1. Essays Short Summary Of Hamlet
Crafting an essay on the condensed summary of Hamlet is a challenging endeavor that demands
a profound understanding of Shakespearean literature and the ability to distill the intricate plot,
characters, and themes into a concise yet comprehensive narrative. Hamlet, being a complex
tragedy, is rife with layers of meaning, intricate character relationships, and philosophical
nuances that necessitate careful analysis.
Writing such an essay requires a keen analytical eye to identify the pivotal moments in the play,
condense the intricate dialogue, and highlight the crucial character developments. The challenge
lies in striking a balance between brevity and depth, ensuring that the essence of Hamlet is
captured without losing the richness of its narrative.
Moreover, the task involves interpreting Shakespearean language and deciphering the intricate
emotions and motivations of the characters. It demands a deep dive into the psychological
complexities of Hamlet himself and the interplay of various elements in the tragedy.
In addition to the literary analysis, one must navigate through the critical interpretations and
scholarly discussions surrounding Hamlet. Engaging with different perspectives and weaving
them into a coherent essay adds another layer of complexity to the writing process.
While it may be challenging, the essay also offers an opportunity to explore the timeless themes
that Hamlet presents, such as the nature of revenge, the complexities of human psychology, and
the consequences of inaction. Successfully encapsulating these profound elements in a short
summary requires not only literary prowess but also a thoughtful and nuanced approach.
In conclusion, writing an essay on the abbreviated summary of Hamlet is a demanding task that
requires a careful balance of literary analysis, interpretive skill, and a deep understanding of
Shakespearean themes. It is a journey through the intricacies of one of the greatest works of
literature, demanding the writer's utmost attention and diligence.

2. Federal Government Expansion of Authority
Introduction The role of the institution has grown tremendously over the centuries
ever since the founders of the United States desired a Federal Government with
limited powers whose aim was primarily concerned with promoting the civil liberty of
the Americans. According to Savage (2008), during the reign of George Washington,
the federal bureaucracy had only three cabinet departments; however, the federal
government has since grown not only to more than eight cabinet departments, but
also with other numerous bureaus, agencies, government authorities, administrations,
and corporations. Between the periods of independence and the civil war, the federal
government performed limited duties with regards to the daily lives of the American

From this point on, the influence of the interest groups has been great within the
political circles of the occupants of the white house. Another example of the
increasing expansion of the Federal Government was evident in the passage of the
Antitrust Act. Prior to the enactment of the Antitrust Laws in 1890, the Federal
Government had created the Interstate Commerce Commission in 1887 that was
supposed to curtail the autonomy of the local and state governments in supervising
businesses (Holcombe, 1996). While these two laws were important in the Federal
Government s increased involvement in the daily lives of the American people,
perhaps it was Sherman Antitrust Act of 1890 that clearly demonstrated the
increasing expansion of the federal authority in an unprecedented way. The enactment
of the Antitrust Act was prompted by the need to protect the public from the
exploitation of businesses and business owners. In other words, through the Antitrust
Act, the Federal Government hoped that it would limit the economic powers enjoyed
by businesses. While the enforcement of the laws may have taken a little longer
(Holcombe, 1996), the passage of the law in itself was a pointer that the

2.Matthew Robinson and Marian Williams: The Myth of a Fair Criminal Justice
System
The Criminal Justice Systems have various objectives to achieve, one of them being
reduction of crime levels. Another core objective is practicing justice. These two
objectives can be achieved in various ways. Evidence has been presented by the
authors that the judicial systems sometimes play unfair in solving crime cases.
The authors confirm that there exists evidence supporting the fact that many criminal
justice processes are unfair and could be described as biased, subjective, inequitable,
serving financial morals and grows out of the criminal law. They also conclude from
the study that the myth on the criminal justice system being fair is not true from the
law making department down to the correctional department.

5. Global Warming Should Be The Paramount Struggle Of
Our Time
It is often said that humans are the largest threat to Earth, but not because of
violence between one another. Humans are the largest threat to Earth because we
as a species pollute the air, land, and water of the very planet we call home.
Without Earth all life as we know it will cease to exist. Global warming is the
product of the pollutants created by mankind. If mankind as a whole does not
change its ways we will ruin our one and only planet that is suitable to sustain life. In
Warm, Warmer, Warmest an article by Nicholas D. Kristof
argues that that stopping
global warmingshould be the paramount struggle of our time (Warmer). While
researching this topic I used multiple resources to better understand what Nicholas
Kristof is explaining in his article. I first looked at a government run website that
helped explain global warming and how it is affecting us today. Then I looked at
news articles from different news organizations. Lastly I watched a video that
explained why we can no longer ignore global warming. All of those resources
helped me better understand my research topic and I feel that I have gained more
knowledge about global warming. Warm, Warmer, Warmest is an article written by

7. The Revolutions Of The Heavenly Bodies
During the 16th 18th centuries many historical events happened, in the 16th
century Nicolaus Copernicus wrote a book called On The Revolutions Of The
Heavenly Bodies. During the writing of the book, Nicolaus Copernicus was trying
to prove that the Geocentric Theory was wrong. The book talks about how the
planetary movements work and it also has many mathematical equations he used to
solve the Heliocentric Theory, which would help other scientists continue his
studies. A few years later, in the 17th century another scientist named Galileo wrote
another book called Starry Messenger. Galileo wrote a book because he had a
telescope and was making observations. Galileo wrote the book about all the
observations that he had made. The books of these scientists showed the world the
the Scientific Revolution was going to make a big impact on the world.Which is
why the Scientific Revolution gave a big impact to the world because without the
scientist the world would not have many of the inventions the scientists made. The
Heliocentric Solar System would not have been discovered to help us understand the
outer system. We would also not have medicine to help cure diseases and they would
have not made advanced technology. In fact, many people believe that the Scientific
Revolution would not have had the Heliocentric Solar System. Beck 109 191 states
that before Nicolaus Copernicuscame up with his theory about the Heliocentric Solar
System there was another theory, that
8. Dehumanization In Night
The holocaust is one of the world s most tragic events, approximately 6 million Jews
died and the concentration camp Auschwitz is the world s largest human cemetery,
yet it has no graves. In Elie Wiesel s autobiographical memoir Night, he writes about
his dehumanizing journey in the concentration camp, Auschwitz. Firstly, Elie
experiences the loss of love and belonging when he is separated from his mother,
sisters, and eventually his father. Also, the lack of respect that the Nazis showed the
prisoners which lead to the men, including Elie to feel a sense of worthlessness in the
camp. Finally, the lack of basic necessities in the camp leads to the men physically
experiencing dehumanization. As a result, all these factors contribute to the... Show

For instance, the Nazis treat the Jews like animals, no respect is given to them,
they are constantly mocked and they are punished for no reason. In particular
when Elie loses his name and becomes a digit he feels extremely dehumanized, I
became A 7713. From then on, I had no other name. (49). Once he lost his name he
feels worthless and non existent, he is nothing but a number to the Nazis.
Furthermore, all of the Jews are tattooed with their new identity, from that point
they became inferior to the Nazis, something so simple as a name forced the Jews
into feeling less than human. Next, the Jews experience massive changes to their
bodies due to starvation when Elie is released he is hospitalized One day when I
was able to get up, I decided to look at myself in the mirror on the opposite wall. I
had not seen myself since the ghetto. From the depths of the mirror, a corpse was
contemplating me. The look in his eyes as he gazed at me has never left me. (115).
Elie s self esteem is so impacted that it changed him mentally, he feels as if the old
Elie is dead and he is a whole new person. The struggle he faces in Auschwitz
change him so much he no longer recognizes himself, when he looks at himself in
the mirror he sees a corpse, not just physically but also dead inside. To sum up, Elie
is traumatized by the horrendous things the Nazis make him go through, his self
esteem is so impacted that he transforms into a totally different

Steppenwolf is a great story that covers the duality of a man named Harry Haller
who calls himself the Steppenwolf because he believes that he is a wolf of the
Steppes. The duality of Harry Haller can relate to many people nowadays. Almost
everyone has a personality that they allow people to see but there is a whole
different side to them that people don t see or rarely see. Harry Haller s duality is
between his fun, free spirited, pleasure seeking life and his intellectual, caring, and
struggles for the ideals of humanity life. This can also be explained as his Steppenwolf
side and his human side. These two sides to Harry Haller are at odds his whole life
and has isolated himself because of this duality and has become lonely because he
doesn t feel any connection to the world.
The first world that Harry Haller experiences is the world of JOLLY HUNTING.

wolf to do tricks, play dead, jump over his prey and eat chocolate instead, and

wolf s nature. Harry Haller also sees the wolf take command of the human. The
wolf commands the human to drop to his knees, walk on all fours, tear off his
clothes, and do things that are not of the human nature. This world disturbs Harry
Haller even more than the world with war because this one was completely about
himself. This was Harry Haller s first time seeing his divided nature from an external
view. This helps Harry Haller change and realize that he needs to find a way to have
equilibrium between his human nature and wolf nature before it tears him

The Sea of Monsters What is it that makes a hero, a hero? Being a hero does not
take that much work as people think it does. What it takes to be a hero is courage,
caring, and bravery. Caring: Caring can go a long way. Caring for others shows of a
hero s personality in a great way. This shows that the herois looking out for others,
and is always kind. Bravery: Being brave can show a great personality in a hero
because it shows the hero is bold, and wants to do things people are not capable of
doing. Courage: A hero that has courage means that they are determined to do

12. The Situation Of The Social Problem Essay
The situation of the social problem
Nowadays, domestic and family violence is still considered as a severe and non
neglected social issue. It badly ruins the families. The cases of domestic violence
have been dramatically increased during the past few years. Compared to 2009 2010,
it is announced that the number of domestic violence occurred was double in 2013
2014 in Victoria alone. ABS also reported that the population of Australia who
experienced domestic violence was about 100,000 in 2006 (St Vincent de Paul
Society 2015). In most cases, the majority of domestic violence victims were women
(nearly 87%) (Hill 2015). When those women were assaulted, their children may
witness the violence at the same time, it could have a negative effect on their growth
in the long run.
Generally speaking, women are forced to leave and become homeless along with
their children because of continuous threats, physical and mental abuses. The most
prevalent cases of homelessness due to domestic violence occur among children
and women, it is reported that about 187,000 (mostly women and children) sought
for housing services due to the family violence from 2011 to 2014, which account
for 36% of the total demand for homelessness service (Lauder 2016). What s more,
domestic violence has destroyed the lifestyle of women belonging to lower economy.
The women are helpless and are unable to earn or mange funds for their living. The
domestic violence has made women and children suffer financially,
13. Genetic Advantages And Disadvantages
High costs causing a social divide and removing genes are likely to have greater
significance than mental strain, risk of cancer and decreased fertility. This is
because both have an impact on society and evolution. They will impact evolution
because future generations will no longer inherit genetic conditions and can only
develop them through mutation, making the population stronger, healthier and
free of conditions. This impacts society as the rich will be the ones without
conditions and the poor who can t afford PGD will still have them. The rich will
pass on their good genes and the poor will pass on their bad genes through many
generations causing society to be impacted across the world and into the future
causing social divides. Implications such as higher risks of cancer and mental
strain are not as significant because they only impact the people directly involved
in the process. The mental strain the people experience is only temporary and does
not impact the whole world or offspring from the process, only the people involved
at that moment. The higher risk of cancer, decreased fertility and Ovarian Hyper
Stimulation Syndrome also only affect people directly involved in the process and
if offspring are produced they will not be affected because they are unable to inherit
the implications because they don t occur in the gametes or they occur later in life.
Benefits and Disadvantages of PGD One of the benefits of PGD is that it s available
for many different conditions

bank loan). There is a need of external financing for the expansion through
acquisition. External financing is a good source of raising money besides internal
funds. As per business finance, external financing can take the shape of two
different types of financing, debt or equity. Debt financing includes bank loans
where a company gets financed by issuing debentures which they have to pay back
after a certain period of time. It is called debt financing because the company is in
debt to the bond holders and if they were to go bankrupt, the bond holders would
have claim to any remaining assets. In this case these are secured business loans.
Equity financing is when a company decides to give up ownership in the company
to raise funds. This is usually done by selling company stock to investors.
Sometimes this could include seeking out angel investors or venture capitalists. If
you are expecting to get external financing through equity financing make sure that
your business has a product or service that is unique, and that there is a high
demand for your product or service. Most venture capital investors or even angel
investors will not look at an offer unless they see a large growth potential. (2)

kind of schedule decrease your training volume and increase your frequency.
This is an effective approach to train your body three times a week and do the
exercises in combination of lower body and upper body workouts. This kind of
training schedule will stimulate your muscles frequently and give good results.
Correct Your Exercise Form
Doing an exercise in the proper form will bring fast results and you will stay injury

You can start with light weights so that you perfect your technique and when you are

In Public Key Cryptosystem there are two keys used i.e. a public key and a private

Bob uses Alice s public key to encrypt the message and then send that encrypted
message to Alice. Alice uses her private key to decrypt the message. Here how does
Bob know the Public Keyof Alice? Alice might have distributed its Public key
through a secure communication channel. This method is applicable only if there is
trust/familiarity between both Bob and Alice. If Bob and Alice does not know each
other this whole method fails.[28]
This drawback is removed by using a trusted third party (TTP) to uniquely bind
public keys to users or another entity such as an organization. This is the place we
require a PKI (Public Key Infrastructure). A PKI has one more trusted elements
called Certification Authorities (CAs). For instance, Erin is a CA. CA issues
Alice a certificate (which contains the public key of Alice) signed by the CA s
public key after checking Alice s credentials. Bob can now recover Alice s
certificate and confirm it is authentic by checking the signature on it. Certificates
may should be revoked later because of different reasons. For instance, if Alice s
private key is stolen, she will need to request that the CA deny its certificate. How
does Bob know whether a certificate is revoked? The CA keeps up a revocation list
which permits Bob to confirm if a given certificate is revoked or not. The
19. Purpose Of Epic Theatre
Epic theatre is always intended for the actors quite as much as for the spectators.
The essential reason why the didactic play falls into a category of its own is that,
through the exceptional austerity of its apparatus, it facilitates and encourages the
interchangeability of actors and audience, audience and actors. Every spectator can
become one of the actors . (Walter Benjamin). What do you discern as the didactic
element of Mother Courage and Her Children and how does it relate to dramatic form
/ theatrical techniques?
Is Theatre for Pleasure or Theatre for Instruction?
Epic theatre refers to a form of drama that attracts spectator s mind more than his
feelings. The term was developed and adopted by Bertolt Brecht in Germany in 1920
s. Epic theatre presents a narrative which turns the observer into spectator. The
main aim of epic theatre is to arouse the spectator s capacity to take action by
provoking rational self reflection. Brecht has followed the epic theatre because he
realised that the traditional theatre of his time is inadequate for his purposes. Epic
theatre serves the purpose of social function. Through its narrative, Brecht presents
social, political and economic problems. His main aim is to invoke the audience
into analysing the play rather than getting attached with the characters or the plot.
This form was empolyed by Brecht in his play Mother Courage and Her Children
which was performed in 1941. The play consists of twelve scenes that tackles the

Noble Gas is located in far right column of periodic table and is known for having
full valence electron shell. Helium, Neon, Argon, Krypton, Xenon, and Radon are
known Noble gases in the periodic table. All of those elements are odorless,
colorless in standard condition. Ununoctium is the only synthetic element of
Noble Gases. The name Noble Gas came from the translation from German noun
Edelgas which implied that it is chemically very inert. Because Noble Gas
elements have 8 valence electron and stable without any formation of compound,
its first ionization energy is highest out of all the groups in periodic table. Noble
Gases are used in many occasions in the real life. For example Neon signs are used
in many electric signs. However despite many usages of Noble Gas in real life, it
has strongest first ionization energy because it has full S and P valence electron
shell which makes it hard to break the bond in order to make a chemical compound.
Because of such characteristics it was believed that Noble gases cannot form

21. Modern Day American Political Warfare Examples
Political Warfare Blame, it s a commonly used word used to explain why many of
our expectations go wrong in communities, but the most common group of people
oftenly blamed for causing troubles is politicians. Blaming politicians for a majority
of problems often leads to a divided opinion, some may believe their problems were
solved thanks to the politician while others blame politicians for making their
problems worse. Eventually the conflict between opinions leads to violence among a
community. Although both political parties attempt to make their opinion appear as
the superior opinion by using violence and discrimination, it solves absolutely
nothing for their cause. The modern day United States society is an example of
political warfare

are eligible for sponsorship. By sponsoring a pet, you choose to either pay to feed
that pet for a month, a medical exam, getting spayed or neutered, or just a general

Most of the pets that are eligible for sponsorship are the ones up for adoption. 26 of

26. The Bickerstaff Paper
The Bickerstaff papers begins sometime in 1708, were an almanac, almanac at the
time were arguably the most popular forms of literature. What the almanacs did was
predict future events by Astrologers, usually the upcoming year. The Bickerstaff
papers were, in my opinion, the most difficult to comprehend and interepert.
Nevertheless, after careful reading and obtaining background information in lecture,
we can begin to notice just how humorous it is. Isaac Bickerstaff was the alias of
Jonathan Swift. Swift being frustrated that Partridge s attacks upon the church,
decided he would attempt to not only mock but also discredit the Astrologer.
Therefore, eventually forcing Partridge to no longer publish his almanac.
Furthermore, what makes these papers so amusing is the fact that Swift or
Bickerstaff, in this case, made an almanac of himself. Where he predicted the death
of Partridge. Predicting the exact time and place of his passing. The prediction was
that Partridge would die at exactly 11 p.m. on March 29th of that year. This
prediction shocked most Londoners. As a result of the fall out. Partridge immediately
replied with his own almanac. Claiming Bickerstaff was spouting nonsense and that

This led to Partridge being enraged to no end. Thus he published another pamphlet,
in which he claimed that he was still among the living and that Bickerstaff was a

on this earth could have possibly written such erroneous predictions and claims that
were present in his previous almanac. In addition, Bickerstaff claimed that Partridge s
own wife admitted that her husband had neither life nor soul , therefore he was in fact
27. Racism In Master Harold, By Athol Fugard
Racism, the idea of one s race being superior than others is not an idea we are born
with. It is an idea that is taught by the ones closest to us or simply adapted to due
to our very own surroundings. In the play, Master Harold and the boys, by Athol
Fugard, the underlying message of discrimination and ignorance is incredibly
evident. The play takes place in South Africa in the 1950s during apartheid. It was
a time of racial inequality and segregation. The play is a miniature representation
of the circumstances happening in South Africa a parallel time. The very same
circumstances that surround young Hally, a white boy, are the very same that
compete with his future. Sam, a black servant, has always been present in Hally s
life. Although many obstacles have tried to corrupt Hally, Sam has always been
there to show him a different side. Hally is optimistic about change but
unknowingly seems to block it. Throughout the play Master Harold and the boys,
Fugard transforms objects such as a kite and a bench into symbols that project a
hidden meaning behind them. For example, the kite in the story takes Hally back to
his childhood. As a child, Hally had a root sense of defeat, dissatisfaction, and shame
growing up alongside a drunk racist father. Although, much of what Hally remembers
isn t pleasant, there was a moment that stuck with him; flying a kite. It was made up
of scraps and trash that Sam made for him, he was shocked that a black man could
build such a thing. Both

A civil suit is commonly derived from a private party or individual, who alleges
damages from duty of care. Once a civil case begins, it is the duty of the plaintiff to
prove, with evidence, duty of care, breach of duty, causation, and damages.
Conversely, the defendant must prove their affirmative defense against documented
allegations. The Oliver versus Brock case proves the importance of supporting
evidenceas opposed to hearsay statements, to prove the truth of the matter. In the
Oliver versus Brock case, Cathy (Plaintiff) filed a lawsuitagainst Bryan Whitfield

important, the more pressing issue becomes whether a doctor patient relationship was

Contrary to the alleged, Dr. Brock refuted the claim, defending that he never

In order to validate his refute, Dr. Brock provided four factual elements that were

The Nursing Process The nursing process is a very important tool that nurses have
in to make sure that they give adequate care to all their patients. It helps them not
only evaluate each patients needs individually but also allows the nurse to
prioritize which patient s needs are more important to attend to first. Just like
doctors have a way of diagnosing patients, nurses also use this process to give their
own form of diagnosis. The significance of having the nursing process is to have a
set way in which each nurse gets a care plan for the patient. Every nurse is taught the

30. The Holy Spirit Is God
The Holy Spirit is God Himself. He is a person that we can have a personal
relationship with. Also, the Holy Spirit is the one that God gave to us as a guide,
to direct and teach us in living a Holy life (King James Version, John 14:16). The
Holy Spirit is the voice inside of us that tells us when something is not right with
the choices that we have made. The voice inside of us comes from God, who loves
and cares enough to show us our error that we have made. Also, the Holy Spiritis part
of the Trinity; where God transformed into three persons, the Father, the Son, and the

The Holy Spirit also acts in non believers as well. The Holy Spirit makes people
feel guilty about the things that they have done and helps them to ask for God
forgiveness on their sin. (John 16:8 11). The Holy Spirit pulls on our hearts and
minds asking us to repent and turn to God for forgiveness and a new life. When
the Apostle Paul was planting church in his missionary journey, he preached lots
about the duty of the Holy Spirit, and the role that he plays in our lives for
example in Roman 8:1 8. In view of this scripture, there is a very distinct difference
between the human flesh and the Holy Spirit. The Apostle Paul said that as long we
become Christian, the Spirit of Jesus Christ has set us free from the worldly law of
sin. Whatever the flesh could not do Jesus Christ has come to paid it all and to set us
free from condemnation.
What is the Activity of the Holy Spirit?
The Bible talks about several roles that the Holy Spirit plays in the lives of people
today. The first thing that the Holy Spirit does is he provides conviction of sin to
all people. John 16:8 said, And when he comes, he will reprove the world of sin,
and of righteousness, and of judgment . Also, the Holy Spirit works in several
ways for many believers that follow Christ. One of the roles that He works is to
serve as a comforter and a helper in our daily life. In John 14:16 17 this means that
there is someone that is helping us and guiding us and encouraging us during difficult
time of

The brain is known to be the most complex organ of the human body. According to,
The National Institute of Neurological Disorders and Strokes, This three pound
organ is the seat of intelligence, interpreter of the senses, initiator of body

NINDS also explains how the cerebral hemisphere can be divided into sections, or
lobes, and within each lobe contains specific functions. The damage to these lobes
can have distinct debilitating effects, so therefore, damage to the left hemisphere
can cause aphasia, right sided hemiparesis and memory loss. The NINDS states, the

Ischemic strokes are caused by an obstruction within a blood vessel supplying
blood to the brain. The American Stroke Association also states that,
atherosclerosis is the development of fatty deposits which causes an obstruction in
the lining of vessel walls (ASA, par. 1 2). The second type of cerebrovascular
accident is hemorrhagic. The American Stroke Association explains that
hemorrhagic strokes account for the other 13 percent of stroke cases. The
American Stroke Association also states, It results from a weakened vessel that
ruptures and bleeds into the surrounding brain. The blood accumulates and
compresses the surrounding brain tissue (Hemorrhagic strokes). If the
cerebrovascular accident occurs in the middle cerebral artery of the left
hemisphere, then several effects could occur including: aphasia, right side

portion of the brain that is responsible for language is known as aphasia, which is a
neurological disorder. This disorder includes difficulty in reading and writing, not
able to express oneself when speaking, and trouble understanding speech (NINDS,
par.1). There are three different types of aphasia, and they depend on the portion of
the brain that has been affected such as: Wernicke, Broca, and Global

Background:
The Pythagorean Theorem was discovered and first proven by the Greek
mathematician, Pythagoras. The Pythagorean Theorem states that the sum of the
squares of the two legs of a right triangle equals the square of the hypotenuse of the
triangle. In simpler words, when looking at the right triangle below, aВІ+bВІ=cВІ.
This major discovery in the history of mathematics lead to the accomplishments of
many other basic things we do in life. The Pythagorean Theorem does not just stop at
the famous equation of aВІ+bВІ=cВІ, but it has many other aspects. Whole numbers
that can fit into this theorem are commonly referred to as Pythagorean Triples. The
Pythagorean Theorem includes numerous amounts of poofs, from the basic proof to

Once the concept of the Pythagorean Triples was discovered, mathematicians were
eager to validate the concept. Euclid created a widely accepted formula in deriving a
Pythagorean Triple, which can be proved with the help of the unit circle and algebra.
Euclid s Formula and its Proof
Euclid s formula for a Pythagorean triple is: a = 2mn, b = m^2 n^2, c = m^2 + n^2
The variables: m and n: stand for positive, rational integers. It is important to
remember that m has to be greater than n, otherwise the statement valuing variable b
on a Pythagorean triangle would be false because b cannot
This can be understood in terms of the rational points on the unit circle. A unit circle
is a circle with the radius of 1.
We can draw a right triangle: a and b are the legs c is the hypotenuse
In the next part, we must use the trigonometric identity of sin2+cos2=1. For
representational purposes, we must look towards the following diagram for how the
triangle would be represented in this proof.
The next step in formulating this next equation would require us to find the sine and
cosine of triangleABC. The sine formula is opposite/hypotenuse, which would equate
to a/c. Additionally, the formula for cosine is adjacent/hypotenuse, equating to b/c.
Knowing the trigonometric identity, we can derive the new eqution:
For the next step, we will need to know the equation of a [unit] circle: x2 + y2 = 1
We know that

35. Surveillance Cameras Have Helped Tremendously
In this day and age, increased security measures are being taken everywhere. These
measures include bodyguards, security guards, and added surveillance cameras.
Most Americans want to feel and be safe, but they aren t always ready for the extent
that it will take to be safe. The major issues of getting these cameras are the money
and time it takes to get them operating in the best way they can. In many cases
examined, surveillancecameras have helped tremendously. Now, it s just a matter of
improving these cameras. The amount of good a surveillance camera can do far
outweighs the harm; therefore, they should be kept and used in even more places and
situations.
Surveillance cameras have been around for a little over fifty years, while security
guards have been around a lot longer ( DIY Peace of Mind para 1). Just about all
security guards perform some of the same types of duties. In the end, they are all
hired to monitor and protect something. Sometimes they are here to protect people,
and other times they are here to protect and guard property. They are there to keep
theft to a minimum, while also keeping lives safe. Security guard jobs or
responsibilities differ depending on size, type, and location of where the security
guard is working. Most guards deal with people first hand, but not all the time. The
security guards are walking around or sitting checking out the area around them. They
are making sure everything is going smoothly, and there is no harm done; kind of

is a set of processes and procedures a sudden calamitous event bringing great damage,
loss, or destruction, a sudden or great misfortune or failure (Omar, Alijani, and

explore is how to move the networks to an alternative distribution location while
minimizing effects of the transition, fixing a catastrophic event resulting in the failure
of the playout automation system, and failure of the network connecting alternative

continuity, revenue protection, and maintaining the content s audience. The disaster

This essay will analyse and highlight on the fifteen minute micro teaching reflection
that is vital for the self evaluation and professional development of my teaching
practice. It will further identify my strengths and weaknesses through my peer
assessment and reflect on the teaching and learning theories, methods and strategies
that are linked and practiced in my micro teach.
According to the teachers standards (DfE, 2012) teachers make the education of their
learners their first concern, keep their knowledge up to date and are self critical.
Therefore, this reflection practice will guide me towards the improvement on my
lesson planning strategies and delivery. In addition, it will also make an enormous
difference in my teaching and learning practice which is vital for teacher training.
One of the significant part of this course is micro teaching session, in this session
we are required to deliver fifteen minute planned lesson containing learning
outcome. Furthermore, this session was recorded and observed by the peers to
evaluate. Due to my interest in ESOL I decided to deliver my session on Boogle
Puzzle to embed a simple literacy/numeracy activity aims to target ESOL (English

make seven ten words in the English language from the word grid to improve word

Based on reflection of my micro teaching I provided learners with the basic
instructions on Boggle puzzle and opted for potential instruction strategy. I used
present, practice and produce strategy (English language resource, 2017) to allow
pupils to practice and learn new vocabulary in co operative way. Similarly, I used co
operative learning method to encourage pupils to learn from each other and gain
interpersonal skills. According to Johnson and Johnson (1995) co operative learning
method have proven effective in increasing motivation, self esteem and problem
solving. Thus, to enhance inter dependency, the class was divided into two main
groups of fours and were further divided into pairs, to finish their task. According to
Mercer (1985) effective communication is as cognitive and social development are

The purpose of this research paper is to examine the impact to the company s bottom
line of divesting AOL from Time Warner and of selling the AOL Europe holdings.
The conversant Time Warner merged with AOL in 2001. This produced a loss in
value to both entities. Since the merger, Time Warnerhas looked at ways to either
increase its overall revenue through divesting units or portions of the conglomerate
by acquiring other companies to help increase earnings potential. This paper looks at
the impact to Time Warner if it divests its AOLunit and also what would be the best
way to proceed with selling its AOL Europe holdings. This paper will take a historic
perspective on memo 8 and memo 10 on this case study.
INTRODUCTION
Internet pioneer America Online purchased Time Warner in January 2000 for $165

making models to describe the paradox s of the process model for public policy. The
two models include: the market (rational model) and the Polis (community) model.
Stone states she contrasts these two models to illuminate some ways the market
model distorts political life. As discussed in class, the market model follows five
steps:
1.A social system in which individuals pursue their own welfare;
2.Participants in competition with one another for scarce resources by exchanging
things with others whenever ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
Situations where self interest and public interest work against each other are
known as commons problems. In the market model the chief source of conflict is
individual s perceived welfare vs. another s perceived welfare. In the polis model
the chief source of conflict is self interest vs. public interest, or how to have both
private benefits and collective benefits. Stone notes most actions in the market
model do not have social consequences but in the polis, commons problems are
everything. It is rare in the polis that the costs and benefits of an action are entirely
self contained, affect only one or two individuals, or are limited to direct and
immediate effects. Actions in the polis have unanticipated consequences, side effects,
long term effects, and effect many people. Stone states, one major dilemma in the
polis is how to get people to give weight to these broader consequences in their
private calculus of choices, especially in an era when the dominant culture celebrates
private consumption and personal gain. That is a

Background Information
(Childhood, early life, career etc.)
Sacagawea was kidnapped when she was twelve years old by an enemy tribe of her
people the Shoshones Indians. She was then sold by the Hidatsas to a French
Canadian named Toussaint Charbonneau who claimed other women from the
Shoshones as his wives as well. She gave birth to Jean Baptiste Charbonneau. She
proved to be very helpful in the Lewis and Clark expedition. Her and her husband
were hired as translators. They needed horses from her tribe so she was very
helpful in that factor. She made the team seem friendlier as they were carrying her,
an indian woman, and a baby in their group. On the way back she acted as their
guide as well. So they got what they needed and she helped
43. Immune To Reality Daniel Gilbert Analysis
Humans are complex beings. We have different motivations, goals, and aspirations,
but what influences us to having these goals and what motivates us to strive for them.
Daniel Gilbert, in his essay immune to Reality states we have unconscious processes
that influence our behavior, and also that we heavily rely on the acceptance of others.
Our goals coincided with others because humanhave an instinctual drive to be
accepted and to be happy, willing to do everything in their power to gain that Our
unconscious is constantly trying to make us feel better. Blurring the lines of reality
if need be. Think of a situation where your crush is talking to you. You swear that he

They need to learn, have to answer to any questions or odd situation they are
presented with. Its just in our nature to seek the answer to everything, but its the
curiosity keeping us interested, not the answers themselves. A deeper connection is
formed with a question than to an answer. You ll never find someone obsessing over
a solution once they have it, testing it a couple times making sure that it work. Once
an explanation is formed the spark is no longer there. Thought, having an unanswered
question, give us something to ponder, something to figure out. If humans were
omniscient, we wouldn t know how to entertain ourselves, wouldn t know what to
strive for. Therefore, having an explanation or an answer to a situation or questions
makes it loses its luster, its in the past once the explanation is clear and complete with
further reason to continue questioning. Gilbert says The second reason why
unexplained events have a disproportionate emotional impact is that we are especially
likely to keep thinking about them . The bigger the unexplination the bigger the
thoughts the stem from them. However, maybe we shouldn t want find the answers.
Finding the answer means losing the fun of thinking about it, thought not knowing
could drive one crazy, due to the deep connection to it. We could very well be
happier with constantly wondering, however, our own selfishness to learn wouldn t
allow us to
44. The Enterprise And Regulatory Reform Bill
As of October 2013 the Enterprise and Regulatory Reform Bill was amended by
parliament under the proposal of Vince Cable , the new powers gave shareholders
a binding vote on executive compensation , this meant that any changes in
executive pay required a 50% shareholders approval. Before this shareholders votes
on such matters were advisory , this meant even if there was a vote against
executive pay they could still be increased regardless. This is significant as it
shows a change in peoples perception on the role of shareholders within a company
and leads to the point if this is correct. One of the main reason for such a change in
the bill was many of the public felt that executive s were over paid, The average

In the view of many these increases of there pay were not justified , and was a
contrast to shareholders investment money going down in value due to decrease in
share prices of the company. What this showed was in some instances the
objective of the executive s were given priority of the shareholder which ultimately
led to the shareholders losing out , and so introducing such power allowed
shareholders to allocate pay rewards more closely aligned with corporate
objectives and performance. These reasons overall echo the idea that it allows
shareholders to have a greater say on how the company should be run by
controlling the pay of executives as before this shareholders would be very limited
in the say of pay with the only option being to replace committee members and
directors. This in itself would not be a likely option as it could become costly in
the long run and create uncertainty which may have more negative impacts. One of
the reasons to give such measures was to reduce such excessive pay packages to
executive so the question to ask is whether these reforms introduced since 2013 has
actually worked. According to PWC at the end of 2013 percentage base pay
increase of main board members increased by 3.5% compared with the national
average earning of 1%
45. Censorship In Korea
Since its early years as a nation, Korea has continually adapted its film industry to
befit tastes by the decade. In their struggle to compromise their personal visions with
those of the nation, filmmakers have contributed an array of works with varying
degrees of domestic and international appeal. While a majority of cinema prior to the
1990s experienced censorship that aimed to uphold the government s nationalist
views, filmmakers since then have dared to venture into the realms of international
cinema. Over the past two decades, a greater amount of works has aimed to become
worthy of the designation blockbuster, rivaling successful Hollywood films and
winning over domestic Korean and foreign audiences alike. Through such films as the,

Having had international success at the Cannes Film Festival but mediocre reception
in the US, Park Chan Wook s Oldboy has strong enough content that has elicited such
criticisms of failing to convey any important social themes and instead preaching
revenge, brandish[ing] sharp metal instruments, and impatiently wait[ing] for [one s]
turn to spill someone s blood] (Kim 178). Other critics may defend that Park aims to
render a sense of the unknowable, through which heroes and villains can operate
outside the law in a mythical, ahistorical world devoid of a mundane legal system
(179 181). While Oldboy generally captivates viewers with the more provocative plot
elements, the mixed criticisms show that these elements don t always universally
appeal to all audiences. Although the more violent elements of Oldboy are intended
to thrill, the criticism of failing to convey important social themes shows that some
audiences value being able to draw up a moralistic takeaway amidst all the bloodshed
that occurs. Moreover, any underlying message to be taken away would otherwise be
overlooked due to the overwhelming nature of controversial content in Oldboy.
Additionally, while it can be justified that it brings yet another unique element to the
film, the sense of unknowable that Oldboy builds could potentially tie back to and
even accentuate the violent themes of revenge, sharp weaponry, and immense
bloodshed that were initially criticized.. Such successful films as Oldboy demonstrate
that works with exotic and even strongly controversial content will inevitably stir up
criticism by any given nation s viewers. The film and its exotic elements, while
internationally successful, still exhibits an imbalance in glocalization that prevents it
from potentially appealing to more
46. Comparsion Of Adam And Eve In The Book Of Genesis
Inthe book of Genesis God reveals himself to Adam after he ate the forbidden fruit.
God knew that Adam and Eve had disobeyed him and disobedience leads to sin and
sin leads to death and so that is why he came by to see what they had done.
Whenever we sin, God speaks to us through the Holy Spirit and let us know what
we had done and he calls us to repent, however, we all know that if we don t repent
then we will bring judgement on ourselves.
According to the Bible, the Lord God took man, and put him into the garden of Eden
to dress it and to keep it. And the Lord God commanded the man saying, of every
tree of the garden thou may freely eat: But of the tree of the knowledge of good
and evil, thou shalt not eat of it: for in the day that thou eat thereof thou shalt
surely die (Genesis. 2:15 17 King James Version). This is important because God
had told Adam the way in which he should live and the way he could also die. He
was given the task to rule over the Garden of even, but there was just one thing he
could not do. Adam was not to eat fruit of the tree of knowledge, because his life
would be taken away. By Adam being disobedient, us as humans are now living in a
world filled with sin. ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
A serpent came to Eve and deceived her into to eating fruit of the forbidden tree.
After she was deceived she offered her husband Adam some of the fruit and he
took it willingly. By doing this they had gained instant knowledge, and had now
realized that they were naked. After this God had walked in the garden calling
Adam s name. As he heard God s voice he told God he was hiding in the bushes
because he was naked. Adam and Eve didn t know any better, they had no knowledge
that the human body should be covered with clothes. They gained this knowledge
from eating the forbidden

Kalah Bailey October10th 2015 Chem 109 Pre Lab 6 Title: Observations of
Chemical Reactions. In this lab, students will recognize and record the chemical
reaction results of seven different anions and one cation. This experiment also
focuses on the reaction of salt solutions and what happens when two different
solutions mix. Procedure: Carbonate (CO32 ) First, solid calcium carbonate (CaCO3)
is added to a test tube in a small amount. Next, 15 to 20 drops of 6M HCl are placed
in the tube. The result is then recorded. 15 to 20 drops of 1M Na2CO3 are poured in
a separate test tube. Then 15 to 20 drops of 6M HCl are slowly added to the tube and
the outcome is recorded. Sulfate (SO42 ) Second, in a test tube 15 to 20 drops of 0.1
Na2SO4 are added. 5 drops of 0.5M BaCl2 are placed in the tube and the solution is
stirred. The result is recorded. ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
Next, 1to 2 drops of 6M HNO3 and 5 drops of 0.1M AgNO3 are added and the
solution is stirred. The observation is recorded. In the same tube, 6M NH3 is
transferred drop after drop and is stirred until a change happens. The reaction is then
recorded. Iodide (I ) Fourth, 15 to 20 drops of 0.1M KI are moved into a test tube. A
small amount of AgNO3 is added and the result is recorded. In the same tube, 20
drops of 6M NH3 is placed drop after drop and is stirred. The observation is recorded.
Acetate (C2H3O2) Fifth, 15 to 20 drops of 1M NaC2H3O2 are added to a test tube
followed by15 to 20 drops of 3M H2SO4. The solution is stirred and any odor is
distinguished. Then, the outcome is
