Equipment List
Camera – Canon 700D
The 700D camera allows for easy use, as it has a touchscreen viewing
panel at the back, which can be tilted and swivelled to whatever
angle needed. This will be perfect to get the extreme angled shots I
need to create my desired effects.
What is more, this camera can perform well in low light, however
this option hopefully won’t have to be used as much, as I want
natural lighting on my video to make it feel more realistic. The
camera has mic support, which would make things easier for me to lip
sync the music to the visuals, as I will have higher quality audio
to listen to in editing.
Tripod – Velbon EF–41
This tripod will be used to keep shots steady, however I do not want
it to be used in certain scenes as I want to use the camera hand
held, to allow the audience to connect better with the visuals.
Action Camera - GoProHero 4
Thisaction camerais compact, and will allow me toproduce certainshotsthatthe canon700D will
not.For instanc,it will allow me togeta shotfrom inside the guitar, facingoutwardstowardsthe
strings, whichIbelieve willgive agoodabstract shotI can use
for mydigipak.
Computer – Custom Built
I will be using my own personal computer that is powerful enough to
run the software needed in editing simultaneously (Premiere Pro and
After Effects etc.) It has 2 monitors so the editing and reviewing
of clips make it easier to visualise.
Software
The clips will be editing in the Adobe master collection, including
programs like Premiere Pro and After Effects (and Mocha ae a plugin
for After effects for motion tracking).
SD Card – San Disk 32GB Extreme
This s the SD Card I am using; it will allow me to
store all the footage with ease. It will keep all the
footage in one place, meaning it will be easily
accessed for editing. 60mb/s means it will transfer
the footage onto my computer quickly, making it
quicker to upload into the relevant software.
