The longest a captive born Orca has very lived is twenty five years (Rose, 3). The average life expectancy is six
years in captivity. Eighty six percent of 135+ whales in captivity since 1961 are now dead (KIWE, 3). SeaWorld, one
of the most famous marine parks exhibiting Orca whales, has experienced approximately one Orca death a year since
beginning their breeding program. It is reasonable and logical to expect at least a third of all captive whales to still
be alive today considering the number of males and females, years since the first Orca entered captivity, and life
expectancies in the wild, but only twenty percent is still living. The most parsimonious explanation for this failure to
show improved survivorship, despite the effort by Oceanaria to advance husbandry techniques in the past forty five
years, is that Orcas are inherently unsuited to confinement (Rose, 3). Not only are Orcas far too intelligent to be held

Both of the poems that I previously mentioned are focused around interpreting the term hope. As seen in the
paragraphs before, it is easy to interpret the word in different ways, and that is precisely what these two poems are
doing. Although both poems take their own approach to the word hope and do not share the same structure, there are
some consistencies between each author s interpretation. Both the poems by Sophia White and Emily Dickinson are
centered around hope, however, the interpretations are very different, using symbols, metaphors and the structure of

common over the years is Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder, or ADHD. This disorder is diagnosed to

seem to be young or adolescent, and the numbers are continuing to increase. Due to the increase in numbers, many
alarmed parents are quick to jump to giving their kids medication. This method is quite controversial and has some

I caused myself to miss out on a possible great experience with music. Since the start of 2016, a new rap era called
Mumble Rap caused a spur of people to spew their dislike of rappers who predominately used adlibs in their songs

s writing presents a variety of elements related to Mappō, which, through the concept of mujō, shows the

simplicity, isolation, and religion, specifically Buddhism and the Lotus Sutra, Hōjōki shows this disastrous fleeting
through a calm, poetic, narrative voice. This paper will argue that themes of nature are connected to the idea of the
subjective self, through impermanence, and studies how Chōmei s worldview affects his perspective on nature and

The larger animals seemed to go quietly about their business but the animal that caught my attention was the adult

oxygen was forced out, but while in space the tanks did not need to be emptied. Heaters were located in the tank in
order to heat the inside of it to keep the oxygen flowing and this would only be used for short periods of time. The
plan was to use these heaters to essentially boil off any excess oxygen, this would then need 8 hour of 65 volt DC
power. The thermostatically controlled switches on the heater were only made for 28 volt DC power so this led
people to believe they were damaged from that mistake. This would then cause the switches to weld shut meaning
the temperature would rise over 1000 degrees F inside the tank.
