In radio and electronics, an antenna is an electrical device which converts electric power into radio waves, and vice versa. It is usually used with a radio transmitter or radio receiver. In transmission, a radio transmitter supplies an electric current oscillating at radio frequency to the antenna's terminals, and the antenna radiates the energy from the current as electromagnetic waves (radio waves). In reception, an antenna intercepts some of the power of an electromagnetic wave in order to produce a tiny voltage at its terminals, that is applied to a receiver to be amplified.
the modulation of a wave by varying its amplitude, used especially as a means of broadcasting an audio signal by combining it with a radio carrier wave.
The presentation covers sampling theorem, ideal sampling, flat top sampling, natural sampling, reconstruction of signals from samples, aliasing effect, zero order hold, upsampling, downsampling, and discrete time processing of continuous time signals.

The main advantage of wavelet transforms are
1. Wavelet transforms has multiresolution properity
2. Better Spectral localization properity
What is Multiresolution properity:
Multiresolution properity means that wavelet transform used different Scales for the analysis of different frequency componants of any signal .
What is scale:
Scale is inversely propertional to the frequency of any signal
large scale is used for the analysis of small frequency componants presents in any signal Whereas Small scale is used for the analysis of high frequency componants of any signal
What is Spectral localisation
Spectral localization properity means that wavelet transform tells us that what frequency componants are present in any given signal and at time axis where these frequency componants are presents

The frequency spectrum of a time-domain signal is a representation of that signal in the frequency domain. The frequency spectrum can be generated via a Fourier transform of the signal, and the resulting values are usually presented as amplitude and phase, both plotted versus frequency.
Cyclostationary analysis of polytime coded signals for lpi radarseSAT Journals
Abstract In Radars, an electromagnetic waveform will be sent, and an echo of the same signal will be received by the receiver. From this received signal, by extracting various parameters such as round trip delay, doppler frequency it is possible to find distance, speed, altitude, etc. However, nowadays as the technology increases, intruders are intercepting transmitted signal as it reaches them, and they will be extracting the characteristics and trying to modify them. So there is a need to develop a system whose signal cannot be identified by no cooperative intercept receivers. That is why LPI radars came into existence. In this paper a brief discussion on LPI radar and its modulation (Polytime code (PT1)), detection (Cyclostationary (DFSM & FAM) techniques such as DFSM, FAM are presented and compared with respect to computational complexity.
Keywords—LPI Radar, Polytime codes, Cyclostationary DFSM, and FAM

June 3, 2024 Anti-Semitism Letter Sent to MIT President Kornbluth and MIT Cor...Levi Shapiro
Letter from the Congress of the United States regarding Anti-Semitism sent June 3rd to MIT President Sally Kornbluth, MIT Corp Chair, Mark Gorenberg
Dear Dr. Kornbluth and Mr. Gorenberg,
The US House of Representatives is deeply concerned by ongoing and pervasive acts of antisemitic
harassment and intimidation at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT). Failing to act decisively to ensure a safe learning environment for all students would be a grave dereliction of your responsibilities as President of MIT and Chair of the MIT Corporation.
This Congress will not stand idly by and allow an environment hostile to Jewish students to persist. The House believes that your institution is in violation of Title VI of the Civil Rights Act, and the inability or
unwillingness to rectify this violation through action requires accountability.
Postsecondary education is a unique opportunity for students to learn and have their ideas and beliefs challenged. However, universities receiving hundreds of millions of federal funds annually have denied
students that opportunity and have been hijacked to become venues for the promotion of terrorism, antisemitic harassment and intimidation, unlawful encampments, and in some cases, assaults and riots.
The House of Representatives will not countenance the use of federal funds to indoctrinate students into hateful, antisemitic, anti-American supporters of terrorism. Investigations into campus antisemitism by the Committee on Education and the Workforce and the Committee on Ways and Means have been expanded into a Congress-wide probe across all relevant jurisdictions to address this national crisis. The undersigned Committees will conduct oversight into the use of federal funds at MIT and its learning environment under authorities granted to each Committee.
• The Committee on Education and the Workforce has been investigating your institution since December 7, 2023. The Committee has broad jurisdiction over postsecondary education, including its compliance with Title VI of the Civil Rights Act, campus safety concerns over disruptions to the learning environment, and the awarding of federal student aid under the Higher Education Act.
• The Committee on Oversight and Accountability is investigating the sources of funding and other support flowing to groups espousing pro-Hamas propaganda and engaged in antisemitic harassment and intimidation of students. The Committee on Oversight and Accountability is the principal oversight committee of the US House of Representatives and has broad authority to investigate “any matter” at “any time” under House Rule X.
• The Committee on Ways and Means has been investigating several universities since November 15, 2023, when the Committee held a hearing entitled From Ivory Towers to Dark Corners: Investigating the Nexus Between Antisemitism, Tax-Exempt Universities, and Terror Financing. The Committee followed the hearing with letters to those institutions on January 10, 202
The French Revolution, which began in 1789, was a period of radical social and political upheaval in France. It marked the decline of absolute monarchies, the rise of secular and democratic republics, and the eventual rise of Napoleon Bonaparte. This revolutionary period is crucial in understanding the transition from feudalism to modernity in Europe.

2024.06.01 Introducing a competency framework for languag learning materials ...Sandy Millin
http://sandymillin.wordpress.com/iateflwebinar2024
Published classroom materials form the basis of syllabuses, drive teacher professional development, and have a potentially huge influence on learners, teachers and education systems. All teachers also create their own materials, whether a few sentences on a blackboard, a highly-structured fully-realised online course, or anything in between. Despite this, the knowledge and skills needed to create effective language learning materials are rarely part of teacher training, and are mostly learnt by trial and error.
Knowledge and skills frameworks, generally called competency frameworks, for ELT teachers, trainers and managers have existed for a few years now. However, until I created one for my MA dissertation, there wasn’t one drawing together what we need to know and do to be able to effectively produce language learning materials.
This webinar will introduce you to my framework, highlighting the key competencies I identified from my research. It will also show how anybody involved in language teaching (any language, not just English!), teacher training, managing schools or developing language learning materials can benefit from using the framework.

Frequency spectrum of periodic signal..

Subject:-SS
Topic :- Frequency spectrum of periodic
signal..
2. Representation of periodic signals:
Frequency spectrum of periodic
signal..
Spectrum : The entire range over which some
measurable property of a physical system can vary,
such as a frequency of sound , the wavelength etc. Its
also called as a graphic or photographic representation
of such measurable range..
3. Frequency Domain Representation
All the signal till now were drawn with respect to time.
That representation of signal with respect to time is
called as its time domain representation.
The time domain representation of the signal is not
sufficient for its analysis. Hence we have to use the
frequency domain representation of the signal for the
sake of analysis.
4. In the frequency domain representation , the variable
plotted on the X-axis is frequency “f” rather than “t”.
The signal represented in the frequency domain is
called as the line spectrum. The line spectrum consists
of two graphs mainly.
5. 1. Amplitude spectrum: A graph of amplitude on Y-axis
versus frequency on X-axis.
6. 2. Phase Spectrum : A graph of phase on Y-axis versus
frequency on X-axis.
7. The signal x(t) and its line spectrum is show in above
fig.
The graph of Instantaneous signal voltage plotted on
y-axis versus time plotted on X-axis is called as time
domain representation.
The time domain representation gives us the following
information:
8. 1. Shape of the signal
2. Its frequency
3. Type of the signal (periodic or nonperiodic )
4. One cycle peroid
But we do not know anything about what frequency
components are present and in what proportion they
have been mixed in order to obtain the particular
shape of signal.
9. All this information can be obtained from the line
spectrum of a signal.
Line spectrum is the representation of the same signal
x(t), now in the frequency domain.
It can be obtained by using either Fourier series or
Fourier Transform. It consists of the amplitude and
phase spectrum of the signal.
10. The line spectrum indicates the amplitude and phase
of various frequency components present in the given
signal. The line spectrum enables us to analyze and
synthesize a signal….
