4. • During the construction, I used the crop tool. The
crop tool allowed me to crop any detail that I did
not want, and to focus on a certain aspect of the
image. I did this for the female model.
• I also put it into a grey scale to make the picture
of the female model into black and white.
• I used the saturation button also to make some
pictures stand out.
5. • InDesign CS6

Being new to the programming of InDesign it was a
completely new opportunity for me to learn how to use it,
and how to design my work. I used it on a windows laptop.
• Using InDesign gave me an incline on what effort and work
goes into making a magazine, and the software used to make
the magazines that we purchase. I did however, felt a
weakness within InDesign was it took me a while to get used
to it, and even now I'm not fully used to the software. I did
find it, though, extremely useful and interesting throughout
the whole process and construction of the magazine, and it
was something I enjoyed.

6. • PowerPoint
•
• I have used PowerPoint for several years now,
but have learnt extra skills such as moving a
picture to the front or the back of the slide
whilst evaluating. I enjoyed using PowerPoint
and found it an extremely useful thing to use
during the evaluation on Question 1.
