Getting to the National Championship an immense amount of preparation. We had

loopholes that give leeway to police officials who either abuse the authority given to
them or do not represent the ethical standards that they are expected to live up to by
society. Because of the nature of police work, there is a potential for deterioration of
these ethical and moral standards through deviance, misconduct, corruption, and
favoritism. Although these standards are set in place, many police are not held
accountable for their actions and can easily get by with the mistreatment of others
because of their career title. While not every police abuses his or her power, the
increasingly large percentage that do present a problem that must be recognized by

NSAID use / HTN on hemodialysis status post living non related kidney transplant.
An altruistic donor has agreed to provide the allograft. The patient and donor have
completed the necessary testing and the transplant has been scheduled.
Pre surgical evaluation
Mrs. K has been on hemodialysis since Nov 2011 and anuric since 2012. Biopsy
results at the time showed minimal change disease like lesion which was thought to
be related to daily NSAID use for chronic headaches. Her cardiovascular, pulmonary,
immunologic/infectious risk assessments were without significant findings. The
transplant committee reviewed her case and she was considered a candidate for
deceased kidney transplant.
After being placed on the transplant list, an altruistic, unrelated donor offered to
provide a kidney. Screening was completed. ABO compatibility between donor and
recipient was confirmed. T and B cell cross matches were negative.
Given her long term dialysis, anesthesia was consulted for pre operative assessment.
She was determined to be ASA class 3. She had good functional capacity stating she
can climb 3 flights of stairs. In addition to her screening for transplant, anesthesia
discussed the risks, mortality, and morbidity associated with induction of anesthesia.

are used in two different tones. The poet also chooses to use another metaphor that
applies to our hearing sense, voices speak inside us, echoing in the places we have

As humans, we are often faced with tough decisions throughout life. The way in
which we make those decisions are often painful and excruciating. William
Stafford portrays this through his gloomy free verse poem Traveling Through the
Dark. Throughout the poem, Stafford use of dashes give us insight into the mind
of the driver and the relationship of life and death. The form and use of dashes
allows the reader to explore their minds and analyze what they would do in the
driver s situation. Stafford uses form and his placement of dashes to convey the
theme: the toughest decisions are often the most agonizing and challenging.
Traveling Through the Dark is an free verse poem containing four line stanzas and a
couplet to end the poem. The way the poem is structured leaves us with a sense of
incompletion, as the last couplet does follow the pattern of a four line stanza.
Throughout the poem, the lines feel very connected and smooth, however, near the

Punishment
Introduction
The mandatory sentence of two years imprisonment is unconstitutional because it is
cruel and unusual punishment which infringes upon the accused s right not to be
subjected to such treatment. Firstly, it is determined that the mandatory minimum
sentence in this case is grossly disproportionate to the accused s circumstances and
would be reasonably foreseeable that the provision would have the same
overreaching effect on other offenders. Secondly, the provision in question in the
Controlled Drugs and Substances Act is not saved by section 1 of the Charter as it
has failed the prescribed Oakes test. The test gives weight to the law s objective in
comparison to the means of achieving it, which in this case, impaired too heavily on
the right of the accused.

The constitutional right in question reads from section 12 of the Canadian Charter of
Rights and Freedoms which states, everyone has the right not to be subjected to any

is funny to notice though that the Ancient Era and the RenaissanceEra artifacts that

two different times, wood was still used and carved for both artifacts. This was
