2. VIDEO CAMERA
In order to capture the motion picture for our five minute film, we
will be using the Canon HD video camera. or the other option of a
Canon EOS 600D we decided not to use the canon camera as we
felt more comfortable with the canon HD video camera as we had
used it before in another production. Also the canon HD video
camera offers us a 1080p definition which will allow us to boost the
quality of our film .
3. DIGITAL CAMERA
• We will require a digital camera to capture images for our
storyboard and location which will allow us to know where the
location is and what we are meant to film during the production.
We will also need a still camera to take Reece pictures and
pictures for our individual ancillary tasks
4. TRIPOD
• We will require a Tripod throughout the filming stage of our
production as a Tripod will allow the camera person to achieve
steadier shots also as the tripod has many functions as it can
spin all the way round and can be adjusted to high and low
heights, it will allow us to achieve more creative and unique
shots and movements .
5. LAPTOP
• Throughout the course we will be using laptops to do the
majority of the paperwork in our production for example to do
the planning and research, also the editing and the ancillary
tasks. We will also use laptops to do research on our film by
looking at other videos on the same genre and look for sound
that we could use for our five minute film.
6. TAPE
• We will need a tape as a method to store all the footage that we
would have taken during the filming stage of the production. It
will also allow us to transfer the footage taken by the video
camera to a mac, pc or a laptop for the editing process of the
production
7. SD CARD
• We will need a SD card to transfer the pictures that we take
from the camera to the Mac, laptops and the PC. We will require
the SD card throughout most of the production. The SD card will
be able to store a lot of the picture that we will take during the
production
