Musical Theatre History
The collaboration of musical theatre combines the drama aspect and plots of stage plays while
adding musical components. The plot and a variety of emotions including love, passion, anger,
sadness, and humor, are all presented through words and music. Musical theatre has changed
tremendously over time, from operas to orchestras to full fledged plays. However, from the
beginning until now the art form has carried a great influence in the world of performance. This
essay will explore the history of musical theatrefrom birth until now.
The ancient Greeks and Roman s had plays and comedies that contained music and dance routines.
That being said they disappeared long ago so they did not influence or give start to the world of

This, and other British ballad operas, ballets and pantomimes, formed the majority of musicals
offered on American stages in the beginning of the 1800 s. The roots of the music we know
today can be dated back to the French and Viennese operettas. Operettes are light musical
comedies that would often provide broad satire and wit to the stage, combined with bright
melodies and high energy. These would be the blueprint for all musical theatre to come. The
Black Crook was the first piece to fit modern musicals. The play premiered in 1866 in New York
City and was a staggering success. Once the modern musical was developed there was more
opportunity for theoretical advances. Broadway saw its fair share of musicals during the 1890 s
and the number continued to grow during the 20th century. The theatre experienced a boom in
business with the start of World War I; given the devastation of the battlefield audiences flocked to
the stages in order to get some escapism. As the 20th century continued musical theatre began to
grow in popularity and quality. The public ruled heavily in favor of musicals, so the 1980s brought
a succession of long running Brit hits to Broadway, such as Cats, Les Miserables, Phantom of the
Opera and Miss Saigon.

Government Vs Federal Government
George Smith wrote that Thomas Jefferson believed the distribution of power among federal, state,
county, and local agencies was indispensable to America s system of fundamental balances and
checks for the government. (Smith, 2012) Today federal, state, and local governments still play
important roles in the operations of public schools through providing funding, policies, scope and
organization of school systems. Through the years, the federal governmenthas increased their
position in governing public schools, stategovernment works to guide and offer clarification, and
local governmentis responsible for the day to day affairs.
In Federal Control of Public Schools and the Decline of Community Carl Bankston III discusses the
fact that the US Constitution makes no reference to schools or education. Since there is no direct
mention the Tenth Amendment reserves all the power to be held at the state and to the people. In
fact, federal government had no say in the first public schools, all power was delegated to the state.
It wasn t until after the Civil War that the federal government would become involved with public
education. Then after each war federal involvement would continue to increase. Court cases like
Brown vs. The Board of Education, Swann v. Charlotte Mecklenburg, and Green vs. County School
Board would be influential in the federal governments control. Even with the added involvement
the U.S. Department of Education states that the Federal contribution

Exodus Decoded Essay
The main argument in Exodus Decoded was that the Exodus actually happened and is not just a
story in the Bible. There were many strengths and weaknesses in Simcha Jacobovici s
experiment. In the movie, he was excavating a site where Moses followers had lived and before
going to the sacred land and that was a strength in his experiment because he was where it began
in the story. A weakness he had was that he never seemed to be wrong when it comes to finding
where Mosesand his followers ended up and to see if the Exodusreally happened. Another strength
was that he had the Stella of Ahmose. This helped explain what the Exodus was. Pharaoh Ahmose s
was an important person to find because in the exodus it was said that Ahmose went with Moses...

This is because to me it seemed more dramatic than an actual experiment. Throughout the video
he would say no one knew something that happened in the Exodus, or some proof of the exodus
was never found until now. I feel that it was not impressive. I feel like he was a bit goofing off
with the drama of the video. Also, when he brought up the Ark of Covenant and where it was
place lasted. He had no solid proof as to where it was. No one knows where the Ark of Covenant
is since the exodus and I believe if we knew where the exact one from the Exodus is, then we will
be able to clearly stated that the Exodus happened. The Ark of Covenant is an important artifact
when dealing with the Exodus. There were many areas in this video where I could not stay
focused while watching it because of what I feel like was cliche to do to be dramatic when they
thought they found something. In all the dramatic scenes, there was not one moment where he did
not find something. This documentary just seem too good to be true. Some aspects of this video
just did not really fit in. It jumped around a bit I feel. That made it a little confusing which did not
make it compelling for me. Although I did enjoy watching the movie and learning a few things from

Mass Media And Its Effect On Society
Mass Media are organizations in our society. The medium industries provide information and
entertainment, but mass media also can affect political, social, and cultural institutions.
Mediums such as radio, newspapers, and television all reflect and affect American society.
However, the main one that I am going to discuss is Radio. Radio is more effective in mass
media as compared to the other mediums. The way radio was back then is way different from
what it is in society today, it has changed over time. People believe that radio is one of the dying
mediums, but that s false. Radio has saved plenty of lives through communication. Radio has
been the first device to allow for mass communication. It changed the pace at which information
was exchanged. Radio broadcasts that exist in society today didn t began until after World War
I. Radio was used during the war to communicate. But, the federal government had ordered all
professionals off the air taking control over all stations. Back in 1920, KDKA was licensed as
the nation s first commercial broadcast in the United States. The audience began to expand very
quickly because advertisers began to see how well the broadcast was doing. In addition, seeing
that the audience was expanding they started to think about how they would make money. So, AT
T radio broadcast station (WEAF) became the first paid commercial, they began selling limited
advertisement time to sponsors. This led to success. Radio back then was and still is a

Ethics Essay
Our case study discusses the rise and fall of one of the largest telecommunications corporations in
the world, Nortel Networks Corporation. Nortel was one of the many early 21st century
telecommunications companies that failed due to upper echelon management, a dysfunctional
board of directors, inflated costs and earnings, and a smoke and mirrors illusion of stability. There
were many avenues that could have been taken that would have prevented the demise and fall of the
organization, but those roads were not traveled. Many argue that government intervention could
have prevented the backlash and whitewater effect of Nortels bankruptcy, but due to corporate ties
within the government and the Securities and Exchange Commission the many... Show more

Although initially they created unintended unethical behavior which probably resulted from a
dysfunctional management team, those initial ideas would later lead to several action sequences
that would have lasting effects. The two moral imperatives of do not lie and do unto others as you
want done to you were not attributes that several of the board members held (Collins, 2011, pg. 24).
There are a multitude of mechanisms that should be put in place to better align managers with the
interests of shareholders, and the government plays a big part of that puzzle. Agency problems arise
when the management of a public company pursues its own economic self interest ahead of
shareowners and secondary stakeholder s interests and portrays disregard for the respect for others
and does not reflect at atmosphere of corporate citizenship. This behavior may manifest itself in the
form of golden parachutes, long term employment contracts, corporate jets, and other perquisites.
Managers are susceptible to human nature and may pursue their own economic agendas without
any concern for maximizing the wealth of the shareowners (Anson, White, McGrew, Butler, 2004).
Nortel investors complained that even in its downward spiral, the executives received bonuses and
issued excessively optimistic projections. Soon there would not be much left other than the lawsuits
alleging issuance of misleading financial statements and blatant insider trading

Baroque Vs. Baroque Era
Baroque is a complex term used to describe what was thought to be a messy, vaguely disgusting
style. Potentially coming from the Spanish words barrueco meaning a rough or imperfect pearl or
berruca the term for wart , Baroque came to be a generalized term for art, architecture, music, and
sculpture from the 16th century to the early 18th century (Klindt Jensen 2015). Not only was the
Baroqueperiod long lasting, but it was far reaching as well. From Holland to Spain, Germany to
France, the Baroque style began in Romeand Italy around 1600 and quickly spread to most of
Europe, eventually reaching colonial South America in the 18th Century (Fargis 1998). Similar to
terms such as Gothic or Mannerism, the term Baroque began in a... Show more content on

Second, planar to recession. Figures no longer purely stood parallel to the canvas, and instead
had depth and spatial relations. Third, the change from closed to open form: the
acknowledgement of the viewer and the painting s relation to the physical world with
conflicting angles and the ability to be out of frame . Fourth, the idea of unity in a painting
where no single image could be isolated due to lighting and significance. Finally, the change from
absolute clarity to relative clarity, the potential for a subjective painting, one which could be read
as a story. Painters such as Caravaggio presented their works as theatrical displays, with intense
lighting bringing the figures to the stage. Styles such as Tenebrism, Chiaroscuro, and Leonardo
De Vinci s Sfumato used fine shading and the drastic contrast between light and darkness to bring
dramatic elements to their works, as though they had their own personal spotlight. Eclectic of the
High Renaissance, Baroque painting was an evolution of style, aggregating what were the
preferred styles from the past and adapting them to the painter s personal use. Peter Paul Rubens,
a Flemish painter, was one of the best known painters whom mastered the power of the Baroque.
His works such as the Raising of the Cross portrayed Jesus as a heroic figure, with intense lighting
and even more intense facial features (Scribner 2017.)

attractiveness of male dates) and Fig.2 (men s rating for attractiveness of female dates). In Fig.1

than 5 out of 10 in the scales, but women never gave men with low willingness such high ratings in
all four categories of attractiveness.

Lao Tzu Analysis
Being deeply loved by someone gives you strength, while loving someone deeply gives you
courage (Lao Tzu). Lao Tzu is a Chinese philosopher who lived in the sixth century B.C and his
work has embraced by both various anti authoritarian movements. This quotes interact with the
ancient text the Tao Te Chin because they both describes love have a strength and that strength
allows the leader to encounter challenges. Tzu believed if masters are love by his people is the
best ruler because the leader gain strength from the people love and loving all the citizens in the
state allows ruler to do favorable things for the people. Government vicious qualities is better than
the virtuous qualities because nefarious character of a ruler strictly controls people and prevent
them to do unacceptable things.Furthermore, Government is best when people fear of them
because Adolf Hitler is a brutal leader and he cause the holocaust, however many people likes him
because they believe everything he did to protect Germany. On the contrary, Tzu classified leader
as a four different categorize and he mention when the master governs and the people do not
realize the master present is the best government because he likes an anarchic system, so no one
can control over him. His views are corresponds with a Thoreau s view on government and he also
comments that government is best which governs not at all . This describes that there is a
similarity between Thoreau and Tzu because when government

Mise-en-Scene in Napoleon Dynamite Essay
Mise en Scene in Napoleon Dynamite
In Napoleon Dynamite (Jared Hess, 2004), the character known as Napoleon Dynamite (Jon
Heder) is quite a unique fellow. His quirkiness and eccentricity are what make him as a character;
they are the primary traits of his personality. Keep in mind, however, that he is not the only odd
character in the film, but he has his own peerless way of defining himself separate from any other
character(s). This effect is achieved through certain cinematic techniques that director Jared Hess
utilizes in order to bring out Napoleon s persona in ways other than simply guessing who he really
is. Rather, these techniques explicitly imply certain character traits; they are like clues that allow

Additionally, considerable portion of the significant sound in the film occurs in the music. The
most blatant effect of the music is the cheesy MIDI arrangements. These outdated compositions
portray the tackiness of Napoleon; he and the music are clearly out of style. One of the crudest
examples of this is when Napoleon buys his suit; the muzak in the background is as unbearably
corny as Napoleon s taste in clothing. Albeit music is a fundamental factor in Napoleon Dynamite,
it is not the only element of sound that is relevant.
The sound effects in the film also give clues as to what kind of person Napoleon really is. One
supporting example is when he is eating tots in the middle of class. The unnecessarily loud
crunching noise portrays his manifest lack of craftiness and style. There was one audio technique,
however, that was extremely puzzling. In every scene inside a house, there is a very subtle
background of birds chirping. This emphasizes the fact that Napoleon lives a rural community,
rather than a busy suburb or city setting. This sound is extremely understated, however, and is
obviously intended to be a subconscious feature to the viewer.
Napoleon uses some of his own characteristic sounds in the film to facilitate who he is. As a matter
of fact, the first sound he makes in the movie is long, depressed sigh when he sees the school bus
approaching. This

Naturalism Vs Supernaturalism
Gary complains that my definition of weak naturalism is narrow, and then proceeds to conflate that
definition with naturalism, claiming I equivocate. Allow me then to clarify so that any further
discussion can be clear. My claim that As far as we know, the natural world is all there is, is not,
pace Gary s claim, a knowledge claim about fundamental reality. It is agnostic about fundamental
reality. This is a crucial distinction, as Gary is at pains to maintain the position of false equivalence
between weak naturalism and supernaturalism. My position clearly states as far as we know ,
thereby delineating a point beyond our current level of knowledge (know). Weak naturalism does
not enter this unknown country, rather it maintains that... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
Examples of where I had previously used weak naturalism to posit a prima facie case for
naturalism, provide no contradiction or suggestion that my definition of weak naturalism is
anything less than clear. Ie. Naturalism makes a knowledge claim about fundamental reality
whereas weak naturalism does not. Gary appears to think I was arguing that naturalism can be
proven from premises that (1) nature exists; and (2) there is no evidence of a supernatural reality)
that nature is all there is (which, of course, does not follow) . My essay argued that there was a
false equivalence between the two metaphysical views, not that I considered naturalism proven by
the limits of our knowledge. In any case, making a straw man of my claims does nothing to
substantiate claims of a supernatural realm. To refute weak naturalism the supernaturalist needs to
provide positive evidence of a supernatural world. It is not sufficient to present semantic
disagreement on what the terms mean or to attempt to puncture weak naturalism by conflating and
straw manning the concept. It is trivially true that the world exists, and undoubtedly true that we
have no compelling evidence of a world beyond. The question is: what sort of evidence would be
adequate to refute weak naturalism? And by degree, this question becomes, what quantum of
evidence would be sufficient

Cremation Tools Case Study

It is vital for funeral homes to start taking the time and effort to market and advertise cremation
products. With the increase in cremation as the final disposition of a body, it will be to the funeral
homes interest to take the time and money to advertise and offer cremation products to the families
they serve. I truly believe that cremation will take over this industry within the next ten years. I
understand that funeral homes try to veer away from cremation, but if the funeral home takes the

Cremation Caskets: When a family chooses cremation as the type of disposition of their loved

will also be an upcharge due to the personalized wants put onto the urns or keepsakes. I would say
that a family is looking at prices between $350 and higher.
Pet Memorial Products: Depending on what type of pet memorial product the family chooses will

Essay about The Laramie Project
The Laramie Project, written by MoisГ©s Kaufman, is a compilation of interviews by The Tectonic

where the murder took place, to interview people about what happened and how they felt about the

A lot of the townspeople from Laramie were shocked that the criminals were from their own

while others wanted to make the townspeople accountable. My secret hope was that they were
from somewhere else, that then of course you can create that distance: We don t grow children
like that here. Well, it s pretty clear that we do grow children like that here (Jacobus 1640). it
happened here...we need to own this crime. I feel. Everyone needs to own it...We ARE like this

what it boils down to: if I don t tell you I m a fag, you won t beat the crap out of me. I mean, what

##amophosis, And The Metamorphosis
Feeling like an outsider in normal in today s society; everyone has felt excluded at least once,
whether it be something as small as a conversation or as a large as not being invited to an event.
However, there are other people who have been completely left out, people who don t fit into a
particular group or ideal and are left out because they are different. Some may argue that they are
excluded because they are misunderstood, but that is not the case. The short story The
Metamorphosis, by Franz Kafka, the video Franz Kafka and Metamorphosis by BBC, and personal
experience prove that people are excluded because they are different from what is considered
normal, and not due to a misunderstanding or being misjudged.
In the short story The Metamorphosis, by Franz Kafka, the main character, Gregor, is turned into
a beetle and is excluded by his family. The reason for his exclusion was because he was different.
He could no longer speak or move humanly, and no longer looked human. Although his family
thinking he could not understand them may be part of the reason for his exclusion, but the fact
that he would have still been excluded eventually debunks the idea. It is human nature to reject
something different from them. For example, Mrs. Samsa, Gregor s mother and had even begged
in paragraph 62, Let me go to Gregor...Don t you understand I have to go to him? . However, when
she finally did see him, she fainted. Even though she had wanted to see him and most likely

Comparing Aquinas And St. Bonaventure
Theology in the middle ages, was the leading fascination to the human minds especially the
theologians or more specifically the scholastics. Some of the scholastics who were fascinated by
God are well known and those people are St. Bonaventure and Thomas Aquinas. Thus far, the two
scholastics have interesting theories on knowing godbut only one is better than the other to prove
that god exists. Thomas Aquinas(while disliking the idea) and St. Bonaventure try to establish this
by pointing out reason, revelation and eventually knowing god. Therefore, the idea of reason should
be well established by either one of the theologians.
The idea of knowing god through the method of reason is how these two theologians attack this
subject. Thomas ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
Aquinas uses the five ways to prove of the God s existence by indicating; the motion that makes
things possible and makes things work, of efficient cause things happen because of a cause so

is not really perfect because of things that happen God is responsible and the final way is the
governance of the world how things are ordered in the world because of God. In which this is his
version of pursuing the idea of divine illumination. Bonaventure has merely the different aspect but
in his way he describes how he exists is by stating the fact that we are created in God s image in
this contemplation consists the perfect illumination of our mind, when, as it were, on the sixth day
it sees man made to the image of God. The idea expressed by Bonaventure indicates that from the
moment humans were created resembles how the people have the divine illumination of the mind.

involvement. However, the Correlates of War Project (C.O.W. Project), only provides data on
American military action after 1816. But, many armed conflicts preceding 1816, played a crucial

Project will be documented and observed, such as the Las Cuevas War or the Korean Affair of
1871. Lastly, some separate conflicts within the C.O.W. will be combined which represent a near
identical foreign policy. Particularly, all Native American conflicts will be combined and all wars
in the Caribbean region following the Spanish American War, which share the same purpose, will
be referred to as the Banana Wars . However, distinctly important Native American wars will be
mentioned, as well as Native American wars with significant foreign involvement. American armed
conflicts have been divided into three periods for organizational purposes. Therefore, the following
writing will attempt to observe American responsibility for the Cold War using war information,
data, and patterns. The first major period of American foreign policy began in 1756, with the
outbreak of the French and Indian war, and ends with the start of the Mexican American war in
1846. This period has been chosen because it constitutes the formation of the American nation and
identity. Many military actions and wars helped shape American identity prior to independence.
However, the French and Indian War was the only major war in the American region before the
Revolutionary War. The French and Indian War essentially comprised the global Seven Years War
within the North American theater. In Europe war began in 1754, Great Britain, Prussia, and
regions of the Holy Roman Empire fought against

Feed The Good. Noga Sklar
Feed the good Noga Sklar Not that I did not know it, since it affected me personally in such a
profound way, but I wasn t really aware of it, until I read it on Wednesday morning in the
Thomas Friedman s column in The New York Times: In 2007, Apple came out with the iPhone,
beginning the smartphone/ apps revolution; in late 2006 Facebook opened its doors to anyone,
not just college and high school students, and took off like a rocket; Google came out with the
Android operating system in 2007; [...] Amazon came out with the Kindle in 2007. As I
affirmed so many times, KBR, the publishing company I started in 2008, was based upon the
Kindle to such an extent that is was originally named KindleBookBr, until Amazon asked us to
change it. Just for the record, the K in KBR still accounts for our beloved Kindle. I can barely
figure out how this technological surge has affected so many people, particularly in the U.S.,
where all these novelties were created, encouraged and adopted in a heartbeat. I remember the
debate after Obama s first election, about whether or not to allow him to keep his Blackberry as
president. Can anyone imagine such a discussion today? Blackberries are long gone, and
technology is still considered an enemy of sorts in third world countries, such as Brazil (sorry,
folks), where this very week WhatsApp was blocked by a judge for 72 hours, because they refused
to give information they didn t even have access to. I wasn t surprised to discover

E Commerce Vs. Electronic Commerce
There are plenty of ways to define the definition of E commerce. For example, according to the
Oxford Dictionary, E commerce or electronic commerce is the commercial transaction that
conducted electronically on the Internet. Some people define E commerce as the processes of
buying, selling, or exchanging products, services, and information by using the computer network
technology such as the Internet. E commerce does not only provide the function of buying and
selling goods and services online via digital mediums such as Internet, but the function facilitating
the entire purchasing and selling processes for both sellers and buyers (JENNEX, AMOROSO and
ADELAKUN, 2004). The website INVESTOPEDIA.com stated that E commerce is one type of the

E commerce has built a nearly perfect market because immediate and people are able to compare
the offerings from numerous sellers worldwide. The growth of E commerce has numerous
advantages over the traditional stores or brick and mortar stores, which include greater flexibility,
improved market outreach, lower cost structures, faster transactions, broader product lines, greater
convenience, and customization (Srinivasan, Anderson and Ponnavolu, 2002). E commerce
provides opportunities to businesses especially in developing countries to access to the global
market and reduce the transaction costs, and also helps developing countries to overcome the
world economy problems (Lawrence and Tar, 2010). Since E commerce enables all businesses
from anywhere in the world to access to the global market, all people have equally chance to
compete with the others. Without E commerce, it is almost impossible for small medium
enterprises (SMEs) to compete with the large organizations due to the amount of the capitals that
makes the larger organizations to hold the advantages over the smaller organizations. E commerce
is involved the use of the information technology (IT) to improve the communications and
transactions with all of an organization s stakeholders. E commerce is also used as a new
innovation strategy to raise business competitiveness,

Silence In A Room Of One s Own And Aurora Leigh
Silence In Virginia Woolf s A Room of One s Own and Elizabeth Barrett Browning s Aurora
Leigh, women stay silent as men flourish in achieving their greatest potential. In her academic
journal, Sexology and A Room of One s Own, Patricia Moran believes that, A Room of One s
Own is arguably the most influential essay of feminist literary criticism (Moran 477). Females,
as noted in these two works, remain limited to the works of their home and unexposed to the first
class world of literature. They are required to dedicate their work and effort to a dominant male
figure in their lives. Both Woolf and Browning argue that women live silently and restricted to
the authority of their husband, parents, or a close relative. Despite the different time and
literary periods of Aurora Leigh and A Room of One s Own, Browning and Woolf portray their
female characters as stuck in their sense of identity. These women are regulated to the family
society, discouraged from having a role in the literary realm, and expected to appear complacent
to their male figures. Due to the lack of education and tactics needed to succeed monetarily,
women become confined to the close proximity of their children, spouse, and related social
circle. At the beginning of Aurora Leigh, Aurora s description of her aunt gives readers an
understanding of the type of women she is in society She stood straight and calm, Her somewhat
narrow forehead braided tight As if for taming accidental thoughts From possible pulses; brown hair
pricked with gray By frigid use of life (272 276).
Aurora s detailed descriptions of her aunt reveals the admiration that society has for women of
comparable character. Aurora s never ending analysis of the aunt s personality and identity allude to
the idea that Elizabeth Barrett Browning pities women that limit their role in society to that of the
aunt. Likewise, Woolf uses a fictional example of William Shakespeare s sister to expose the
expectations that a woman would have in Shakespeare s day. Judith, as adventurous, as
imaginative, as agog to see the world as he [Shakespeare] was, would be required to fulfill the duty
of a woman, thus preventing her sharp mind to wander outside of her domestic roles.

How Did Isabella I Build A Country
Isabella I of Castile s Life During the late middle ages to the r enaissance, Isabella I of Castile was
a powerful queen of Spain. Have you ever thought of what it would be like to reconstruct a country?
Studying this important historical figure, I had uncovered many important and interesting facts
about Isabella I of Castile. During her reign, she brought stability to her empire as she decreased
nobles power. Queen Isabella I of Castile formed the most powerful empire in Europe,
ambitiously ruled her empire, and devoted herself to Christianity. Isabella I was born in April
22, 1451 into the royal family of John II of Castile and Isabella of Portugal in the town of
Madgrigal de las Altas Torres. After Isabella I s father died in 1454, her mother, Isabella of
Portugal, raised her. She had blonde hair with auburn and chestnut hues and a light skin tone
which was unusual because most Spanish ladies had dark hair and olive skin tone. She had
medium height for her era. Isabella I was a kind, intelligent and ambitious woman. When she was
younger, she was tutored by monks in poetry, music, philosophy, sewing and horseback riding.
She grew up regretted her absence of schooling so she learned Latin as a middle aged woman.

Feelings About Writing
Writing. Writing is a no. I do not like writing and it does not like me. I have very little good
experiences with it. Maybe even none. The only good writing I can do is outside of school. When
I attempt it in school, I forget words, how to spell them, and how to phrase them. Its like being in
Kindergarten again. Id have just as much luck writingin a different language. If one day i end up
with an idea, i start spewing out millions of others too go with it. With so many things bumping
around in my mind i find it more frustrating to put it into words.
Me and writing are like, Zordon and the Mighty Morphin Power Rangers if you re into that. Or
Batman and Joker if that s more relatable for you. The point is that we are enemies in constant
battle with each other. Too bad our conflict can t be made into a movie. Someone else would write
the script of course.
If I wanted to bring up any experience I ve had with writing, they would all be leaning to the
negative side. That s if I can remember one long enough to fill a paragraph. For instance, I could
bring up the special group I got put in in first grade. It wasn t specifically for writing, but I guess it
was an experience. Or I could bring up the ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...

Demand and Supply
Demand and supply The term demand refers to the quantity of a given product that consumers
will be willing and able to buy at a given price. As a general common sense rule the higher the
price of a particular product the lower will be the demand for it . The term supply refers to the
quantity of a particular product that suppliers (producers and/or sellers) will make available to the
market at a particular price. The higher the price, the greater the quantity that suppliers will be
willing to supply to the market. Markets consist of individual or groups of businesses that are
prepared to supply a product, and customers who demand the product. Market price is determined
by the interaction of the forces of demand and supply.... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
In the modern high tech world there are also important factors that influence supply. Nowhere is
this truer than in the development of new production technologies leading to the production of
high volume low cost goods. For example, in recent years Coca Cola has developed high tech
canning factories that use less costly and cheaper materials in the production of cans. Wants a
want is simply a desire for a product; it is not the same thing as demand. Effective demand refers
to a desire for a product that is backed up by a purchasing decision. For demand to be effective
the consumer needs to have the money required to make the purchase. Elasticity of demand
refers to the sensitivity of demand to a change in price. The more sensitive demand is (i.e. the
more it changes) to a price change the more elastic it is said to be. Actions Whats this? Using the

The Curse Of The Poisened Pretzel Analysis
In the story, The curse of the poisened pretzel, the author develops his point of views in many
ways. He does this without actually stating that Skidmore is guilty. There are many rumors
about why they think he killed his brother and this is why. One of the most promising rumors is
the fact that skiddmore was extremely jelous of his older brother. The majority of the reasoning
behind this is the fact that he was allergic to bubble gum and he saw his older brother flaunting it
as an insult. The fame and riches it brought made the ordeal even worse. Another reason that
people think Skidmore killed his brother was because he wasnt as liked by everyone. His older
brother was a very well liked man that everyone loved. Unlike his bro he gave people

Cultural Studies On Race And Social Classes
In today s society, culture is impacting our everyday life, experience and social relations; we are

the British academic scholars. The British scholars were able engaged cultural analysis and the

religious beliefs that sway society over they have and have not s. We come in contact every day
with cultural diversity in the workplace, schools and need to learn to not offend another person
based on their cultural group. Most people assume how a person is based on their appearances and
their race.
In today s society, people are closed minded, and do not take the opportunity getting to know the
other person because of stereotyping and racism. Even though we all have different opinions
toward other cultures, norms, beliefs and values we should all respect each other differences. We
should consider learning from one another and not judge a person based on their race, ethnicity,
gender and religion. As a society, it is very important; we educated ourselves in other cultures, even
though we all have different values and beliefs.
Cultural studies are influenced by the Marxist interpretation of society, but according to, Stuart Hall
believed that mass media has highlighted those people that are already in positions of power and
the media has exploited the poor keeping them powerless. Hall says that he describes mass media as

Operation Husky Case Study
Operation Husky marked the first time that the United States Army utilized Airborne Infantry units
in an active military operation. The 82nd Airborne Division formed the backbone of the American
airborne operations during this campaign. Initially, the 82nd s role in this operation was to land
three of its regiments, the 504th, 505th and 325th, behind enemy lines to provide assistance to the
allied forces that were taking part in the amphibious assault on the coast of Sicily. This plan was
to be implemented in three separate lifts, or successively, over the course of a few days. However,
due to poor coordination and weather during the first lift and friendly fire during the second lift, the
third lift was cancelled. Despite the initial phases of this operation being plagued by improper
preparation and poor coordination during execution, the American paratroopers created positive
effects on the German and Italian forces by creating confusion and attacking critical points of Axis

Cooks Emporium Is A Small Retail Business Operating Out Essay
Cooks Emporium is a small retail business operating out of Main Street in Downtown Ames. It has
been in operation for around 30 years, and serves the Ames community with quality and creative
kitchenware to suit every need. Because of its roots in community oriented cooking, it also operates
cooking classes open to the public so that everyone can share in the delicious knowledge that has
been accumulated through decades of cooking through its members.
Even though Cooks Emporium has been in business for a few decades amongst massive
technological changes, it has managed to attempt the use of information systems to suit its needs.
However, because the operation is small and has a simple but main mission to spread the joy of
cooking, the owners and employees have not been able to efficiently utilize the proper information
systems to ensure smooth operation of the business.
On a high level, the main information system within Cooks Emporium can be divided up into the
different functional areas that all come together to assure that the business can fully operate. Cooks
Emporium employs the use of accounting systems (Mainly outsourced), communication systems,
payment processing systems, and also inventory management information systems. All of these
functional areas come together to form the main connected information system (As represented in

Analysis Of Sharon Olds The One Girl At The Boys Party
While many leaders in politics, business, science, and education strive for change, there still
persists a deep divide between male and female roles in the workplace and in society. This gap
begins in childhood as demonstrated in Sharon Olds (b. 1942) The One Girl at the Boys Party
(1984). This poem describes a young girl who attends a swimming party where she is the only
femaleguest. It relies on science and math imagery to contrast the boys physicality with the girl s
intellectual ability, and to juxtapose her physical features with the boys features. This figurative
language creates a distinction to challenge the disparity between maleand female roles and their
separation in social life, which begins at a young age. Olds use of science and math imagery serves
as an extended metaphor for the juxtaposition between the one girl at the party and the other guests,
which represents the social divide between the genders. Olds references to math and science
contrasts the boys physicality with the subject s intellectual ability. At the beginning of the poem,
the speaker mentions that they [the boys] tower and/bristle, she stands there smooth and sleek,/her
math scores unfolding in the air around her (Olds 234). This description of the party guests creates
an automatic physical distinction between the girl and boys (by comparing their tower[ing] and
bristl[ing] appearance from her smooth and sleek one), but also wordlessly defines her by her math
scores, rather

Rhetorical Analysis Of Games By Steve Johnson
If you put yourself in an environment with lots of different perspectives, you yourself are going
to have better, sharper, more original ideas, stated Steve Johnson in an interview with Salon

with the knowledge of other perspectives. Also, the new ideas will encourage debate and
conversation. Not only will other people s views enhance ideas, but also is crucial for writingon a

must have previous knowledge to some extent before writing Games. In the first paragraph
Johnson is already showing he has done his research and writes about Dr. Spock and what he must
say about video games (196). Afterwards, Johnson introduces another source he has studied, this
time about reading, written by Andrew Solomon (197). Both studies Johnson introduces shows he
has researched both video games and reading. Later in his piece, Johnson writes, When I read
these ostensibly positive accounts of video games... (200). Johnson is showing the audience he is
analyzing video games for himself by reading about them and the actual content of the games.
Concluding his piece, he states that video games can be hard (Johnson 201). This statement
implies Johnson has played video games himself, otherwise he would be contradicting himself of
what he says in the context. He talks about the gap between people who have or have not played
them. People who have not played them cannot talk about them coherently (201). Therefore,
Johnson must have played video games and gained a personal experience that makes him qualified

Essay about The Italian Immigrants of Post-1880
Between 1880 and 1920 more than 4.1 million Italians were recorded as entering the United States
(Daniels, p. 188). The Italian immigrants of post 1880 were different from other immigrant groups
by these topics of religion, labor, family orientation, politics, and education. The 1880s brought a
change not only in the amount of Italian immigrants but also the characteristic of them as a group.
This group of immigrants was incredibly male dominated, in comparison to the other immigrants of
this time, most settling in New York and Chicago. The living conditions that these Italians
encountered were not pleasant. It was common for them to live in very crowded four bedroom
apartments. Compared to other immigrants, they had one of the worsts... Show more content on

The padrone system faded out as family networks grew. The relationships of their family were
essentially the only connection they had. They did not rely on politics or get involved in public
office. They tended to only associate with family or fellow Italians in the area. For this reason,
mafias emerged in America because of the strong devotion to family and eventually family
business. The Italians were mostly Catholic with the belief that priests were agents of the pope
and bishops (Daniels, p. 197). As more Italians arrived, they began to form distinct enclaves in
neighborhoods first settled by earlier immigrants. Interestingly the issue of diet among immigrant
workers received attention during this time. Italian Laborers, Padrones, and Pernicious Pasta
reads, In the process, Italian foods were redefined as a problem for the fitness, health, and future
prosperity of the Italian worker and therefore a threat to workplace efficiency and productivity
(Slideshow 7: Additional Links). The padrone system became concerned with the foods their
workers ate because it could affect the way they worked and essentially the way the padroni was
paid. In 1890, Jacob Riis, a Danish immigrant and police reporter published How the Other Half

Street Corner Society Synopsis Essay
1. I would say that the characterization of lower class neighborhoods as being disorganized is
false. While from an outsider s view, things may appear hectic and chaotic, there is a finely
designed structure among the groups involved in the areas. Individuals find themselves grouping
together with others who have similar aspirations and desires; in Street Corner Society, this is seen
as the В‘corner boys and В‘college boys . Corner boys grew up, not in schools, but with each
other on the area street corners. Doc was the general leader of the cornerboys. College boys grew

they wouldn t let one of their own excel. The exception to this might have come when Whyte
himself won once. This was explained, some what, because he had a close relationship with Doc
and he was allowed to win. 3. The differences between the corner boys and college boys is best
seen in the life of their respective leaders. The former had a boy named Doc; a kid who grew up
on Norton Street who had a shriveled arm, but didn t let himself or anyone else use it as an
excuse. His rise to power was by the way of the fist. After an unwanted fight, he began to just

grew a group of friends/members that came to be known as the Nortons. This group generally
took labor jobs and didn t have much of a secondary education. The college boys had Chick.
Chick was eight when he moved from Italy to Cornerville. He grew up struggling in the United

college. He was able to afford college because his mother had saved up enough money for him to do

The Role Of Women In The Femme Fatale
For example, Larry chose Suzanne out of all the women in the bar. As he was seen looking from
woman to woman, but stopped and smiled at Suzanne as soon as he saw her. She is also desired
by the TV guy when he is presenting his speech he is seen stopping and admiring Suzanne, and
later rubbing her leg under the table. She is also the key desire of James, who kills her husband
for her and takes the blame. Given that, Suzanne uses her looks (sexuality) to gain the attention
and control of men seen within the film. She uses sex and love to gain the influence of men, and
get them to do whatever she wants (dirty work). In fact, she gets the attention of James and then
has sex with him in order to win his love and get him to murder Larry. She is able to manipulate
men, and get them to do anything she wants. She recognizes the function that women serve in
narrative and exploits it to disguise her own plotting (Week Ten Recap: The Femme Fatale).
Correspondingly, Suzanne is best understood as a gender critic. She understands that gender
requires us to perform or act dichotomously. Suzanne knows how to be feminine, and acts feminine
when it suits her purposes, often directing her actions at the men around her. Acknowledging them,
she is able to appeal to their interest and grab their attention and pretty much take over their minds.

Twenty years to life in prison, this is what I woke up to one cold December morning. I had been
falsely accused of a crime. It all started a couple of weeks ago. I had gone to the local gas station
to pick up some groceries to fix my family a surprise breakfast. I had planned to go home and fix
them eggs, bacon, waffles, and grits. It would have been perfect, just to have a family meal. I had
arrived at the gas station and proceeded to go into the store to get the groceries that I needed. All of
sudden a man with the gun entered the store. He told the man to give him all the money in the cash
register as he shot at some bottles behind the counter. After the clerk had finished loading the bag,
he threw it on the ground, and without... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
The judge read to me the accusation that were made against me, and asked for the evidence to
be presented. They had taken the store s surveillance videos, and said that they had video
evidence of what had happened. The judge then asked the cop to play the video, but there was a
problem. The video had been encrypted with a password, and without the password, the video
could not be watched. The judge ruled that this evidence was irrelevant until it could be used.
The judge asked if there was any evidence to be presented. They had one more witness that went
to the stand. The other attorney asked what he remembered about the morning of December 3,
2034. He said that he remembered being in the gas station, and seeing me beside the body (8th
amendment) When I was back in the jail cell, I decided to ask him what the bail had been set at.
He said that there was no bail. He told me that I had been indicted, and I would be going to my
arraignment next. I just kept thinking of my family, and that I had to do everything in my power
to get out of here. I asked the cop also if someone had picked up my car.(4th amendment) He said
it can be picked up as soon as it has been searched. I immediately asked if there was a warrant. He
said that there was, and to get some sleep. He said that tomorrow would be a long day. The next
morning they came to me and wanted to make a deal. They said just plead guilty, and they would
let me off with second

What Are Emotions and Moods? Although we don t want to obsess over definitions, before we
can proceed with our analysis, we need to clarify three terms that are closely intertwined: affect,
emotions, and moods. Affect is a generic term that covers a broad range of feelings that people
experience. It s an umbrella concept that encompasses both emotions and moods.5 Emotions are
intense feelings that are directed at someone or something.6 Moods are feelings that tend to be
less intense than emotions and that often (though not always) lack a contextual stimulus.7 Most
experts believe that emotions are more fleeting than moods.8 For example, if someone is rude
to you, you ll feel angry. That intense feeling of anger probably comes and goes fairly quickly,
maybe even in a matter of seconds. When you re in a bad mood, though, you can feel bad for
several hours. Emotions are reactions to a person (seeing a friend at work may make you feel
glad) or event (dealing with a rude client may make you feel angry). You show your emotions
when you re happy about something, angry at someone, afraid of something. 9 Moods, in contrast,
aren t usually directed at a person or event. But emotions can turn into moods when you lose focus
on the event or object that started the feeling. And, by the same token, good or bad

The Tea Party, An Uprising Movement
The Tea Party, an uprising movement, with specific beliefs have made a major political
breakthrough in this year due to strategic framing usages and resources. Their framing usages
strongly conveys their social and economical perspective and ideology through an extremist and
phenomenological approach. Their framing activities influences generalized belief, collective
behavior, irrational behavior, experiential commensurability, and specific grievances among the
supporters. The supporters are mainly consisted of a particular socioeconomic status while their
leaders are mainly elites of politicians and businessmen with an endless right winged network.
Concerns of the TeaParty slowly replacing the Republican Party has been expressed and it... Show

With that, the Tea Party still frames itself to be a grassroot movement. A grassroot movement, by
definition, means an organization supported by ordinary people with a non hierarchal foundation
(Merriam Webster s online dictionary n.d). The re definition of grassroot then fabricated the belief
that the Tea Party is a pure organization, but in actuality, it is not what it seems to be. It is rather an
astroturf movement. This re defining tactic is one of the few framing activities that the Tea Party
uses to advance their mobilization potential. The framing and counter framing activities that the
Tea Party has been religiously practicing includes: master framing, cultural resonance, empirical
credibility, and salience. The effects of these framing notions advances toward an acceptance or a
rejection, but for this movement, it strives for public acceptance and admittance for their reformist
beliefs and ideology. These activities are the essential elements to carry through the movement s
political agenda. Master framing is a type of frame with an extensive appeal and it can influence
biased social constructivism. The Tea Party uses this type of framing to identify their perspective
of the problem. They believe that the government has poor handling with public services such as
healthcare and there is too much much public taxing. One of their main concerns is the
ObamaCare, officially known as the Affordability Care Act, which is phrased as a hideous

The Importance Of An Effective Teacher
Educating is as intricate as the learning procedure is for each student. Educating is not just
lecturing in front of the class and later on give them tests to assess their knowledge. Being a
teacher your style must adapt constantly for the diversity of the children in our classroom as
well as their learning styles. To be viable in my work, planning and managing your time is
crucial in setting up appropriate lesson plans for the children. I trust that with information I have
accumulated throughout the years on the qualities of an effective teacher, I will have the
capacity to arrange strategies and imaginatively design strategies for difficulties and issues that I
will experience in the classroom environment. The key to success would be to always keep in
mind the child s needs and to understand how society is evolving. The learning process isn t the
same in all children but instead it is an intricate procedure where each student learns differently
even as they get older. This occurs by the brain and its astounding ability to recall occasions and
learn things. Not all children are the same so it is important to figure out and understand how their
brain works. The brain is separated into three principle areas to be specific, the forebrain which is
in charge of the learning process, the midbrain and hindbrain. Located in the midbrain is the
cerebral cortex, which is in charge of memory, recognition and thought. Having realized that the
mind is involved in learning, it

Han Dynasty Changes
Intro: In our version of the Han Dynasty, we maintained original ideals regarding, politics, social
statuses, philosophy, and governmental aspects. We changed and tweaked certain specific aspects
of these themes, such as the height of the Great Wall of China, and the purpose behind folklore.
Government and political aspects we decided to keep were the Great Wall of China, but in the form
of a full wall around the entirety of the Han Dynasty, as well as making it taller, for better
fortifications. As for the legal systems such as the Han Dynasty law code, we decided it was
socially beneficial to keep it, except... for the Mongols (JK). We also thought it was prudent to
keep the empirical reign over China because it had the mandate of heaven to keep the populace
content and the emperors, relatively, in line.
Economically, we chose to keep the silk road where it is because it was efficient and brought in
good trade from other civilizations. Regarding crops and metalurgey, we left them be because
China had a good source of food rarely led to famine. However, we would change the amount of
metal working the civilization produced, only ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
While it wasn t optimal for the peasants, it helped the empire flourish and maintain its rule. An
example of flourishing was when peasants were contracted to build the Great Wall of China. The
major change we want to employ in social systems, was the role of women in China. China was
notorious for subjugating their women, and a change in this societal norm would greatly benefit
China, as a whole, not just the Han Dynasty. If women could work and be educated the same as
men, China s civilization could have lasted longer, as well as discovered and developed new
technology. A good blueprint for women s role in society would have been the social structure of
the Egyptian civilization, where women had equal legal rights with

Thank You For Arguing Summary
In section 4 of Thank You For Arguing by Jay Heinrichs, Heinrichs starts out by explaining Cicero s
five canons of persuasion that include: invention, arrangement, style, memory, and delivery.
Invention is the start of the persuasion and the thought of what is wanted to be accomplished. Then,
the issue itself needs to be figured out and resolved. Finally, the person needs to think about the
audience and what their values are. That will get an individual a start on the art of persuasion.
Arrangement is how a person is going to arrange an argument so the persuasion is the most
impactful. Arrangement comes down to this rule of thumb Ethos first. Then logos. Then pathos.
(283). Arrangement follows an outline that can be used starting with introduction,... Show more

Also, refutation is developed to win the argument and completely smash your opponents facts
and argument. At the end, Heinrichs explains the conclusion where the individual states their
best points from the argument. Style is how a person expresses their thoughts and words. Proper
language is one of the styles which are words that suit the occasion and my audience (287).
Heinrichs also explains the style of clarity, which is speaking to make the words obvious and
straight facts. Also, Memory is used to create an image in the audience s minds to make them
feel and imagine what the individual is talking about to persuade the audience more impactfully.
Finally, the fifth canon of persuasion is delivery and how the person uses body language, along
with your voice, rhythms, and breathing (290). Voice is key in delivery especially in the volume
of the voice and how the audience emphasises the tone of the speaker. Towards the end of the
novel, Heinrichs reiterates on a few keywords including: goals, ethos, pathos, logos, and kairos.
Heinrichs also states examples of situations when these tools are needed. An example is when a
person wants their book club to read a

Inspiring the Latino Community
Inspiring the Latino Community When we have dreams we do everything possible to achieve
them. We are sometimes faced with barriers that prevent, or make it harder for us to accomplish
our goals. Latinos in the United States work hard to give their families a better life. Latinos all
have faced many challenging circumstances in order to accomplish their dreams. Latinos look up
to other Latinos and when they see other Latinos that have succeed then they feel that they too
can succeed in what ever they put their mind to. George Lopez is a Mexican American
comedian and actor. He serves as a great role model for every Latino. He went through a lot of
tough situations that made his life hard. George Lopez has not only served as a great example of
a Latino accomplishing his goals through hard circumstances, but he has never forgotten where he
comes from, he has always given back to the community and has also represented the Latino
community in the united states. From the first day that George Lopez was born he did not have
an easy start. Lopez was born, and raised in Mission Hills, California. His father abandoned him
when he was two years old. His father took his baby clothes, and birth certificate with him. Later
Lopez, and his mother moved into his maternal grandmothers house. His mother then abandoned
him at the age of 10 years old, and his mother remarried. His mother hoped to begin a new life with

Descriptive Essay On The Camp Monster
The Camp Monster
Bill come on time to go! Tom s mom screamed. Every summer Tom has to go to summer camp.
His parents are traveling all the time because of work. Tom really doesn t like to go, he s not the
athletic type. Tom does not have a lot of friends and keeps to himself. As Tom walks down the
stairs to the car he feels a little overwhelmed. Tom has gone to the camp three summers in a row
and feels weirded out when he s near the woods. The camp counselors don t like it when kids go to
the woods by themselves, apparently kids have disappeared but the counselors don t talk about it
too much.
The car ride there is long. To get there you have to go far from town. You could see huge trees
swaying back and forth as you pass by, it s a little creepy. Bill arrived to the eerie camp, he saw all
the kids with their parents trying to check in and get to know the grounds. The car came to a
stop and Bill and his mom got out the car. It was a long ride there so it took Bill a minute to
stretch out. Bill and his mom walk up to the front desk, there was a young man at the desk
looked like he was not in a good mood. The man began to speak Hello and welcome to camp, do
you need a room? the man said angrily. Um yes please. Bill s mom said, but Bill zoend out the rest
of the conversation. Bill I have to go now, Bill s mom said I love you and please don t get in
trouble your room number is 122. Ok mom love you too. Bill said. His mom gave him a kiss on

Facts:
After Maria and Tatsuo are divorced, their two children continue to live with Maria. Pursuant to
their divorce decree, Tatsuo pays Maria $1,000 per month in child support and $1,800 per month in
alimony. The divorce decree specifies that in the event of a court ordered increase in child support,
the alimony payment amount will decrease by the amount of the child support increase. That is,
Tatsuo s total monthly payment cannot exceed $2,800.
Issues:
How much of each payment is considered alimony? Does the change in child support have an effect
on the amount of alimony received?
Conclusion:
Generally, child support is not ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
Such events that are included are: the child s attaining a specified age or income level, dying,
marrying, leaving school, leaving the spouse s household, or gaining employment. Whether such
event is certain or likely to occur is not considered in determining the contingency.
A similar case to Maria s is presented in the court case, Heller v. Commissioner, T.C. Memo 1994
423 (1994). Heller (the petitioner) received certain payments from her former husband, some of
which were designated as spousal support and the remaining were designated as child support.
Heller received $1,700 per month as spousal support, none of which was reported on her tax return.
The divorce instrument stated that future spousal support would be reduced by any court mandated
increase in child support.
The Court cited Sec. 71 (c) (2) of the Internal Revenue Code and said that the provision which
allows spousal support to be decreased by future court mandated increases in child support is not
considered a contingency related to a child. The Court then ruled that the payments received by the
petitioner for spousal support should have been included in her tax return and constitutes taxable
alimony.
Maria s situation is similar to the Heller case. The increase in child support from a court order is
not considered a contingency related to a child and does not decrease alimony. Therefore, as it was
also noted in Treasury Regulations Sec. 1.71 1T

Marketing Strategy At The North American Market
Strategy
As we close Q3, we move forward with our plan to expand our offices in the North American
market. Our next office expansion will take place in Chicago. The market potential in Chicago, for
the workhorse computer, is relatively high; in comparison to our initial other locations such as Los
Angeles and Toronto. According to market research, these markets have great potential to
effectively meet customer needs. The pricing strategy used for Workhorse, which is our first
priority product in the market, is to provide a technologically advanced computer at an affordable
price. In addition, to a good retail price, we will offer a $100 rebate as an incentive to purchase a
Pentabytes workhorse computer.
Brand Design
Our main objective is to increase market potential by designing brands attractive to Workhorse,
Traveler and Innovator segments. The executive team analyzed the customer needs and use pattern
to determine the design. Based on the research, our firm decided to add a new segment that targets
a different clientele. The strategy to design a desktop computer for our Workhorse customers was
based on their top three preferences of having a computer easy to use, but still does a wide variety
of tasks at a special price deal. We introduced a laptop for our Traveler segment. The idea of the
design is to provide a portable computer that features office applications. We realized how
important is to accommodate their portability concern. Our latest addition is a desktop

Underage Drinking Causes
I have always been a well protected child. From a young age I was home schooled. As I grew
older I always knew I was different from the rest of the kids and wanting to fit in I craved to be
just like them, until recently. Recently, I have been working at an Academy near my house and I
have uncovered information about my coworkers that made me seem even more different than the
rest of the world, a certain kind of difference that I don t want to be swayed towards.
I have been a pretty law abiding citizen, I don t drink, I don t do drugs, I don t steal basically I am
what the school kids call a goodie two shoes. I knew the law in Texas that allowed for kids, who
were under the age of 21, to drink if their parents let them. In fact one of my ... Show more content

Risk taking occurs as researchers have shown because the brain continues to develop important
communication connections and further refines its function. During this time adolescents search
for situations that may be hazardous. Hereditary factors are also another cause of underage
drinking. Being a child of an alcoholic or having several alcoholic family members places a
person at a high risk for alcoholic problems. Environmental aspects, pinpointing a genetic
contribution will not tell the whole story as drinking behavior reflects a complex interplay between
inherited and environmental factors. By having parents who heavily drink and view it as favorable
their children will also drink.
What are the health problems that are associated with underage drinking? Alcohol affects how the
brain develops but hasn t been researched long enough to determine the long term memory and
learning skill impairments that adolescent s drinkers will suffer as they age. The liver will also be
damaged due to underage drinking. On top of having internal organ damage growth will also be
stunted due to drinking during

Other rules are you can have a minimum of five players. No jewelry or things like that that

  • 2. Musical Theatre History The collaboration of musical theatre combines the drama aspect and plots of stage plays while adding musical components. The plot and a variety of emotions including love, passion, anger, sadness, and humor, are all presented through words and music. Musical theatre has changed tremendously over time, from operas to orchestras to full fledged plays. However, from the beginning until now the art form has carried a great influence in the world of performance. This essay will explore the history of musical theatrefrom birth until now. The ancient Greeks and Roman s had plays and comedies that contained music and dance routines. That being said they disappeared long ago so they did not influence or give start to the world of musical theatre ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... This, and other British ballad operas, ballets and pantomimes, formed the majority of musicals offered on American stages in the beginning of the 1800 s. The roots of the music we know today can be dated back to the French and Viennese operettas. Operettes are light musical comedies that would often provide broad satire and wit to the stage, combined with bright melodies and high energy. These would be the blueprint for all musical theatre to come. The Black Crook was the first piece to fit modern musicals. The play premiered in 1866 in New York City and was a staggering success. Once the modern musical was developed there was more opportunity for theoretical advances. Broadway saw its fair share of musicals during the 1890 s and the number continued to grow during the 20th century. The theatre experienced a boom in business with the start of World War I; given the devastation of the battlefield audiences flocked to the stages in order to get some escapism. As the 20th century continued musical theatre began to grow in popularity and quality. The public ruled heavily in favor of musicals, so the 1980s brought a succession of long running Brit hits to Broadway, such as Cats, Les Miserables, Phantom of the Opera and Miss Saigon. ... • 5. Government Vs Federal Government George Smith wrote that Thomas Jefferson believed the distribution of power among federal, state, county, and local agencies was indispensable to America s system of fundamental balances and checks for the government. (Smith, 2012) Today federal, state, and local governments still play important roles in the operations of public schools through providing funding, policies, scope and organization of school systems. Through the years, the federal governmenthas increased their position in governing public schools, stategovernment works to guide and offer clarification, and local governmentis responsible for the day to day affairs. In Federal Control of Public Schools and the Decline of Community Carl Bankston III discusses the fact that the US Constitution makes no reference to schools or education. Since there is no direct mention the Tenth Amendment reserves all the power to be held at the state and to the people. In fact, federal government had no say in the first public schools, all power was delegated to the state. It wasn t until after the Civil War that the federal government would become involved with public education. Then after each war federal involvement would continue to increase. Court cases like Brown vs. The Board of Education, Swann v. Charlotte Mecklenburg, and Green vs. County School Board would be influential in the federal governments control. Even with the added involvement the U.S. Department of Education states that the Federal contribution ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...
  • 6. Exodus Decoded Essay The main argument in Exodus Decoded was that the Exodus actually happened and is not just a story in the Bible. There were many strengths and weaknesses in Simcha Jacobovici s experiment. In the movie, he was excavating a site where Moses followers had lived and before going to the sacred land and that was a strength in his experiment because he was where it began in the story. A weakness he had was that he never seemed to be wrong when it comes to finding where Mosesand his followers ended up and to see if the Exodusreally happened. Another strength was that he had the Stella of Ahmose. This helped explain what the Exodus was. Pharaoh Ahmose s was an important person to find because in the exodus it was said that Ahmose went with Moses... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... This is because to me it seemed more dramatic than an actual experiment. Throughout the video he would say no one knew something that happened in the Exodus, or some proof of the exodus was never found until now. I feel that it was not impressive. I feel like he was a bit goofing off with the drama of the video. Also, when he brought up the Ark of Covenant and where it was place lasted. He had no solid proof as to where it was. No one knows where the Ark of Covenant is since the exodus and I believe if we knew where the exact one from the Exodus is, then we will be able to clearly stated that the Exodus happened. The Ark of Covenant is an important artifact when dealing with the Exodus. There were many areas in this video where I could not stay focused while watching it because of what I feel like was cliche to do to be dramatic when they thought they found something. In all the dramatic scenes, there was not one moment where he did not find something. This documentary just seem too good to be true. Some aspects of this video just did not really fit in. It jumped around a bit I feel. That made it a little confusing which did not make it compelling for me. Although I did enjoy watching the movie and learning a few things from ... • 7. Mass Media And Its Effect On Society Mass Media are organizations in our society. The medium industries provide information and entertainment, but mass media also can affect political, social, and cultural institutions. Mediums such as radio, newspapers, and television all reflect and affect American society. However, the main one that I am going to discuss is Radio. Radio is more effective in mass media as compared to the other mediums. The way radio was back then is way different from what it is in society today, it has changed over time. People believe that radio is one of the dying mediums, but that s false. Radio has saved plenty of lives through communication. Radio has been the first device to allow for mass communication. It changed the pace at which information was exchanged. Radio broadcasts that exist in society today didn t began until after World War I. Radio was used during the war to communicate. But, the federal government had ordered all professionals off the air taking control over all stations. Back in 1920, KDKA was licensed as the nation s first commercial broadcast in the United States. The audience began to expand very quickly because advertisers began to see how well the broadcast was doing. In addition, seeing that the audience was expanding they started to think about how they would make money. So, AT T radio broadcast station (WEAF) became the first paid commercial, they began selling limited advertisement time to sponsors. This led to success. Radio back then was and still is a ... • 8. Ethics Essay Our case study discusses the rise and fall of one of the largest telecommunications corporations in the world, Nortel Networks Corporation. Nortel was one of the many early 21st century telecommunications companies that failed due to upper echelon management, a dysfunctional board of directors, inflated costs and earnings, and a smoke and mirrors illusion of stability. There were many avenues that could have been taken that would have prevented the demise and fall of the organization, but those roads were not traveled. Many argue that government intervention could have prevented the backlash and whitewater effect of Nortels bankruptcy, but due to corporate ties within the government and the Securities and Exchange Commission the many... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... Although initially they created unintended unethical behavior which probably resulted from a dysfunctional management team, those initial ideas would later lead to several action sequences that would have lasting effects. The two moral imperatives of do not lie and do unto others as you want done to you were not attributes that several of the board members held (Collins, 2011, pg. 24). There are a multitude of mechanisms that should be put in place to better align managers with the interests of shareholders, and the government plays a big part of that puzzle. Agency problems arise when the management of a public company pursues its own economic self interest ahead of shareowners and secondary stakeholder s interests and portrays disregard for the respect for others and does not reflect at atmosphere of corporate citizenship. This behavior may manifest itself in the form of golden parachutes, long term employment contracts, corporate jets, and other perquisites. Managers are susceptible to human nature and may pursue their own economic agendas without any concern for maximizing the wealth of the shareowners (Anson, White, McGrew, Butler, 2004). Nortel investors complained that even in its downward spiral, the executives received bonuses and issued excessively optimistic projections. Soon there would not be much left other than the lawsuits alleging issuance of misleading financial statements and blatant insider trading ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...
  • 9. Baroque Vs. Baroque Era Baroque is a complex term used to describe what was thought to be a messy, vaguely disgusting style. Potentially coming from the Spanish words barrueco meaning a rough or imperfect pearl or berruca the term for wart , Baroque came to be a generalized term for art, architecture, music, and sculpture from the 16th century to the early 18th century (Klindt Jensen 2015). Not only was the Baroqueperiod long lasting, but it was far reaching as well. From Holland to Spain, Germany to France, the Baroque style began in Romeand Italy around 1600 and quickly spread to most of Europe, eventually reaching colonial South America in the 18th Century (Fargis 1998). Similar to terms such as Gothic or Mannerism, the term Baroque began in a... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... Second, planar to recession. Figures no longer purely stood parallel to the canvas, and instead had depth and spatial relations. Third, the change from closed to open form: the acknowledgement of the viewer and the painting s relation to the physical world with conflicting angles and the ability to be out of frame . Fourth, the idea of unity in a painting where no single image could be isolated due to lighting and significance. Finally, the change from absolute clarity to relative clarity, the potential for a subjective painting, one which could be read as a story. Painters such as Caravaggio presented their works as theatrical displays, with intense lighting bringing the figures to the stage. Styles such as Tenebrism, Chiaroscuro, and Leonardo De Vinci s Sfumato used fine shading and the drastic contrast between light and darkness to bring dramatic elements to their works, as though they had their own personal spotlight. Eclectic of the High Renaissance, Baroque painting was an evolution of style, aggregating what were the preferred styles from the past and adapting them to the painter s personal use. Peter Paul Rubens, a Flemish painter, was one of the best known painters whom mastered the power of the Baroque. His works such as the Raising of the Cross portrayed Jesus as a heroic figure, with intense lighting and even more intense facial features (Scribner 2017.) ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...

Lao Tzu is a Chinese philosopher who lived in the sixth century B.C and his work has embraced by both various anti authoritarian movements. This quotes interact with the ancient text the Tao Te Chin because they both describes love have a strength and that strength allows the leader to encounter challenges. Tzu believed if masters are love by his people is the best ruler because the leader gain strength from the people love and loving all the citizens in the state allows ruler to do favorable things for the people. Government vicious qualities is better than the virtuous qualities because nefarious character of a ruler strictly controls people and prevent them to do unacceptable things.Furthermore, Government is best when people fear of them because Adolf Hitler is a brutal leader and he cause the holocaust, however many people likes him because they believe everything he did to protect Germany. On the contrary, Tzu classified leader as a four different categorize and he mention when the master governs and the people do not realize the master present is the best government because he likes an anarchic system, so no one can control over him. Mise-en-Scene in Napoleon Dynamite Essay Mise en Scene in Napoleon Dynamite In Napoleon Dynamite (Jared Hess, 2004), the character known as Napoleon Dynamite (Jon Heder) is quite a unique fellow. His quirkiness and eccentricity are what make him as a character; they are the primary traits of his personality. Keep in mind, however, that he is not the only odd character in the film, but he has his own peerless way of defining himself separate from any other character(s). This effect is achieved through certain cinematic techniques that director Jared Hess utilizes in order to bring out Napoleon s persona in ways other than simply guessing who he really is. Additionally, considerable portion of the significant sound in the film occurs in the music. The most blatant effect of the music is the cheesy MIDI arrangements. These outdated compositions portray the tackiness of Napoleon; he and the music are clearly out of style. One of the crudest examples of this is when Napoleon buys his suit; the muzak in the background is as unbearably corny as Napoleon s taste in clothing. Albeit music is a fundamental factor in Napoleon Dynamite, it is not the only element of sound that is relevant. The sound effects in the film also give clues as to what kind of person Napoleon really is. One supporting example is when he is eating tots in the middle of class. The unnecessarily loud crunching noise portrays his manifest lack of craftiness and style. There was one audio technique, however, that was extremely puzzling. In every scene inside a house, there is a very subtle background of birds chirping. This emphasizes the fact that Napoleon lives a rural community, rather than a busy suburb or city setting. This sound is extremely understated, however, and is obviously intended to be a subconscious feature to the viewer. Napoleon uses some of his own characteristic sounds in the film to facilitate who he is. As a matter of fact, the first sound he makes in the movie is long, depressed sigh when he sees the school bus approaching. This ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...

Allow me then to clarify so that any further discussion can be clear. My claim that As far as we know, the natural world is all there is, is not, pace Gary s claim, a knowledge claim about fundamental reality. It is agnostic about fundamental reality. This is a crucial distinction, as Gary is at pains to maintain the position of false equivalence between weak naturalism and supernaturalism. Examples of where I had previously used weak naturalism to posit a prima facie case for naturalism, provide no contradiction or suggestion that my definition of weak naturalism is anything less than clear. Gary appears to think I was arguing that naturalism can be proven from premises that (1) nature exists; and (2) there is no evidence of a supernatural reality) that nature is all there is (which, of course, does not follow) . My essay argued that there was a false equivalence between the two metaphysical views, not that I considered naturalism proven by the limits of our knowledge. In any case, making a straw man of my claims does nothing to substantiate claims of a supernatural realm. To refute weak naturalism the supernaturalist needs to provide positive evidence of a supernatural world. It is not sufficient to present semantic disagreement on what the terms mean or to attempt to puncture weak naturalism by conflating and straw manning the concept. It is trivially true that the world exists, and undoubtedly true that we have no compelling evidence of a world beyond. The question is: what sort of evidence would be adequate to refute weak naturalism? And by degree, this question becomes, what quantum of evidence would be sufficient ... However, there are other people who have been completely left out, people who don t fit into a particular group or ideal and are left out because they are different. Some may argue that they are excluded because they are misunderstood, but that is not the case. The short story The Metamorphosis, by Franz Kafka, the video Franz Kafka and Metamorphosis by BBC, and personal experience prove that people are excluded because they are different from what is considered normal, and not due to a misunderstanding or being misjudged. In the short story The Metamorphosis, by Franz Kafka, the main character, Gregor, is turned into a beetle and is excluded by his family. The reason for his exclusion was because he was different. He could no longer speak or move humanly, and no longer looked human. Although his family thinking he could not understand them may be part of the reason for his exclusion, but the fact that he would have still been excluded eventually debunks the idea. • 23. Silence In A Room Of One s Own And Aurora Leigh Silence In Virginia Woolf s A Room of One s Own and Elizabeth Barrett Browning s Aurora Leigh, women stay silent as men flourish in achieving their greatest potential. In her academic journal, Sexology and A Room of One s Own, Patricia Moran believes that, A Room of One s Own is arguably the most influential essay of feminist literary criticism (Moran 477). Females, as noted in these two works, remain limited to the works of their home and unexposed to the first class world of literature. They are required to dedicate their work and effort to a dominant male figure in their lives. Both Woolf and Browning argue that women live silently and restricted to the authority of their husband, parents, or a close relative. Despite the different time and literary periods of Aurora Leigh and A Room of One s Own, Browning and Woolf portray their female characters as stuck in their sense of identity. These women are regulated to the family society, discouraged from having a role in the literary realm, and expected to appear complacent to their male figures. Due to the lack of education and tactics needed to succeed monetarily, women become confined to the close proximity of their children, spouse, and related social circle. At the beginning of Aurora Leigh, Aurora s description of her aunt gives readers an understanding of the type of women she is in society She stood straight and calm, Her somewhat narrow forehead braided tight As if for taming accidental thoughts From possible pulses; brown hair pricked with gray By frigid use of life (272 276). Aurora s detailed descriptions of her aunt reveals the admiration that society has for women of comparable character. Aurora s never ending analysis of the aunt s personality and identity allude to the idea that Elizabeth Barrett Browning pities women that limit their role in society to that of the aunt. Likewise, Woolf uses a fictional example of William Shakespeare s sister to expose the expectations that a woman would have in Shakespeare s day. Judith, as adventurous, as imaginative, as agog to see the world as he [Shakespeare] was, would be required to fulfill the duty of a woman, thus preventing her sharp mind to wander outside of her domestic roles. ... Initially, the 82nd s role in this operation was to land three of its regiments, the 504th, 505th and 325th, behind enemy lines to provide assistance to the allied forces that were taking part in the amphibious assault on the coast of Sicily. This plan was to be implemented in three separate lifts, or successively, over the course of a few days. However, due to poor coordination and weather during the first lift and friendly fire during the second lift, the third lift was cancelled. Despite the initial phases of this operation being plagued by improper preparation and poor coordination during execution, the American paratroopers created positive effects on the German and Italian forces by creating confusion and attacking critical points of Axis infrastructure. • 32. Analysis Of Sharon Olds The One Girl At The Boys Party While many leaders in politics, business, science, and education strive for change, there still persists a deep divide between male and female roles in the workplace and in society. This gap begins in childhood as demonstrated in Sharon Olds (b. 1942) The One Girl at the Boys Party (1984). This poem describes a young girl who attends a swimming party where she is the only femaleguest. It relies on science and math imagery to contrast the boys physicality with the girl s intellectual ability, and to juxtapose her physical features with the boys features. This figurative language creates a distinction to challenge the disparity between maleand female roles and their separation in social life, which begins at a young age. Olds use of science and math imagery serves as an extended metaphor for the juxtaposition between the one girl at the party and the other guests, which represents the social divide between the genders. Olds references to math and science contrasts the boys physicality with the subject s intellectual ability. At the beginning of the poem, the speaker mentions that they [the boys] tower and/bristle, she stands there smooth and sleek,/her math scores unfolding in the air around her (Olds 234). This description of the party guests creates an automatic physical distinction between the girl and boys (by comparing their tower[ing] and bristl[ing] appearance from her smooth and sleek one), but also wordlessly defines her by her math scores, rather ... The Italian immigrants of post 1880 were different from other immigrant groups by these topics of religion, labor, family orientation, politics, and education. The 1880s brought a change not only in the amount of Italian immigrants but also the characteristic of them as a group. This group of immigrants was incredibly male dominated, in comparison to the other immigrants of this time, most settling in New York and Chicago. The relationships of their family were essentially the only connection they had. They did not rely on politics or get involved in public office. The Italians were mostly Catholic with the belief that priests were agents of the pope and bishops (Daniels, p. 197). As more Italians arrived, they began to form distinct enclaves in neighborhoods first settled by earlier immigrants. Interestingly the issue of diet among immigrant workers received attention during this time. She recognizes the function that women serve in narrative and exploits it to disguise her own plotting (Week Ten Recap: The Femme Fatale). Correspondingly, Suzanne is best understood as a gender critic. She understands that gender requires us to perform or act dichotomously. Suzanne knows how to be feminine, and acts feminine when it suits her purposes, often directing her actions at the men around her. Although we don t want to obsess over definitions, before we can proceed with our analysis, we need to clarify three terms that are closely intertwined: affect, emotions, and moods. Affect is a generic term that covers a broad range of feelings that people experience. It s an umbrella concept that encompasses both emotions and moods.5 Emotions are intense feelings that are directed at someone or something.6 Moods are feelings that tend to be less intense than emotions and that often (though not always) lack a contextual stimulus.7 Most experts believe that emotions are more fleeting than moods.8 For example, if someone is rude to you, you ll feel angry. That intense feeling of anger probably comes and goes fairly quickly, maybe even in a matter of seconds. When you re in a bad mood, though, you can feel bad for several hours. Emotions are reactions to a person (seeing a friend at work may make you feel glad) or event (dealing with a rude client may make you feel angry). You show your emotions when you re happy about something, angry at someone, afraid of something. 9 Moods, in contrast, aren t usually directed at a person or event. Educating is not just lecturing in front of the class and later on give them tests to assess their knowledge. Being a teacher your style must adapt constantly for the diversity of the children in our classroom as well as their learning styles. To be viable in my work, planning and managing your time is crucial in setting up appropriate lesson plans for the children. I trust that with information I have accumulated throughout the years on the qualities of an effective teacher, I will have the capacity to arrange strategies and imaginatively design strategies for difficulties and issues that I will experience in the classroom environment. The key to success would be to always keep in mind the child s needs and to understand how society is evolving. The learning process isn t the same in all children but instead it is an intricate procedure where each student learns differently even as they get older. This occurs by the brain and its astounding ability to recall occasions and learn things. Not all children are the same so it is important to figure out and understand how their brain works. The brain is separated into three principle areas to be specific, the forebrain which is in charge of the learning process, the midbrain and hindbrain. Thank You For Arguing Summary In section 4 of Thank You For Arguing by Jay Heinrichs, Heinrichs starts out by explaining Cicero s five canons of persuasion that include: invention, arrangement, style, memory, and delivery. Invention is the start of the persuasion and the thought of what is wanted to be accomplished. Then, the issue itself needs to be figured out and resolved. Finally, the person needs to think about the audience and what their values are. That will get an individual a start on the art of persuasion. Heinrichs also explains the style of clarity, which is speaking to make the words obvious and straight facts. Also, Memory is used to create an image in the audience s minds to make them feel and imagine what the individual is talking about to persuade the audience more impactfully. Finally, the fifth canon of persuasion is delivery and how the person uses body language, along with your voice, rhythms, and breathing (290). Voice is key in delivery especially in the volume of the voice and how the audience emphasises the tone of the speaker. • 50. Soccer | Tax Research Project I| October 30, 2013| | Molly Curry| ACCT 310 01| | Facts: After Maria and Tatsuo are divorced, their two children continue to live with Maria. Pursuant to their divorce decree, Tatsuo pays Maria $1,000 per month in child support and $1,800 per month in alimony. The divorce decree specifies that in the event of a court ordered increase in child support, the alimony payment amount will decrease by the amount of the child support increase. That is, Tatsuo s total monthly payment cannot exceed $2,800. Issues: How much of each payment is considered alimony? Does the change in child support have an effect on the amount of alimony received? Conclusion: Generally, child support is not ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... Such events that are included are: the child s attaining a specified age or income level, dying, marrying, leaving school, leaving the spouse s household, or gaining employment. Whether such event is certain or likely to occur is not considered in determining the contingency. A similar case to Maria s is presented in the court case, Heller v. Commissioner, T.C. Memo 1994 423 (1994). Heller (the petitioner) received certain payments from her former husband, some of which were designated as spousal support and the remaining were designated as child support. Heller received $1,700 per month as spousal support, none of which was reported on her tax return. The divorce instrument stated that future spousal support would be reduced by any court mandated increase in child support. The Court cited Sec. 71 (c) (2) of the Internal Revenue Code and said that the provision which allows spousal support to be decreased by future court mandated increases in child support is not considered a contingency related to a child. The Court then ruled that the payments received by the petitioner for spousal support should have been included in her tax return and constitutes taxable alimony. Maria s situation is similar to the Heller case. The increase in child support from a court order is not considered a contingency related to a child and does not decrease alimony. Therefore, as it was also noted in Treasury Regulations Sec. 1.71 1T ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...
  • 51. Marketing Strategy At The North American Market Strategy As we close Q3, we move forward with our plan to expand our offices in the North American market. Our next office expansion will take place in Chicago. The market potential in Chicago, for the workhorse computer, is relatively high; in comparison to our initial other locations such as Los Angeles and Toronto. According to market research, these markets have great potential to effectively meet customer needs. The pricing strategy used for Workhorse, which is our first priority product in the market, is to provide a technologically advanced computer at an affordable price. In addition, to a good retail price, we will offer a $100 rebate as an incentive to purchase a Pentabytes workhorse computer. Brand Design Our main objective is to increase market potential by designing brands attractive to Workhorse, Traveler and Innovator segments. The executive team analyzed the customer needs and use pattern to determine the design. Based on the research, our firm decided to add a new segment that targets a different clientele. The strategy to design a desktop computer for our Workhorse customers was based on their top three preferences of having a computer easy to use, but still does a wide variety of tasks at a special price deal. We introduced a laptop for our Traveler segment. The idea of the design is to provide a portable computer that features office applications. We realized how important is to accommodate their portability concern. Our latest addition is a desktop ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...

As I grew older I always knew I was different from the rest of the kids and wanting to fit in I craved to be just like them, until recently. Recently, I have been working at an Academy near my house and I have uncovered information about my coworkers that made me seem even more different than the rest of the world, a certain kind of difference that I don t want to be swayed towards. I have been a pretty law abiding citizen, I don t drink, I don t do drugs, I don t steal basically I am what the school kids call a goodie two shoes. I knew the law in Texas that allowed for kids, who were under the age of 21, to drink if their parents let them. In fact one of my ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... Risk taking occurs as researchers have shown because the brain continues to develop important communication connections and further refines its function. During this time adolescents search for situations that may be hazardous. Hereditary factors are also another cause of underage drinking. Being a child of an alcoholic or having several alcoholic family members places a person at a high risk for alcoholic problems. Environmental aspects, pinpointing a genetic contribution will not tell the whole story as drinking behavior reflects a complex interplay between inherited and environmental factors. By having parents who heavily drink and view it as favorable their children will also drink. What are the health problems that are associated with underage drinking? Alcohol affects how the brain develops but hasn t been researched long enough to determine the long term memory and learning skill impairments that adolescent s drinkers will suffer as they age. The liver will also be damaged due to underage drinking. On top of having internal organ damage growth will also be stunted due to drinking during ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...
