Highlights of my activities:
As a part of the required activities for the course EGR9220 Teaching in Higher
Education Practicum at Villanova University, I have had the opportunity to teach a
few sessions for CEE2105 for fall semester 2017, supervised by Dr. David Dinehart.
On Wednesday November 1st, I recorded two lectures to be posted on the
blackboard and viewed by students prior to their in class session on the following
Friday and Monday. I received the PowerPoint slides for those recorded session
from Dr. Dinehart, however, added certain material to them with his consent. In
particular, I added a nine step problem solving procedure to be implemented during
in class sessions, 37 and 38. The total duration of the recorded sessions was about 26
minutes. The first recording was titled Centroids of the composite areas , and the
second recording was titled Centroid of composite areas, lines, and volumes .
On Friday November 3rd, I instructed two in class problem solving sessions from
8:30 AM to 9:20 AM, and from 9:30 AM to 10:20 AM, both on the topic of
centroids of composite areas. From the two in class sessions, the second session
was recorded and posted on the blackboard webpage as well. The problems and
solutions for both sessions were provided by Dr. Dinehart, and per his request, I tried

I attended the What wakes us up: Networked Circadian Clocks in The Brain talk
by Dr. Erik Herzog from Washington University. The talk was extremely
interesting and helped me better understand the circadian system s in human s
behavior. The first fact that I think is extremely interesting is how our daily
rhythm is driven by a small part of the brain called suprachiasmatic nucleus. Our
brains are well designed and perfectly localized that each part of the brain
responsible for only specific function. However, since everything in the brain is
connected, the shift in one part can greatly affect the others. I have also learned that
neuroscience research is a broad field that involved interdisciplinarity from multiple

In Introduction to Counseling, students were given copies of the ACA Code of
Ethics and Ethical Standards for School Counselors. The ACA code of Ethics was
updated in 2014 with significant changes. One of the improvements was to the
preface of the code; including how human development, diversity and
multiculturalism, social justice, the integrity of the counselor child relationship, and

This is a passage recounted in a series of events by the editor. In this passage,
Werther received the inconceivable news that a farmhand, a man he identified with,
had committed a horrific act. The farmhand, a man desperately in love with the
widow he once worked for, had murdered the new farmhand as a selfish act of
devotion to the widow. Werther, as recounted by the editor torn from his resentment,
experiences an overwhelming sympathy for the unhappy man (Passage II). He tried

Through his pleading and sorrows, he knows such an action cannot be forgiven and

if time management is a concern, and the nurse is able to build trust and rapport with

When I was ten years old, I was told I would need to undergo plastic surgery. I was
terrified and immediately burst into tears. I didn t become upset because I was
scared, but rather I assumed that undergoing plastic surgery meant the doctor was
