2. • The media product represents a particular social
group. The particular social group I feel it
represents is women from the age of 25-30, but
then I feel it targets a group from 16-20 also with
the models I have used.
• I feel the representation is of a social group
who will listen to country music. They would
wear light coloured clothing because of the
artists they listen to and their clothes they wear,
e.g. light blue jeans, plaid shirts, cowboy boots,
etc…
3. • I feel they will be a positive social group, and a
friendly social group who share gossip on
upcoming gigs, country artists, etc...
• I think there would be a small social group
of this representation within Britain, as more
British people’s favourite music is pop and
RnB. However, I feel it would represent a big
social group in America, as a lot of people in
America listen Country and Western Music.
4. • The media product represents this social group as
it is a country music magazine. The social group it
targets will favourite country music as that is the
genre of the music magazine.
• The body language of the models are
confident, or shy but confident, which represents
this social group as I have tried to use the poses
of certain artists. For example, this is an example
of a shy but confident country artist to my artist.
