Teaching Approach: The lesson is based on the Communicative approach
organized through the PPP procedure
Materials and resources: audio, picture, class´s book , clay, pencils colors,
color paper
Seating arrangement: Students are seating in groups
Cooperative work: Cooperative work is a challenging aim at this stage
because children of this age are not used to listening to and accepting other
opinions, it is an everyday work. For this class students will re requested to
perform some number draws in groups.
Possible problems/ difficulties and their possible solutions during the
class: They may not understand the storytelling. This first grade course is a bit
noisy and it takes some time to be quiet in silence therefore for what I have
watched I think I will have to be patient and persistent to improve their
behavior. Collaborative work might be a bit challenge for this group however
they have completed group tasks
Potential problems students may have with the language: They might not
understand the instructions in the target language and the new vocabulary.
They might not understand the significance of the numbers and quantities.
There might be too much vocabulary for them to store in their memory.
