Have you ever been intimidated by someone merely by their presence? What is making their

Abstract
The bases of this experiment was to discover the identify of the unknown from three possible
specimens: Klebsiella pneumonia, Escherichia coli, and Enterobacter aerogenes. Utilizaing the T
streak technique, the bacteria was isolated into pure colonies for further study. The Gram Stain
method was used to identity the morhphology of the bacteria such as the shape and whether the
bacteria was Gram positive or Gram negative. Biochemical test were also used to help identify the
unknown bacteria. The biochemical test used was the Triple Sugar Iron Agar, Sulfur Indole
Motility test, Methyl Red test, Voges Proskauer test, Citrate test, Urease test, and the Gelatin test.
After observing the morphology of the bacteria using the Gram Stain method and utilizing all the
possible biochemical test, the bacteria was identified to be Enterobacter aerogenes.

The study published by DeVries and Feldman in 1983, showed that token reinforcement can
increase the rate of sight word acquisition within students with a learning disability in a resource
room setting. The study was comprised of two participants, a nine year old boy with directionality
and perceptual difficulties and an eleven year old boy with auditory figure ground discrimination.
Both participants were two years below grade level in word recognition, had a diagnosis of a
learning disabilityand average intellectual function level, and both were from southwestern USA.
After a baseline of each students sight words recognition, multiple lists of different five unknown
sight words were selected, to use during the intervention. The teacher explained the guidelines
of the token system; if the student could remember a sight word 24 hours after the lesson, the
teacher would get put a star next to the word. Once the student earned 5 stars (one for each
word) they would a sticker on their goal sheet. DeVries and Feldman s study used stickers as
tokens. The children chose a prize of a pre determined list created by a survey they took. The
students could then trade in their stickers for a tangible prize from their prize menu. The prize
menu was derived from a survey the participants took during the baseline. The goal sheets were

Among all the Americans who put their country in front of his or her life, Mr. Benjamin
Anthony Hughes was one of them. He went to high school at Vandalia Butler High School just

Visual Comedy And Physical Comedy
The American audience has always held tightly to the concept of visual media, ever since its
conception ( The History of Motion Pictures, n.d.). In the 1890s, Thomas Edison mesmerized
audiences with simplistic shows two trains crashing, the water flowing over Niagara Falls, a
beachscape. Scenes like this used to draw huge crowds of people in, curious as to how the realm
of a motion picture would move forward ( The History of Motion Pictures, n.d.). Not until the
1900s did filmdirectors begin telling stories with their works. Of those works came the most
classic form of its genre: Physical Comedy. Since the implementation of sound had not been
established until 1927 ( The History of Motion Pictures, n.d.), physical/visual forms of comedy
were all that could be used. In this paper, we will analyze the use of the visual comedic style
through time, as well as its gradual decline in contemporary cinema. It is a common belief that on
October 6, 1927, when Jolson belted out those pioneering songs in The Jazz Singer he was
sounding the death knell of silent filmand with it, visual comedy. (Dutton, 2015). The Jazz Singer
heralded the commercial ascendance of sound films and the decline of the silent film era.
(Wikipedia, 2017). With dialogue on the rise, visual comedy was declining in cinema. Visual or
Silent comedy fell. Many people believe that even though talkies came after silent films, comedy
from the dialogue was a downgraded from the silent or visual comedy.
