For the second activity, students searched newspaper envelopes to find matching halves of bugs and then labeled the parts of the insects in pairs. Both trainees provided excellent support to students. The lesson was well organized and followed the lesson plan, developing the topic of bugs creatively through meaningful activities that motivated the students. While Mariel's teaching stance was good, she needs to work on controlling student discipline more firmly. Overall, it was an excellent example of child-friendly pedagogy.

I have been teaching secondary school for many years, but this experience taught me a lot. The aims of this teaching period were quite challenging as I had limited time but was asked to cover a wide range of topics, finish a novel, and contextualize new topics. I had to find ways to introduce new elements like ICT and articulate my teaching with the course teacher. While students participated, some preferred doing activities without class involvement. Overall it was a constructive experience that confirmed teaching is my vocation, though there were challenges in managing student fatigue and motivation towards the end of the year.

I have been teaching secondary school for many years, but this experience taught me a lot. The aims of this teaching period were quite challenging as I had limited time but was asked to cover a wide range of topics, finish a novel, and contextualize new topics. I had to find ways to introduce new elements like ICT and articulate my teaching with the course teacher. While students participated, some preferred doing activities without class involvement. Overall it was a constructive experience that confirmed teaching is my vocation, though there were challenges in managing student fatigue and motivation towards the end of the year.
Lesson 4
This lesson plan is for a 5th grade English class with 23 students at an elementary level. The goals of the lesson are to raise awareness of body parts, develop speaking skills describing pets, and develop writing skills by writing fact files about animals. The lesson follows a PPP approach integrated with CLIL and includes speaking, listening, and writing skills practice. 3) At the end of the lesson, the teachers discussed the importance of addressing bullying and promoting tolerance, as their role goes beyond just teaching English.

Reflection on my practicum experience
The student completed their teaching practicum at a primary school and had a very positive experience. They were extremely nervous at first but found their partner teacher to be a great model who helped them feel more comfortable. While there were some challenges like having a soft voice, they learned to manage issues in the classroom well. Working with their partner teacher was the best part, as they planned lessons and supported each other. They felt the mentor teacher was mostly helpful but not as warm as expected, while the vice principal welcomed them kindly each week. Overall, the practicum experience fulfilled the student and helped build their confidence in teaching small children.

'The silent way'
The Silent Way is a language teaching method developed by Caleb Gattegno in 1963 that aims to minimize teacher talking time and maximize student talking time. Fecha.17/08/2017 Mara started the lesson by greetingstudents and giving them their name badges.Suggestion: you could appoint helpers to do this, as it took quite a long time. She usedEnglishall the time:Doyou have the book?Page 26. She wrote the date on the board and page number.(*) Please try to specify whatkind of activity it is. Otherwiseit is too abstract for pupils. She monitored the class to check that everyone had the book. For the firstactivity, they listenedtoa poem. Her voice wasloudandclear as she providedthe instructions. For the poem, creepy bugs, Mariel as a pedagogical partner managed the sound system. Mara focused on pronunciation through repetition. Then, she organized role-play reading of the poem which was very nice. For the second activity, they played a game. I must highlight the trainees´ creativityto design thisgame,inwhichpupilshadto findthe otherhalf of a bug inside newspaperenvelopes.They ahd to do that quietly in one minute. Mara’s instructions were so clear; she raised her hand to call their attention. After they had foundthe otherhalf of the bug, traineespromptedinteractioninpairs.Pupilshadto write the namesof the parts of the body in theirinsects. So studentswere revisingandintegratinglexis about names of bugs and parts of the body. Team workwas excellentandboth traineesprovidedsupportaschildrenaskedquestionssuch as How do you say legs or eyes? Then,theyhangedthe beautifulleafletsasif itwere awashingline overone of the blackboards for everyone to see. It was a perfect idea to show pupils’ completed work. For the third activity, theyprovidedaword search. Pupilshadto find4 school subjects,4 days of the week and 4 bugs. Mara used the board for drawing lines representing ACROSS AND DOWN in the word search. The activity was great for fast finishers.
- 2. Mara’s teacher’sstance wasexcellent.She issweetbutfirmasshe explains.Whilethe stduents were working she was tidying up the room to make it clean. Then, she presented the fourth activity, which was a model to complete a description: The dragonfly. It is black, yellow and blue. It has got four wings. It can fly. Of course, there was not enough time to complete it. My suggestion is that they write this activitybasedonthe leafletstheyproducedandpresentthemorally.Itwouldbe anice formof formative assessment as they are integrating everything they have studied in the unit. Transitions between one activity and the next, as well as checking the last two tasks could be improved but on the whole, this was an excellent example of child-frinedly pedagogy. There was inputprovided by a listening;there were games,integrationof lexis withina topic anda variety of activities that made children learn a lot in only one lesson.
