•  First - Performance of a nation's economy is the
   central source of justice that a regime may claim.
•  Second - Governmental authority used to spread the
   risks associated with capitalist development.
•  Third - State administrators become separated from
   politicians.
•  Fourth - Necessary for nations to utilize the capitalist
   system for further advancement in the international
   economy.
Strengths
•   Promoted "Self-Governance"
•   Induced participation in the International
    Economy
•   Promoted Capitalism
•   Botswana - Successful developmental state
    o   Since the gain of political independence in 1960's
        and 70's
•   Thailand
