1. Miriam's first teaching practice in kindergarten gave her a lot of material to analyze and evaluate as it was her first time teaching at that level in a new learning environment. 2. The goal was to apply what she learned about teaching techniques, psychology, grammar, phonetics, and pedagogy. It tested her ability to design age-appropriate lesson plans and activities for young learners. 3. She believes the children had fun and learned new vocabulary about moods, colors, shapes, and family through interactive materials and games, though scaffolding learning was challenging and she sees opportunities to improve.

ThinkingbackI have the feelingthatthisfirstpractice periodgave me alot of input to analyze and
evaluate. It was my first time in kindergarten level therefore it was also a new learning
environment to me.
The aim of this experience to me was to put in practice everything we have learnt thorough the
career, teaching techniques, literature, psychology, grammar, phonetics, tics, and pedagogy
between others. It is the moment of the truth when we have to be able to think about activities
according to our students ‘level, designing lesson plans and put them in practice with young
learners.
To start with I think I should make a reflexion about my performance as a kindergarten teacher
and about the materials, strategies and resources I chose and if those were significant to my
students.Ibelieve childrenhadagoodtime withme.By the endof the practice, five classes later,
theyhad introducedsome newvocabularyaboutmood (Alsocolors,shapes and family). We used
to practice that vocabulary every classes as a warm up game and we had fun every time. The
material Iproducedforthemwas verymotivatingbecause theycouldtouchit,playwithit, wear it
and have a visual register of the lesson.
Thinking forward there are some things that I think I have to do better to improve my teaching
performance. Forexampleif Icoulddothis periodagainIwouldlookfor more informationrelated
to kindergartenteachingstrategies.Youngchildren learn different from adults and adolescent in
the way that they need more visual activities. Scaffolding their learning experience was a big
challenge for me. It was also an enriching experience that gave me the opportunity of working
within new scenarios.
ThinkinginwardsIbelieve thiswasaverydemandingandstressfulperiodwhichrequiredfrom me
to put inpractice almosteverythingIhave learntduringmycareer.I had to open again my folders
from infant psychology and literature between others. In general terms I am satisfied with my
performance although I believe I can do it better. I can always improve my performance as an
educator and this will be my challenge during my whole life.
