Personal Narrative-Grounded In My Voice
At the start of the semester I had become more aware and grounded in my voice. In
my everyday life, I would notice if I was holding my breath. The reason for this was
because over the summer I had to stand up to one of my shut up judges, my dad. The
incident was extremely emotional, and I coped with it through the use of my actor
training; instead of checking out and holding tension, I chose to breathedeeply and
stay grounded. This allowed me to speak up even when I was told to shut up. This
awareness of breath was developed through necessity rather than choice. I had to
be strong. My strength didn t only come from being grounded in my breath, but it
also came using breathe to stay present in the room. The use of breath also allowed
me to go into my body and release the build up of emotions. As a result of these
experiences, my voice was able to drop more consistently to my lower resonator
rather than my typical chest voice.
The new drop in my voice had its own challenges as well. One, of course, was to

like he is taught to do. This is another example of Saul tuning out the injustices
occurring so he can survive. The focus of the scene is strictly on Saul, except when

with humans, even though he moves around them mechanically, like mannequins.
Once the people are undressed, Saul again avoids eye contact as they chaotically
are pushed into the showers . Saul is conditioned to treat them like objects,
triggering the violence to be ignored. When the men and women are in the showers
he mechanically gathers the prisoner s belongings disregarding that they are people
s possessions. He is overlooking the humanity around him and strictly doing his job.
Once that job is done he moves onto the next like he is programmed. The next task
is helping hold the door shut. As Saul and the camera move closer to the door, the

all high school sports for Louisiana, for both males and females and will soon
celebrate its centennial in 2020. The LHSAA finally got its permanent home in Baton
Rouge in 2010 and currently governs 16 different sports with various classifications

The inception of the idea for the formation of the LHSAA occurred in October of
1920: a group of high school principals met in Baton Rouge after deciding that high
school athletics did not have a proper amount of development and regulation. C. A.
Ives initially appointed a committee to draft a constitution for the association and
those members were P.H. Griffith, S. M. Brame, P.C. Rogers, and Grover C.
Koffman. This committee decided that membership within the LHSAA included
approved high schools within the state. Originally, there was only one type of school
classification: Schools with 110 boys or more (Class 1A) and schools with 110 boys

homes, kill innocent lives, and leave people struggling to survive for years to

around the country as people were evacuating and preparing for the storm. People
were warned about 2 days before the storm actually hit. Everyone in New Orleans
was ordered to leave for the NWS predicted that the city would be flooded and

The film graphically brings the horrors of World War II to life and how much it
can impact the people who were a part of it. For example, when Private Caparzo
died, played by Vin Diesel, I started to tear up, because he was one of my favorite

For this concert report, I am going to be focusing on the last piece of the concert,
Beethoven s Symphony no. 5 in C Minor, op. 67. This piece was written in the
classical period. I am choosing this piece to focus on because when I heard it, I felt
that I was being told a story of a war and specifically of a single soldier and his
experience. Beethoven s Symphony no. 5 in C Minor, op. 67 has 4 movements
throughout the piece. The first movement is Allegro con brio, the second Andante
con moto, and the third and fourth are both Allegro. The first movement, Allegro con
Brio, starts the story off in a battle focusing on a single soldier and his fight. The
tempowas quite fast throughout the movement making the idea of a battle taking
place set in. The program has already stated that the piece was in C Minor, but you
can tell that it is by the sense of conflict and pain that is heard throughout the piece.
This first movement has a great variation of dynamics as well. There are long
sections of fortissimo that, to me, sound like the intense fighting, and then there are
sections of piano and mezzo piano that, to me, sound like lulls in the scene where the
soldier notices something very sad right before he is whisked back into the fight. This
sense of a fight scene is also noted with the technical styling of the movement. During
the intense fights the melody is staccato and accented, and during the points that the
soldier can take a breath and look around at the horror unfolding

Although CastleKeep s Low PE portfolio has outperformed the market in the past,
recent performance has not been satisfactory: a cumulative 20.57% gain over the S P

received financial support and the telecommunication companies to everybody else
who is having their browsing data neutralized, we can see how

Hydrogen is the most abundant element in the universe and has been present since

Hydrogen fuel cells are a mechanical device that convert the electrochemical energy
found in a fuel source, like hydrogen, into electrical energy, with the only byproducts
being heat and water (Hoffmann 6). In all fuel cells there are two electrodes, an
anode and a cathode, with an electrolyte, a membrane capable of moving ions, in
between the two (Sorenson 73). During their operation, hydrogen fuel is injected into
the anode side, while oxygen, usually from the air, is pumped to the cathode. The
hydrogen molecule disassociates, and the proton passes through the electrolyte to
