3. Description of target social
group:
My target social group are aged
between 18 to 25. They would be
mainly male but some may be female.
Their personality would be quite
laidback and relaxed but they would
also be quite edgy. They would be
largely interested in music especially
the varieties of live music.
4. How my product represents
my target social group:
I asked someone who would be part of the target social
group how they think the pieces represent them and
whether they think I have represented them well and this is
what they said:
‘Throughout the girl seems laidback, down to earth and quite
edgy and that is the look we like to go for. Its is also centres
around music which is mine and all my mates favourite
thing. All the alt rock music we like seems to be included. I
particularly like the sound of the top 10 festivals of this
summer – that is something I would defiantly be interested
in reading. The competition for V fest tickets stands out too
– I would love to go there and I would definitely be
interested in winning tickets. And, yes based on everything
that I have seen I would say your magazine represents us
well.’
5. In conclusion...
I feel that my magazine represents the
target social group well as it is solely
music centred and it keeps them up to
date with information about new
releases, gigs, festivals etc which is
what they would wan to know about
