Kianna Briggs created a layout plan for the front cover of her funky house music magazine. She selected an image of a singer holding a microphone that would grab attention due to its bright colors. Kianna used Photoshop's lasso tool to precisely cut out the image and remove the white background. She then placed the edited image onto the InDesign layout according to her plan. Kianna also added the magazine's masthead, which she had to print screen and crop due to download issues. Finally, she included a skyline with varying font sizes to highlight important words and completed the cover with two contrasting fonts, Rockwell and Sans Serif, to achieve a funky look.
