long after women started joining the mills, the conditions began to rapidly
deteriorate due to the depressed economy that was caused by the creation of
rivaling textile mills. The comfort that enticed the women was now gone. The
workload was increased, wages (already less than those of men) were lowered,
dormitory rents were raised, and the mills became a more stressful and more
unsafe place to work, these setbacks caused some workers to leave, but the rest

formation, the cooling rates that are involved help create the texture which makes
and defines the two major groupings in igneous rocks, the major groupings include
Volcanic rocks and Plutonic rocks. The Volcanic rocks start to form when magma
reaches the surface and erupts. When the magma has erupted the cooling rate is
rapid. Volcanos are the visible producers of igneous rocks. OVer 90% of all active
rocks are usually near the boundaries of the tectonic plates. Tectonic plates were

destroyed and sunken deep into the ocean trenches. When a new plate material
forms, it is created in ocean ridges where the molten rocks rises from the interior it

surface of the crust then becomes the sea floor. The ridges become the extension of
the tectonic boundaries. When the solidifying of the material splits along the
ridges, each of the parts then extend away from each other and they form gaps.

Many times after injuries or medical procedures, one is required to spend time at
home recovering before it is safe to resume work. In the Army, this recovery leave
is non chargeable and a physician decides the length of recovery. The first form of
leave is called quarters and is typically 24 to 36 hours. Quarters is typically prescribed
to soldiers that have infectious diseases such as the flu. When a Soldieris given
quarters they must stay at home in order to mitigate the spread of the disease and to
allow them to rest and recover. The second form of medical leaveis called
convalescence leave. Convalescence leave is prescribed by a physician following a

not having a soldier be seen by a physician immediately and having a lower ranking

back as the time of the Greeks. Oedipus Tyrannus is a Greek Tragedy written by
Sophocles. The play is about Oedipus s life after he became King of Thebes and had
to face his prophecy. Teiresias, a blind prophet, and Oedipusare prime examples of
how fate and free will act out it s conflict during the play.
In the play, Teiresias, a blind prophet, believes that the gods decide the fate of the

He also believes that he escaped his prophecy by leaving Corinth, so that he
