toes becomes problematic. Other early symptoms include muscle twitching and
weakness in the arms or the legs. Also, other early symptoms include hand

buttoning shirts or tying shoes. Trouble swallowing and slurred speech can also be
an early sign of ALS. Doctors don t know what actually causes ALS. What is known
