This document discusses contributor personality development. It begins by defining what it means to engage deeply in a subject or work. It then contrasts the mindsets of contributors versus non-contributors. Contributors involve themselves deeply in their work, are fully committed to seeing projects through to completion, and seek high quality outcomes with a positive attitude. Examples are given of Oscar Pistorius, Dr. Suresh Advani, and Marlee Matlin who have all achieved great success despite facing disabilities, demonstrating deep engagement, commitment, and positive attitudes.
This ppt is about Chapter 9 : Engage Deeply of Subject Contributor's Personality Development.
I am Kazim Marfatiya ,Me and my team has prepared The Presentation by guidance of Our Proff. D.J. Bhayani with Hard work..
My Group members are Dhruv Mahant and Kuldip Jadeja..
We are Students of Government Engineering College, Modasa
In this topic, students engage with the question “who am I?” or on what basis do they define themselves. Is their identity defined by what others think of them (extrinsic self-esteem) or by what they think of themselves (intrinsic self-esteem)? Further, they discover positive identities that lead to intrinsic self-esteem, such as an I-can identity based on one’s capacity and inner strength. This enables them to build confidence and self-esteem.

Reuben Stanton - Design Research Australia 2018Reuben Stanton
Researchers are constantly presented with ethical challenges in their work, but we’re not always well equipped to handle them. How can we avoid thinking of research participants as “resources” to extract from? Once the data are back in organisations, designers face a number of tough choices about how to use the data they’ve obtained – how should you tell someone else’s story? What about someone’s experience should you reduce to a summary? What is lost in that? Reuben will explore these ethical questions (and more!), and will present a practical framework that designers can use to identify the ethical lines in a project, so that they might understand when and why they’re crossing them.

2024.06.01 Introducing a competency framework for languag learning materials ...Sandy Millin
http://sandymillin.wordpress.com/iateflwebinar2024
Published classroom materials form the basis of syllabuses, drive teacher professional development, and have a potentially huge influence on learners, teachers and education systems. All teachers also create their own materials, whether a few sentences on a blackboard, a highly-structured fully-realised online course, or anything in between. Despite this, the knowledge and skills needed to create effective language learning materials are rarely part of teacher training, and are mostly learnt by trial and error.
Knowledge and skills frameworks, generally called competency frameworks, for ELT teachers, trainers and managers have existed for a few years now. However, until I created one for my MA dissertation, there wasn’t one drawing together what we need to know and do to be able to effectively produce language learning materials.
This webinar will introduce you to my framework, highlighting the key competencies I identified from my research. It will also show how anybody involved in language teaching (any language, not just English!), teacher training, managing schools or developing language learning materials can benefit from using the framework.

Operation “Blue Star” is the only event in the history of Independent India where the state went into war with its own people. Even after about 40 years it is not clear if it was culmination of states anger over people of the region, a political game of power or start of dictatorial chapter in the democratic setup.
The people of Punjab felt alienated from main stream due to denial of their just demands during a long democratic struggle since independence. As it happen all over the word, it led to militant struggle with great loss of lives of military, police and civilian personnel. Killing of Indira Gandhi and massacre of innocent Sikhs in Delhi and other India cities was also associated with this movement.
