of Information Technology and Communication of Prince George s County
government. The OITC deals with any technology related issues in the county. The
Geographic Information System Department assists all the other county agencies and
some private companies in their need of Geographic services. The department is
relatively small compared to the work load. In the previous years there used to be ...
It facilitates the tasks when I cannot find any accurate information about a place that
I need to map. I would input the address in Pictometry and it gives me the location
and the picture of the area. That helps me in finding whether the place is still existing
or not.
Another aspect I enjoyed was the fact that I was welcomed in the department as an
expert in the field. Before my internship, some friends warned me that I would
mostly like be doing office clerk tasks, such as making copies, typing word
documents, or even getting coffee for the entire office. But I was doing dealing
with real information that would be actually used or needed by someone. Mr.
Patrick once called me in a meeting two weeks after I started. He wanted me to take
over a project from the county Department of Public Works, so he arranged a
meeting with the head of the snowplowing route administration. He needed to have
some maps corrected and updated. The maps included snowplowing routes by areas.
The major problems in the map that he made were the streets labels; they were all

overlapping at the intersections, and the textures used to symbolize some roads
where not adequate. I also gave him some tips and additional suggestions that I can
include to improve the maps quality.
The interactions that I have with my supervisors and colleagues are very positive.

preceded or succeeded that of the violin. However, iconographic and documentary
evidence indicate that the violin, viola, and cello most likely evolved together as a
family of instruments very early in the sixteenth century and almost certainly in
northern Italy.
Part writing for the viola in chamber music has changed dramatically over time. By
the end of the seventeenth century, while the violin had remained popular in chamber
music, the viola was very much neglected. It was not until the end of the eighteenth ...
The end of the eighteenth century marked a change in the treatment of the viola in
chamber music. The change came about partly because a basic concept of late
eighteenth century chamber music was that a single player played each part (thus
setting chamber music apart from the orchestra where each string part . . . was
played by several players). [2] A greater equality of part writing can be observed in
the mature chamber music, especially string quartets, of Mozart and Beethoven. In
Mozart s last string quartet (K. 590, 1790), the part writing is equalized, and solos
are given to the viola, with a considerable degree of virtuosity demanded of the

It sounds like a poet is expressing himself to a crowd, which you can hear in the
background with noises of laughter or agreement to the poet s words. At 20:21
minutes in the CD the crowd starts clapping in awe of the poem and the track
ends. Hasta Siempre, Comandante (Song for Che Guevara) is track six on the
CD, it starts off with a slow tempo and soft voices in the background, almost as if
you were outside, around a group of older men. It then accelerates to a type of tone

with my topic was very difficult, because not a lot of studies have been conducted

and values of future lawyers. The study was conducted with 52 students from the

Many DID patients have received these forms of abuse up to twice a week for 50
months out of the year (Piper and Merskey 593). The trauma of a young person s
life will lead to the next phase of forming DID which is repression. Through
repression, these children will hide their traumatizing events and will become
amnesic for them. They set them into a separate part of there mind as hopes to
forget and eliminate these memories from existence. Since it is not possible for
one to eliminate such memories from their heads, they repress them. They are able
to accomplish this to a large extent. People under DID have a tendency to continue

MPD (Multiple Personality Disorder) are commonly diagnosed as a form of
schizophrenia because these people tend to have a loss of connection within the

the severity and the frequency of traumas to a child will have great impact on the
depth of DID that a person will suffer.

Uninformed voting is a large problem in America. I believe the Get Out the Vote
movement is a powerful driving force behind this issue. They encourage people,
through pressure and patriotic guilt, to vote in elections they otherwise were not
going to and are likely uninformed about. They use tactics, some legal, some not, to
achieve their goals of higher turnout in elections.
One tactic used by a small fringe branch of the Get Out the Vote movement is
bribing of the underprivileged for their vote, promising a ride to the polls and a meal

believe uninformed voting is a problem in America, this is a form of voter fraud
and is illegal. I understand not all homeless and underprivileged are uninformed

decision on the ballet as a result. This illegal activity however, is far from a large
percentage of the uninformed voter pool.
