In the film My Neighbor Totoro, Satsuki and her family are going through a lot of changes to their
lives. One of these changes is that they moved to a new neighborhood be closer to their mother
(who is in the hospital). Everyone in the family deals with this change differently. Satsuki s dad
tries to adjust to being the only parentin the house by spending more time at home with Mei,

describing the movements of the pineal gland and gives the impression that many of these impulses
would be very slight and thus unnoticeable due to the fact that they only occur if the opposite
