A lot of people would always look back at their childhood and say, Wow! Those were good times.
To me, it wasn t. I was easy to get picked on as I was chubby and I am unable to speak Bahasa
Indonesia fluently. In my elementary school, I began to get a lot of hatred from my classmates

traumatizing childhood, CY helped me experience a better life with his compassion, diligence,
and creativity. Having the ability to analyze other people just by looking at them is something
unique, most of us cant do it but CY can. CY has this ability and it has become second nature for
him. When I moved to Malaysia, he could tell that I was timid. When he sat next to me, he
began to ask questions about my age, the places I ve been and my impression of Malaysia. At
first, I did not know what to do because usually, no one would go up to me. When he struck a
conversation, I began to mumble and he could tell I was scared. As he realized this, he took me
around the school and I asked him questions such as How is the community here? Are they
friendly? When I asked him these questions, he immediately knew I got bullied frequently. He
began to introduce me to some of his friends and taught me how to socialize. Out of curiosity, I
asked him Why are you helping me? He replied back I know you have been through a rough

Will and Grace may be appealing to the viewer if he/she finds the messages of the show to be
challenging the old cultural belief that being gay is not accepted by most in America s society.
It is the first show to have main characters that are gay that is widely watched and accepted. Will
is portrayed as the opposite of what society may find to be stereotypical of a gay man. Will does
not speak with a lisp, he does not use flashy hand gestures, nor does he even appear to be gay.
Rather, he seems to be an average character on a sitcom. Will also is shown to be a fairly
successful lawyer, a respected job title. Throughout the show, Will is never made fun of for
being gay, nor treated differently because of it. His sexuality is not emphasized and this sends
