Font Explanation
The font is one of the biggest elements of the presentation of
my research and I recognize the importance of getting the
font right as it advertises and promotes my final products,
planning and construction sections of my project. I needed
to make sure that not just the font fit the theme and style but
also the color of the text.
Very early on in the process I started to research in to how
artists websites and social media pages used the style
though their images, theme/design and text/font.
Obviously during the research stage I did not have a band
name or song as I was researching different videos, as soon
as I found what band and song I was going to go with I
started the font experiment.
The video is about loosing someone that you really care
about this links with key elements in the songs meaning
about rolling fog – that dark times or moments can just come
in (roll in) to your life at any time and that nobody goes
though life always happy and comfortable, that there is
always something around the corner that will effect you. It is
this deep meaning that I would have to try and convey over
in the font. The meaning behind my video is to take that
same story but to show the difference between light and
dark, the digipak and advert includes text in a way that
shows this, the font is very sharp and bold in order to show
the harshness of life and this style of font is something that I
have included in all my final products. In terms of the font
color I have used both orange and blue in order to show
continuity from by video as the orange is suppose to
represent the sun and the blue is there to represent the
water and cold foggy air (both elements are apparent in the
video)
Overall I do feel that the font and font color that I have used
is relevant to the meaning and style of my genre and song.

These are some of the designs for the title logo; they all
follow the same sort of design as when I have had a look at
the bands title image on a load of different sites including
official websites. Below are some of the logos that I have
found across online websites.
I got the images from the official site, fan sites and album
covers, the images I got from the official keane products are
very much the same and that is what I have tried to replicate
in my title.

The meaning behind my video is to take that same story but to show the difference between light and dark, the digipak and advert includes text in a way that shows this, the font is very sharp and bold in order to show the harshness of life and this style of font is something that I have included in all my final products. In terms of the font color I have used both orange and blue in order to show continuity from by video as the orange is suppose to represent the sun and the blue is there to represent the water and cold foggy air (both elements are apparent in the video)
  • 2. Overall I do feel that the font and font color that I have used is relevant to the meaning and style of my genre and song. KEANE KEANE KEANE KEANE These are some of the designs for the title logo; they all follow the same sort of design as when I have had a look at the bands title image on a load of different sites including official websites. Below are some of the logos that I have found across online websites. I got the images from the official site, fan sites and album covers, the images I got from the official keane products are very much the same and that is what I have tried to replicate in my title.
