playing that sport? I have been an athlete since I was four years old. I have been in
three different sports such as gymnastics, softball and volleyball. With the time

years. I started when I was four years old and as I got older I started competitive

competing at Circle Of Stars. I was competing on floor and just ended my first
tumbling pass and I landed wrong, I sat there on the floor for a couple minutes

rest of the way. I went to the trainer who was at the meet and she said it was just
sprained by looking at it. So my mom took me to the hospital and I got some x rays
and they said it was massive sprain too so they put a small cast on my foot to let
the sprain heal. After I got better I continued to do gymnastics. A couple years
passed and I was still having problems with it so my mom took me to the Orthopedic
and he looked at my x rays. My ankle was actually broken in the growth plate and it
healed wrong so now everytime I bend my ankle it rubs on one of my other bones

As a child, I was beat many times due to what I always believed to be misbehavior.
Although there have been times where my beatings would be due to my
disobedience, it was more than just that. It was primarily due to aggression that my
father carried home from a stressful day. When I was younger, my sisters and I

great man. Martin Luther was born on the 10th of November, 1483 in Eisleben,
Germany. Hans and Margaretha Luder were his parents. In 1501, he had been
enrolled in the University of Erfurt at the age of seventeen. But all of that changed

Class is a social concept created by describing the unequal distribution of wealth,

Picture this: A mother is outside, kicking a soccer ball around with her daughter,
while her son is shooting baskets out of the corner of her eye. Both children start
discussing wanting to become professional, star athletes when they re older,
making a ton of money. Little do they know, this large salary dream will most
likely only become true of one of them. Imagine athletes as medals. Society has
placed women, much like this little girl, at a silver, and men, like the older boy, at
gold. No matter how good the women get or how much progress they make, they are
always held back from achieving the same level as the men, stuck once again at silver.
The definition of sexism is prejudice, stereotyping, or discrimination on the basis of
sex. Sadly, many women face this everyday when trying to succeed as an athlete. An
example of this would be a women getting paid less than a man or getting worse
coaching than he, even when playing the same sport.
Although some movements are being made to try and help this issue, such as Title
IX, stating that no gender should be discluded from any education program or

What is the Good Life Essay A popular saying is live life in the moment. People
believe that by doing this, they will live life to their fullest potential, and this will
lead to the good life. This is a good theory, but it is not actually a good idea to life
live this way. This is shown by both Herodotus, The History the story of Solon and
Croesus, and by the Mike Webster Sports Injury series by Greg Garber. In both of the
texts, the fictional Croesus, and the real life Mike Webster both lived their lives in the
moment, and they actually provide the most significant horrible warnings to show
what is not the good life. By living in the moment, neither of these two actually
thought about the future while they were living their good lives. If they had thought
about the future, and the repercussions that could happen if their way of life was
ended, then they may have been able to avoid the inevitable fall that both of them
faced. Webster and Croesus both lived the good life for a time, and through both of
their stories, we can see that to truly have lived the good life, one must die living it.
