1. To aid in the making of the front cover of my magazine I have
gathered feedback from my peers and my lecturer to get opinions
on what I have done well and potential ways to improve.
2.
3. From these notes I have learned that my dominant image, as well as my background, are good and sophisticated which makes
it appear professional and more realistic. Also, people thought that my model was the main focus which is what I aimed for
when creating this. Along with this, people thought that my masthead was well designed and all of the fonts that I have used
were good and suited the magazine.
Some key points that my peers mentioned was that there was not a large amount of content however, as this is my first draft
and not yet finished, I expected this to appear. To improve this I will add more content and try to fill most of the space around
the model. It was also pointed out that I would need to add a barcode and sub-images which I will do once I have added more
text/content. Another point that people made was that the text at the bottom of the page was difficult to read. Ways suggested
to improve this include; changing the colour of the text; making the text bolder and adding a background to the text.

5. The feedback that I received from my lecturer was similar to my peer feedback including; the fact that my dominant image was
of a good quality and suited the genre of my magazine and that my title also suited my genre. Along with this, the fonts that I
used at the bottom of my page suited the genre.
To improve I need to add more magazine conventions including; sell lines, cover lines, essential information and a plug. In
addition, she suggested changing the colour of the font at the bottom of the page so that it is easier to read – I plan on
changing the colour to white. She also suggested that I needed to crop my image so that there was no space in between the
masthead and the model to make it appear more professional. Another way to improve the image is to make sure that there are
no wispy pieces of hair around the model so that it would look neater.
