adverb or sentences.
Adverb of Time
It tells “when” the action
happened?
Example:
The competition started
yesterday.
The flight lasted for 10 hours.
Conjunctive Adverb
It is a type of adverb that
connects two independent
clauses
Usually to show cause-effect,
sequence or contrast-
comparison relationships
Conjunctive Adverb
If conjunctive adverb is used,
the two independent clauses
MUST be separated using a
semi-colon
