Process And Analysis Essay
Writing a Process and Analysis Essay can be a challenging task that requires a careful balance of
analytical thinking and effective communication. The difficulty lies in the dual nature of the
essay, where you not only have to explain a process step by step but also analyze it critically.
This type of essay demands clarity, precision, and a deep understanding of the subject matter.
To start with, one must thoroughly research and understand the chosen process. Whether it's a
scientific experiment, a cooking recipe, or a complex technical procedure, a solid grasp of the
details is crucial. You need to break down the process into manageable steps, ensuring that each
one is described with clarity and coherence.
Additionally, the analysis part adds another layer of complexity. It requires the writer to go
beyond mere description and delve into the reasons behind each step, the significance of the
process, and its broader implications. This involves critical thinking and the ability to articulate
your insights in a logical and convincing manner.
Organizing the essay is another challenge. You need to decide on a clear and coherent structure
that guides the reader through the process while integrating your analysis seamlessly. The
transitions between steps and the analysis should be smooth to ensure the essay flows well.
Moreover, finding the right balance between the technical details of the process and the
analytical discussion is crucial. Too much emphasis on either aspect can make the essay
imbalanced and less effective. Striking the right tone and maintaining a consistent level of detail
throughout the essay is a skill that takes practice to master.
In conclusion, writing a Process and Analysis Essay is no easy feat. It demands a combination of
research, analytical thinking, and effective communication. However, with careful planning,
attention to detail, and practice, one can develop the skills necessary to tackle this challenging
task successfully.

Characters Of A Dog In The Golden Compass, By Philip
Pullman
Three years ago, my family adopted a dog. I ending up being the one who was
most reluctant to making the final decision and still was even after he had entered
our family. I was the one who thought of all the negatives for we don t need a dog
incorporated into our busy lives. For the first few weeks I did not like this dog,
and the dog new it. Over time, I started to relate and bond with this dog. I saw how
he was different, he did not act like a normal dog of his breed, different from the
rest. I find the same thing in myself in my family, not like the others, but were both
of us are still included and loved. Now, the dog that I didn t want and I are closer
than any of my other family members are with him. In the novel The Golden
Compass, the author Philip Pullmandevelops a similar type of relationship for each
of his characters called daemons. These companions reflect a certain person s
identity, soul, and changes in feeling through their different forms, usually as
animals. I am being considered for Mr. Pullman s next novel and he has asked me
to develop daemons of my own for the next book in his series. After a few days of
thinking I have decided on three animals that would be a great representation of me
in daemon form, an owl, a lemur, and a butterfly. Throughout my academic career I
have tended to be a good student who got excellent in elementary school and
straight A s in middle school. So what better daemon to have than owl to represent
this side of me. I tend to have the ability to understand concepts and make them
concrete easily when explained complete and thoroughly. This form of myself not
only comes during school work but any time that I have to be analytical. One place
that I have to show my thinking is on the tennis court, a sport that I play year round.
Tennis is very much a mindgame and at my higher level of play, I am forced to
compete more and more strategically while also maintaining my consistent
fundamental skills. This means observing what your opponents weakness is and
applying it to the match so swing it into your favor. Placement, direction, speed,
spin, are all things that need to be considered during every point. My owl is not only
limited to its analytical side but its

Nature vs. Nurture Shown in Family Addiction
Consider the following scenario: John and his mother are both alcoholics. John has
been exposed to his mother s inappropriate relationship with alcohol since before he
was born. In the age old debate of nature vs. nurture, some would say it was merely
natural for John to follow his mother s path, a la the apple does not fall far from the
tree his addiction was inherited. Others would argue that John s childhood
experiences and home environment led him on the road to addiction. Many might
question whether John would have fared better if he had been raised elsewhere.
While John may have been a victim of circumstance or fate, a completely different
angle can be considered. Perhaps John s alcoholism is a genetic result a result that
was influenced by his unfortunate environmental factors. In other words, John
inherited his nature via his nurture. The positions surrounding the explanation of John
s outcome have been debated for centuries by ordinary people, philosophers,
geneticists and psychologists. With recent advancements, a second genome has been
recognized and established as the epigenome, which is directly influenced by the
outside environment (Francis). While extreme positions still exist within the nature
vs. nurture debate, most scientists now agree that a combination of the two
determines one s outcome; with the burgeoning field of epigenetics, however, the
ability to overcome one s genes, to some extent, ends the debate and offers hope that

The Importance Of Internment In John Okada s No-No Boy
Ichiro Yamada, in John Okada s No No Boy, plays a major role in defining American
ness in the novel. From the very start of the book, readers may note that the rest of
society indefinitely identifies Ichiro as Japanese, due to his unique appearance
compared to the white majority of America and his refusal to join the military during
Japanese internment. While Ichiro was interned, the government required a Loyalty
Questionnaire to be administered to all Japanese interned in the camps. Two major
questions determined, in Ichiro s eyes, either acceptance or unacceptance into
American society: one being the will to serve in the army whenever asked and
swearing allegiance to the United States and forswearing allegiance to the Emperor of
Japan ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
The gradual decrease of Japanese pride is also emphasized with the fact that he sees
himself as only half Japanese, since one does not speak and...play and fight and see
and hear in America among Americans...without becoming American and loving it
(16). He explains this uncertainty about his national identity as the reason behind
why he refused to go serve in the army in the first place.
Later in the novel, as Ichiro converses with Emi, he considers the possibility that
his decision was not out of Japanese nationalism, but due to the societal ideal that
one must choose if they are Japanese or American; being both is impossible (84).
Subsequently, the allegorical message that he is not masculine enough, which in a
way defines American ness in American culture, is portrayed by the beating he
receives from Taro s friends. At first, the initial visual image of the scene views the
situation as only an attack on Ichiro. However, the second underlying meaning
behind this literal attack is portrayed by when There was a sharp and slender youth
bent over him with a wide grin and started to slip the knife blade under the leather
belt (73). The action of slipping the knife blade under Ichiro s leather belt infers the
attempt to castrate him to further emasculate him, which represents that he does not
belong to society as both a person of color and as an American man due to refusing to
serve in the army. Furthermore, although the story concludes that society

Understanding Matrix Structures
Module 5 Critical Thinking: Understanding Matrix Structures An organization s
capacity for responding effectively to dynamic change derives from a synergistic
combination of people, processes, and flexible organizational structures (Gibson,
Ivancevich, Donnelly, Konopaske, 2009). The flexibility of an organization s
structure depends on the relationships that determine organizational workflow,
authority and communication (Covin, Slevin, Schultz, 1994). As an example, this
paper describes a matrix structure, offers recommendations for its use, and discusses
the advantages and disadvantages of a matrix relative to the need for organizational
flexibility and responsiveness. The Matrix Structure A matrix structure can be
thought of as... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
For example, information needed from various functions for completing a project can
be exchanged more efficiently when horizontal channels are used. A further
advantage of horizontal linkages arises from an increased organizational capability
for coping with the high information overload that accompanies change by enabling
the sharing of processing resources (Larson Gobeli, 1987). These lateral linkages also
increase organizational flexibility and responsiveness by enabling the rapid
acquisition and deployment of scarce human and technical resources (Ford Randolph,
1992). For example, the ability to dispatch specialized technical knowledge on
demand for resolution of a problem anywhere along the project dimension increases
overall technical quality and responsiveness. The very same characteristics that are
seen as advantages of a matrix also present numerous disadvantages, which can
potentially diminish the level of organizational flexibility and responsiveness to
change (Ford Randolph, 1992). The duality of a matrix tends to create ambiguity and
conflict in terms of identifying the lines of authority and responsibility for
organizational decision making (Larson Gobeli, 1987). In addition, the confusing
ambiguity of a dual reporting relationship often forces employees to reconcile
conflicting responsibilities and priorities, which, in turn, causes considerable stress,
diminished motivation and commitment, and increased resistance to change (Ford

Essay On Prostate Cancer
Elder Care Services and Prostate Cancer
The Centers for Disease Control says that prostate cancer is the most common
cancer in American men (other than skin cancer). Each year a man ages, his chances
of developing prostate cancer increases. The good news is that prostate cancer does
not typically lead to further health problems and spreads slowly. In fact, many doctors
are now recommending, especially in seniors, that the cancer is monitored (an action
known as active surveillance) and not treated unless absolutely necessary, since the
side effects of surgery or other treatment options are often far worse than the prostate
cancer itself.
The prostate is part of the male reproductive system. This walnut sized gland is

Sometimes and enlarged prostate is not caused by cancer but by a medical problem
called benign prostatic hyperplasia (enlarging of the prostate).
There is currently no one set of traits or behaviors that are linked to prostate cancer.
The CDC notes, however, that if a man has a father, brother, or son who has had
prostate cancer [he] is two to three times more likely to develop the disease himself.
A man may suspect he has prostate cancer if he starts to have difficulty urinating and
/or cannot fully empty the bladder, experiences frequent nighttime urination, has a
burning sensation while urinating or sees blood in the urine, experiences pain the
back of the pelvis, or experiences painful ejaculation. These symptoms do not
necessarily mean that prostate cancer is present, but a medical check up is certainly
warranted, especially if more than one of the symptoms is experienced.
The doctor can check for an enlarged prostate through a manual examination of the
gland. They will also draw blood to check for abnormal levels of prostate specific
antigen, or PSA. If the levels are too high, a biopsy of the prostate may be

Scarface Analysis Essay
The gangster movie genre is one of the most popular among the modern movies
and some of the best film directors have produced some very excellent gangster
movies. For my first film analysis, I decided to analyze my favorite gangster movie
of all time. The movie that I analyzed is called Scarface and is directed by Brian De
Palma. It was released in 1983 and is still a super hit movie today. Let me go
through a short summary of the movie. The movie is focused around the life of a
man by the name of Tony Montana and depicts his rise to power from a political
refugee from Cuba to a drug warlord. In the course of the movie, Tony Montana also

Second, I want to cover the cause and effects registered in this movie. A very
reoccurring cause and effect in this movie is whenever Scarface gets angry or mad
he snorts more and more cocaine. I found this relatively funny because by the end
of the movie he is snorting a ton of cocaine that leads up to his demise. Another
effect that is shown throughout the movie is Scarface growing in success and
reputation. The cause of this is the many successful business deals that he
undertakes and engages in. Another effect is that he makes more and more
enemies along the way. This is due to his reputation and power rising. Another
cause and effect occurs when Scarface has an argument with his wife and yells at
her about her not being able to produce any children for him. This later on causes
him to fail a mission because he is not able to bring himself to kill children. A
major cause and effect in the story occurs when Scarface sees that his best friend is
with his sister. At this point Scarface kills his best friend, which causes his sister to
go into major depression, and which pushes him to indulge in even more cocaine
which leads to disaster. Next, let us discuss the primary causal agent in this film. I
believe that the primary causal agent in this film is an ideology and not a person.
The story portrays capitalism as a pursuit of happiness for the main character. If I did
not analyze this film, I may have not found that capitalism is the cause
Marvin Gaye Pros And Cons
A court ruled this week that Blurred Lines singers Robin Thicke and Pharrell
Williams must pay Marvin Gaye s children $7.3 million for infringing on the
copyright of Gaye s 1977 song Got to Give It Up. Such plagiarism cases have been
a familiar refrain in the music business for decades, and Thicke and the Voice
coach are just the latest performers to be slapped. As troubling as it is to learn that
favorite artists may not be as original as they claim to be, taking legal action against
big name celebrities for song stealing is surprisingly common. Acts from Led
Zeppelin and the Beatles to BeyoncГ© and Jay Z have been accused of musical theft.
Starting with the latest, here are some recent high profile musical plagiarism cases.

Compare And Contrast Cosi And Shrek
In Louis Nowra s Cosi it becomes evident that the only way to maintain healthy and
positive relationship is through communication. This is because communication leads
to understanding, this has been concluded, based on the contrast made between
effective and ineffective communication. Furthermore, in the movie Shrek by Andrew
Adamson and Abhay Kapoor s book, Rani the notion of communication leading to
understanding is further emphasised. In Cosi, after a contrast between the
relationships of each character based on the way they communicate with one another,
it has become clear that ONLY effective communication leads to the understanding of
the issues faced by each character. Furthermore, Nowra has went on to outline that

breed that is totally devoted to his owner. He is an active, patient, and independent
dog, although not as busy as other terriers. This breed is affectionate with his
owners but can be moody and stubborn. He is usually reserved with strangers. This
is not a dog to be pampered. He needs a firm and consistent training from puppy

passive resistant and is quite difficult to be trained on the Stay and Come commands.
Battle Of The Sexes Analysis
The Battle of the Sexes Sherlock Holmes is the fundamental character of the
wrongdoing/puzzle novel and scene arrangement. Holmes demonstrates the way his
observational aptitudes help him to prevail as an investigator. Holmes is considered
to demonstrate no feeling along these lines, directing him as the machine . Holmes
demonstrates a ton of routes on how he makes sense of the cases he researches. The
viewer can see the connection amongst Adler and Holmes indicates the way they tend
to each other. In the film Holmes demonstrates his character is more observational
than in the story. Holmes communicates his observational abilities and apathetic traits
diversely in A Scandal in Bohemiathan in A Scandal in Belgravia .
The short story A Scandal in Bohemia concentrates on how Irene Adlerbreaks
Sherlock Holmes down. Sherlock Holmes is known for being the most brilliant
individual in the room. Holmes never needs to stress over somebody out hurting
him, until the point when he meets the woman . Everybody knows Holmes to be
the man that knows how to explain any case that is tossed at him, aside from in
this one. In the story, Holmes is procured to make sense of where Adler has the
critical photos covered up. Holmes goes to discover Adler, however discovers she
has been away for some time. Adler leaves a snapshot and letter for Holmes.
Knowing Holmes as the best criminologist ever, he has never been out smarted by
anybody. As Adler being a lady Holmes never anticipated that her mind would have
the capacity to deceive him. Men are customized uniquely in contrast to ladies
which influences Holmes self image to diminish by being incited by a lady, the
best plans of Mr. Sherlock Holmes were beaten by a woman s wit (Doyle; 26).
Holmes is tested by affliction with Adler deceiving him, which then gets him to
crumble. Perusers can tell that Holmes feels like he lost his heart or soul. Watson
says, And when he speaks of Irene Adler, or when he refers to her photograph, it is
always under the honourable title of the woman (26). After him coming up short,
Holmes still alludes to her as the woman rather than Irene Adler. Holmes can t even
mention Alders name which the reader can tell how she has influenced his
Conclusion Of Forensic Accounting

1946 essay Forensic Accounting: Its
Place in Today s Economy. By the late 1940s, forensic accounting had proven its
worth during World War II; however, formalized procedures were not put in place
until the 1980s when major academic studies in the field were published
(Rasey, 2009). Since the 1980s in some Western countries, particularly in the USA, a
new profession in the field of accounting and auditing has emerged. This profession
identifies a field composed of accounting, auditing, and investigative skills (Ozkul

agrees that financial scandals in business organization have raised the awareness that
accountants should be alert to potential fraud and other illegal activities while

The Views And Components Of Classical Liberalism
The views and components of classical liberalism are evident in every aspect of the
socioeconomic status and practices of the United States. The extent to which varies
considerably depending on which facet of the government one considers, but the
underlying principles on which the legislative and economic values base themselves
on directly conforms with classical liberalism. Although liberalism is a relatively new
ideology, most industrialized countries identify with the it s policies and agenda to
some degree. The major political parties in the United States differ on the political
spectrum, however, they both share values associated with liberalism thought. As
European countries, as well as the American Colonies, began the transitional process
from agrarian to industrialized societies, they became dependent on one another for
goods, thus introducing capitalistic and free market economies. Those classified as
proletarians, or working class citizens, noticed that they were slowly being
interchanged with machinery, while the upper classes profited by substantial
additions to their total wealth. With this prosperity, they began to invest in their
respective communities, constructing educational institutions; sparking an integration
between the working class and the classes above them (Lal 49). As machinery and the
possibility to gain an education became prevalent in industrialized countries, working
class citizens decided to homogenize with the new technology or educate
Ghana And The Ivory Coast
Both Ghana and the Ivory Coast have been colonized in the 19th and 20th century,
and both managed to gain their independence peacefully. After gaining their
independence Ghana and the Ivory Coast were seen as economic and political
models for African countries but facts and statistics from today will show that
Ghana has emerged as one of Africa s most stable democratic countries meanwhile
the Ivory Coast is only starting to recover from its last civil war. How can two
neighboring countries who have similar pasts at similar time frames become so
different? What dependent and independent variable have changed the course these
two countries were set out to take? We will answer these two questions and will pay
close attention as to how and why these once similar countries became so different.
In the 1940s, African merchants like George Alfred Grant, had come to agree to
finance a political movement targeting independence in order to assure their interests
against colonial practices. The movement (founded by J. B. Danquah) was a
combination of chiefs, academics, and lawyers such as Edward Akufo Addo
(politician and lawyer). Ebenezer Ako Adjei (member of the big six) recommended
inviting Nkrumah, whom accepted the offer. Danquah and Nkrumah disagreed over
the direction of the independence movement and parted ways after two years.
Nkrumah went on to form the Convention People s Party and eventually became the
first president of independent Ghana. In 1957 Ghana declared its

Staples Inventory Delayed Ratio
The times interest earned ratio is used to show a company s ability to meet the
current portion of its debt obligations. Having a negative times interest earned ratio
is not desirable because it signals the inability of a company to meet its interest
payments. Inability to meet interest payments is an alarming signal that a
company is not doing well, and could even be headed towards default on debt or
even bankruptcy. Staples had a positive times interest earned ratio in all five years,
even in 2012 when the company had a net loss. This is a good sign in that the
company has always been able to meet its debt obligations even in years where it
could not ultimately provide a return to its shareholders. Staples position is even

What is very important here is that Office Depot has a significantly better turnover

opportunity for Staples to find more efficient ways to utilize the facilities that it has
to generate better returns, or to close inefficient facilities and cut down on expenses.
Because Staples is in a generally better financial position than is Office Depot, it
could likely replicate their success in this area if proper resources were devoted to the

Separation between Love and Marriage in Mary the Wrongs of Woman, She Stoops

Our aim in this paper will be to analyze and discuss the different ways in which love
and marriage were dealt with during the eighteenth century and to what extent these
two terms were linked together or considered as opposite. To accomplish this matter
we are going to focus our attention on several works that are representative from this
period and that reflect in an accurate way the social mores and more specifically,
marriage conventions and romantic love. Throughout this discussion we will be
emphasizing the idea that marriage is represented in these works as an institution
completely detached from love and that it ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...

for the program; there are many problems that arise from the food stamps program.
The primary problem in terms of decision making is the fraud associated with the
food stamp program. According to Tanner as quoted in the Millions Commit Food

Though the duplicate cases were caught, it is not documented how many of those
cases were fraud. There is a lot of data that would need to be analyzed in order to
fully understand the primary problem. One statistic to start with would be to find
out how many people are in need of receiving food stamps. From there, it would be
important to know how many of those people participate in the food stamp
program, and how many people do not. For those who are eligible to receive
benefits but chose not to, it would be important to find out the reason why they do
not partake in the program. After the preliminary information surrounding the need
of the program is assessed, the most helpful information would be to find out how
many cases of fraud there is in a given year. Knowing how relevant the problem is
that exists would be a great place to start in finding a solution. Additionally, for the
controversial solutions that have been introduced, such as the fingerprinting
methods, more substantial data needs to be analyzed to determine the success of
the program. According to the podcast there were 600,000 New York citizens
eligible for food stamps who did not apply for the program (NPR, 2012). However,
it did not state whether this was directly related to the implementation of the
fingerprinting program. It would be beneficial to find out why those people did not
apply for the program, and how many of those people did not apply because of the

Granger Vs Weasley
The Harry Potter books are acclaimed for a long list of attributes that make them
such impeccable literature, among these includes a collection of strong female
characters. Two such characters are Hermione Granger and Ginny Weasley, both of
whom have had an important impact on the series s hero, Harry Potter. While they
both play a prominent role, they are extremely different. One is a pureblood, the
other a muggleborn. One is part of a large family, one is an only child. One is
bookish, while the other is more athletically inclined. While Rowling s female
characters are each a sum of their different backgrounds, relationships, and abilities,
they can still stand side by side in battle, demonstrating their diverse, yet equally
strong characters.
Hermione Granger is an only child, born to married dentists, and has never had to

Aside from being shy around Harry for a couple years, Ginny found it easy to talk
to and hang around most people. This is due, in part, to her large family. Growing
up with multiple siblings tends to make someone an outgoing person, but having
brothers so close in age opens up possibilities for friendships outside their grade or
age. In the case of Ginny, this is especially true. While she maintained many
relationships within her year at Hogwarts, having Ron, a brother only a year older,
made it easy to interact and get along with his friends, opening up a larger social
circle than Hermione ever had. Ginny also engages in more romantic relationships
than Hermione. Within the span of 3 years, Ginny participates in romantic
relationships with Michael Corner, Dean Thomas, and finally Harry Potter. Each of
these are passionate relationships, and with the exception of Harry Potter, fairly
The Chaucer s The Pardoner s Tale
The Pardoner s Tale is a package in book form. It has it all greed, gluttony,
drunkenness, murder, bad guys getting what s coming to them. What s not to like?
And we don t even need a pardon after reading it, because in the end, it s a morality
lesson (Do you get it?) Anyways, the pilgrims are going on a trip from London to
Canterbury, where a group of medieval pilgrims are making their way to visit the
remains of Saint Thomas Becket in the hope of getting some forgiveness from sin. To
pass the time, they take turns telling stories. They will each tell a tale and the one
they find the most amusing they will get a prize! One of them is a Pardoner, a low
level Church official who travels around selling pardons, which are just what they
sound like. Pardons are documents signed by the Pope that grants pardon for sins.
The host asks the pardoner to tell a tale. Before he began his tale, the Pardoner
exposes himself. Before he starts his tale, he reveals himself. He does that by
revealing the tricks of his trade to all the pilgrims. This Pardoner roams all over
the countryside giving out pardons and fake relics just to get money. That s all he
cares about; he couldn t care less about the souls of the people who buy his pardons
and relics. He d take money from the poorest person in town if he had to (money,
money, money that s all he cares about) When he finally tells his tale, he describes it
as one of the morality tales he preaches to encourage penitence and to
Themes In For Whom The Bells Tolls
We all are put to the test by having to make sacrifices like a life or death situation.
Although the majority of those choices may be for the greater good, some can hurt
others. We are put to the task, and we have several obstacles in our way, and it is
our duty to accomplish that task. In Ernest Hemingway s For Whom the Bells
Tolls, the character of Robert Jordan risks his life to fight fascism to do his duty, take
care of Maria and to wash away his father suicide.
To begin with, Robert Jordan takes care of the woman he loves, Maria. Ever since
Robert Jordan went with the reclusive group in the mountain, the two of them had
empathy of love towards each other. Robert Jordan tries to reject the adulation they
have for each other because he thinks that after the bridge is blown, they will not
see each other anymore. Maria refuses to think that and shows all her love towards
him. Soon Robert Jordan seems to care more about Maria and uses their passion for
each other as a distraction from the war. Hewson states that Jordan comes to realize
that he and Maria are making an alliance against death through their love for each
other (6). Their love for each other designates them forget about everything, and all
they want to do is be together. The alliance against death that they have is significant
in the story. Being together assembles them to feel powerful and gives them both
hope and strength during their hard times there. This helps out both of these
characters in their own

Types of Computer Information Systems
There are four basic types of computer based information Systems: Transaction
Processing Systems (TPS) Record day to day transactions such as customer orders,
bills, inventory. Helps supervisors by generating databases needed for other
information Systems. Examples: recording customer orders, bills, inventory levels,
and production output. Management Information Systems (MIS) Summarizes the
detailed data of the transaction processing system. Produces standard reports for
middle level managers. Examples: Production schedule and budget summaries.
Decision Support Systems (DSS) Draws on the detailed data of the transaction
processing system. Provides a flexible tool for middle level managers for analysis.
Examples: Analyzing the effects of events such as strikes, rising interest rates, etc.
Executive Support Systems (ESS) Presents information in a very highly summarized
form. Combines the internal data from TPS and MIS with external data. Helps top
level managers oversee operations and develop strategic plans. Examples:

Spirited Away Religion
Andrew Proskin Religions 101 001 Extra Credit 3 12/8/16 Spirited Away This is a
movie by the Japanese producer Hayao Miyazaki. He has written and produced
many movies that portray religion in some way. The one I chose to focus on is
called Spirited away. In the movie, the Main character is a small girl named
Chihiro. The little girl ends up getting lost into a spirit world. When she goes into
the spirit world her name gets taken from her and she begins a journey to get back
her name and get to her parents. At the end of the movie she does get bac to her
parents but she isn t the same she is more mature. This movie seems to have some
ties to Shinto religions. Shinto is a religion that thinks that everything is
interconnected or interdependent. To experience the goodness someone must have
a pure heart (korko). When people stray away from it they are considered polluted.
The bath house in the movie may be seen as symbolism for getting purification

Super Bowl Argument Essay
As a company that sales beer to adult consumers one would expect parties and
young adults to appear in their commercial. However, Budweiser took another
approach a couple of years ago by including animals as the main focus point.
During the super bowl in 2015 Budweiser provided a sequel from Puppy Love
called Lost Dog . The first commercial already had 14 million views and was
extremely popular with viewers. This commercial is meant for everyone that s
able to drink and the slogan at the end say #bestbud . The purpose of this
advertisement is to become memorable with millions by using pathos, ethos, and

famous Puppy Love was adored by million the previous year. A similar concept
was used for this commercial by having a golden retriever puppy and Clydesdale

Firewall And The Security Levels
The modern world is being automated in all fields in various aspects. Automation is
achieved by the software development and this result in a faster work

also got proportionate threat of misusing the software. As the internet has extended
its roots providing access to various networks and also may provide access to
inappropriate users. So, it is necessary to protect these networks and this purpose is
served by network security. The security levels can be classified into two they are

For every firewall there are certain policies or a set of rules which describe the
functionality of that firewall. Firewall follows these policies and makes decision,
whether to allow or decline a packet to penetrate through the firewall. So, it is
necessary to have a firewall which is subjected to follow a good set of rules or
policies.
Packet Filtering:
Packet filtering is the basic purpose of the firewalls in the network. The key theme
of the packet Filtering is that firewall shacks either in the host or in router and
monitors the traffic and flow of the data. The monitoring of traffic in the network is
performed with respect to the policies of the network security (Vadim Zaliva,2008).
Firewall Simulation:
Reproducing the behavior of the firewall is essential, especially in the field of
testing of security and the audit for the security. To reproduce a firewall physically,
one has to carry out the pattern of the security policies which are brought forth by the
existing firewall and should be placed in the circumstance of the environment
provided by the network. Not only this, simulation of the firewall also needs the
construction of the organized model for the firewall and helping it with the files that
consists of the terms and policies (Wool.A,2001).
Policy Optimization is considered to be the most important field of research. Though
the soul rules of tend to be very simple but they need to be correspond with the large

How Did Tony Ahler Betray Anne Frank
Who Betrayed Anne Frank?
On August 4th 1944, The 8 members of the Secret Annex were liberated from their
home trying to hide from the Gestapo for two years. The Franks, Hermann and
Auguste Van Pels with their son, Peter, and Fritz Pfeffer. Anne Frank was a girl
who lived her life during the Holocaust, writing down day for two whole years. The
Gestapo or the (secret nazi police) caught the members after 2 years. But there is still
one question going around today. Who betrayed Anne Frank? Carol Lee Ann believes
that the fatal phone call must have been Martin Quiper, Tony Ahlers, Lana Hartog
and Wilhelm Van Maren. Researchers and her better stop searching because it s Tony
Ahlers.
A lot of people at that time thought that Ahlers was a Dangerous person. People
have reasons to say that he is in fact a dangerous person. Everybody knew that he
had betrayed dozens of people. How did people know though? Tony Ahlers family
hated him and told everyone everything about him and what he s done. Another
reason people thought he was a dangerous person was that he was part of the
D.N.P. (Dutch Nazi Party) making it clear why he is a dangerous person at all cost.
He also hated Jews, a known betrayer. He also called Otto Frank. ... Show more

While Otto wrote that meaning everything in that letter, was Tony Ahlers really a
nice guy? Tony hated Jews, he s always hated Jews. That might be the reason why
he called Otto Frank, Otto Jew Frank. With him hating Jews, he was also a Jew
hunter, catching any Jew that he saw. If he saw a Jew he would turn them in,
basically separating them from their family and then killing them by either shooting,
gassing, starvation, or sickness. He hated Otto frank because they never had a good
relationship. First off, he was a jew. Second, they never had a good relationship.
Calling Otto a Jew just isn t enough. But what went really over the line was most

Critical Analysis Of Agunpakhi
Agunpakhi, published in April 2008 is the first full fledged novel written by Hassan
Ajizul Haque. He was born in1939 in West Bengal and just after the completion of
his school studies, his family had to leave India for East Bengal to avoid any
insidious after effect of the partition. Atin Bandyapadhaya and Sunanda Sikdar both
left East Bengalfor West Bengalbut Ajizul Haque was one, who left West Bengal for
East Bengal. Ordinarily, the critics tend to take it as altogether a feminist novel, but
an in depth study may bring out the truth that it is a tale of metamorphosis or a total
transformation of a humanself into a metaphorical phoenix, born out of the fire of
riot. It s a tale of a woman, who struggles within and ultimately is purified. She
becomes bold and decisive to denounce the so called geographical concepts of
boundaries which break the human hearts and yield unimaginable destitution and
suffering. It raises some basic questions of humanism and shows ways to bimukti
(liberation) of the human soul from all conflicts and ignorance. Agunpakhi is no
simple woman, but a part of a greater human civilization where each individual is
given importance according to his or her own choice. Accordingly, there are no
direct actions of violence shown in the text because violence, as its own, has no
power at all. The Indian concept of humanism believes in non violence which is the
best way to... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
The colloquial Bangla, ordinarily used by the Muslim communities in West Bengal,
is used as the language of the novel. There is very little intervention of the author of
the novel. Agunpakhi is the narrator of the text. Apparently it is a partition story, but
some issues of humanism are the main focus of the novel. There is no complexity in
the narration because the narration bears the smooth and spontaneous flow of a heart
of a simple, rural
The United Automobile Workers ( Uaw )
The United Automobile Workers (UAW) is a labor union that represents workers
in North America. It has the employer s welfare in mind in the manner of a health
insurance plan, improved working conditions, better working hours, and higher
wages. The UAW has received a great deal of criticism over the years for being
responsible for the death of the auto industry in America. With its influential history
and the issues members have faced over the course of the years, an analysis can be
made of the way the group performs and the media attention that the group has
generated. The UAW believes in social justice for its workers and providing quality
automobile products to the public while creating success for its members, company
investors and clients.
The UAW has had an extensive history in America for the 80 years. It was founded
on May 1935 in Detroit Michigan under the American Federation of Labor until the
AFL suspended the union thus enabling the UAW to form a rival federation of unions
called the Congress of Industrial Organizations (CIO). It infamously formed a sit
down strike compiled of 22 delegates in 1935, at General Motors in Flint Michigan.
Proving successful at GM plant, it later addressed other companies such as Chrysler
and Ford, later gaining recognition of the UAW as an appointee. When America
went to war with Japan in 1942, the UAW voted to make a no strike pledge to not
impede war effort. Subsequently the UAW became the first union to hold a Women s
Roald Dahl Research Paper
Roald Dahl is one of the most popular authors of children s books. He wrote Charlie
and the Chocolate Factory, Matilda, Fantastic Mr. Fox and the Giant Peach along
with many others. Mr. Dahl had a difficult childhood as his father and older sister
died when he was three. His mother raised him and his sisters. He liked to read
adventure stories as a kid and his mom would tell him all sorts of fantasy stories. He
kept a diary as a child and hid it at the top of a tree so his sisters couldn t get to it. His
parents were Norwegian and he was named after a famous Norwegian explorer,
Roald Amundsen. When he was at home he spoke Norwegian, but he could speak
English and Swahili as well. His teachers didn t think he was very good at writing
Big Data Belongs In A Warehouse Not A Silo
BIG DATA BELONGS 14
Big Data Belongs in a Warehouse not a Silo
In 2012, it was estimated, that human beings were generating around 2.5 exabytes
of data every day and that number is likely even greater today (McAfee
Brynjolfsson, 2012). Twitter processes on average about 5,700 tweets per second
(Twitter Inc, 2013). All of this data is stored in numerous ranging traditional database
tables and spreadsheets to SMS text messages, PDF files, HTML web pages and
more. While the value in capturing and analyzing this data is clear, the solution is
not. Traditional data warehouse technologies were not designed for this volume,
velocity and variety of data, which is collectively referred to as big data.
Some people believe that the answer to challenges posed by big data lie in a
relatively new group of non relational data storage and management products
known collectively as NoSQL. However, NoSQL system development is different
from traditional data warehouse development in that it is application driven. This
has led some pundits to postulate that NoSQL represents a new paradigm in data
warehouse design, where highly specialized data silos will replace the traditionally
integrated data warehouse. Therefore it is reasonable to ask, should NoSQL be used
to build big data warehouses? If yes, then should integration be discarded in favor of
autonomous, application driven data silos?
This paper will answer the above questions and review several technologies available
for building big
Compare And Contrast Benzodiazepines And Barbiturates
Treatments given to those affected with anxiety are mostly combinations of
medications and psychotherapy, as well as natural resources. The medications often
prescribed are to help with the physical and psychological issues, some work with
the chemicals in the brain, and some work with the muscle tension in the body that is
caused by the fight or flight reactions. A group of medicines called anxiolytics, or
better known as tranquilizers are given to those who suffer from anxiety. The
medications prescribed often do their job, but it may take some time to find the
proper medication and dosage to fit the individual s needs. The two different kinds of
anxiolytics given out to patients are called benzodiazepines or barbiturates.

One with anxiety can live a long happy life with proper treatment and a great
support system. Anxiety disorder is a long term condition that may be a lifelong
problem and individuals who are affected frequently find their symptoms
resurfacing or getting worse during stressful times. There is some new research on
the rise in the United States i which studies show that anxiety may be able to be
decreased or turned due to something called Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation
(TMS). TMS involves sending magnetic impulses to the brain through a cap that is
worn on the head of the patient. What TMS does is it changes the electrical activity
in the brain in areas in which are too active and responsible for constant worry. This
type of brain stimulation study has been reported to be effective in helping those
who suffer from severe depression and anxiety disorders. During the study, 70 percent
of the individuals said that the feeling of anxiety and depression were drastically
reduced. (Mulholland,
Conflict In Cloudstreet
In the iconic Australian text, Cloudstreet, author Tim Winton portrays two vastly
differing and struggling families; the Lambs and the Pickles, in the barren land of
post war Perth forced, against their will, to live under the same roof at number 1
Cloud Street. Although each of the characters has diverging personalities,
perspectives and issues throughout the text, they are more alike than it may seem at
a surface level. Every one of the characters all struggle with their own personal
adversities, but each one of them also seem to be fleeing from these issues rather than
tackling them head on. Whether knowing or unknowing, each of Cloudstreet s
characters are all interconnected, walking the same corridor time makes for us . With

carrier for the journey means that each of the characters share an important aspect to

they all live under similar conditions and circumstances. Resulting from this, the
characters also share many of the same experiences, meaning there is another

Harvard Business School 9 694 065 Rev. March 17, 1995 Medical Products
Company At the beginning of their three day meeting in March 1990, Mr. Roberto
Hausman, the president of the Disposable Devices Sector of the Medical Products
Company (MPC), welcomed the group assembled around the conference table.
This promises to be a very productive meeting. A window of opportunity has opened
up for us, and it appears that we finally have a chance to resolve, once and for all,
some of the issues our European organization has been struggling with over at least
the last six years. The recent acceleration in the projected growth rate for our

MPC s International Organization MPC was a major supplier of diagnostics
systems and disposable medical devices to health care institutions such as
hospitals, physician s offices, clinical laboratories, and pharmacies. In 1990 the
combined sales of its two product sectors, Disposable and Diagnostics, were
slightly over $2 billion (Exhibit 1 provides a summary of financial information).
After a decade of rapid growth, MPC s sales outside the United States now
approached 40% of the total, two thirds of which took place in Europe. Professor
Robert H. Hayes prepared this case as the basis for class discussion rather than to
illustrate either effective or ineffective handling of an administrative situation.

The Cannery Row is like a domino, if one member drops than the rest are affected
by it. Cannery Row was written by John Steinbeck. He was one of the finest authors
during 1900s. His stories mostly take place during the Great Depression in Monterey,
California. He wrote about migrant workers and people lifestyle during the Great
Depression. Even though he was a fictional author, he kept his books close to reality
and connected to the current event. This story is identical to a domino because
Cannery Row use to be a happy and beautiful town but after Macks and his friends

Mack and his friends decided to give a surprising party. When they were preparing

chaos caused the boys to fight with them and fight with them which led to Doc s

Process And Analysis Essay.pdf

  • 1. Process And Analysis Essay Writing a Process and Analysis Essay can be a challenging task that requires a careful balance of analytical thinking and effective communication. The difficulty lies in the dual nature of the essay, where you not only have to explain a process step by step but also analyze it critically. This type of essay demands clarity, precision, and a deep understanding of the subject matter. To start with, one must thoroughly research and understand the chosen process. Whether it's a scientific experiment, a cooking recipe, or a complex technical procedure, a solid grasp of the details is crucial. You need to break down the process into manageable steps, ensuring that each one is described with clarity and coherence. Additionally, the analysis part adds another layer of complexity. It requires the writer to go beyond mere description and delve into the reasons behind each step, the significance of the process, and its broader implications. This involves critical thinking and the ability to articulate your insights in a logical and convincing manner. Organizing the essay is another challenge. You need to decide on a clear and coherent structure that guides the reader through the process while integrating your analysis seamlessly. The transitions between steps and the analysis should be smooth to ensure the essay flows well. Moreover, finding the right balance between the technical details of the process and the analytical discussion is crucial. Too much emphasis on either aspect can make the essay imbalanced and less effective. Striking the right tone and maintaining a consistent level of detail throughout the essay is a skill that takes practice to master. In conclusion, writing a Process and Analysis Essay is no easy feat. It demands a combination of research, analytical thinking, and effective communication. However, with careful planning, attention to detail, and practice, one can develop the skills necessary to tackle this challenging task successfully. If you find yourself struggling or short on time, there are resources available that can assist you. • 2. Characters Of A Dog In The Golden Compass, By Philip Pullman Three years ago, my family adopted a dog. I ending up being the one who was most reluctant to making the final decision and still was even after he had entered our family. I was the one who thought of all the negatives for we don t need a dog incorporated into our busy lives. For the first few weeks I did not like this dog, and the dog new it. Over time, I started to relate and bond with this dog. I saw how he was different, he did not act like a normal dog of his breed, different from the rest. I find the same thing in myself in my family, not like the others, but were both of us are still included and loved. Now, the dog that I didn t want and I are closer than any of my other family members are with him. In the novel The Golden Compass, the author Philip Pullmandevelops a similar type of relationship for each of his characters called daemons. These companions reflect a certain person s identity, soul, and changes in feeling through their different forms, usually as animals. I am being considered for Mr. Pullman s next novel and he has asked me to develop daemons of my own for the next book in his series. After a few days of thinking I have decided on three animals that would be a great representation of me in daemon form, an owl, a lemur, and a butterfly. Throughout my academic career I have tended to be a good student who got excellent in elementary school and straight A s in middle school. So what better daemon to have than owl to represent this side of me. I tend to have the ability to understand concepts and make them concrete easily when explained complete and thoroughly. This form of myself not only comes during school work but any time that I have to be analytical. One place that I have to show my thinking is on the tennis court, a sport that I play year round. Tennis is very much a mindgame and at my higher level of play, I am forced to compete more and more strategically while also maintaining my consistent fundamental skills. This means observing what your opponents weakness is and applying it to the match so swing it into your favor. Placement, direction, speed, spin, are all things that need to be considered during every point. My owl is not only limited to its analytical side but its

• 4. Nature vs. Nurture Shown in Family Addiction Consider the following scenario: John and his mother are both alcoholics. John has been exposed to his mother s inappropriate relationship with alcohol since before he was born. In the age old debate of nature vs. nurture, some would say it was merely natural for John to follow his mother s path, a la the apple does not fall far from the tree his addiction was inherited. Others would argue that John s childhood experiences and home environment led him on the road to addiction. Many might question whether John would have fared better if he had been raised elsewhere. While John may have been a victim of circumstance or fate, a completely different angle can be considered. Perhaps John s alcoholism is a genetic result a result that was influenced by his unfortunate environmental factors. In other words, John inherited his nature via his nurture. The positions surrounding the explanation of John s outcome have been debated for centuries by ordinary people, philosophers, geneticists and psychologists. With recent advancements, a second genome has been recognized and established as the epigenome, which is directly influenced by the outside environment (Francis). While extreme positions still exist within the nature vs. nurture debate, most scientists now agree that a combination of the two determines one s outcome; with the burgeoning field of epigenetics, however, the ability to overcome one s genes, to some extent, ends the debate and offers hope that can be viewed as American
  • 5. The Importance Of Internment In John Okada s No-No Boy Ichiro Yamada, in John Okada s No No Boy, plays a major role in defining American ness in the novel. From the very start of the book, readers may note that the rest of society indefinitely identifies Ichiro as Japanese, due to his unique appearance compared to the white majority of America and his refusal to join the military during Japanese internment. While Ichiro was interned, the government required a Loyalty Questionnaire to be administered to all Japanese interned in the camps. Two major questions determined, in Ichiro s eyes, either acceptance or unacceptance into American society: one being the will to serve in the army whenever asked and swearing allegiance to the United States and forswearing allegiance to the Emperor of Japan ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... The gradual decrease of Japanese pride is also emphasized with the fact that he sees himself as only half Japanese, since one does not speak and...play and fight and see and hear in America among Americans...without becoming American and loving it (16). He explains this uncertainty about his national identity as the reason behind why he refused to go serve in the army in the first place. Later in the novel, as Ichiro converses with Emi, he considers the possibility that his decision was not out of Japanese nationalism, but due to the societal ideal that one must choose if they are Japanese or American; being both is impossible (84). Subsequently, the allegorical message that he is not masculine enough, which in a way defines American ness in American culture, is portrayed by the beating he receives from Taro s friends. At first, the initial visual image of the scene views the situation as only an attack on Ichiro. However, the second underlying meaning behind this literal attack is portrayed by when There was a sharp and slender youth bent over him with a wide grin and started to slip the knife blade under the leather belt (73). The action of slipping the knife blade under Ichiro s leather belt infers the attempt to castrate him to further emasculate him, which represents that he does not belong to society as both a person of color and as an American man due to refusing to serve in the army. Furthermore, although the story concludes that society

  • 7. Understanding Matrix Structures Module 5 Critical Thinking: Understanding Matrix Structures An organization s capacity for responding effectively to dynamic change derives from a synergistic combination of people, processes, and flexible organizational structures (Gibson, Ivancevich, Donnelly, Konopaske, 2009). The flexibility of an organization s structure depends on the relationships that determine organizational workflow, authority and communication (Covin, Slevin, Schultz, 1994). As an example, this paper describes a matrix structure, offers recommendations for its use, and discusses the advantages and disadvantages of a matrix relative to the need for organizational flexibility and responsiveness. The Matrix Structure A matrix structure can be thought of as... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... For example, information needed from various functions for completing a project can be exchanged more efficiently when horizontal channels are used. A further advantage of horizontal linkages arises from an increased organizational capability for coping with the high information overload that accompanies change by enabling the sharing of processing resources (Larson Gobeli, 1987). These lateral linkages also increase organizational flexibility and responsiveness by enabling the rapid acquisition and deployment of scarce human and technical resources (Ford Randolph, 1992). For example, the ability to dispatch specialized technical knowledge on demand for resolution of a problem anywhere along the project dimension increases overall technical quality and responsiveness. The very same characteristics that are seen as advantages of a matrix also present numerous disadvantages, which can potentially diminish the level of organizational flexibility and responsiveness to change (Ford Randolph, 1992). The duality of a matrix tends to create ambiguity and conflict in terms of identifying the lines of authority and responsibility for organizational decision making (Larson Gobeli, 1987). In addition, the confusing ambiguity of a dual reporting relationship often forces employees to reconcile conflicting responsibilities and priorities, which, in turn, causes considerable stress, diminished motivation and commitment, and increased resistance to change (Ford Randolph,
  • 8. Essay On Prostate Cancer Elder Care Services and Prostate Cancer The Centers for Disease Control says that prostate cancer is the most common cancer in American men (other than skin cancer). Each year a man ages, his chances of developing prostate cancer increases. The good news is that prostate cancer does not typically lead to further health problems and spreads slowly. In fact, many doctors are now recommending, especially in seniors, that the cancer is monitored (an action known as active surveillance) and not treated unless absolutely necessary, since the side effects of surgery or other treatment options are often far worse than the prostate cancer itself. Sometimes and enlarged prostate is not caused by cancer but by a medical problem called benign prostatic hyperplasia (enlarging of the prostate). There is currently no one set of traits or behaviors that are linked to prostate cancer. The CDC notes, however, that if a man has a father, brother, or son who has had prostate cancer [he] is two to three times more likely to develop the disease himself. A man may suspect he has prostate cancer if he starts to have difficulty urinating and /or cannot fully empty the bladder, experiences frequent nighttime urination, has a burning sensation while urinating or sees blood in the urine, experiences pain the back of the pelvis, or experiences painful ejaculation. These symptoms do not necessarily mean that prostate cancer is present, but a medical check up is certainly warranted, especially if more than one of the symptoms is experienced. The doctor can check for an enlarged prostate through a manual examination of the gland. They will also draw blood to check for abnormal levels of prostate specific antigen, or PSA. If the levels are too high, a biopsy of the prostate may be
  • 9. Scarface Analysis Essay Raj Singh Mrs. Mccormick Film Class 12 February 2012 Scarface Analysis Essay The gangster movie genre is one of the most popular among the modern movies and some of the best film directors have produced some very excellent gangster movies. For my first film analysis, I decided to analyze my favorite gangster movie of all time. The movie that I analyzed is called Scarface and is directed by Brian De Palma. It was released in 1983 and is still a super hit movie today. Let me go through a short summary of the movie. The movie is focused around the life of a man by the name of Tony Montana and depicts his rise to power from a political refugee from Cuba to a drug warlord. In the course of the movie, Tony Montana also ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... Second, I want to cover the cause and effects registered in this movie. A very reoccurring cause and effect in this movie is whenever Scarface gets angry or mad he snorts more and more cocaine. I found this relatively funny because by the end of the movie he is snorting a ton of cocaine that leads up to his demise. Another effect that is shown throughout the movie is Scarface growing in success and reputation. The cause of this is the many successful business deals that he undertakes and engages in. Another effect is that he makes more and more enemies along the way. This is due to his reputation and power rising. Another cause and effect occurs when Scarface has an argument with his wife and yells at her about her not being able to produce any children for him. This later on causes him to fail a mission because he is not able to bring himself to kill children. A major cause and effect in the story occurs when Scarface sees that his best friend is with his sister. At this point Scarface kills his best friend, which causes his sister to go into major depression, and which pushes him to indulge in even more cocaine which leads to disaster. Next, let us discuss the primary causal agent in this film. I believe that the primary causal agent in this film is an ideology and not a person. The story portrays capitalism as a pursuit of happiness for the main character. If I did not analyze this film, I may have not found that capitalism is the cause

  • 14. Conclusion Of Forensic Accounting Maurice E. Peloubet is credited with developing the term forensic accounting in his 1946 essay Forensic Accounting: Its Place in Today s Economy. By the late 1940s, forensic accounting had proven its worth during World War II; however, formalized procedures were not put in place until the 1980s when major academic studies in the field were published (Rasey, 2009). Since the 1980s in some Western countries, particularly in the USA, a new profession in the field of accounting and auditing has emerged. The extent to which varies considerably depending on which facet of the government one considers, but the underlying principles on which the legislative and economic values base themselves on directly conforms with classical liberalism. Although liberalism is a relatively new ideology, most industrialized countries identify with the it s policies and agenda to some degree. The major political parties in the United States differ on the political spectrum, however, they both share values associated with liberalism thought. As European countries, as well as the American Colonies, began the transitional process from agrarian to industrialized societies, they became dependent on one another for goods, thus introducing capitalistic and free market economies. Those classified as proletarians, or working class citizens, noticed that they were slowly being interchanged with machinery, while the upper classes profited by substantial additions to their total wealth. With this prosperity, they began to invest in their respective communities, constructing educational institutions; sparking an integration between the working class and the classes above them (Lal 49). As machinery and the possibility to gain an education became prevalent in industrialized countries, working class citizens decided to homogenize with the new technology or educate

North Korea s negotiation for aid from the U.S. does not come as a surprise for the simple fact that citizens living under the supreme leadership of Kim Jong un live in absolute poverty. With him hating Jews, he was also a Jew hunter, catching any Jew that he saw. If he saw a Jew he would turn them in, basically separating them from their family and then killing them by either shooting, gassing, starvation, or sickness. He hated Otto frank because they never had a good relationship. First off, he was a jew. Second, they never had a good relationship. Calling Otto a Jew just isn t enough. He was born in1939 in West Bengal and just after the completion of his school studies, his family had to leave India for East Bengal to avoid any insidious after effect of the partition. Atin Bandyapadhaya and Sunanda Sikdar both left East Bengalfor West Bengalbut Ajizul Haque was one, who left West Bengal for East Bengal. Ordinarily, the critics tend to take it as altogether a feminist novel, but an in depth study may bring out the truth that it is a tale of metamorphosis or a total transformation of a humanself into a metaphorical phoenix, born out of the fire of riot. It s a tale of a woman, who struggles within and ultimately is purified. She becomes bold and decisive to denounce the so called geographical concepts of boundaries which break the human hearts and yield unimaginable destitution and suffering. It raises some basic questions of humanism and shows ways to bimukti (liberation) of the human soul from all conflicts and ignorance. Agunpakhi is no simple woman, but a part of a greater human civilization where each individual is given importance according to his or her own choice. Accordingly, there are no direct actions of violence shown in the text because violence, as its own, has no power at all. There is no complexity in the narration because the narration bears the smooth and spontaneous flow of a heart of a simple, rural

It has the employer s welfare in mind in the manner of a health insurance plan, improved working conditions, better working hours, and higher wages. The UAW has received a great deal of criticism over the years for being responsible for the death of the auto industry in America. With its influential history and the issues members have faced over the course of the years, an analysis can be made of the way the group performs and the media attention that the group has generated. The UAW believes in social justice for its workers and providing quality automobile products to the public while creating success for its members, company investors and clients. The UAW has had an extensive history in America for the 80 years. It was founded on May 1935 in Detroit Michigan under the American Federation of Labor until the AFL suspended the union thus enabling the UAW to form a rival federation of unions called the Congress of Industrial Organizations (CIO). It infamously formed a sit down strike compiled of 22 delegates in 1935, at General Motors in Flint Michigan. Proving successful at GM plant, it later addressed other companies such as Chrysler and Ford, later gaining recognition of the UAW as an appointee. When America went to war with Japan in 1942, the UAW voted to make a no strike pledge to not impede war effort. Subsequently the UAW became the first union to hold a Women s

Big Data Belongs In A Warehouse Not A Silo BIG DATA BELONGS 14 Big Data Belongs in a Warehouse not a Silo In 2012, it was estimated, that human beings were generating around 2.5 exabytes of data every day and that number is likely even greater today (McAfee Brynjolfsson, 2012). Twitter processes on average about 5,700 tweets per second (Twitter Inc, 2013). All of this data is stored in numerous ranging traditional database tables and spreadsheets to SMS text messages, PDF files, HTML web pages and more. While the value in capturing and analyzing this data is clear, the solution is not. Traditional data warehouse technologies were not designed for this volume, velocity and variety of data, which is collectively referred to as big data. Some people believe that the answer to challenges posed by big data lie in a relatively new group of non relational data storage and management products known collectively as NoSQL. However, NoSQL system development is different from traditional data warehouse development in that it is application driven. This has led some pundits to postulate that NoSQL represents a new paradigm in data warehouse design, where highly specialized data silos will replace the traditionally integrated data warehouse. Therefore it is reasonable to ask, should NoSQL be used to build big data warehouses? If yes, then should integration be discarded in favor of autonomous, application driven data silos? This paper will answer the above questions and review several technologies available for building big

There is some new research on the rise in the United States i which studies show that anxiety may be able to be decreased or turned due to something called Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation (TMS). TMS involves sending magnetic impulses to the brain through a cap that is worn on the head of the patient. What TMS does is it changes the electrical activity in the brain in areas in which are too active and responsible for constant worry. This type of brain stimulation study has been reported to be effective in helping those who suffer from severe depression and anxiety disorders. During the study, 70 percent of the individuals said that the feeling of anxiety and depression were drastically reduced. (Mulholland,
