willingness and a desire for a conflict in Berlin. Once the
ultimatum, with German support, was sent by Austria to Serbia, Russia was placed
in a predicament: does it abandon its Balkan policy, thus going counter to their
interests and making the Tsar s government look weak domestically, or does it risk
brining on a war with Germany and Austria just over Serbia? Of course, how Russia
chose to act in the weeks that followed may be rightly debated as to whether these
actions were the proper means to seek peace and the dialogue regarding war guilt
does not cease with an admonishment of the Austrian ultimatum. Still, with outrage
over the assassination simply being a pretext to fight Serbia, Austria actively sought
out conflict, aided by the assurance of the blank check. With the dispatch of the
ultimatum to Serbia, Austria and Germany thus placed Russia in a position in which,
to avoid war, Russia felt obligated to acquiesce and act contrary to its interests while
Germany and Austria barreled headlong in pursuit of theirs. Russia s reaction to the
ultimatum and its counsel to Serbia reflect a commitment on their part to preventing
a war. Russia, with its military preparations not fully completed until 1917, did not

Jesuit Values In Daily Life
It was a brisk, late December afternoon in 2016, the last day of a vacation in
Washington D.C. with my family. I was walking towards the capitol along the
National Mall with no particular destination, watching the stage being built on the
capital for the inauguration of Donald Trump. I had campaigned for Hillary Clinton,
and I was still digesting the results of the election, feeling anything but pride for the
state of our nation. Then I saw a sign for the National Archives and, for some reason,
felt drawn to visit. After the short walk to the building and waiting in line, I soon
enough found myself facing the United States Constitution. As I read the faded words,
We The People of the United States, I felt a spark inside. I realized that,... Show more

Learning through the lens of the six Jesuit values will mold me into a better person
and public servant.
In addition to the advantages of learning in a Jesuit community, Georgetown s
rigorous academic curriculum, combined with its location in the District and
diverse community, fosters an ideal habitat to grow as an intellectual and an
individual. It is important to me that I attend a university that challenges me
academically so I am able to gain insight on diverse topics. The opportunity to take
classes in colleges like the Walsh School of Foreign Service and the McCourt
School of Public Policy, in addition to my classes in Georgetown College, would
allow me to be best prepared to make educated decisions on a wide range of subjects.
Hands on experience in the inner workings of the government is the best way to
establish an understanding of the fundamental principles of the politics in D.C., and
Georgetown offers unparalleled access to internship and job opportunities in
government. The opportunity to work in the office of a congressperson or an
advocacy group would provide me with an insight to how Washingtonruns when I
eventually have an office in the capitol myself. A diverse educational environment,
developing empathy for people different than me, is crucial to understanding various
point of views. When people of many backgrounds are represented

Was Andrew Carnegie A Hero Or Villain
Hero or Villain A lot of people may wonder who Andrew Carnegie was as a person.
They may have also wondered if he was a hero or not. In some people s opinion
Andrew Carnegie was not a hero because he did not have the characteristics of a
hero. He was an American industrialist who amassed a fortune in the steel industry.
Then became a major philanthropist, he worked in a Pittsburgh cotton factory as a
boy before rising to the position of division superintendent of the Pennsylvania
Railroad in 1859. Was Andrew Carnegie really a hero ? The definition of hero is a
personwho is admired or idealized for courage, outstanding achievements, or noble
qualities. Andrew Carnegie may have been a hero for the achievements he made, but

The second area in which Andrew Carnegie was not a hero was Money because he
wanted to keep all his money to himself and not share with his workers.
Furthermore, he was a person who was two faced because on one side he didn t
share his money and in the other he paid people to build libraries. Document 7
affirmed that he didn t pay his workers the minimum wage they deserved for their
work. It affirmed that the steel company was the lowest at just paying his workers
a $1.40 per, which is about 40 cents below the highest paid amount. Straightway
this document exposed how Carnegie was not a hero just because he refused to
pay his workers what they deserved. Likewise, Document 10 viewed him as a non
hero because the picture displayed him as a person who was two faced and one
side he was reducing pay for his workers and the other side is giving away money
and building libraries for other people. Right this evidence helps explain why
Andrew Carnegie was not a hero because a hero would not be two faced and would
sacrifice the earnings they made and give it away to a good cause. Rather than
keeping the money to themselves, for themselves. The final area in which Andrew
Carnegie was not a hero was Work Conditions because there was terrible work
conditions for the workers
Suicide Informative Essay
Picture this: One day you get a text message. It s from your significant other. They
say, You have to just do it. You have everything you need. There is no way you can
fail. Tonight is the night. It s now or never (Murdock, 2017). That s what happened
to Conrad Roy III. He ended up committing suicide in his own truck in a parking lot
because of his significant others encouraging words to just do it . What is suicide?
Suicide is classified as the act of intentionally causing one s own death. Let s look
further into suicide: What are the facts about suicide, does bullying cause suicide,
what stressors are associated with suicide, which kids are at higher risk of
committing suicide, are kids talking about suicide but it s going unnoticed, and lastly,

Children in a study in the Netherlands who had been bullied were twice as likely to
have suicidal thoughts, and more than twice as likely to attempt suicide as kids
who weren t bullied . (Blaszczak, 2014) Notably, cyberbullying was even more
strongly correlated with suicidal thoughts than traditional (in person) bullying.
(Blaszczak, 2014) Suicide is one of the most important causes of adolescent
mortality said study author Mitch van Geel, of Leiden University in the Netherlands.
(Blaszczak, 2014) Between five and eight percent of United States teens attempt
suicide yearly, van Geel said. (Blaszczak, 2014) The number may not be that big, but
it is a huge deal to the government and the people surrounding them. The children and
young adults ages nine to twenty one who were victimized were 2.2 times as likely
to have suicidal thought as those who were not victimized, and bullying victims were
2.5 times more likely to attempt suicide, compared to nonvictims. (Blaszczak, 2014)
According to the numbers, it is likely that a person that is being bullied will think

Making difficult decisions show up in life more often than...
Making difficult decisions show up in life more often than realized. These choices
can alter a person s life in good and bad ways. The Bicycle by Jillian Horton is a
story that focuses on a young talented pianist named Hannah. Throughout the story
Hannah deals with the strict teachings of her Tante Rose, which leads her to make
ironic decisions. Similarly, in the story Lather and Nothing Else by Hernando Tellez,
the barber undergoes a dilemma in which he must consider his moral values before
making his final decision. Both stories have a protagonist that face conflicts which
lead to difficult decision making, and in the end leads the characters to discover
themselves. In both stories the authors use the literary devices theme, irony... Show

Horton and Tellez both portray the theme of making difficult choices in their
stories. The protagonist s in each story consider all their options and think ahead
before making a life changing decision. In the stories The Bicycle and Lather and
Nothing Else both Horton and Tellez use symbolism to portray an overall theme of
making difficult choices. In The Bicycle Hannah has her life completely
controlled by her Tante Rose. She has no freedom because she is forbidden to
break the Sabbath in anyway, and due to Tante Rose s previous traumatic
experience with a bicycle, she is absolutely forbidden to ride one. In the end,
Hannah chooses to go against her aunts wishes and rides a bicycle. She expresses
that she wanted to prove she had some control over her own life (Horton 35). The
bicycle acts as a symbol of freedom; from Hannah breaking the promise she made to
her Tante Rose, to having control of her own life and becoming who she wanted to
be from the start. Likewise, in Lather and Nothing Else the barber untimely had a
choice of being a murderer or hero. The razor blade is one of the most important
symbols because it represents his choice of killing the captain or not. This was how
the barber would determine his future. He says, I was stropping my best blade .
(Tellez 346). My fate hangs on the edge of this razor blade . (Tellez 346). This was a
big moral dilemma for the barber, and at this point he was really choosing what kind
of person he wanted to
Urban Poverty in 18th Century America Depicted in Riis ,...
With his book How the Other Half Lives, Riis offers the audience a glimpse into
the unsettling and unnoticed reality of the urban poverty in America at the turn of
the 19th century. Not only he revealed the dark side of the society, he also showed
the urgent need for change. Riis used emotional as well as logical appeal to support
his argument in favor of the need for a social reform. By combining powerful
pictures and detailed annotations accounting the conditions of life in the New York,
Riis made How the Other Half Lives unique and very effective in delivering his
message and initiating a change.
How the Other Half Lives served as a wake up call for the upper and middle class and

Riis shows how society had long turned a blind eye to this less reality. As he
informs the readers in How the other Half Lives, the upper classes had long
harbored fear from the poor. This fact proved very useful for Riis as it gave him
room to use fear evoking arguments to convince the higher class that the social
reform is essential for everyone s good. Riis argued that the ever growing poverty in
America posed a high risk not only for immigrants living in the slums. He
employed statistical data correlating the ever growing poverty with the increase the
crime rate as well as the rapid expansion of tenement, to warn the middle and high
class that poverty is a serious risk for them too. Hi goes on to argue that the cholera
epidemic showed Americans how devastating such widespread illness could be,
especially in urban areas. He warned the middle and high class that the tenements
were the hotbeds for such epidemics and reminded them that such deceases never
discriminate but bring death to the rich and poor alike.
In contrast to his fear evoking ways, Riis supports his case by arguing that poverty
was nurture vs. nature issue rather than one of genetic hierarchy or anything else. In
How the Other Half Lives he write that to certain extent, we are all creatures of the
conditions that surround us, physically and morally,
Senior Stereotypes
In todays society there is the negative stereotype that old aged people are uneducated,
unhealthy, and a liability in the workforce. However this is a misconception in todays
world and the reality is that these characteristics do not necessarily reflect the old
aged population. According to Andrew Sixsmith, director of the GerontologyResearch
centre at Simon Fraser University baby boomers are probably one of the richest and
healthiest generation in human history, as well as being better educated than
previous generations (Luke, 2014). An issue that arises in this article concerning
Canadians is that seniors are looking towards cosmetic surgery to make their physical
appearance look better. It is stated that in this article that this generation... Show more

The activity theory states that staying active helps with aging and well being in later
life (Gish, 2014). According to the news article seniors are smarter about fitness
than they were at a younger age (Luke, 2014). This verifies that seniors are taking
physical activities into consideration when looking towards attaining good health.
Compared to previous generations seniors are now incorporating physical
exercise, social work and other activities to insure good health and a decent
lifestyle. Seniors are getting involved in the community and volunteering. This
allowed them to stay active and also get social interaction with members of their
own or other communities. The article states how Canadians 65 and over
volunteered an average of 223 hours in 2010 (Luke, 2014). This all ties into the
context of the activity theory, which is a way of effectively aging by staying
active. Seniors nowadays are taking physical activities and exercise more serious
than ever before. The article also states how As you get older, exercise becomes a
little bit more intelligent, she says. You re looking at what your body needs and at
different modes of exercise that fit with how your body has aged (Luke, 2014).
The article discusses an individual who at the age of 70 is still teaching yoga classes

The Machiavellian Approach to Management Essay
The Machiavellian Approach to Management
Whether you love him/her or hate him/her everybody has one...a boss. Most
people have their own opinions as to what kind of boss it is that they would like to
work for. Most would probably agree that the worst kind of boss is a new boss.
This is more than likely due to people s extraordinary fear of change and the
unknown. Whatever the reason, the employee always has the option to leave their
position and seek work elsewhere. The same can not be said for subjects of states,
who by no action of their own, were to be ruled by a new prince. Just as varied as the
ways in which one inherits a new boss, likewise new principalities have an
abundance of ways of being acquired. Niccolo ... Show more content on

Adding fuel to an already explosive situation, by making changes to company
policy should be avoided at all costs. However, as Machiavelli suggests that a boss
by birth [has] less need to harm his[/her] employees, thus putting some of the fears
towards the new boss to rest (8).
When a principality is acquired through an acquisition of a non hostile nature, it is the
prince who may have fears. The prince of a mixed principality faces more difficulties
than those of a hereditary principality. Machiavelli suggests that these difficulties
derive from one natural problem inherent in all new principalities: men gladly change
their masters, thinking to better themselves (8). Additionally, the new prince is, out
of necessity, going to offend his new subjects by bringing in his soldiers and
[causing] other countless injuries that are involved in his new conquest (8). These
same problems will face the management of a newly acquired business. Those
employees that are retained will automatically look to better their current position by
less than honest means. Those left over from the old regime may be inclined to steal
from the company out of fear that they may soon be replaced. Thus, endangering the
already financially unstable situation that an acquisition puts a company in.
Therefore, measures must be taken to ensure that the state/company not be lost due to

Wise Blood Character Analysis
Flannery O Connor was a Southern grotesque writer, who wrote about morally
flawed characters appears in her work Wise Blood, which was her first book, and
this would be the first time that the audience would be introduced to her
unconventional style of writing. Wise Blood, like most of her work, would be about
the battle of sin and redemption in some form. This constant battle is faced by a man
named Hazel Motes in Wise Blood. An interesting character to say the least, he had
problems within his mind, how he was raised, and a constant battle with his views
of Jesus Christ. Throughout the novel, Jesus lurks in his mind like a shadow with
no owner, and Hazel is a fish with no pond. With that reasoning, Hazel longs for, as
well as repudiates Jesus... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
Once he realizes the wrong he has done, he does not know how to truly repent, so
he turns to self harm to punish himself for his sins. An article about why he done
that, says, I m not clean and I must pay (Sparrow 1). Hazel has desired Jesus from
his youth, yet he was a rebel, and did not take part in what Jesus had to offer at the
time. Instead, like an article states, Not knowing how to repent with love he
mutilates himself (Sparrow 1). Hazel must believe self harm is the greatest
repentance for Christ, because all he wants to do is glorify God now. His
repentances go to extreme levels, as an article written by Stephen Sparrow writes,
He wraps barbed wire around his chest and again wears his shoes lined with rocks
and glass shards (1). In his mind, he does not think he will ever be accepted by
Christ for what he has done. But truly, he was forgiven, because God is almighty
and loves those people that come to him. Jesus was Hazel s greatest object of
desire. Jesus was always in the back of his mind, even during his stint as an anti
preacher. Such as this sentence from an article, that says, ragged figure who moves
from tree to tree in the back of Hazel s mind (Bolton 1). Throughout Wise Blood
Hazel sets out to deny God because he feels he has something to prove to the world.
Catholicism In America
On January 20, 1961, the first Catholic President of the United States of America was
sworn into office. John F. Kennedy held the office of the president during one of the
most turbulent times in the history of the United States; the Cold War was in full
swing, the Vietnam War was underway, the Civil Rights Movement was gaining
momentum, and America was undergoing a large cultural revolution. Many
important events required a variety of responses, and instrumental in JFK s
administration was his brother, Attorney General Robert F. Kennedy, the driving
force behind the focus on Civil Rights, and impactful in his meetings with the Soviet
Ambassador during the Cuban Missile Crisis. RFK continued his political career
after the untimely assassination... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
Being the third son and seventh child, Robert was largely ignored by his father
Joseph, who focused on the accomplishments of Joe Jr. and Jack, but received
much attention from his devout mother. RFK preformed poorly in school, and was
perceived as an awkward loner. Despite this, he developed a keen sense of personal
morality, and was very devout in his faith. Trained as an alter boy, an action he
carried into adulthood, he attended Mass at his private Catholic school more than
necessary, and stayed after to pray, and invited others to Mass as well. Joining the
Navy in 1943, not deploying in the war, and being discharged in 1946, RFK had
been sidelined from the greatest test of his generation...while other men were
fighting and dying all over the world. a fact that never stopped haunting the man
who valued courage above all else. RFK s strong Irish Catholic faith was evident in
his loving and devoted marriage to Ethel Skakel, and their 11 children. Ethel had
absolute and literal faith in the Catholic Church [that] complemented RFK s devotion,
which was not quite as unquestioning.... In Ethel s purity Kennedy may have found

he worked in politics, focusing on

Grade Your Essay. How to Grade Writing Essays Reason

  • 1. Grade Your Essay Composing an essay on the subject of "Grade Your Essay" presents a unique challenge that requires careful consideration and self-reflection. The intricacies lie in the delicate balance between objectively assessing one's own work and avoiding excessive self-criticism or unwarranted self-praise. Initially, the difficulty arises from the inherent bias that a writer possesses towards their own creation. The attachment to the ideas and the effort invested can cloud judgment, making it challenging to objectively evaluate the quality of the essay. Striking a balance between acknowledging strengths and recognizing weaknesses becomes a delicate task, demanding a high level of self-awareness. Another aspect adding to the complexity is the need for a critical eye. The ability to scrutinize one's writing with a discerning perspective requires a certain level of detachment from the emotional investment in the work. This detachment is not easily achieved, as personal biases and familiarity with the content can obstruct a fair evaluation. Additionally, there is the challenge of identifying areas for improvement. While acknowledging strengths may be more straightforward, pinpointing weaknesses and formulating constructive feedback requires a keen understanding of the essay's purpose, structure, and the intended message. It involves a process of self-analysis and the humility to accept imperfections. Furthermore, the process can be mentally taxing. The constant oscillation between self- assessment and improvement suggestions demands a significant cognitive effort. It necessitates a willingness to revisit and revise sections, which can be emotionally draining as it involves acknowledging areas that may not meet one's initial expectations. In conclusion, writing an essay on the topic of "Grade Your Essay" is a challenging endeavor. It demands a delicate balance of objectivity, self-awareness, and critical analysis. Overcoming personal biases, identifying strengths and weaknesses, and engaging in a process of continuous improvement require a considerable investment of time and mental energy. It is a journey that not only assesses writing skills but also challenges the writer's ability to reflect and grow through self-evaluation. For those seeking assistance with similar essays or requiring support in navigating the complexities of self-assessment, it's worth exploring resources likeHelpWriting.net, where a variety of writing services and guidance are available to facilitate the essay-writing process. • 2. Symptoms And Treatment Of Coronary Artery Disease D.L., a 33 year old female with history of Coronary Artery Disease was admitted with complaints of chest pain. The patient had Percutaneous Transluminal Coronary Angioplasty or PCTA in 2011. The chest pain started 3 days ago upon admission and described the pain as 3 out of 10 in pain scale for severity. The patient stated that the pain feels like a squeezing pain on the chest and no aggravating factors caused it as she recalls. The patient used Nitroglycerine to alleviate the pain, which lasted about 4 hours each past several days. The statement the patient provided showed lack of knowledge and awareness of the possible danger she is facing by driving herself to the hospital, particularly in the possibility of angina exacerbations while driving. The husband was present during the interview. The husband stated that he did not realized the pain was that bad. Both patient and family member lack awareness of the situation, they needed education regarding the recognition of early signs and symptoms of angina. The husband mentioned having fast foods most days of the week because of convenience and cost. They find Social and financial awareness should be emphasized especially with their diet. A collaborative effort of a nutritionist and cardiologist was suggested. The patient is a social drinker and a 10 pack/years smoker. The client stated that smoking particularly is her stress reliever. The client displays addiction with substances. • 3. Inner Conflicts In Ethan Frome By Edith Wharton In the book Ethan Frome by Edith Wharton, Ethan Frome was imprisoned within a love triangle between his wife, Zeena Frome, and her cousin, Mattie Silver. Mattie Silver was who he longed for with great admiration, but he was bound by the marriage vows with his ill wife. Why had Ethan Frome not just divorced his wife? One may speculate, and one may contemplate the question of why Ethan Fromewas constricted by the rules of society which in the end further isolated him from those he loved. Nevertheless, if he did not follow the rules, he would simply be an archetype of disappointment among his peers. This conformity divulges the true internal conflict of not just a man, but a person not using their voice and being imprisoned by their... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... His inner conflict causes him to withdraw from his relationships and ultimately become depressed . Mattie never got to fully display her love for him, and Zeena never got rid of Mattie, the other woman. It only caused Mattie and Frome to later attempt suicide together. One can see that Frome possessed the ability to articulate his thoughts, and a mind to initiate opportunities to take action. The same mind created the negative thoughts of penitence which held him back. As Frome considers leaving his wife, his inner feelings are conflicted with societal expectations, His impulses were still near the surface, and he sprang up, re lit the lantern, and sat down at the table. He rummaged in the drawer for a sheet of paper, found one, and began to write. Zeena, I ve done all I could for you, and I don t see as it s been any use. I don t blame you, nor I don t blame myself. Maybe both of us will do better separate. I m going to try my luck West, and you can sell the farm and mill, and keep the money... . He then crumpled the letter because he feared future regrets. One can infer that Ethan Frome wallowed in isolation. The overwhelming darkness in which he lived could have been alleviated by finding a confidant with whom he could have sought advice for his

  • 6. Islamic Church Vs Medieval No doubt that england had some hard times back in the middle age, lack of knowledge such as doctors and health care wasn t up to par. If you got the flu or a stomach bug it felt like death was always a possibility. They never had aspirin or any form of pain relievers. So just imagine going through a war, and the black plague is all around you. Spreading to friends and sometimes even family (brothers, sisters, etc.). Knowledge and the question what if was definitely thrown around a lot, back in the middle ages, with so many questions unanswered. The Catholic Church became the one of the most powerful institution of the medieval period. Kings, queens and other leaders got majority of their power from their alliances and protection of the Church. Peasants (lowest level on the social chain) across Europe had to pay tithing (10 percent of their earnings each year to the Church) at the same time, the Church was mostly exempt from taxation. These policies helped it to gain a great deal of money and power for their army. While the Islamic world was growing larger and more powerful. After Muhammad s death in 632 CE, Muslim armies conquered large parts of the Middle East. At the peak of the medieval Islamic world it was more than three times bigger than ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... In the middle of the 14th century, however, there seemed to be no rational explanation for it. No one knew exactly how the Black Death was transmitted from one patient to another according to one doctor, for example, instantaneous death occurs when the aerial spirit escaping from the eyes of the sick man strikes the healthy person standing near and looking at the sick and no one knew how to prevent or treat it. Physicians relied on crude and unsophisticated techniques such as bloodletting and boil lancing (practices that were dangerous as well as unsanitary) and superstitious practices such as burning aromatic herbs and bathing in rosewater or
  • 7. Compare And Contrast Boeing And Airbus Boeing Vs Airbus In today s marketplace, distinct differences in the way competitive products work have become increasingly rare. But functional product differentiation is exactly what the rivalry between the Airbus A380 and the Boeing 787 Dreamliner is all about: Two companies with fundamentally different products, based on diametrically opposite visions of the future, engaged in a Hatfields versus McCoys battle with billions of dollars at stake. Each company has made a series of big bets. The Airbus A380super jumbo is a plane for the annals of aviation history. When it goes into service later this year, it will be the biggest, baddest airliner around, capable of ferrying from 550 to 800 passengers (depending on configuration). ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... If Airbus made comparable efforts, we are hard pressed to find the evidence. The ordeals of air travel after Sept. 11, 2001, make even short flights feel like long hauls. Did people really tell Airbus that they are perfectly happy to stand in more lines in exchange for a cocktail lounge? Airbus could not be reached for comment. Boeing versus Airbus is one of the most hard fought, closely watched marketing battles out there. It s also one of the most fascinating. Not long ago, it appeared as if Airbus had gained the upper hand. If Boeing succeeds in winning this battle and it appears to be well on its way it will amount to one of the great reversals of business fortunes. It will also serve as proof of the wisdom of understanding the marketplace well enough to lead, rather than follow. Airbus In the summer of 1988, a group of Airbus engineers led by Jean Roeder began working in secret on the development of a ultra high capacity airliner , both to complete its own range of products and to break the dominance that Boeing had enjoyed in this market segment since the early 1970s with its 747. McDonnell Douglas unsuccessfully offered its smaller, double deck MD 12 concept for sale . Roeder was given approval for further evaluations of the UHCA after a formal presentation to the
  • 8. Pain In Beowulf Hearing the phrase, what does not kill you makes you stronger, can seem derogatory after a while. Some might think after a spiritual or physical death, the pain does not cease to end. In the Anglo Saxon poem, Beowulf, a young man strived for gold, glory, and honor through battles and boasts. Little did he know, what tried to kill him, made him stronger. Throughout the poem, a theme reappears quite often. The rise of characters shadows heart stabbing tragedies and the descend of those heroic characters flows like a river throughout the ancient poem. Beginning the poem the audience learns about a festive mead hall where the rich and great come to sing their story through drunken songs. King Hrothgar ordered the most beautiful hall be built... He would melt along with his precious sword, meaning the end of the sword s journey. In the final battle against a dragon, Beowulf used his sword that was handed down to him in battle. His sword was old, fragile, and thaw, just like him. His sword that once ruled all of Geatland, now melted in his own hands when he most needed it. Each household not only has to worries about societal economics but also home economics (being what the family spends money on). The article states, studies have shown that financial disagreements are more salient to couples, are less easily resolved, and relate to more problematic conflict tactics compared to other common disagreements. In other words, couples tend to dwell over where and how money is being spent. Disagreements in terms of spending can lead to more problems in the future thus decreasing their quality of marriage and increasing the rate of getting divorced. To solidify this argument, the article states couples will focus on and fight about actual financial issues, rather than the underlying meanings of money. Because money often reflects deeply held values, both husbands and wives report that their financial disagreements last longer, are harder to resolve, and are more important to them than other types of disagreements Even when controlling for other reasons for fighting, there is evidence to suggest that money arguments among spouses are associated with decreased marital satisfaction Financial

The article Anthropogenic nutrients and harmful algae in coastal waters , published by the Journal of Environmental Management, Davidson et al. (2014) propose that nutrients from anthropogenic sources are a major contributing factor towards the increasing occurrence of Harmful Algal Blooms (HABs) in coastal waters worldwide. The authors conclude that the function of anthropogenically sourced nutrients in stimulating the growth of HABs is dependent on location, other parameters often regulate the occurrence of algal blooms. The article is comprehensive from a scientific perspective, accessing quantifiable parameters from an empirical cause and effect assessment. However, from an Anthropology perspective, there are various perspectives which, overlooked in this article, could enrich the understanding and comprehension of the causes of HAB events. To demonstrate how anthropological perspectives could contribute a more complex understanding and interpose valuable paradigms to environmental management models and challenges. It would be almost 300 years before another European war would be so destructive to the populace. The war started much simpler than it ended. Long before the end of the war both sides were exhausted. Despite this, it would take three major treaties to end this international conflict. These were: the Peace of Augsburg, the Peace of Prague, and the Peace of Westphalia. These three treaties addressed pressing issues in the Holy Roman Empireand Europe such as religious tolerance, Catholic Church property, the sovereignty of states, and the loyalties Protestant Princes owed to the Catholic Holy Roman Emperor. The only successful treaty: the Peace of Westphalia had a great deal of influence on European and eventually global politics and peace deals. This great treaty was a nail in the coffin of the Holy Roman Empire. The conditions created a weak Emperor and more autonomous German leaders. The end of the Holy Roman Empire would bring on a new, modern, unified German Empire in the 1800s; First, the Peace of Augsburg was actually the conclusion of an imperial diet in 1555. It was meant to bring a temporary peace and coexistence of Christian faiths in the Holy Roman Empire. There had already been a war between the Emperor and some princes at this time over religion. The Emperor wanted a quick fix to avoid another war. The document states

Although gays and lesbians seem to be more visible in the United States and media images of gays and lesbians have become familiar, violence against gays and lesbians continues to rise and anti gaymeasures are common in the political arena. However the question that Americans often have is: what exactly is it that the LGBTcommunity wants? The answer is simple. LGBT want the same chance as everyone else to pursue health and happiness, earn a living, be safe in their communities, serve their country, and take care of the ones they love. The main issue concerning LGBT people is coming out , which is the process of understanding, accepting, and valuing one s sexual orientation/ identity. Coming out includes both exploring one s identity and sharing that identity with others. LGBT individuals have to deal with what it means to be different in a society that tends to assume everyone to be heterosexual and that tends to judge differences from the norm in negative ways. This process creates cognitive dissonance within the person. Because society teaches that the norm is to feel attraction to people of the opposite sex, when a person experiences the opposite feeling finds him/herself in a state of confusion, discomfort and fear of rejection. • 21. The Incarceration System During The United States Our incarceration system once pursued two firm yet opposing goals: retribution and rehabilitation. The Age of Enlightenment spurred an influx of imprisonment ideologies that soon congealed into a justifiable approach towards criminals. Jails, workhouses, and prisons aimed to reintegrate lawbreakers back into society but not before they were punished. The precarious balance between such contradictory motives unfortunately proved impossible. When did this system, once considered virtuous and just, become the hallmark of inequality? On September 27th, 2015, Pope Francis reflected upon this fact during a visit to a Philadelphia jail, It is painful when we see prisonsystems, which are not concerned to care for wounds, to soothe pain, to offer new possibilities. This moving sentiment resonated with the American population, the majority failing to realize that one third of the world s female prison population is incarcerated in the United States. If the magnitude of that figure does not astound you, maybe the fact that every 1 in 15 American prisoners are black, while only 1 in 106 prisoners are white, will. These statistics, reported by Harper s Index, quantify the blatant corruption of the American incarceration system and the institutionalized racismAmerica has sustained throughout it s short life in places where we may not have suspected. Why the ratification of the constitution was a good thing Why the ratification of the constitution was a good thing The Constitution of the United States is one of the first written constitutions and one of the oldest to have been made on the national level and applicable today. The Constitution of 1787 followed the adoption of the Declaration of Independence on July 4, 1776. Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... All this together gives grounds to say that the adoption of the U.S. Constitution was a historic event and played a major role in the development of democracy in the USA, as well as throughout the world. According to one of its founding fathers and the third U.S. President Thomas Jefferson, The Constitution of the United States is the result of adding the wisdom of our country . The U.S. Constitution was the first constitution in the world, and for its time, it was an outstanding document. For this reason, the subsequent constitutions could not ignore the experience of the drafters of the U.S. Constitution. The U.S. Constitution (including the Bill of Rights) had great influence on modern policy documents: the Declaration of Human and Civil Rights of 1789 and the Polish Constitution of 1791. Despite the fact that Polish Constitution (which was the second constitution in world history but lasted only a year) established a form of government as a constitutional monarchy, the impact of the U.S. Constitution in this document was found. Constitutions of Latin American countries that gained independence in the early XIX century borrowed from the U.S. Constitution not only general principles but also the state system (structure of executive authorities, in some cases the federal structure). Almost all countries in Latin America are presidential republics. In some cases, American lawyers were directly involved in the creation of the constitutions

Germany s Stance Towards Serbia Essay The issuance of the blank check by Germany signaled not only its understanding that Austria s stance towards Serbia could draw in Russia, because German support for Austria against Serbia alone is unnecessary, but more broadly it demonstrates a willingness and a desire for a conflict in Berlin. Once the ultimatum, with German support, was sent by Austria to Serbia, Russia was placed in a predicament: does it abandon its Balkan policy, thus going counter to their interests and making the Tsar s government look weak domestically, or does it risk brining on a war with Germany and Austria just over Serbia? Of course, how Russia chose to act in the weeks that followed may be rightly debated as to whether these actions were the proper means to seek peace and the dialogue regarding war guilt does not cease with an admonishment of the Austrian ultimatum. Still, with outrage over the assassination simply being a pretext to fight Serbia, Austria actively sought out conflict, aided by the assurance of the blank check. With the dispatch of the ultimatum to Serbia, Austria and Germany thus placed Russia in a position in which, to avoid war, Russia felt obligated to acquiesce and act contrary to its interests while Germany and Austria barreled headlong in pursuit of theirs.
