I've used colours especially on my artists website and digipack I used black and yellow as
my brand colours as they are my artist favourite colours and as stated in some of my
other evaluations I want to show the artists personality and allow the audience to fell as
if my artists personal brand has been thought into and not just used. I also choose these
colours be cause as well as being my artist favourite colours they worked together very
well on both my website and digipack. I also used these colours because I knew that they
would stand out especially for by digipack because if it was in a shop I would want my
target audience to be attracted to it so they would want to buy it. The use of colours are
very effective to tie in the ancillary tasks as they allow the audience to associate those
colours with the artist
BRAND IDENTITY- COLOURS
Unfortunatly because of the limited font types on Weebly I couldn’t find text that would
exactly match my Digipack so I decided that I would go with an urban type of font that
looked similar to graffiti which I felt would fit in with the urban locations on the photo
page of the website, the images on the website and the urban locations in the music
video. I choose a capital letters font so that it would grab that audiences attentions so
that they know that the digipack is for an urban located R&B artist. On my artist
website her name is at the top in a signature font as I wanted to give it a personal touch.
The brand identity for the font isn't as effective as the colour of the variety of fonts
BRAND IDENTITY- FONT
The locations used in the main and ancillary task allow it audience to know that they
belong to the artist. Urban locations are used to tie all of the task together because they
all have images which show the urban location. The website and digipack are tied in
together because they have images of the photoshoot which we had this also allowed us
to make all our products look realistic and not look like we just took pictures when we
went to film the music video which we was something we didn’t do as you can see
because of these professional studio photos that we took
LOCATIONS
The name of the album and the single is one of the way in which my three media
products successfully combine as the name of the album and the single will be something
that will stay in the audiences head and will allow them to realise that the music video,
the website and the digipack belong to that artist because of the name of the album. I
chose to name the album after the single as it is something that is done a lot with
albums and it makes sure that people know that this is the new single and album from
Cymphonique.
ALBUM AND SINGLE
The most obvious way in which my products combine is the artist name because I use
their name on all three of my products it allows the audience to realise that these
products belong to her because they have her name on. The artist name is also used so
that an artists fans can identify their name with their products
ARTIST NAME
