Agricultural Policy in the United States
The beginning of agricultural policy in the United States situated around developmental policy until
the great depression. The impact of the Great Depression led to farmers losing money, and the United
States Government to begin passing laws to distribute subsidies to farmers. Government subsidies and
tax policies have both helpful and harmful impacts to the environment. The government has regulated
farming in the United States to domestically have little international competition through laws enacted
after the Great Depression. More recent laws have manipulated farming to become more than a means
of self sustenance, but a corporate capital oriented industry. The impact of federal policy in agriculture
on the environment has ultimately benefited large scale agribusinesses at the cost to taxpayers, small
farmers, and the environment. The federal government offers a wide range of aid to farmers,
including: price supports and price floor programs; crop insurance against both lost crops and lower
than expected prices; government purchases of excess food stocks; and promotion of domestic crops
through international trade agreements. The United States was forced to develop agriculture price and
income support policies after the end of World War I due to the closing of major international export
markets. The passing of laws of agricultural subsidies, a price aid to farmers grew from the farm
income and financial crises. Agricultural subsidies are justified as necessary to

coyote. Luckily the coyote brought knifes to go after the monsters heart. The coyote successfully

Race And Ethnicity From An Anglo American War Of 1846 And...
In the span of 50 years a lot can change especially when a power struggle began brewing between land
hungry President James Polk of the United States and recently independent Mexico. California began
its transition from the dominance of Spanish powered Missions to independent Ranchos. In Two Years
Before the Mast Richard Henry Dana Jr explores the issue of race and ethnicity from an Anglo
perspective in newly opened for trade to foreigners California. From the PBS website, one is able to
learn about the Mexican American War of 1846 and the effects it had on the history of the United
States and Mexico. Looking deeper into this topic one is able to discover Michael C. White s
testimony as a Mexican citizen of Anglo descent fighting for the United States. An important
document that changed the course of history was the Treaty of Guadalupe Hidalgo. This document
was an agreement between Mexico and the United States and whose certain provisions were then
violated by the latter country. According to the Pio Pico official website, he was a victim of such
practices as he went from being a prominent figure in society to dying a poor man. A few years after
these events, according to the article Crime and Punishment: Los Angeles County, 1850 1856, crimes
emerged against the now minorities. The 19th century proved to be a timeframe of big change for Los
Angeles. It saw the rise and fall of Mexican power and the social, political and economic changes that
came with these events. Race and

How Did Stalin Influence American Culture
After World War Two, Stalin s Iron Curtain descended across Europe. This was an attempt by him to
isolate and shield the Soviet Union from Western and non Soviet controlled areas. Above all, Stalin
and other Soviet leaders feared influence from The United States. Their fear was quite justified, as
Soviet people became incredibly curious and eager to borrow and emulate American culture. Similar
fears were present in other communist Eastern European countries in the Eastern Bloc. Despite Stalin
s and communist leaders attempt at isolation, Eastern European people were still able to breach the
Iron Curtain and learn about Western ideas and culture. Culture in the Eastern Bloc became dominated
by American taste and culture as early as the 1940s, but it wasn t until the 1970s that rock music began
to dominate the scene. The influence of rock and rock in Soviet music can be seen as early as 1957.
Prior to this, jazz music had been the popular form of music. At the VI World Youth Festival in
Moscow, visiting performers played songs titled Crazy Rhythm and Rock n Roll 1. The journal Soviet

Alcohol And Tobacco Use In Disney Movies
As a child, I watched several Disney movies over and over, and as I have entered college and taken
women s studies classes, I began to start questioning the influences Disney movies may have on
children. Without knowing it, we are constantly being sent messages in society, including television
and movies, like Disney movies. Disney movies are often shown to children at a young age and almost
always, results in children watching these movies over and over. Disney films have several underlying
messages that are often unconscious, but exposing children to these messages can lead children
making unconscious connections and form stereotypes constructed on the movies they are exposed to.
The purpose of this paper is to discuss under what conditions (if any), children should be shown
Disney movies. First, I will summarize main points and findings ... Show more content on

These instances expose children to harmful substances in a comical fashion with zero explanations of
the harmful effects associated with the drug use. The Disney movies that portray these instances are
older, but still, have the potential of being watched several times by children. For instance, Beauty and
the Beast had 116 exposures of alcohol in the film and 101 Dalmatians had 21 instances of tobacco
use. It is difficult to say that Disney movies lead to children trying alcohol and tobacco, but this is one
example where these Disney films should be talked to with kids and explain the harmful effects of the
substances children are being exposed to. I remember 101 Dalmatians having a lot of smoking
references and wonder if these exposures have any impacts on the decision people make. These films
are still important to discuss with children especially if it is an older Disney movie and a lot of alcohol
or tobacco exposures occur in a film, so the child can begin to understand the negative consequences
of those actions from a younger

Planet Of Slums By Mike Davis Essay
Mike Davis, author of Planet of Slums, predicts the direction in which the world s cities are headed,
and how the changes in living conditions are only going to deteriorate if certain trends continue. The
title of his book explains Davis s vision for the future of cities as he feels there is enough evidence
pointing towards an exponential rise in slum populations across the world s largest cities. Additionally,
he expresses his opinion on many issues regarding the rapid rise in developing cities slum populations,
although he offers very one sided arguments geared towards those who feel the current system is
causing more problems rather than improving current conditions. This causes Davis to overlook the
problems of slums as resolvable through different modes of assistance such as international aid
programs. Instead, he views aid programs as the root cause of imbalance created during
industrialization. Throughout the book, Davis presents information that confirms his preconceptions
towards the slums. Therefore, all the evidence that is presented by him portrays confirmation bias as
Davis fails to mention anything about the resolution of the problem of the growing number of slums
and instead sees this problem as unavoidable. Particularly, Davis writing, although intended for the
general population, is more geared towards critics who have similar ideas. Instead of providing the
means through which the economy could be improved and the problem of slums could be resolved, it

Vacations are a must for people in their lifetime full of long dreadful hours of working, education,

The president of production at Hanson Productions, an off Broadway production company, was faced
with the same situation for every Broadway production: where to locate, how many seats, what to
charge and how to promote and market the production. There are three separate venues, with three
separate value propositions to the studio, case and audience. While bigger means more seats and more
revenue for each show, there is a capacity percentage that must be factored in to the decision due to
the increased rental costs. Smaller venues may lead to higher capacity percentages, but ultimately

However, determining who is responsible for sports injuries can be a difficult process given the nature

The civil war was a major event in the history of Mississippi. The president during this time was
Jefferson Davis during the years of 1861 1865. Mississippi was the second state to secede from the
union. The view of the state was that it was necessity for the state to have slavery. So the white
soldiers fought for the stand of keeping the slaves. Since they believed that the white citizens needed
the slaves. Many of the battles were along the line of the Mississippi river. There were more than
about 17,000 black men (Mississippi slaves) as well as freedmen that fought for the Union. There
were 500 white men that fought for the Union as well. Many soldiers were upset when they realized
that the war would be lost. In present time, it seemed that slavery was such a long time ago and long
lost. What the people of Mississippi don t realize the actual affect that it had. The men that were lost
during the time period had wives and children that they left behind to start a new generation of what
the fathers fought for. Too look at the past to the present time, Mississippi has come a long way with
the respect for one another as well as the agriculture and economy needs of the residents. They often

Ethics of the Nuremberg Code Essay
From 1946 to 1947, the Nuremberg War Crime Trials took place, withfifteen of twenty three German
physicians and research scientist physicians found guilty of criminal human experimentation projects.
The trial court attempted to establish a set of principles of human experimentation that could serve as
a code of research ethics. The result was the Nuremberg Code, which attempted to provide a natural
law based set of universal ethical principles. Looking beyond the Nuremberg Code and applying it to
modern medical research ethics, there are many challenges that it poses. Many have argued that the
Code tries to provide for all unforeseen events, which restricts the researcher by requiring him to
anticipate every situation, demanding the ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
Hence, a proxy was given to those who did not have legal capacity allowing researchers to expand
their population for experimentation.
The term informed has also been criticized because sometimes even the researcher is not aware of the
risks associated with the experiment or they are too technical for the subject to understand. Thus
scientists have argued that only adequate information should be released to the patient and a full
understanding is not necessary. In this clause, responsibilities are placed on the individual who is
initiating, directing, or engaging the experiment but there is no place for the researcher to be reviewed
for his actions. The scientist is in full control of making any necessary ethical deliberations. The
Declaration of Helsinki added a clause stating experimental protocols should be transmitted to a
specially appointed independent committee for consideration and comments. The third principle of the
Code addresses the justification of the performance of the experiment based on previous studies done
on animals. This may be challenged because the researcher cannot always guarantee success of the
experiment even though it has been successful on animals or in previous studies. Uncertainties in the
experiment will always be present. The Declaration of Helsinki does not

and her children. I went through the procedural routine of making sure that she was not in the center s

alpha card already completed, this would mean that she was a previous client at the shelter and already

health state, how many children she has and if she could be pregnant at the time, her abuser s
demographics, and the presenting primary abuse occurring. I completed these two pages with Julie*
and then from that point an approval staff member will tell you if you can complete the rest of the
intake or tell the client that at the time we cannot offer them services. Julie* was approved to complete

Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. s Heading The Call
Dr. Martin Luther King Jr., a leader well known for his bravery wanted equality between people of all
races. In the passage Heading the Call , Diana Childress writes about his experiences when he was
young. These experiences shaped his beliefs and actions as an adult. King learned about racial
inequality when two sons of a white neighborhood storekeeper stopped playing with him. Whether the
father of the two didn t want them to play with him or the two boys were influenced by the events
around them is not known. Either way King knew this was wrong. His mother was never too subtle
when she explained racial discrimination, but always reminded him that he was as good as anyone .
King also experienced a similar problem when he was in high school. After winning first prize in a
speech contest, he represented his school at a statewide competition. As he returned home to Atlanta
he and his teacher were forced to give up their seats to white passengers and remained seat less for 90
miles. King said he had never been so angry in his life. In the future he would make the choice to

Cultural Conflict between Hmong s and American Culture
This entry book spirit catches you and you fall down is talking about the cultural conflict between the
Hmong s culture and American culture. These differences are brought by the strong beliefs in the
Hmong s culture, and the difficulties to accept a new culture. There is a lot of
misunderstanding/conflicts between these two cultures in the book. Usually, when the doctors are
trying to convince the Lee s family about Lia s treatments, the Lees are stuck in their ways and really
hard to accept what the doctors have to say about their beloved daughter. They believe in their own
ways, even if it is helpful or not. They refuse to accept the doctors ideas, and because the treatments
that the doctors give are based on the scientific experiences, so the doctors believe that the Hmong s
ideas are unreasonable or even stupid .However, when the culture conflicts face the love, these
cultural differences become meaningless, which lead me to think that love is the only way that bring
these cultures to connect.
The Hmong cultural/religious belief in shamanistic animism claim that wicked spirits are continually
searching human souls, mostly those of defenseless or unappreciated children. For Hmong culture,
epilepsy is known as qaug dab peg which means, the spirit catches you and you fall down in English
(Fadiman 1997), which epileptic invasions are seen as affirmation of the epileptic s capability to enter

Foreshadowing The Necklace
In the Necklace written by Guy de Maupassant, the plot of the story was emphasized on the physical
action, wanderings and the problems encountered by the main character. From the beginning, although
her name was not being introduced for long until the middle of the story we can observe that the story
grows out of the main character, Mathilde, who was being introduced about her back story, her
character, her unhappiness with her mediocre life. Despite the fact that she lives in comfortable home
with her loving husband, she is so unsatisfied and demanding that she wants to live in illusory world
where her actual life does not match the ideal life she has in her head. The plot also depends on chance

Who Is Martin Luther King On Christian Liberty
The battle for liberty has been fought on different scales with the beginning of thousands of
revolutions in the history. The ideal liberty is an ultimate goal that inflames the minds of many people
who yearn for individual freedom. In all these struggles, the definition of liberty is not the same for
different people. According to the text, the idea of liberty has played a powerful role in the history of
Western society and culture, but the meaning and understanding of liberty has undergone continual
change and interpretation. For example in the Roman world, liberty meant the condition of being a
free man. In the Middle Ages, liberty meant having special privileges or rights. However, the idea of
liberty under religious dimension was rather new. Martin Luther King had interpreted another
important foundation of liberty in his treatise On Christian Liberty: the important of faith and
Scripture to Christian life.
King meant of liberty was based not on articulation of justification by faith alone but through the word
of Gospel. Perhaps, people should have liberty in terms of their connection to God not controlled or
managed by the Church. King understood human liberty, broadly, as the capacity for a spiritual, new
and inward man to make a man a justified, free and true Christian. According to King, Christian man
is the most free lord of all, and subject to none. Of course, faith gives us true Christian liberty. We are
free from the law as regards our salvation.

Understanding marketing system
The world is rapidly developing in most aspects of human life. In the aspect of economy, companies
or firms nowadays pursue global plans so as to introduce and develop their products as well as their
services in other countries, instead of only focusing on business in their nation. However, the
companies success depends not only on their own activities but also other factors from outside.
Therefore, people have widely adopted marketing systems as a tool to obtain their goals. Some
interesting articles and books address this issue. Layton, a professor of marketing at the University of
New South Wale in Australia, in his articles Marketing Systems: A Core Macromarketing Concept in
2007, examines the ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
Therefore, marketing system is a network of customers and organization that produce product in the
way of economic exchange. For instance, Wilkie and Moore (1999), in panel A: Tiffany breakfast
items have complex network from the start to coffee, and breakfast pastry. In this panel shows the
complication of coffee produce which start from farmer grow coffee leave, transport to the
manufacturing to produce coffee and then enter to the market and become Tiffany coffee. In this
example, economic exchange was happen in each stage of activities such as growing coffee bean,
transport; enter market and taxes GST, seller and buyers.
In the article in 2009, Layton (2009) focuses more on the interaction between the marketing systems
with the economic growth and quality of life. The writer argues that the changes of marketing systems
can effectively or ineffectively affect the development of economy or the well being of society. In
addition, the author maintains that the marketing systems founds in multilayered, multiagent and
developed economies. Moreover, the division of labor and specialization, institutions and social
matrix are factors which strongly impact economic outcomes. In the paper of Dixon and Wilkinson
(1982), the authors argue that marketing is a kind of exchange mechanism that results from buyers and
sellers actions to satisfy their requirements. Furthermore, each person plays one or more specific roles
of different social systems in which

The Pros And Cons Of Surrogacy
Most married couples desired to have a child but unfortunate conditions lead to incompetence. The
inability to conceive left many couples with crashed dream; however, advance technologies found its
way to correct these inabilities. Various types of artificial insemination aid many couples to have a
child. To aid pregnancy or to cure genetic disorder, a chain of processes is conducted called In Vitro
Fertilization (IVF). In this operation, collection of reproductive cell from the ovaries and sperm is
needed. The mature egg will then undergo fertilization and will be implanted to the mother s
reproductive organ. Multiple pregnancy may occur depending on the number of embryo implanted
(IVF, n.d.). The other kind of artificial insemination is the Donor insemination (DI). In donor
insemination, pregnancy can be achieved through a simple process of inserting semen using a syringe
into the reproductive organ of the woman. Usually, another individual aside from the husband donates
the semen (Donor ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...

countries. Surrogacy is legally performed in certain countries such as India. The introduction of
surrogacy raised the economy of India. Many agencies offer surrogacy and the usual consumers are
Western foreigners. In an article written by Divya Gupta (2011), happiness of the Indian women came
from the poverty that urged them to bear children for infertile foreign couples who find the service

Influential Religious Figures
Influential Religious Figures
Influence is the process of producing effects on the actions, behavior, and opinions of another or
others. Influence plays a major role in world religion, as it is present through the activity of key
figures. History has shown that certain religious figures have influenced the creation of three major
religions: Christianity, Judaism and Islam. These three figures are Jesus Christ, Moses and
Muhammad. These figures have gained many followers worldwide by just simply spreading the word
of their respected God. A follower is a person who follows another in regard to his or her ideas or
belief. Through the holy acts of Jesus Christ, Moses, and Muhammad, each figure is looked upon
highly in their respected religions. The nature of Jesus was filled with humanity and divinity, made
him an outstanding figure in the Christian society. Followers of Christianity believe that Jesus was
sent here to Earth to serve, not to be served. What differs Jesus Christ from Moses and Muhammad is
that, he was not just a prophet he was the Son of God. Jesus explained about God and his fathering
abilities and made it clear to society that every man was a child of God ... Show more content on

It is also evident that the three figures have some common characteristics. Moses, like Muhammad is
the author of the Torah books, whereas Muhammad is the author of many Moslem scriptures. Both of
them influence the society through writing down their ideas. They also claim to be inspired by their
God who used them to pass on messages. Jesus and Muhammad spread their belief through preaching
and teaching and asked followers to continue spreading the word of their God. All three figures have
left an impact in their respected religions. Jesus asked people to love one another and by doing this,
they would be closer to God. Moses

How Good and Evil Are Portrayed in the Strange Case of...
The Strange Case of Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde
In the novel The Strange Case of Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde Robert Louis Stevenson explores
humankinds conflicting forces of Good and Evil. Through the central characters and the key theme of
the duplicity of mankind Robert Louis Stevenson successfully portrays the theme of Good and Evil in
the novel The Strange Case of Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde.
In the novel good is portrayed by Henry Jekyll and Gabriel Utterson. Mr. Utterson is a London lawyer
and an old friend of Henry Jekyll, he is loyal to his friends and is concerned about Henry Jekyll and
questions him of his new friend Mr. Hyde to whom he has left his possessions in his will:

This shows both good and evil in Henry Jekyll, he is good in the sense that he wouldn t put his
profession to shame yet evil as although it is Edward Hyde who indulges in his pleasures, it is still Dr.
Jekyll s soul who is directing these actions. In the novel, although Dr. Jekyll does represent good he is
not to represent only good but also evil.
EVIL
In the novel evil is portrayed by Mr. Hyde and as the novel progresses evil begins to gain more power
over good, Mr. Hyde begins to take over Dr. Jekyll and becomes more dominant. Jekyll is beginning
to lose control and his evil side is taking over:
I was slowly losing hold of my original and better self, and becoming slowly incorporated with my
second and worse.
Mr. Hyde is a small and ugly looking man and this contributes to how he is perceived and a person.
His appearance and manner provoke a bad reaction from people:
Gave me one look, so ugly that it brought out the sweat on me like running.
I had taken a loathing to the man at first sight.
At the time Stevenson was writing the novella, people were very judgmental of those who looked
different. Back then, these deformed people would have been shut away. These reactions from the late
1800s had a huge influence on the attitudes that Stevenson s characters had towards Hyde in the book.
Throughout the novel there are many different descriptions of evil. The doors used by Jekyll and Hyde

Romeo And Juliet s Death Essay
Romeo and Juliet is a story that takes place in a small town in Italy named Verona. In this story,
Romeo and Juliet s families constantly fight with each other. Romeo accidentally gets invited to a
Capulet party and attends it in hopes of seeing his love, Rosaline. Instead, Romeo goes and spots
Juliet and forgets about Rosaline and falls in love with how beautiful Juliet was. I believe fate is what
caused Romeo and Juliet s death. I believe this because it was fate the way Romeo was drawn to
Juliet, it was fate how they fell in love on rival sides of the family, and it was fate that Romeo got
invited to that party. First, I think it was fate that caused Romeo and Juliet s death because of the way
Romeo was drawn to Juliet the first time he saw her. I think this because the story states, Beauty too

Quentin Tarantino s Use Of Pastiche In The Film Pulp Fiction
Pastiche is a technique used in artistic works that is constructed from borrowing various elements
from other texts. The strategy of pastiche is present in the film Pulp Fiction (1994) by Quentin
Tarantino and the artistic photographic series Living in Hell and Other Stories by Tom Hunter.
Through these artworks the audience is able to identify a range of textual works that imitate the style
or character of particular artwork, film or literature. Pastiche derives from the late nineteenth century
word pasticcio . This French and Italian word means a pie filled with a variety of ingredients.
Similarly, a pastiche is a reference from multiple sources. It is an example of eclecticism or
intertextuality in art. The meaning of the text is enhanced ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
Pastiche used in film is generally incorporated to create a nostalgic tone. However this is not the case
with Pulp Fiction as the strategy is used to pay homage and show appreciation towards 1950 s pulp
fiction texts and influential films. Tarantino alludes to various aspects, techniques and scenes from
other Hollywood movies into his own. Tarantino stated, I always hope that if one million people see
my movie, they see one million different movies . Elements from Hollywood movies such as
weapons, costumes, camera angles, themes and famous scenes are injected into Pulp Fiction . His film
blurs the line between cinematic styles and genres. Intertextuality is a significant factor within
Tarantino s work, as by reinventing the old he is able to preserve originality and create a sense of
dimension within his work. Tarantino refers to Pulp Fiction not as a movie but as multiple movies. An
example of pastiche within the film is present in the scene in which Marcellus Wallace coincidentally
recognises Butch in his car while walking across the street. This action mimics the scene from Alfred
Hitchcock s Psycho where Marion s boss recognises her as he crosses at traffic lights. Through this
pastiche Tarantino is able to show his appreciation and influence of Hitchcock s infamous films while
also applying the scene in a postmodern context. Another occurrence of pastiche appears in Butches
weapon of choice; a baseball bat and chainsaw. These weapons of choice pay homage to the films

The Causes And Consequences Of Cosmopolitanism By Martha...
The first definition or the basic concept of cosmopolitanism was given by the Greek philosopher
Diogenes. His reply to the question of where did he come from was that he is the citizen of the world.
The concept of the entire world as a single community and the shared existence of all its inhabitants
were established around 300 B.C.. This is where all other forms and the varied definitions of
cosmopolitanism take their source of inspiration from. Cosmopolitanism is a state of mutual existence
and citizenship in a single community regardless of the political allegiance. This community can be

On the grounds of human rights too nationalism had almost always censored certain forms of

witness in the currently globalized and interactive world per se. Even though Tagore was critical of the

heroes in his novels, Tagore s alternative is not cosmopolitanism in place of nationalism. In The Home

Cosmopolitanism is also wounded when you wholly reject the idea of nation with respect to its culture

advocates harmony. If acceptance and respect for all is even a slightest element of the cosmopolitan
philosophy, then Tagore s focus on cultural harmony as well as transnational interaction is nothing but
practicing rooted cosmopolitanism. This is the reason why he was extremely committed to the idea of
the revival and encouragement of the Bengali language among the Hindu elites. Only if a nation is
culturally rich can it have a healthy transnational interaction of cultures. The appreciation of the
multitude of cultures, according to Tagore could also

Working men and women for countless years have struggled to find the balance between succeeding

Marie Slaughter, author of Why Women Still Can t Have It All , and Richard Dorment, author of Why
Men Still Can t Have It All , attempt to depict how working parents make sacrifices that ultimately

Many parents have to make decisions about their careers based off of their unsupportive spouse. With
that many parents struggle to find a way to meet all of their goals and get all that they want

He addresses these problems in rebuttal to Slaughter, who says that society has placed expectations on
women from the beginning. Slaughter s opinion about how society views women in power that leave
their job to be with their family as a euphemism for being fired (Slaughter 682). This is incredibly
wrong if a woman or man chooses to step down to be with their family it should not be so implausible
that they reason that they have been fired. However, society is not only to blame for the pressures
women feel to be perfect. According to Dorment women are too hard on themselves his prime
example being chores in his household. Personally, I agree with both authors to an extent woman are
both pressured by society, but also exceptionally hard on themselves. If women could learn to ignore
society and allow others to take on some of the household responsibilities sometimes maybe some of
the pressure would be relieved from their lives. Although that is a difficult task to ask of any woman if
it is accomplished the household duties that Dorment talks about could more efficiently be split
between spouses. Both essays also address success in

Pinderfield Hospital Interview Report

Initially was really keen in getting the job because I was fed up of cleaning the wards for mediocre
results. I was even more delighted that there was an opportunity to work at Dewsbury Hospital, as I

The poem is a sonnet with three quatrains and a couplet divided into two stanzas that closely
resembles the Petrarchan sonnet form. The speaker emphasizes the traditional aspect of the love
through the conventional form of the sonnet. From the division between the stanzas in a Petrarchan
sonnet, the speaker introduces a shift from the speaker s observation on traditional love because the

Immigration Benefits And Promotes Urbanization
Immigration benefits and promotes urbanization in New York and Vancouver from 1860 to 1920.
The period from the late 19th century to the early 20th century is important in the urban development
history of Canadian and American. Urbanization is a historical process that contains urban
development. Urbanization is a process of population concentration as well as a process that advanced
production modes substitute backward modes. At the same time, it is also the process to adapt to the
mode of production and to innovate lifestyle. Hence, urbanization is a dynamic process that many
aspects of economics, society and culture comprehensively transform caused by the revolution of
social productive forces.
The urban population boost resulted in various benefits. Immigration is a main propelling force to
urbanization. It also propelled optimization of the urban population structure, shaped the
characteristics of urban residence, and also formed civic multicultural style and features. In my
opinion, immigration benefits and promotes urbanization in Vancouver and New York from 1860 to

Canada s urbanization was inherently and closely related with that of Europe and North America.
Local factors and communities elite played a significant role in the development of Canada s cities

Nature And Theories In Management Accounting
CHAPTER TWO
LITERATURE REVIEW
2.1 Introduction
This chapter begins by looking at the literature that will give considerable information about
Management Accounting and the practices of Small and medium Enterprises, bringing out the
interdependence and interrelation of one to the other.
2.2 Overview of Management Accounting
Management accounting was first known as cost accounting. This origin was reflected in the earlier
title for practitioners of cost or works accountants (Wilson and Chua, 1988). Accounting historians
have long endorsed the view that cost accounting is a product of the industrial revolution (Johnson,
1981). For example (Wilson and Chua, 1993) claimed that cost accounting was practiced by the
mechanized, multi process, cotton textile factories that appeared in England and United States around
1800. This point of view was consistent with Garner (1947) who pointed out that cost accounting had

The Crime And Crime Prevention
In the world there are many social problems and most of them affect each and every one of us, such as
cancer or Ebola. One that stands out is the rise in crime in America. Crime is huge in America
although law enforcement say they are doing something about and have it handled, the truth is it is out
of control. Stated in America.Net in an article online Attorney General Eric Holder spoke at the
Project Safe Neighborhoods annual conference in New Orleans on Tuesday, July 13, 2010 and
endorsed three crime control strategies. Law enforcement through cooperative efforts between police,
community and prosecutors to reduce violent crime, and the incarceration of high risk offenders.
Project Safe Neighborhoods. Crime prevention by addressing underlying social issues. Reentry
programs to assist offenders returning from prison. If these programs are being put in place then there
should be a decreased incidence of crime in America. People can t even leave their homes without
having to worry if something is going to happen to them. This is a growing concern in America, but
what is America doing to prevent this from happening? There are many organizations working on the
issue of crime to reduce the number of incidences. There is one main contributing factor lead increases
the likelihood of crime and that is poverty. However, it is ironic that although poverty is a not so
pleasant thing, it is needed to prevent communism and the risk of taking our freedom away as stated as

University of the People Parthenon and Pantheon
The Pantheon is a former Roman temple, it was built in 27 BC. It is the best preserved Ancient Roman
monument, mostly because it has always been in use since it was built. The Pantheon dome is the one
of the largest dome made mainly of unreinforced and is also the oldest standing domed structure in
Rome. Many historians believe that Emperor Augustus right hand, Agrippa, built the first Pantheon in
27 BC, in the region on Augustus. Since the 7th century, it has been used as a Roman Catholic Church
(Pantheon n.d.). On the other hand, Parthenon used to be a temple in the middle of the Acropolis built
between 447 BC and 432 BC in Athens. The Parthenon was directed ... Show more content on

The Parthenon reflects this Greek culture as it is also built on a platform of three steps. Greeks were
famous for their three type of columns Doric, Ionic, and Corinthian. Most of their temples and the
government building had these columns. We see the Greek culture reflected in the Parthenon, as it is a
Doric temple with Ionic architectural features. The platform of the Parthenon measures 69.5 by 30.9
meters, surrounded by Doric columns. Inside the structure of Parthenon, there is the Ionic frieze
decoration running around the exterior walls of the cella reflecting its ancient culture (Parthenon n.d.).
As the Roman were the first to perfect the dome, the pantheon dome serves as a typical example of its

Pros And Cons Of The World Bank And The IMF
The World Bank and the IMF
I am from Bolivia and I have seen the conflicts created by the World Bank fist hand, in my country ,
my city, my streets , my home.
From 1986 to 2001, Bolivia s economic policies were influenced by the World Bank. The Bolivian
government received more than US$ 350 million to solve problems caused by the previous political
instability causing that in 1985 inflation reached a 25000% annually.
The World Bank lent money to Bolivia in exchange for our following their economic policies. These
policies stated that we privatize the state owned enterprises (Gas, Water, Communications, Electric
Power, ETC), increase taxes and reduce the funds for health and education to reduce the budget
deficit.
Unfortunately, none of these policies worked in Bolivia causing serious economic, social and political
conflicts ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
During the confrontations 34 people died , many killed by military snipers.
Conclusion
The World Bank or the IMF is managed by big economically powerful nations, even though they were
created to protect and help countries that are in need . They first look for the benefit of these big
countries and try to make other countries dependent on loans.
The world bank had policies created for the countries that were asking for economical help, but these
were not evaluated and were made without assessing culture and economic capacity of each country.
Each country is different, different people, different resources, different culture and an exhaustive
analysis was necessary to implement any policy . If the IMF had respected the sovereignty of the
country, letting them follow their own rules and letting the people from the country create their own
strategy get afloat, they would have had better

Macro Economic Objective on the Health of the Economy of...
title: a macro economic analysis on the health of the economy of trinidad amp; tobago
methodology employed:
Data for the economy of Trinidad and Tobago was collected from the CSO (Central Statistical Office)
Information was collected for the period (1995 2005) in the areas of economic growth as represented
by changes in GDP (Gross Domestic Product) as well as GNP (Gross National Product),
unemployment, inflation and the balance of payments. This data was then evaluated and analysed to
determine major trends or findings and make recommendations.

WHY SHOULD GDP DATA BE COATED FOR TRINIDAD AND TOBAGO RATHER THAN GNP
DATA
For example in the reading of the budget the finance minister used GDP figures to talk about the
government s management of the economy in the year (2010 2011). GDP statics however does state to
a population listening to the budget about the efficiency of the government in stimulating or increasing
production from locally owned factors of production. GDP statics for Trinidad and Tobago however
are always more attractive than GNP statics as demonstrated in table 1.3 and graph 1.2. Because GDP
statics look and sound superior they are the choice of politicians who always aim to impress. From
graph 1.2 we see that when consideration is given to net property income from abroad GNP is always
less than GDP for the Trinidad and Tobago economy. This is because of the large multinational (MNC)

The Vietnamese Of The Vietnam
Situated on the Indochina peninsula in Southeast Asia, Vietnam is the eastern most country bordered
by China to the north, Laos and Cambodia to the west, the Gulf of Tonkin and the South China Sea to
the east, and the Gulf of Thailand to the south. Prior to the conquest of Indochina by the French,
Vietnam was ruled by the Chinese for more than eight centuries. However, after several years of
resistance the Vietnamese overthrew the Chinese kingdom in their country and thus became
independent. In spite of gaining freedom, the Vietnamese rulers continued to uphold the Chinese
system of governance, policy making and also its culture. In fact, most of the Vietnamese were largely
influenced by the Chinese culture and religion, mainly Taoism, Buddhism and Confucianism.
The French troops entered the land of Vietnam in the year 1858 and by the mid 1880s they had
established a firm grip over the northern region. After the defeat of China in the Franco Chinese war
(1884 85), the French assumed complete supremacy over the central Vietnam
(Annam), the northern Vietnam (Tonkin), the southern Vietnam (Cochinchina) along with Laos and
Cambodia, which they collectively called French Indo china that was formed in the year 1887.
However, France gained control over the southern Vietnam only after it had signed a peace treaty, the
Treaty of Saigon on July 5th, 1862.
The real motive behind the French colonization was profit, economic exploitation and political
supremacy. The demand for

The Media Has a Grasp on Younger Generations
Media can influence every home in America. Not only is it capable of influence through television,
but it can influence through magazines, newspapers, word of mouth, even clothing! The qualities of a
person media tends to influence most, is their self esteem and personality. Women are especially seen
as being influenced, but men are in the bunch as well, although less published. Children are being
brought into the influence as well at younger ages each generation. With more media influence in
families, we can expect more social problems. Many people might think they aren t influenced by the
media, but in actuality they are. Andersen in Thinking About Women writes Each of us sees thousands
of advertisements per day. Advertisements not ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
This influences a man s opinion on his body. Men are built differently depending on their genetics,
and the image most men try to obtain is unattainable due to those genetics. With genetics in play men
won t be able to obtain the wanted image making their self esteem lower than a man who can.
Children are also influenced by the media, but their surrounding increase to impact. Children learn by
observing, and repeating. By watching family remember or other children, they will repeat what is
seen acceptable by the peer or parent. Children want to fit in and want to make their parents proud. In
Jill Conway s anthology Margaretw Mead writes This sense of satisfying one s parents probably has a
great deal to do with one s capacity to accept oneself as a kind of person (303). If parents are reacting
to how the media is trying to conform society, they are unaware of the impact they are sending tho
their children. It can also be seen in other peers at school. Children are basically shunned if they do
not have the latest clothing or look a certain way. As I went out on my own to put my thesis to the test,
I distributed my surveys at various social places. Those places included parks, shopping centers, and
Starbucks cafes. While adding people I knew (10 of them) I asked them through Facebook. I

Political Instability And Armed Conflicts
The Arab world today is shrouded in controversy. Political instability and armed conflicts are
portrayed as the norm throughout the Middle East. According to the pseudo regional specialists, the
causes behind all the conflicts faced are obvious, religion and radicalism. Yet this fails to answer the
question, why , which opens the door to better understand the foundation of the present day Arab
states. This questions the origins to why the Arabs chose to leave the Ottoman Empire and take
support from the British Empire, which at the time seemed contradictory. Unless British involvement
with the Arabs had enticed the revolution, then to what extent did European Jihadist propaganda sway
the Arabs to revolt against the Ottoman Empire in 1916? This paper will discuss that the Arab revolt
against the Ottomans was in an effort take control of the Arab territories for themselves without the
need for external influence to push them into making the decision. As such, the alternative explanation
would be that Sharif Hussein was influenced by the British into believing that the revolt was his
opportunity to liberate the Arabs from the Ottomans. Illustrating this point will be by examining
circumstances that had led to the Arab s decision, understanding how European intervention and
motives shaped the revolt, and assessing the incentives the Arabs had for revolting. In order to fully
understand the nature of the revolt from the eyes of the Arabs, and their reasons for their actions

Wwe By Fatimah Asghar, A Light Is Shone On The Tendencies...
In the poem WWE by Fatimah Asghar, a light is shone on the tendencies of Americans to praise men
and masculinity. More than that, Asghar provides insight to her own experiences with American
culture as a Pakistani woman trying to find her way in this country. In the poem, Asghar expresses her
pride for her country, while simultaneously discussing the assimilation of her aunt to American
culture. In this way, she uses this poem as an outlet to express her experience of becoming American.
Through the use of passionate diction, realistic imagery, couplet form, Asghar is able to paint a clear
picture of the struggles of immigrants trying to assimilate to American culture, and the relationships
between man and woman. Asghar starts the poem off by describing her aunt s actions as she prepares
what is most likely dinner for husband. She describes her actions using rolls and pounds . These
specific words can be seen as a parallel to how one would describe the men in WWE. However, by
using these specific masculine descriptors combined with the action of making her traditional native
food, Asghar is able to create a parallel to her native culture and American culture. She is also able to
show the reader that embracing a new culture does not mean you have to leave all semblances of your
previous culture behind. She does this again when she discusses her aunt watching these men on TV
with kajaled eyes. Kajal is the application of kohl, or eyeliner. This is customary in many

I was afraid this was going to be another depressing book about old people and I wasn t looking

How s he doing? Is he bearing up? What should we do? What? (pg.24) Even though the children s
presence sometimes annoyed Sam, he knew his loving wife Cora was responsible for their caring
ways and he took comfort in that. I can really relate to their worrying and overreacting as I too have
worried about my own Dad during some tough times. Sam was very lucky to have family that cared so
much and lived so close. Many elderly people do not have family close by, family that cares or family
period. Even though Sam feels he can fend for himself and doesn t need his family s help, he really
does need them. This is evident the time he collapsed from the pain in his hip and also when he got
lost on his way to his reunion. Of course, anyone can get lost, however, Sam due to his fragile
condition was unable to leave his truck to get help. If it was freezing or nobody came along to help
him he very likely would have died that night. It really made me think when Sam collapsed from the
pain in his hip. He was in his chair when he woke up and realized he had slept through his television
shows and the TV had signed off for the night. He was in a lot of pain and unable to stand up and get
his medicine and when he finally was able to stand he collapsed. I can t imagine being in so much pain

  • 2. Agricultural Policy in the United States The beginning of agricultural policy in the United States situated around developmental policy until the great depression. The impact of the Great Depression led to farmers losing money, and the United States Government to begin passing laws to distribute subsidies to farmers. Government subsidies and tax policies have both helpful and harmful impacts to the environment. The government has regulated farming in the United States to domestically have little international competition through laws enacted after the Great Depression. More recent laws have manipulated farming to become more than a means of self sustenance, but a corporate capital oriented industry. The impact of federal policy in agriculture on the environment has ultimately benefited large scale agribusinesses at the cost to taxpayers, small farmers, and the environment. The federal government offers a wide range of aid to farmers, including: price supports and price floor programs; crop insurance against both lost crops and lower than expected prices; government purchases of excess food stocks; and promotion of domestic crops through international trade agreements. The United States was forced to develop agriculture price and income support policies after the end of World War I due to the closing of major international export markets. The passing of laws of agricultural subsidies, a price aid to farmers grew from the farm income and financial crises. Agricultural subsidies are justified as necessary to ... In the span of 50 years a lot can change especially when a power struggle began brewing between land hungry President James Polk of the United States and recently independent Mexico. California began its transition from the dominance of Spanish powered Missions to independent Ranchos. In Two Years Before the Mast Richard Henry Dana Jr explores the issue of race and ethnicity from an Anglo perspective in newly opened for trade to foreigners California. From the PBS website, one is able to learn about the Mexican American War of 1846 and the effects it had on the history of the United States and Mexico. Looking deeper into this topic one is able to discover Michael C. White s testimony as a Mexican citizen of Anglo descent fighting for the United States. An important document that changed the course of history was the Treaty of Guadalupe Hidalgo. This document was an agreement between Mexico and the United States and whose certain provisions were then violated by the latter country. According to the Pio Pico official website, he was a victim of such practices as he went from being a prominent figure in society to dying a poor man. A few years after these events, according to the article Crime and Punishment: Los Angeles County, 1850 1856, crimes emerged against the now minorities. The 19th century proved to be a timeframe of big change for Los Angeles. It saw the rise and fall of Mexican power and the social, political and economic changes that came with these events. • 5. How Did Stalin Influence American Culture After World War Two, Stalin s Iron Curtain descended across Europe. This was an attempt by him to isolate and shield the Soviet Union from Western and non Soviet controlled areas. Above all, Stalin and other Soviet leaders feared influence from The United States. Their fear was quite justified, as Soviet people became incredibly curious and eager to borrow and emulate American culture. Similar fears were present in other communist Eastern European countries in the Eastern Bloc. Despite Stalin s and communist leaders attempt at isolation, Eastern European people were still able to breach the Iron Curtain and learn about Western ideas and culture. Culture in the Eastern Bloc became dominated by American taste and culture as early as the 1940s, but it wasn t until the 1970s that rock music began to dominate the scene. The influence of rock and rock in Soviet music can be seen as early as 1957. Prior to this, jazz music had been the popular form of music. • 6. Alcohol And Tobacco Use In Disney Movies As a child, I watched several Disney movies over and over, and as I have entered college and taken women s studies classes, I began to start questioning the influences Disney movies may have on children. Without knowing it, we are constantly being sent messages in society, including television and movies, like Disney movies. Disney movies are often shown to children at a young age and almost always, results in children watching these movies over and over. Disney films have several underlying messages that are often unconscious, but exposing children to these messages can lead children making unconscious connections and form stereotypes constructed on the movies they are exposed to. The purpose of this paper is to discuss under what conditions (if any), children should be shown Disney movies. First, I will summarize main points and findings ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... These instances expose children to harmful substances in a comical fashion with zero explanations of the harmful effects associated with the drug use. The Disney movies that portray these instances are older, but still, have the potential of being watched several times by children. For instance, Beauty and the Beast had 116 exposures of alcohol in the film and 101 Dalmatians had 21 instances of tobacco use. It is difficult to say that Disney movies lead to children trying alcohol and tobacco, but this is one example where these Disney films should be talked to with kids and explain the harmful effects of the substances children are being exposed to. I remember 101 Dalmatians having a lot of smoking references and wonder if these exposures have any impacts on the decision people make. These films are still important to discuss with children especially if it is an older Disney movie and a lot of alcohol or tobacco exposures occur in a film, so the child can begin to understand the negative consequences of those actions from a younger ... • 7. Planet Of Slums By Mike Davis Essay Mike Davis, author of Planet of Slums, predicts the direction in which the world s cities are headed, and how the changes in living conditions are only going to deteriorate if certain trends continue. The title of his book explains Davis s vision for the future of cities as he feels there is enough evidence pointing towards an exponential rise in slum populations across the world s largest cities. Additionally, he expresses his opinion on many issues regarding the rapid rise in developing cities slum populations, although he offers very one sided arguments geared towards those who feel the current system is causing more problems rather than improving current conditions. This causes Davis to overlook the problems of slums as resolvable through different modes of assistance such as international aid programs. Instead, he views aid programs as the root cause of imbalance created during industrialization. Throughout the book, Davis presents information that confirms his preconceptions towards the slums. Therefore, all the evidence that is presented by him portrays confirmation bias as Davis fails to mention anything about the resolution of the problem of the growing number of slums and instead sees this problem as unavoidable. Particularly, Davis writing, although intended for the general population, is more geared towards critics who have similar ideas. Instead of providing the means through which the economy could be improved and the problem of slums could be resolved, it is ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...

Ethics of the Nuremberg Code Essay From 1946 to 1947, the Nuremberg War Crime Trials took place, withfifteen of twenty three German physicians and research scientist physicians found guilty of criminal human experimentation projects. The trial court attempted to establish a set of principles of human experimentation that could serve as a code of research ethics. The result was the Nuremberg Code, which attempted to provide a natural law based set of universal ethical principles. Looking beyond the Nuremberg Code and applying it to modern medical research ethics, there are many challenges that it poses. Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... Hence, a proxy was given to those who did not have legal capacity allowing researchers to expand their population for experimentation. The term informed has also been criticized because sometimes even the researcher is not aware of the risks associated with the experiment or they are too technical for the subject to understand. Thus scientists have argued that only adequate information should be released to the patient and a full understanding is not necessary. In this clause, responsibilities are placed on the individual who is initiating, directing, or engaging the experiment but there is no place for the researcher to be reviewed for his actions. The scientist is in full control of making any necessary ethical deliberations. The Declaration of Helsinki added a clause stating experimental protocols should be transmitted to a specially appointed independent committee for consideration and comments. The third principle of the Code addresses the justification of the performance of the experiment based on previous studies done on animals. In the passage Heading the Call , Diana Childress writes about his experiences when he was young. These experiences shaped his beliefs and actions as an adult. King learned about racial inequality when two sons of a white neighborhood storekeeper stopped playing with him. Whether the father of the two didn t want them to play with him or the two boys were influenced by the events around them is not known. Either way King knew this was wrong. His mother was never too subtle when she explained racial discrimination, but always reminded him that he was as good as anyone . King also experienced a similar problem when he was in high school. After winning first prize in a speech contest, he represented his school at a statewide competition. As he returned home to Atlanta he and his teacher were forced to give up their seats to white passengers and remained seat less for 90 miles. King said he had never been so angry in his life. Cultural Conflict between Hmong s and American Culture This entry book spirit catches you and you fall down is talking about the cultural conflict between the Hmong s culture and American culture. These differences are brought by the strong beliefs in the Hmong s culture, and the difficulties to accept a new culture. There is a lot of misunderstanding/conflicts between these two cultures in the book. Usually, when the doctors are trying to convince the Lee s family about Lia s treatments, the Lees are stuck in their ways and really hard to accept what the doctors have to say about their beloved daughter. They believe in their own ways, even if it is helpful or not. They refuse to accept the doctors ideas, and because the treatments that the doctors give are based on the scientific experiences, so the doctors believe that the Hmong s ideas are unreasonable or even stupid .However, when the culture conflicts face the love, these cultural differences become meaningless, which lead me to think that love is the only way that bring these cultures to connect. The Hmong cultural/religious belief in shamanistic animism claim that wicked spirits are continually searching human souls, mostly those of defenseless or unappreciated children. For Hmong culture, epilepsy is known as qaug dab peg which means, the spirit catches you and you fall down in English (Fadiman 1997), which epileptic invasions are seen as affirmation of the epileptic s capability to enter and stay temporarily into the spirit world (unconsciousness). • 18. Who Is Martin Luther King On Christian Liberty The battle for liberty has been fought on different scales with the beginning of thousands of revolutions in the history. The ideal liberty is an ultimate goal that inflames the minds of many people who yearn for individual freedom. In all these struggles, the definition of liberty is not the same for different people. According to the text, the idea of liberty has played a powerful role in the history of Western society and culture, but the meaning and understanding of liberty has undergone continual change and interpretation. For example in the Roman world, liberty meant the condition of being a free man. In the Middle Ages, liberty meant having special privileges or rights. However, the idea of liberty under religious dimension was rather new. Martin Luther King had interpreted another important foundation of liberty in his treatise On Christian Liberty: the important of faith and Scripture to Christian life. King meant of liberty was based not on articulation of justification by faith alone but through the word of Gospel. Perhaps, people should have liberty in terms of their connection to God not controlled or managed by the Church. King understood human liberty, broadly, as the capacity for a spiritual, new and inward man to make a man a justified, free and true Christian. According to King, Christian man is the most free lord of all, and subject to none. Of course, faith gives us true Christian liberty. We are free from the law as regards our salvation. ... Anne Marie Slaughter, author of Why Women Still Can t Have It All , and Richard Dorment, author of Why Men Still Can t Have It All , attempt to depict how working parents make sacrifices that ultimately lead to success in the workplace and as parents. I consider Richard Dorment more convincing in his essay than Anne Marie Slaughter, because he provides compelling arguments about equality in parenting, success in the workplace, and paternity ... With that many parents struggle to find a way to meet all of their goals and get all that they want accomplished. Dorment also stresses the unrealistic pressure women put on themselves to be perfect. He addresses these problems in rebuttal to Slaughter, who says that society has placed expectations on women from the beginning. Slaughter s opinion about how society views women in power that leave their job to be with their family as a euphemism for being fired (Slaughter 682). This is incredibly wrong if a woman or man chooses to step down to be with their family it should not be so implausible that they reason that they have been fired. However, society is not only to blame for the pressures women feel to be perfect. According to Dorment women are too hard on themselves his prime example being chores in his household. Personally, I agree with both authors to an extent woman are both pressured by society, but also exceptionally hard on themselves. If women could learn to ignore society and allow others to take on some of the household responsibilities sometimes maybe some of the pressure would be relieved from their lives. Although that is a difficult task to ask of any woman if it is accomplished the household duties that Dorment talks about could more efficiently be split between spouses. The interview went really well and the Senior Sister gave me an offer instantly. However upon realising that I could only work part time (23 hours/ week) and not a bank position, I started to wonder whether the job will be suitable for me. Initially was really keen in getting the job because I was fed up of cleaning the wards for mediocre results. I was even more delighted that there was an opportunity to work at Dewsbury Hospital, as I missed volunteering there a lot. However I was upset that a bank position was not available (despite advertising it) and that I had to work contracted hours. The interview went well. This was no surprise as a lot of the questions were based on protocols and the job description (which I knew fairly well). There was one question that did throw me; asking how I could improve a patient s memory (and therefore, decrease the risk of dementia). I tried to stay calm throughout, however, I did feel like I mumbled a lot in my answers. However the Senior Sister insisted that I worked on her ward (a stroke rehab), so I m glad I ... Through personification, allusion, irony, imagery, and dialogue, the speaker initially portrays the idealistic view of love, but later rejects and mocks the belief in such love. The poem incorporates elements from both the Petrarchan and Shakespearean sonnet, which emphasizes the traditional everlasting love and hints freedom of love by the unconventionality of mixing both forms. The speaker emphasizes the traditional aspect of the love through the conventional form of the sonnet. From the division between the stanzas in a Petrarchan sonnet, the speaker introduces a shift from the speaker s observation on traditional love because the second stanza in a Petrarchan sonnet presents a counterargument. With the shift, the speaker suggests a separation between the traditional and modern love; therefore, the Petrarchan sonnet emphasizes the differences between the past and the present. Even though I am educated about my problems and know better, many times I have berated myself harshly for my weakness or even found fault in my very existence. According to the pseudo regional specialists, the causes behind all the conflicts faced are obvious, religion and radicalism. This questions the origins to why the Arabs chose to leave the Ottoman Empire and take support from the British Empire, which at the time seemed contradictory.
