Essay On Media Bias
Crafting an essay on the theme of media bias can be both challenging and intricate. The subject
itself is multifaceted, demanding a comprehensive understanding of media dynamics, journalistic
ethics, and the impact of biased reporting on society. The difficulty lies not only in presenting a
well-researched analysis but also in navigating the delicate balance between objectivity and
personal perspective.
The challenge begins with the vast amount of information available, ranging from academic
studies to real-world examples. Sorting through this wealth of data to select relevant and
credible sources is a task that requires careful consideration. Furthermore, the evolving nature of
media and the emergence of new platforms add an additional layer of complexity, demanding an
up-to-date awareness of the latest trends.
One must also grapple with the ethical implications of media bias. Addressing the potential
consequences of biased reporting on public opinion, political discourse, and social harmony
requires a nuanced exploration of various perspectives. It's essential to approach the topic with
sensitivity, acknowledging the fine line between journalistic freedom and responsible reporting.
Crafting a compelling argument while avoiding personal bias is another hurdle. Striking a
balance between expressing individual opinions and maintaining objectivity is an art. Each word
choice, sentence structure, and paragraph composition must contribute to a cohesive narrative
that educates and informs without veering into a subjective stance.
In conclusion, writing an essay on media bias involves navigating through a complex web of
information, ethical considerations, and the challenge of maintaining objectivity. It demands a
careful selection of sources, a nuanced understanding of the topic, and the ability to present a
coherent argument. Despite the difficulty, delving into this subject is crucial for fostering a
deeper understanding of the media landscape and its impact on society.

School Dress Code And Anti Dress Codes Essay
Students have been affected by dress codes for many years. Others, for better or
for worse, never had to deal with them. It has been debated for years between
parents, students, and school systems alike as to whether or not dress codes are
appropriate to enforce. This essay will summarize, make an argument, and analyze
Krystal Miller s article on this subject, titled, School Dress Codes . School Dress
Codes is a 1990 article about the issues surrounding various city s experiences with
enforcing a school dress code. In the article, four different high schools in Detroit
are examined, as well as a school in Baltimore, Chicago, and Los Angeles.
Depositions from both pro dress code and anti dress code persons are included.
The opposing end includes Mary Louise Starks, who is in charge of the
psychological services for the Detroit school system and says dress codes are not
the solution to the violence, A dress code is a temporary measure that is limited in
scope. Students are committing these crimes because they don t have a sense of
power and self esteem. They steal from their peers to gain control over another
person (qtd. in Miller 87). An example of a pro dress code student from the article is
17 year old Jonathon Johns, a senior at Dunbar High Schoolin Baltimore, who says,
Violence isn t as bad as it was. There s no way to prove it s all due to the dress code,
but I feel it s had a big impact (qtd. in Miller 87). There are several testimonies and

This essay examines how Joan of Arc changed the church during the Middle Ages.
Joan of Arc otherwise called Saint Joan was born around 1412 in Dommerecy la

her to lead France to triumph in it s long running war with England. Joan of Arcdrove

history s most prominent holy people and a persevering image of French solidarity
and patriotism. The young French peasant girl s sympathy and commitment despite
her in the face of people were increased by her mystical relationship with God. A
standout amongst the most unique parts of Joan of Arc is sacredness was decisively
this connection between mysterious experience and political mission.
Toward the start of 1429, Joan started her work of liberation. The numerous
witnesses demonstrate to us this young lady who was just 17 years of age as an
exceptionally solid and decided individual, ready to persuade individuals who felt
unreliable and disheartened. Overcoming all obstacles, she met the Dauphin of
France, the future King Charles VII, who subjected her to an examination in Poitiers

The Excitement of Gaming Turned into an Addiction
Change is the alteration which results in an important shift in the way we perceive
and interact with the world. It is the process of being reformed in appearance or
turned into something or someone new. The concept of change is very significant
as it gives us new experiences whether positive or negative. Being the best student

the opportunity to invite friends over if I wish. On the 4th day, I invited my two

As I carried on with the change, I never taught much about video games. I found
more interest in hanging out with my family all the time. I used to go to the cinema
every Saturday with my family until I had my play station. My family will go to the
cinema whilst I also spend time with my play station. On Saturday, the 7th day, I felt
very bored and had no option than to join my family to the cinema. That night was
fun as I realized the ecstasy in hanging out with family.

Analysis Of The Book Dreams By Christopher Nolan
Running head: INCEPTION PERCEPTION
Inception Perception
Olivia Young 29 02
AP Psychology Inception Perception Inception is a film about dreams and being
able to explore people s subconscious by entering their dreams directed by
Christopher Nolan (Nolan, 2010). Dom Cobb is the main character who must plant
an idea into a billionaire s son s mind, to break up his father s empire. This is not
Cobb s motive though, he is only doing this to be able to return to his children. He
needs the pardon from Saito, who hired him to perform the inception, because he is
believed to have killed his wife. The truth is that she killed herself and left in her will
that he killed her, to encourage Cobb to commit suicide with her. She believed that...

The idea of exploring someone s subconscious is the dream state, which is when you
enter someone s dream. This is designed by the architect and filled with projections
of the person s subconscious. In the state, your conscious is lowered and if not
previously informed of entering the dream state, you will perceive it as reality. If
you enter a dream within a dream, you are delving deeper into the person s
subconscious. That is where secrets and important information is kept within your
layers of consciousness. If you delve deep enough, you will reach the edge of your
subconscious. This is dangerous though because to return to reality, you need the
kick to be synchronized among all the layers of the subconscious. If you spend too
long in the dream state, the lines of reality and dreaming can become blurred. In
the movie, Cobb and his team are delving into Fischer s subconscious to plant the
idea for him to break up his father s empire (Nolan, 2010). To do this, they must go
very deep and plant the simplest of ideas, so his subconscious will run with it so
consciously he will make the decision. They used him and his father s relationship,
because that is the root of the idea they need to plant. It is not revealed in the movie
though if the inception worked (Nolan, 2010). To be conscious is to have awareness
of ourselves and our environment (Myers, 2011). Freud proposed the idea the our
conscious was divided into the conscious, preconscious, and unconscious. The

Analysis Of Virginia Woolf s Woolf
When it comes to reading infamous modernist novels and short stories, Virginia
Woolf is the way to go. Woolf was famous for a few of her famous novels, many
short stories, and her feminist views that were not as normalized as it is today.
Because of her work and who she was as a person, Woolf s work left a mark on the
literary world in the twentieth century. Woolf s work is presented in many different
ways because of the many ways that she formed her thoughts onto paper. Woolf has
her way with different words and styles, which is why she is significant to our

However, Woolf had a strained relationship with her father so it was as upsetting as

suffered from severe depression, mental breakdowns, possible bipolar disorder,
and was suicidal. Woolf s mental health issues would carry on into her adulthood
and would somewhat affect her writing. Woolf s characters in her novels/essays
and how they act tie into her own mental health issues. (Virginia Woolf Biography)
Woolf started off her career as a journalist and started writing professionally in
1900, making her eighteen years old. Woolf began writing for The Times Literary
Supplement in 1905, but ended up becoming the famous novelist the world knows of

career took off from there. (Virginia Woolf Biography) At thirty years old, Woolf
married Leonard Sidney Woolf. Woolf and her husband then started a publishing
company together called the Hogarth Press. Not only was Woolf famous for her own
writing, but her publishing company as well. During the prime of Woolf s career,
the world was at the peak of chaos. World War I had recently ended when most of
Woolf s most famous works were published. Jacob s

Toilet Training Research Paper
Toilet Training for Individuals with Disabilities
Being toilet trained is an extremely necessary skill to make it through our day to
day lives. It is something that seems so natural to us that we have forgotten that at
one point in our lives we did not have this skill. Someone had to teach it to us.
Unfortunately there is a large population of people with disabilities that have not
mastered this skill and require the constant aid of others to go to the bathroom.
Being independent in the bathroom is a major skill that can affect a child s entire
outlook on their lives. While being toilet trained may not seem like a big deal, having
to constantly rely on someone else to do every movement necessary to use the

There have been many studies conducted on the effects of using this model and
modified versions of this model to teach children with developmental disabilities to be
toilet trained. However as stated in the previous literature there are not many studies
on the prerequisite skills needed to engage in going to the bathroom or the
effectiveness of these interventions with children diagnosed with autism. Further
research is needed in this subject. My research question for this topic is to see if
combining Azrin and Foxx (1971, 1974) intensive toilet training model with teaching
the prerequisite skills for using the bathroom (i.e., unbuttoning pants, pulling up and
down pants and underwear, etc.) would be effective in teaching a child with autism to

Tolerance In The Fire Next Time
As a society, we are more tolerable towards each other than we have ever been
before. Yet, the discriminations and hate speeches are still a part of our lives that
we grow to ignore. Then the question that should be asked is why is racism,
sexism, homophobia, transphobia etc. are still topics of discussion which can be
observed in the book The Fire Next Time by James Baldwin as he talks about being
in a part of the black community and the struggles he faces. This question can be
answered if the option that people got it all wrong at the very beginning is
considered. Instead of teaching people to acknowledge each other s existence people
were taught to ignore people who were different than themselves, to know that they
were there without really... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
In order to overcome racism or homophobia would it be a better solution to accept
other people s right to live as equal to ours or create a distinction between our lives
and theirs. Because of these reasons that even though tolerance is a step towards
bringing people together it is not as effective as acceptance. Barry Schwartz shows
how the toleration is just the beginning by stating that perhaps fifty years ago for
Jews in America tolerance was good enough: You don t have to approve of us or
even respect us. Just leave us alone, let us use a little corner of your field, and we ll
stay out of your way. Even if you don t let us into your prestigious universities and
professional schools, as long as you don t bother us, we ll make do. but right now
in the world that we are living in minorities demand Who are you to tolerate me?
Who are you to say that my way of life is inferior to yours? Who are you to judge?
(Schwartz) This points to the fact that for example for black people it is not
enough anymore to be let by white people to have the same education, use the
same toilets and eat in the same places. Which is an example of toleration. White
people after many years learned to tolerate black people s right to be in the same
space as they are yet the barrier is still there which can be very easily observed
through the Black Lives Matter movement. Movement which arose as a campaign
against violence and systemic racism against black people but turned into a way to
see how white people turned a blind eye to racism that is still going on with
suggesting All Lives Matter and rejected the fact that what black people asked was
not more than equality. As we drift further away from the times that slavery was an
option, people started to see that it got harder to outwardly hate black people.
Swimming Is Not A Natural Act
Most people believe that the most efficient and effective way to lose weight is
either by jogging or running. They think this because running is done on land,
involves very hard movements of the arms and legs, and their heartrates are going at
5 beats per second. People always seem to forget that a better, easier and less
vigorous way to get fit is through swimming. Swimming is moving your body
through a body of water, either a pool or ocean, using your arms and legs, while
runningis moving quickly on land with your feet. Swimming is not a natural act but a
learned talent. According to Dr. Howard Wainer, a swimmer and statistician at the
Educational Testing Service in Princeton, N.J., the human bodywas not meant to move
quickly through water.
Most people believe that its harder to run than to swim but the fact is that it s harder
to swim. In swimming water acts as the resistance while in running, air is the
resistance. Water is a lot thicker than air which makes it harder to move through.
When running, performance peters out as the distances get longer but in swimming
the pace is consistent regardless of the distance.
Swimming has a lot of benefits which most people don t know about. Swimming
keeps your heartrate up without overstressing the body. It builds endurance, muscle
strength and cardiovascular fitness. Swimming also keeps the heart and the lungs
healthy. All the muscles are used while swimming so it s a good all over body
workout. Also, according to research done
The Influence Of The Victorian Age
The Victorian age began in 1837 and ended in 1901. Named after Queen Victoria,
the era marked a prosperous period for England with many changes in various
sectors. Its primary characterization lies in its rapid developments and changes in
scientific, medical and technological knowledge. These factors motivated the country
to move towards the age of optimism and confidence that resulted in economic
prosperity and boom. The dynamics of the era led to various adversities that affected
propriety, doubt concerning Britain s position in the world, the roles and perceptions
of women, and an empire age.
The Victorians took the propriety rules seriously. Educating young women was never

The Darwinian and many other theories led to the rising of many assumptions which
signified the age of doubt.
The role of women during the period reflected their position in the society. Their
place was in the home. Of course, there existed some women who were independent
and with original thought, but life was more comfortable to those who accepted
that their place was in the home. Their career was marriage. Whether single or
married, the women were expected to be fragile and weak. The Victorian men kept
mistresses and expected them to remain faithful. Women, however, were not allowed
to have lovers. When married, women became part of the man s properties. The
differences among the women lied on their social classes. They performed various
society roles concerning their wealth and riches (Inge, 2015).
During Queen Victoria s rule, the British Empire was vital for trade. The British
ports were full of ships that traded processed goods. Britain became a wealthy
nation. The colonies supplied cheap raw materials, and Britain had lots of it as it
ruled almost quarter of the entire world. During the era, the country held The Great
Exhibition in 1951 on which they showcased the riches they gained through the trade

The Subplots In Holes, By Louis Sachar
In the book Holes, written by Louis Sachar, there are multiple subplots that are all
intertwined. In particular, the Elya and Madame Zeroni subplot is tied very closely
with the main plot of the book. Madame Zeroni gives Elya a family lullaby that is
actually about his future descendent, Stanley and Madame Zeroni s future
descendent, Zero. The if only song in Holesforeshadows Stanley and Zero s
character development. The reader is first introduced to the lullaby in the subplot
of Elya and Madame Zeroni. Madame Zeroni gave this song to Elya, telling him
that if he sang the lullaby to his pig while it was drinking, then it would grow
bigger. She also told him that he had to come back and carry her up the mountain
and sing the lullaby to her or Elya and his descendants would be cursed forever.
However, Elya doesn t follow Madame Zeroni s directions, and he instead leaves
for America, where he meets his future wife Sarah. The lullaby that Elya receives
from Madame Zeroni is actually a family song that Madame Zeroni gave to her son
who lives in America. However, when Elya translates the song for Sarah, the song is
changed because Elya is cursed. Sachar writes, Elya tried his best to translate it from
Latvian into English, but it wasn t the same, (39). This means that there are two
versions of the lullaby: one is the cursed, Yelnat s version and the other one is the
unchanged, Zeroni version. Both versions are about Stanley and Zero; the Yelnat s

The First World War
The first world war was one of the most brutal and remorseless events in history;
the global conflict that defined a century . Over nine million soldiers and a large
amount of innocent civilians lost their lives. Empires crumbled, revolution
engulfed Russia and America rose to become a dominant world power. Huge
armies deployed new weapons of devastating effect from rifles and pistols to
torpedoes and flame throwers. These weapons were used not only in the trenches
but by tanks too. This was an advantage to those who were able to access such
machinery as they could easily launch bullets and missiles at nearby enemy bases.
The downfall of the tank was the fact it was unable to cross the trenches. Tanks were
not the only pieces of equipment that could access this machinery but U boats and
planes too. The British carried bolt actionrifles in which fired 15 rounds per minute
at a minimum range of 1,400 metres away. This allowed the British to take out foes
at a far greater range. By using machinery in which rules out the need for getting up
close to the enemy was a great advantage during world war one. Soldiers ran from
trench to trench attacking with all that they had. This resulted in a massacre as the
soldiers running toward the trenches were shot down. Machinery such as machine
guns and heavy artillery were the weapons used in the trenches. In modern day
society, machine guns are the main weapons used by soldiers. This wasn t the case
around the 1914s. They took four
Initial Public Offering For A Global Firm
Initial Public Offering for a Global Firm
Introduction
Initial Public Offering is a rigorous process where a firm decides to go public in
order to enable it raise capital for the company that will enable it to fund its
operations such as expansion plans, generate profits as well as make its investors
happy. For the IPO to go successfully there are a number of important factors and
players that come into consideration. These include investment bankers, underwriters,
pricing, demand and supply among other important factors.
The role of investment Banker and underwriter
Investment banker plays an integral role in the IPO process as when a firm decides
to go public it must hire an investment banker to conduct the whole process on its
behalf. ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
Once the value of the stock has been determined, the offer price will then be set
according to market survey for the demand of the stock for the company that is about
to go public.
Price performance of the IPO will largely depend then on the offer price as well as
the demand and the supply for the same. For instance, if the offer price is close to
market price then chances are the stock will most likely drop more so if investors
are rational. On the other hand if the offer price is quite lower than the market price
then the prices of the stock will most likely rise very fast since institutional investors
will rush for the same hence raising prices
The discovery period is another important factor that affects prices of the stock.
Normally the discovery period should not be more than 30 minutes as any increase
to more than 1 hour tends to make prices drop since that will signify lack of rush for
the IPO.
Finally, technical challenges that often affect the IPO are a determinant factor. For
instance, during IPO in 2012, the Nasdaq Security Market marred with huge technical
failures contributing to underperformance of the much anticipated Facebook IPO.
Risks involved in the public offering and how securities laws deal with them
There are numerous risks that firms, owners, investors are usually faced with during
the IPO process. One of the main ones is the lack of history pertaining to a particular
stock to ascertain the
Chapter Summary Of The Hot Zone
The Hot Zone by Richard Preston The Hot Zone, a novel by Richard Preston
explores a close encounter and near outbreak of the Ebola virus in a military
controlled monkeyhouse. The story follows real life examples of cases, as well as
many fictional characters with new experiences with the virus. The book is
considered a thriller, as many of the situations feel they could happen at any time,
leaving some readers on the edge of their seats. The novel informed the nation on
what likely could be a reality, with some chapters focusing solely on the various
symptoms one goes through when contracted with Ebolaand Marburg. It also focuses
on the origin of the virus and what treatment can be offered to those afflicted. The
story shifts settings from Kenya to... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
The language used in the book also helps give readers a better idea of some of the
scientific and viral information. For example, in the section titled Total
Immersion on page 58, it states, A virus is a parasite. It can t live on its own...A
virus makes copies of itself inside a cell...or viruses can bud through a cell wall,
like drips out of a faucet drip, drip, drip, drip, copy, copy, copy, copy... Here,
Preston uses an analogy and repetition to reinforce the habits of a virus to the reader.
This proves effective as Preston uses this analogy throughout the section to drive the
point home. Another example of the author using creative techniques to further
explain subjects is found on page 95. Viruses are too small to be seen. Here is a
way to imagine the size of a virus. Consider the island of Manhattan shrunk to this
size: в†ї This Manhattan could easily hold 9,000,000 viruses. Here, Preston uses real
life examples to inform and clarify to the reader. Language tools like these are just a
few instances where the author blends fiction and nonfiction, one characteristic that
makes this book
Review Of Woody Allen s Wild Strawberries
Introduction Ingmar Bergman has been openly described by Woody Allen as a
major influence in his craft of making films. Throughout the years of his career,
spanning over decades, Allen has been heavily drawn to Bergman s style as an art
form, enough to impact his own style of telling stories in the cinematic medium.
Bergman s strong method of telling a story was truly riveting and groundbreaking
in the entertainment industry, especially for the development of Swedish cinema.
As for American cinema, Allen has left a huge footprint on the industry as well,
and with Bergman as an open influence, Allen has gone to make many successful
films, impacting many audiences worldwide. Bergman s 1957 Film, Wild
Strawberries Bergman s film, Wild Strawberries, released in 1957, is truly one of
Bergman s most forgiving, riveting, raw, and yet, sensitive films telling the story of
a professor, bound to receive an honorary award at Lund, Sweden. The professor,
Isak Borg, is widowed and goes on a road trip to Lund with his brutally honest and
newly pregnant daughter in law, Marianne. Along the way, they stop to visit his
childhood summer home and that is when the gates of Borg s memory open.
Through his series of flashbacks, we see the bitter and the sweet parts of his past that
eventually led him to his current state, which is this feeling of cold and utter
insensitivity that truly has the rest of the characters feeling a little displeased.
According to Macnab (2009), Bergman
The Major Decision Between Majors
The Major Decision Between Majors There are many different paths that can be
taken after graduation. Some people go to college. Others join the military or even
go right to work. Even some choose to take a year off and travel. No matter what
our choices are, we have to make them soon. Senior year is almost halfway over and
we have to choose our paths. Whether it is between colleges or majorthe decision has
to be made. It s always been a goal of mine to go to college. I will be most successful
after I get an education. I don t have to choose between paths, I know I will be
attending schools. The main choiceI have is choosing between my dream and being
practical. I am choosing between majors, Tourism, leisure and event planning or...

This has been my dream since I was a little girl. I have always wanted to be a
professional chef or a pastry artist. The more and more I look at the facts of this
major, the more and more I realize it is not what I want. It is not the college
experience. It is too unpractical. The Culinary Arts program at the Institute of
Culinary Education, consists of 650 instructional hours. Students are in the
classroom for 440 hours and on their externships for 210 hours acquiring real world
experience in the culinary field ( Careers ICE Alumni ). This is nothing like a four
year degree at Bowling Green State University. Every class will teach students a
specific skill. Beginning with basic ingredient identification, the culinary arts chef
instructors will help train the student s senses, guiding them through all the tips
and tricks of cooking. Over the course of the program, I would learn from an
average of four different chef instructors, which exposes me to a wide range of
professionals with different areas of expertise ( Careers ICE Alumni ). After going
to this institute I would have everything I need to become a professional chef, but
this does not guarantee success right off the bat. Most chefs don t start out in their
dream jobs, they have to work towards their goal for years. I don t want to work in
low grade restaurants for years before I achieve a decent job.

Society s Attitude Towards The Drinking Age
Society s attitude towards the drinking age has been a major controversy in the
United States. The attitudes regarding the drinking age have been based off statistics
and society s varying opinion. Alcohol is a toxic depressant that has a damaging
effect on the human body. As a result, to prevent excessive alcoholic consumption,
the ratification of the 18th amendment took place from 1919 to 1939. This
established the Prohibition Act, which banned the transportation, manufacturing and
selling of an alcoholic beverage. However, illegal production of alcohol continued to
take place in secret. Gradually prohibition laws became difficult to enforce. As a
result, the Prohibition Act was repealed in 1933. In 1984, congress mandated a
law which would raise the drinking age from 18 to 21 through the National
Minimum Drinking Age. Reasoning for mandating an older drinking age, was to
enhance public safety and promote good health. In 1988, all 50 states enforced the
drinking age to 21. The concern for the consumption of alcohol have targeted
teenagers and young adults Society proposes at the age of eighteen an individual is
mature and responsible to make decisions without the consent of a parent or
guardian. In the United States an eighteen year old is considered a legal adult. By
law you are able to fight for your country, vote, and buy cigarettes. Some impose,
giving a newly young adult the privilege to consume alcohol would enhance their
responsibility as an adult. Mary Cary from
What Does The Cat In The Sky Mean

The Wild Road the novel the San Francisco Chronicle crowned mythical, and Richard

The ancient prophecy speaks of a golden cat whose coming will heal the troubled
world. But the Queen of Cats has three golden kittens and when two are stolen away,
the distraught parents turn to Tag, the brave young catwho is the protector of the

The desperate search moves from the water lit Oceanarium and sun dappled Tintagel
to the distant Louisiana bayous and the pyramids of Egypt. As Tag and his friends
struggle on, so does a terrifying, unearthly force a preternatural vortex threatening the
Wild Road, tearing at the very fabric of existence. But Tag is disastrously unprepared
for the powerful darkness that threatens to consume everything in its walk.

be interpreted as some sort of a dance. This shows that although the two are
different in so many ways, they are still close kindred and can change with each
other. The changes in the cat s eyes could be its eyes dilating, or could be the
reflections of the moon in its eyes, seeming to change as the moon does. However,
more importantly, the changing of the cat s eyes could also link with Gonne s

The Big Deal About The New Deal
The big deal about the new deal
When looking at the new deal in the 1930 s it is hard to say anything with
conviction. From the start of the great depression to the war little was black and
white. The reasoning you gave to the situation would probably give a clue as to
where you fit in the status quo. However, this paper is about bringing to light if I
think the new deal was successful or not. In my opinion yes the new deal was a
success, though not entirely in the way intended. To start off I should give a little
background to help understand what the new deal was fighting, and I will stick
more to the agricultural side of the depression in the interest of brevity. The main
culprit that hurt the citizens of the U.S. was unemployment. This came about due
to a couple of factors. But in my opinion the most important ones are credit, and
deflation due to abundance. Both of these reasons abound in the agricultural sector
of the time. With world war one being a catalyst farm size grew exponentially with
the need to supply efforts overseas. This lead to the need to take out loans to buy
expensive machines to work the larger areas. So when the war was over the farmers
were still producing at the same quantities to try and maintain their farms. With all of
this excess the prices on farm produce dropped to almost nothing. This is lead to
many farms being foreclosed on. This was just one area where this happened similar
situations occurred in the industrial sector with many
St. Bonaventure
Perhaps one of the most difficult realities a Christian must face when reading the
Old Testament is the God of Justice who ordered the death of women and children,
and even killed the firstborns of Egypt by His own hand and then reconcile Him
with the God of great Mercy who gave us Salvation by dying for us on the cross.
One such passage is found in the Book of Exodus 11:1 10 and 12:29 32 in which,
The Lord struck all the first born in the land of Egypt, from the first born of Pharaoh
who sat on his throne, to the cattle. The Church s many theologians in the Early
Church, Medieval Church, and Modern Church addressed this particular passage.
Between these centuries there was a tendency between two extremes, one being a

Thomas Aquinus would agree that it really was God who killed the firstborn of
Egypt based on an argument made in his Summa Theologica. While not directly
referencing to the passage, he argues that although it may seem in certain Scripture
passages God acts or orders others to act in a way contrary to virtue, He does not
because that would be against His nature. In fact Thomas establishes the justness of
God taking a life because He is the author of life and death. Therefore, to take the
passage literally would not be regarded as unjust or contrary to God s nature,
because life was a gift given to man in the first place, not a right that we
The Role Of Public Health In The 19th Century

In this assignment I am going to describe the origins of public health in the UK from
the 19th century to the present day. I am also going to compare historical and current
features of public health.
Public health is the measures taken by the government to prevent ill health and
disease. The government monitor health so that they can develop different
programmes and legislation to improve the health and well being of the people in
the country. They do this by attempting to solve inequalities, so that all people not

(4) Crimean War (1850 s)
During this war, around 21,000 British soldiers died however, only 2,755 were
killed in action, and 2,000 because of battlefield injuries. Over 16,000 British
soldiers died due to diseases such as typhus, typhoid, cholera, and dysentery.
During this war a lot of hospital patients had to lie on the floor as there weren t
enough beds. Also, soldiers who had infected limbs had to have them amputated
with a saw and a lot of the time these limbs were given to the military dogs as food.
Two significant people to this war were Florence Nightingale and Mary Seacole.
Florence Nightingale became a nurse in 1853 only a year before the Crimean war had
begun. After a statement that there weren t enough medical facilities for the war, the
war minister of the time Sidney Herbert asked Florence to help improve the medical
work in the military hospitals. (http://www.bbc.co.uk/history/historic_figures

unique and complicating historical experience that Hong Kong people have been
going through since its early beginning. From the early time until before 1842, Hong
Kong was considered to be a territory of China. In 1842, China officially ceded
Hong Kong to the British after the First Opium War due to the rise of British s

In addition, the sense of disorientation is also displayed through the way the past
story and present story are narrated. The story of Fleur and the story of the present
couple are not presented in linear time from past to present but in the way that the
past and the present are intermingled and its boundary is blurred. Also, the story of
Fleur is in the past tense but it is an unfinished story which keeps presenting and
haunting the present. The confusion projected by the merger of past and present
clearly speaks to the feeling of disorientation of Hong Kong people when facing
with their dramatic future changes. Experiencing that undesirable feelings, Hong
Kong people yearn for their past as a mean of escaping from the awful reality.
Their longing to the past is expressed in the juxtaposition of 1930s Hong Kong and
1980s Hong Kong. As mention above, the past story of Fleur and the story of
present couple, Yuan Ting and Chu, are intermingled. One of the purposes of the
juxtaposition is to highlight and emphasize the world of difference between two
versions of Hong Kong. The society of Hong Kong in 1980s is depicted through
the life of the present couple who are both so occupied with their works; they do
not even have enough time for work, let alone time for pleasure and relax. The first

Influences Of Social Bonds And Perceived Social...
Influences of Social Bonds and Perceived Social Expectations on Adolescent
Deviant Behavior Although juvenile arrest rates have declined by 65% from 1996 to
2014 (Office of Juvenile Justice and Delinquency Prevention, 2015), juvenile
delinquency is undoubtedly still a concern for practitioners, communities, and policy
makers in the United States. Seeking explanations of adolescent delinquency is a
continuing quest by the social sciences to aid prevention and intervention efforts.
Several quests have narrowed in on Social Bond Theory (Hischi, 1969), a foundation
in the social sciences to explain deviant behavior, which has stemmed considerable
research. This study is also concerned with perceived social expectations, as it is
likely youth take their social relationships into consideration before engaging in
certain acts. However, research on perceived social expectations and delinquency is
sparse. Social Bond Theory Travis Hirschi (1969) believed in the Hobbesian
assumption that all humans are intrinsically animalistic in nature and therefore
possess impulses that provide reasonable explanation of the motivation to commit
criminal or deviant acts. He argues that explaining delinquency falls not to the
question of why some people commit crimes but rather to why some people conform
and do not commit crimes. Social Bond Theory, later known as Social Control
Theory, sought to explain this conformity. Contributing to the framework of control
theories, which assume delinquency is
Child Seduction And Self-Representation On The Internet
Pedophiles in the internet:
In the scholarly article Child Seduction and Self Representation on the Internet by
Ethel Quayle and Max Taylor, we learn how the internet plays a big role in how
pedophiles may engage in child pornography and how they can locate children to
potentially abuse. Offenders also use the internet to get in contact and to
communicate with others who are also engaging in child pornography and pedophilia.
The following is an explanation of child sexual abuse that happens in the internet.
Quayle and Taylor explain that offenders use the internet for many reason. The
main reason is to remain anonymous, and to show that physical harm has not been
done if accused. Quayle and Taylor said, The function of online resources such as
child pornography is to heighten sexual arousal and disinhibition, and to aid in the
seduction of children through fantasy manipulation and masturbation (2001, p.
599). The individual in this scholarly article was named Q.X. Q.X was 33 years old
at the time of the study and he knew he had a sexual attraction to younger boys
(Quayle Taylor, 200, p. 599). The time Q.X bought a computer he wanted to be
able to access child pornography (Quayle Taylor, 200, p. 600). Q.X also had
fantasies. A conversation with Q. X s was written in the article and he mentioned
that he wanted a relationship with a boy who was 11 or 12 years old (Quayle
Taylor, 200, p. 601). Q.X then began to get into chat rooms where he would get

Guernica In Picasso And The Life Of Pablo Picasso
In the midst of political disparity in Spain between Nationalists and the Spanish
Republic there was a great act of terror. In a time when no combat had been seen
since that first world war, an act of unprovoked horror rained upon the small town of
Guernica in northern Spain. The act of intimidation was taking with disgust in the
eye of Picasso, which enacted his artistic statement. Guernica in Picasso s artistic life
represented his sentiments on terror and his people. Pablo Picassowas born a
Spaniard in the city of Malaga in 1881 to a professor of drawing, Jose Ruiz and
Maria Picasso. Pablo was naturally artistically talented and by the age of thirteen
he had surpassed the abilities of his father. By sixteen he had made a name for
himself after being awarded an honorable mention in a Fine Arts Exhibition in
Madrid. In the following years, Picasso suffered from the loss of close friend,
Carlos Casagemas, which strongly impacted his work. Marilyn McCully, a
biographical author, claimed that the death of Casagemas gave Picasso, the
emotional experience and the material that would stimulate the powerful
expressiveness of the works of the so called Blue Period (1). Picasso s Blue Period
is noted for its blue color and its characteristic expressive nature. In the works of
Picasso s Blue Period there is a common theme of strong emotional sorrow and
reflection which is relative to the artistic impact described by McCully. After moving
permanently to Paris, Picasso found new

reason he experienced these issues, is because when the nuclear bomb is dropped it

History of Internet
Before the the Internet was created, linking the world, human beings were already
thinking with a connected mind. While messages obviously were unable to be
transferred electronically, humans invented different ways to trade information
and news with other people. Firstly was the post. In order to send a friend a
message, a letter would have had to been written and mailed. Mailing messages
was a long process, often taking days to get one message to another person. This
method (still used today) was not the most convenient because there is no urgency
or speed in mailing a letter. Luckily in the mid 1800 s the telegraph was invented.
Sent for the first time in 1838, the telegraph was the first instance of sending a
message (4). A telegraph is defined as the transmission of textual or symbolic
messages without the physical exchange of an object. This is the first instance of a
message being sent in a virtual sense (2). While messages could be delivered through
the mail within a matter of days, a telegraph could be transmitted live. At the time this
was quite a feat. When studying the creation of the internet, it is important to
remember that not one single man directly created the web that we know today.
Rather, many brilliant minds, over time, added and refined the experience for the
greater good. Originally, the earliest version of the internet was constructed as a tool
for US warfare. The United States
A Study Of Bitopological Spaces
Abstract. In 1995, A.A. Nasef and T. Noiri [6] introduced the notion of strongly
пЃў irresolute functions. In the present paper, we generalize this notion to the setting
of bitopological spaces and obtain some characterizations and properties of pairwise
strongly semi preirresolute functions.
AMS Mathematics Subject Classifications (2010): 54E55, 54A05, 54C10, 54D05.
Key words and phrases: semi preopen, (i, j) semi preopen, semi preirresolute,
pairwise strongly semi preirresolute.
1. Introduction and preliminaries
The study of bitopological spaces was initiated by Kelly [4] in 1963. Abd ElMonsef
et al. [1] introduced the notion of
пЃў open sets and
пЃў continuity in topological spaces. On the other hand, Andrijevic [2] called
пЃў open sets semipreopen and obtained many properties of such subsets. Recently,
Khedr et al. [5] have investigated the notions of semi preopen sets and semi
precontinuity in bitopological spaces. In 1995, Nasef and Noiri [6] defined and
studied the concept of strongly
пЃў irresolute functions. The purpose of the present paper is to extend the concept of
strongly пЃў irresoluteness to the setting of bitopological spaces.
Throughout the present paper, (X, пЃґ1, пЃґ2) and (Y, 1, 2) always mean
bitopological spaces. For a subset A of a space X, пЃґi c1(A) (resp. пЃґi int(A))
denotes the closure (resp. interior) of A with respect to пЃґi
, for i = 1,2. However, пЃґi c1(A) and
пЃґi int(A) are briefly denoted by c1i(A) and inti(A), respectively, if there is no

A Leader Of Ministry Is No Easy Task
Being a leader in ministry is no easy task. We must be aware of God s action and be
able to point it out to others, guiding them in the faith. We are pastors everywhere
we go and in everything we do. We are Coworkers with Christ, taking part in His
reign on our lives.
God is identified as the creator and the one we look to in ministry. Before the
beginning of time, he was here. He created us and He knew our names even before
the earth was started. The one who put His plan of creation, fall, redemption, and new
creation into place. He created the heavens and the earth, all creatures, and us. God
knew Adam and Eve, the first people He made, would give in to temptation. Eating
from the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, made creation fall into sin and
darkness. He knew that through sending His son Jesus Christ, all of creation would
be saved through Him. Then He would proceed to make His new creation.
This is God s ministry. Everything he does in the world and in us is all for His
glory. God executed His unfailing plan of saving the world and its brokenness
through Christ. Jesus was sent down to earth as a human to die on the cross by
God to carry out His plan of redemption. You are saved through Jesus dying on the
cross. Christ is the agent of God s ministry. We don t have to choose God because
God already chose us. The only thing that involves you in ministry is the recognition
of what God has done and is doing.
We are all a part of God s story. Trinity s mission

for the Boston Tea Partyand other protests. Overall, the colonists were very wrathful
regarding all acts and did not want the British Empireruling over them. To summarize,
in the short span of thirteen years, the colonies went from being loyal subjects of
King George III to becoming rebels capable of overthrowing the most dominant
military nation on earth. To begin with, salutary neglect was an unauthorized, but a
long lasting British policy of avoiding harsh enforcement of parliamentary laws
indicated to keep the American colonies obedient to Great Britain. The policy

Essay On Media Bias

  • 1. Essay On Media Bias Crafting an essay on the theme of media bias can be both challenging and intricate. The subject itself is multifaceted, demanding a comprehensive understanding of media dynamics, journalistic ethics, and the impact of biased reporting on society. The difficulty lies not only in presenting a well-researched analysis but also in navigating the delicate balance between objectivity and personal perspective. The challenge begins with the vast amount of information available, ranging from academic studies to real-world examples. Sorting through this wealth of data to select relevant and credible sources is a task that requires careful consideration. Furthermore, the evolving nature of media and the emergence of new platforms add an additional layer of complexity, demanding an up-to-date awareness of the latest trends. One must also grapple with the ethical implications of media bias. Addressing the potential consequences of biased reporting on public opinion, political discourse, and social harmony requires a nuanced exploration of various perspectives. It's essential to approach the topic with sensitivity, acknowledging the fine line between journalistic freedom and responsible reporting. Crafting a compelling argument while avoiding personal bias is another hurdle. Striking a balance between expressing individual opinions and maintaining objectivity is an art. Each word choice, sentence structure, and paragraph composition must contribute to a cohesive narrative that educates and informs without veering into a subjective stance. In conclusion, writing an essay on media bias involves navigating through a complex web of information, ethical considerations, and the challenge of maintaining objectivity. It demands a careful selection of sources, a nuanced understanding of the topic, and the ability to present a coherent argument. Despite the difficulty, delving into this subject is crucial for fostering a deeper understanding of the media landscape and its impact on society. This essay will summarize, make an argument, and analyze Krystal Miller s article on this subject, titled, School Dress Codes . School Dress Codes is a 1990 article about the issues surrounding various city s experiences with enforcing a school dress code. In the article, four different high schools in Detroit are examined, as well as a school in Baltimore, Chicago, and Los Angeles. Depositions from both pro dress code and anti dress code persons are included. The opposing end includes Mary Louise Starks, who is in charge of the psychological services for the Detroit school system and says dress codes are not the solution to the violence, A dress code is a temporary measure that is limited in scope. Students are committing these crimes because they don t have a sense of power and self esteem. They steal from their peers to gain control over another person (qtd. in Miller 87). An example of a pro dress code student from the article is 17 year old Jonathon Johns, a senior at Dunbar High Schoolin Baltimore, who says, Violence isn t as bad as it was. There s no way to prove it s all due to the dress code, but I feel it s had a big impact (qtd. in Miller 87). There are several testimonies and

The idea of exploring someone s subconscious is the dream state, which is when you enter someone s dream. This is designed by the architect and filled with projections of the person s subconscious. In the state, your conscious is lowered and if not previously informed of entering the dream state, you will perceive it as reality. If you enter a dream within a dream, you are delving deeper into the person s subconscious. That is where secrets and important information is kept within your layers of consciousness. If you delve deep enough, you will reach the edge of your subconscious. This is dangerous though because to return to reality, you need the kick to be synchronized among all the layers of the subconscious. If you spend too long in the dream state, the lines of reality and dreaming can become blurred. In the movie, Cobb and his team are delving into Fischer s subconscious to plant the idea for him to break up his father s empire (Nolan, 2010). To do this, they must go very deep and plant the simplest of ideas, so his subconscious will run with it so consciously he will make the decision. They used him and his father s relationship, because that is the root of the idea they need to plant. It is not revealed in the movie though if the inception worked (Nolan, 2010). To be conscious is to have awareness of ourselves and our environment (Myers, 2011). Freud proposed the idea the our conscious was divided into the conscious, preconscious, and unconscious. The

Then the question that should be asked is why is racism, sexism, homophobia, transphobia etc. are still topics of discussion which can be observed in the book The Fire Next Time by James Baldwin as he talks about being in a part of the black community and the struggles he faces. Instead of teaching people to acknowledge each other s existence people were taught to ignore people who were different than themselves, to know that they were there without really... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... In order to overcome racism or homophobia would it be a better solution to accept other people s right to live as equal to ours or create a distinction between our lives and theirs. Because of these reasons that even though tolerance is a step towards bringing people together it is not as effective as acceptance. Barry Schwartz shows how the toleration is just the beginning by stating that perhaps fifty years ago for Jews in America tolerance was good enough: You don t have to approve of us or even respect us. Just leave us alone, let us use a little corner of your field, and we ll stay out of your way. Even if you don t let us into your prestigious universities and professional schools, as long as you don t bother us, we ll make do. but right now in the world that we are living in minorities demand Who are you to tolerate me? Who are you to say that my way of life is inferior to yours? Who are you to judge? (Schwartz) This points to the fact that for example for black people it is not enough anymore to be let by white people to have the same education, use the same toilets and eat in the same places. Which is an example of toleration. White people after many years learned to tolerate black people s right to be in the same space as they are yet the barrier is still there which can be very easily observed through the Black Lives Matter movement. Movement which arose as a campaign against violence and systemic racism against black people but turned into a way to see how white people turned a blind eye to racism that is still going on with suggesting All Lives Matter and rejected the fact that what black people asked was not more than equality. As we drift further away from the times that slavery was an option, people started to see that it got harder to outwardly hate black people.

Swimming is moving your body through a body of water, either a pool or ocean, using your arms and legs, while runningis moving quickly on land with your feet. Swimming is not a natural act but a learned talent. According to Dr. Howard Wainer, a swimmer and statistician at the Educational Testing Service in Princeton, N.J., the human bodywas not meant to move quickly through water. Most people believe that its harder to run than to swim but the fact is that it s harder to swim. In swimming water acts as the resistance while in running, air is the resistance. Water is a lot thicker than air which makes it harder to move through. When running, performance peters out as the distances get longer but in swimming the pace is consistent regardless of the distance. Swimming has a lot of benefits which most people don t know about. Swimming keeps your heartrate up without overstressing the body. It builds endurance, muscle strength and cardiovascular fitness. Swimming also keeps the heart and the lungs healthy. All the muscles are used while swimming so it s a good all over body workout. Also, according to research done

Over nine million soldiers and a large amount of innocent civilians lost their lives. Empires crumbled, revolution engulfed Russia and America rose to become a dominant world power. Huge armies deployed new weapons of devastating effect from rifles and pistols to torpedoes and flame throwers. These weapons were used not only in the trenches but by tanks too. This was an advantage to those who were able to access such machinery as they could easily launch bullets and missiles at nearby enemy bases. The downfall of the tank was the fact it was unable to cross the trenches. Tanks were not the only pieces of equipment that could access this machinery but U boats and planes too. The British carried bolt actionrifles in which fired 15 rounds per minute at a minimum range of 1,400 metres away. This allowed the British to take out foes at a far greater range. These three units can use certain equation to change its units from one to another. The specific heat is a term for a number of calories in heat needed to raise the temperature of 1g of substance by 1ВєC. A thermometer, beakers, and calorimeter were frequently used in this lab. Procedure The initial temperature of the water was measured when it is in beaker. When the salt is added, it is concluded how salt can lower the water temperature. The temperature was measured in Celsius and was changed to both Fahrenheit and Kelvin. The second experiment involved the heat exchange between metal and water. • 25. Society s Attitude Towards The Drinking Age Society s attitude towards the drinking age has been a major controversy in the United States. The attitudes regarding the drinking age have been based off statistics and society s varying opinion. Alcohol is a toxic depressant that has a damaging effect on the human body. As a result, to prevent excessive alcoholic consumption, the ratification of the 18th amendment took place from 1919 to 1939. This established the Prohibition Act, which banned the transportation, manufacturing and selling of an alcoholic beverage. However, illegal production of alcohol continued to take place in secret. Gradually prohibition laws became difficult to enforce. As a result, the Prohibition Act was repealed in 1933. In 1984, congress mandated a law which would raise the drinking age from 18 to 21 through the National Minimum Drinking Age. Reasoning for mandating an older drinking age, was to enhance public safety and promote good health. In 1988, all 50 states enforced the drinking age to 21. The concern for the consumption of alcohol have targeted teenagers and young adults Society proposes at the age of eighteen an individual is mature and responsible to make decisions without the consent of a parent or guardian. In the United States an eighteen year old is considered a legal adult. By law you are able to fight for your country, vote, and buy cigarettes. Some impose, giving a newly young adult the privilege to consume alcohol would enhance their responsibility as an adult. Mary Cary from

The ancient prophecy speaks of a golden cat whose coming will heal the troubled world. But the Queen of Cats has three golden kittens and when two are stolen away, the distraught parents turn to Tag, the brave young catwho is the protector of the magical Wild Road. As Tag and his friends struggle on, so does a terrifying, unearthly force a preternatural vortex threatening the Wild Road, tearing at the very fabric of existence. But Tag is disastrously unprepared for the powerful darkness that threatens to consume everything in its walk. This in itself can be interpreted as some sort of a dance. This shows that although the two are different in so many ways, they are still close kindred and can change with each other. However, more importantly, the changing of the cat s eyes could also link with Gonne s changing relationships with various other

From the start of the great depression to the war little was black and white. The reasoning you gave to the situation would probably give a clue as to where you fit in the status quo. However, this paper is about bringing to light if I think the new deal was successful or not. In my opinion yes the new deal was a success, though not entirely in the way intended. To start off I should give a little background to help understand what the new deal was fighting, and I will stick more to the agricultural side of the depression in the interest of brevity. The main culprit that hurt the citizens of the U.S. was unemployment. This came about due to a couple of factors. But in my opinion the most important ones are credit, and deflation due to abundance. Both of these reasons abound in the agricultural sector of the time. With world war one being a catalyst farm size grew exponentially with the need to supply efforts overseas. This lead to the need to take out loans to buy expensive machines to work the larger areas. So when the war was over the farmers were still producing at the same quantities to try and maintain their farms. With all of this excess the prices on farm produce dropped to almost nothing. This is lead to many farms being foreclosed on. This was just one area where this happened similar situations occurred in the industrial sector with many

One such passage is found in the Book of Exodus 11:1 10 and 12:29 32 in which, The Lord struck all the first born in the land of Egypt, from the first born of Pharaoh who sat on his throne, to the cattle. While not directly referencing to the passage, he argues that although it may seem in certain Scripture passages God acts or orders others to act in a way contrary to virtue, He does not because that would be against His nature. In fact Thomas establishes the justness of God taking a life because He is the author of life and death. Therefore, to take the passage literally would not be regarded as unjust or contrary to God s nature, because life was a gift given to man in the first place, not a right that we

Also, the story of Fleur is in the past tense but it is an unfinished story which keeps presenting and haunting the present. Influences of Social Bonds and Perceived Social Expectations on Adolescent Deviant Behavior Although juvenile arrest rates have declined by 65% from 1996 to 2014 (Office of Juvenile Justice and Delinquency Prevention, 2015), juvenile delinquency is undoubtedly still a concern for practitioners, communities, and policy makers in the United States. Seeking explanations of adolescent delinquency is a continuing quest by the social sciences to aid prevention and intervention efforts. Several quests have narrowed in on Social Bond Theory (Hischi, 1969), a foundation in the social sciences to explain deviant behavior, which has stemmed considerable research. This study is also concerned with perceived social expectations, as it is likely youth take their social relationships into consideration before engaging in certain acts. However, research on perceived social expectations and delinquency is sparse. Social Bond Theory Travis Hirschi (1969) believed in the Hobbesian assumption that all humans are intrinsically animalistic in nature and therefore possess impulses that provide reasonable explanation of the motivation to commit criminal or deviant acts. He argues that explaining delinquency falls not to the question of why some people commit crimes but rather to why some people conform and do not commit crimes. Social Bond Theory, later known as Social Control Theory, sought to explain this conformity. Contributing to the framework of control theories, which assume delinquency is

Child Seduction And Self-Representation On The Internet Pedophiles in the internet: In the scholarly article Child Seduction and Self Representation on the Internet by Ethel Quayle and Max Taylor, we learn how the internet plays a big role in how pedophiles may engage in child pornography and how they can locate children to potentially abuse. Offenders also use the internet to get in contact and to communicate with others who are also engaging in child pornography and pedophilia. The following is an explanation of child sexual abuse that happens in the internet. Quayle and Taylor explain that offenders use the internet for many reason. The main reason is to remain anonymous, and to show that physical harm has not been done if accused. Quayle and Taylor said, The function of online resources such as child pornography is to heighten sexual arousal and disinhibition, and to aid in the seduction of children through fantasy manipulation and masturbation (2001, p. 599). The individual in this scholarly article was named Q.X. Q.X was 33 years old at the time of the study and he knew he had a sexual attraction to younger boys (Quayle Taylor, 200, p. 599). In a time when no combat had been seen since that first world war, an act of unprovoked horror rained upon the small town of Guernica in northern Spain. The act of intimidation was taking with disgust in the eye of Picasso, which enacted his artistic statement. Guernica in Picasso s artistic life represented his sentiments on terror and his people. Picasso s Blue Period is noted for its blue color and its characteristic expressive nature. In the works of Picasso s Blue Period there is a common theme of strong emotional sorrow and reflection which is relative to the artistic impact described by McCully. • 35. History Of Internet On The World Josh Margolis EMF140 November 2, 2015 History of Internet Before the the Internet was created, linking the world, human beings were already thinking with a connected mind. While messages obviously were unable to be transferred electronically, humans invented different ways to trade information and news with other people. Firstly was the post. In order to send a friend a message, a letter would have had to been written and mailed. Mailing messages was a long process, often taking days to get one message to another person. This method (still used today) was not the most convenient because there is no urgency or speed in mailing a letter. Luckily in the mid 1800 s the telegraph was invented. Sent for the first time in 1838, the telegraph was the first instance of sending a message (4). A telegraph is defined as the transmission of textual or symbolic messages without the physical exchange of an object. This is the first instance of a message being sent in a virtual sense (2). While messages could be delivered through the mail within a matter of days, a telegraph could be transmitted live. At the time this was quite a feat. When studying the creation of the internet, it is important to remember that not one single man directly created the web that we know today. Rather, many brilliant minds, over time, added and refined the experience for the greater good. Originally, the earliest version of the internet was constructed as a tool for US warfare. Introduction and preliminaries The study of bitopological spaces was initiated by Kelly [4] in 1963. Abd ElMonsef et al. [1] introduced the notion of пЃў open sets and пЃў continuity in topological spaces. On the other hand, Andrijevic [2] called пЃў open sets semipreopen and obtained many properties of such subsets. Recently, Khedr et al. [5] have investigated the notions of semi preopen sets and semi precontinuity in bitopological spaces. In 1995, Nasef and Noiri [6] defined and studied the concept of strongly пЃў irresolute functions. The purpose of the present paper is to extend the concept of strongly пЃў irresoluteness to the setting of bitopological spaces. We are pastors everywhere we go and in everything we do. We are Coworkers with Christ, taking part in His reign on our lives. God is identified as the creator and the one we look to in ministry. Before the beginning of time, he was here. He created us and He knew our names even before the earth was started. The one who put His plan of creation, fall, redemption, and new creation into place. He created the heavens and the earth, all creatures, and us. God knew Adam and Eve, the first people He made, would give in to temptation. Eating from the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, made creation fall into sin and darkness. He knew that through sending His son Jesus Christ, all of creation would be saved through Him. Then He would proceed to make His new creation. This is God s ministry. Everything he does in the world and in us is all for His glory. God executed His unfailing plan of saving the world and its brokenness through Christ. Jesus was sent down to earth as a human to die on the cross by God to carry out His plan of redemption. You are saved through Jesus dying on the cross. Christ is the agent of God s ministry. Nevertheless, when the French and Indian War had finally come to an end, the British had severe debt and was left with possible solutions which only revolved around taxing the colonies.
