Abortion Essay
Writing an essay on the topic of abortion can be a challenging endeavor, as it involves
navigating through a complex and emotionally charged subject. The difficulty lies not only in
presenting a well-researched and balanced argument but also in addressing the deeply ingrained
beliefs and values that individuals hold regarding this sensitive issue.
One of the challenges is the polarized nature of opinions surrounding abortion. People often have
strong convictions on either side of the debate, making it essential for the writer to approach the
topic with sensitivity and respect for diverse perspectives. Striking a balance between presenting
factual information, ethical considerations, and acknowledging the emotional aspects of the topic
is no easy feat.
Researching the historical, legal, and ethical dimensions of abortion requires a comprehensive
understanding of the subject matter. Additionally, staying updated on the latest developments,
medical advancements, and legal changes adds another layer of complexity. The writer must sift
through a vast array of sources, ranging from academic articles and medical journals to legal
documents and personal narratives, to provide a thorough and nuanced analysis.
Crafting a coherent and persuasive argument while maintaining objectivity is crucial in essay
writing, especially on contentious topics like abortion. It demands a careful choice of language,
tone, and structure to ensure the essay engages readers without alienating them based on their
beliefs.
Moreover, addressing the ethical and moral aspects of abortion involves delving into
philosophical and religious considerations, adding yet another layer of complexity. Navigating
these intricate elements requires a thoughtful and nuanced approach, acknowledging the diverse
perspectives without necessarily endorsing one over the other.
In conclusion, writing an essay on the topic of abortion necessitates a delicate balance between
presenting well-researched information, navigating emotional nuances, and respecting diverse
viewpoints. It is an intellectual challenge that demands a deep understanding of the subject
matter and a nuanced approach to engage readers effectively.

Important Issues of Leadership in William Shakespeare s...
Important Issues of Leadership in William Shakespeare s Richard II Richard II
was one of Shakespeare s political works depicting the rise and fall of King
Richard II. Richard became king of England as a boy at 10 years of age, although
his advisors made most of the political decisions of the kingdom until he matured.
During this maturation period, Richard was more interested in learning about
aesthetic things in life rather than things more responsible to the monarch. He had
very little experience and talent in the areas of military tactics and his decisions
relating to the monarch seemed arbitrary. These traits that Richard displayed were
not befitting to a king and a man who was suppose to lead. Rather than look out for

In addition to banishment, Henry was also unfairly taken of his families wealth,
land, and title, from which he was the rightful heir. Henry contrasted Richard in
many ways, in that he was honest, and very practical. Furthermore, Henry was
very reluctant to assume the role of future King, eventually accepting after urging
and support from the other nobles. While Richard left England to oversee the
progress of his foreign war, Henry and the other nobles began plans to take Richard
s kingdom. This was a crucial mistake on Richard s part. By not taking care of
issues on the domestic front, Richard s followers and soldiers grew increasingly
weary of his ability to lead and be an effective king, eventually siding with Henry.
Henry proceeded to capture Bristol Castle, a stronghold of Richard s and began
his plans on being ordained future king. Upon Richard s return to England, he
learns of the events that had transpired in his absence. At first his own arrogance
allows him to believe that since it is his God given right to rule as King, he will be
protected. But then just as quickly, Richard s arrogance turns into despair upon the
realization that Henry has gained support of the nobles and the people of England.
Henry and Richard finally meet at Ramparts Castle leading to the climax of the play.
Henry demands retribution for the allocation of his families possessions and
Suzanne Lynch s Portrait In Georgia
When referring to the race of the body described in Portrait in Georgia, Suzanne
Lynch wrote positioning this woman as neither black nor white, within a world so
polarized by color, makes her a destabilizing force within the power dynamics of
the culture... If the poem strips this Georgia woman of her wholeness and reduces
her to a series of fragments, it also accounts for that effect by placing her in a social
setting of violent white dominance. In summary, Lynch s response is attempting to
convey the subject of Jean Toomer s poem Portrait in Georgia is purposely not given
a race, and might be a black, mixed race, or raceless woman to make the reader
acknowledge his pigeonholing: Just in case the reader...feels an uncontrollable

Her features remind him of her direct role in racism and the physical harm that could
come his way. The speaker begins by describing her hair as braided chestnut,
/ coiled like a lyncher s rope (Toomer 1 2). Lynch concludes the subject s braids
symbolize the indelibly intertwined lives of black and whites, braided in a common
southern experience. I consider the opposite, concluding these two lines represent
the racial divide between the speaker and the subject of the poem, rather than a
union. The woman s hair is braided like a lyncher s rope and the color of her hair,
chestnut, describes a type of tree of which the rope might hang if the speaker
interacted with the white woman. Similarly, and not mentioned by Lynch, the
woman s eyes are then figuratively compared to the burning of a body during a
lynching, evident through Toomer s use of fagots, or a bundle of sticks intended to
be lit (Toomer 3). The speaker cannot admire even her most mundane features, like
hair or eyes, because it reminds him of the racial division between the two. Her
features compared to a tree, rope, and fire in that back to back manner further imply
the representation of the speaker s feasible gruesome
Leadership And Leadership Development Programs
Leadership development is defined as formal and informal training and professional
development programs designed for all management and executive level employees
to assist in developing the required leadership skills and styles to deal with a variety
of situations (Human Resources, 2011). A lack of effective leadershipdevelopment
programs usually comes from organizations thinking that senior managers need
continuous training and development. However, great leadership development is
essential to all employees and managers in an organization. Executive mangers are
important to the success of any business but, building leadership skills on all
levels can develop a culture of employees ready to take on leadership roles at any
time. In my organization, we develop and hone leadership skills by focusing on
team intelligence, managing up and down, succession planning, and performance
problem solving. The building and leading of teams impacts the outcome of
organizational objective and can support the emergence of leaders. It is a
tremendous benefit for teams to understand and acknowledge the strengths and
challenges of each members, as well as a mission and roadmap with agreed upon
boundaries. Leaders that have high levels of emotional intelligence (EQ) are aware
their team s intelligence and know how to use EQ to sharpen leadership skills among
their team. Emotional intelligence (EQ) is defined as a person s self awareness, self
confidence, self control, commitment and
The Importance Of Intercultural Relationship
Intercultural Essay
This intercultural relationship took place this year. it was with one of my co
workers. We have a friendship relationship and clicked pretty well together and
rather fast. When we work together we are very happy to see each other, as this is
the only time we really see each other. Outside of work, we are both busy. This
friendship is great, and is very balanced. We don t always agree with each other and
talk it out, but we also agree and feels good. With Kate our intercultural relationship
changed within stages over time, developed feelings and situations through the
relationship, and key concepts.
Kate and I right away had some differences and were aware of them rather quickly.
The first stage which is racial/cultural awareness. We mostly agree, but they re
times were we don t look eye to eye on something. It s very different, as we do to
better ourselves and learn from each other. The second stage which is, coping stage
which develops proactive and reactive acts to achieve past their challenges. This
was a bad stage for our intercultural relationship was when I was doing proactive
acts. It made me push her away, as it was an ongoing process. I just wanted to
understand why we didn t hangout outside of work. I still don t know to this day,
but we dropped it. Our reactive strategies which only occur once the behavior
occurs, is good as we overcome these well. The third stage which is identity
emergence is taking charge of the images of themselves
The Relationship between Academic Obstacles and
Facilitators
University students make up a large population in most countries and may be the
most important individual s part of a society; as they constitute of future
professionals and degree obtainers. The life of a student is very different to other
age groups and may prove to be extremely stressful and pressurised as the
importance to having a profession, especially in South Africa, is heightened because
of financial pressure and recessions. It has been argued and researched that the well
being of a studentis important for their academic performance, therefore their health
needs to be taken into context and maintained to ensure peak performance. The
purpose of this essay is to assess the relationship between academic obstacles and
facilitators and how they hinder or promote academic performance, as well as how it
may affect the well being of the student.
When students are going through a stressful period in their studies, such as exam
time or when assignments are due, they often feel exhausted and sometimes unable to
manage their time properly in order to get their work done on time, or simply not
being able to cope with the nature of the work. It is argued that students who are
experiencing emotional exhaustion will perform poorly in their studies (Salanova,
Schaufeli, Martinez Breso, 2008). This is because students who feel exhausted will
experience feelings of demotivation, irritability, detachment and cynicism towards
their work. While those who have positive feelings

LA Zoot Suit Riots
June 1943 this is the date that the LA Zoot Suit Riots occurred and it s possibly
known as one of the biggest historical events that happened in Los Angeles. In short
The LA Zoot Suit Riots were 200 estimated of American Sailors beating up
anybody who wore a zoot suit, but they were mainly targeting Pachucos. Pachucos
were basically Chicanos who acted like street thugs, and when Chicanos and other
minorities had gotten beaten up by the sailors this has caused an uproar to Chicanos
mainly because it was discrimination towards them because of their color and style
of clothing. This event occurred because at the time Zoot Suits had become widely
popular with white people, but as time went on, other minorities started to like the
Zoot Suits also this has included Pachucos as it fits their clothing style. The outcome
of this event had influenced Latino Civil rights movement and Mexican American
Communities to fight for their rights and that is why the significance of this event
is minorities are being overlooked by whites of how they all seem street thugs and
criminals judging by their clothes and color even though not all minorities were like
that. A first primary example as to how chickens were overlooked during the LA
Zoot SuitRiots was how policemen turned a blind eye to the sailors. The
responsibility of a police officer is to help citizens no matter of their color and stop
the criminal s actions. Although in this case the policeman didn t help the citizens

The Space Race Continuity And Change
Walking, that s the original mode of transportation. The only things that could be
moved are the things that can be carried and the furthest part of the world was the
furthest part a human could walk to. Then came sailboats and wheels and the
world was drastically changed forever. Everything changed. No one could walk on
water so sailboats were the first things used to travel the rest of the world. There
was more land and more water than anyone man could walk to. Sailboats helped
with that. When someone arrives in those places how is he or she supposed to carry
everything? That is when the wheel became so important. People had carriages and
wagons and animals to pull those things which are on wheels. The entire world
changed as transportation... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
During the late 50s and early 60s the United States was falling behind in this race,
but it wasn t over. The next task was to be able to send groups of people into space
together on one ship. This initiated the Voskhod and Gemini programs, Voskhod in
the Soviet Union and Gemini in the United States. In the Soviets case there was
not much changed from the Vostok craft except for the fact that they could fit 2 or
3 people on the craft. The Soviet Union only did two manned flights with the
Voskhod program and left it; one flight in 64 and one in 65. The United States had
completely changed from their original Mercury program though. It had a new
design and the new design retained the conical, nickel alloy walls and fiberglass
ablative heat shield of Mercury, it also made use of new features such as
translations control thrusters to alter orbit, hydrogen/oxygen fuel cells to generate
electricity, a radar system to allow rendezvous with other craft, and avionics that
could withstand depressurization (Universe Today). These missions whether one
manned or not all helped paved the way to the final lap in the race to space. The
United States and the Soviet Union each wanted to be the first to put a man on the
moon; thus the start of the Soyuz and Apollo programs. For the UNITED States
and NASA the Apollo missions started in 1961, but the first flight was in 1967
after they concluded with all the Gemini missions. The first ever Apollo flight
ended in tragedy with an electrical fire starting and the capsule was destroyed
killing the three people on board of the spacecraft. Many unmanned trials went about
until finally the second manned trial by NASA in December 1968 with the Apollo 8
flight. Unlike Apollo 1, Apollo 8 was a huge

How Catapults Were Used In War
History of Catapults: How Catapults Were Used in War
The first documented use of a mechanical arrow, firing catapult was in 399 B.C. by
Diodorus Siculus. They were popular in Europe in the middle ages. Catapults were
essential during this time period because of war. The first catapults were built to
increase the range of power of a crossbow. Manufacture and use of catapults
increased popularity of fortified castle and city wall rose greatly. Many different
objects were used to launch in the catapults, but missiles were most common.
Sometimes missiles were launched directly into walls to cause maximum damage to
the actual fort or it was launched over the wall to cause maximum damage to the
soldiers inside the fort. All of the catapults used back in the war were different, but
there were three main types, which are Ballista, Mangonel, and Trebuchet. ... Show

Ballista is basically a giant crossbow. It is made with two wooden arms with the
middle cut out and attached to a rope. The rope was made out of human hair or
animal sinew. It was created to amplify the range and power of the crossbow. This
crossbow catapult had great accuracy, but lacked the strength the other designs have.
Springald was similar to the Ballista design. It was just a much smaller version. It
was used for places for much tighter confines such as castles and towers as an
antipersonnel weapon. The Magonel is the most common catapult. It comes from
the Latin word manganon meaning engine of war. It was invented in 400 B.C by
the Romans. This catapult was extremely strong and accurate. It was capable of
firing up to 1,300 ft. based on the angle it was placed. This catapult was easy to build
and travel because wheels were added to the
William Shakespeare s The Tempest

Prospero. Throughout the play, he establishes himself as a multi dimensional
character. Prospero s interaction with other characters in the play is vital in

part of his personality when he interacts with Caliban, Ariel, and Ferdinand, all of
whom are ploys in his master plan to regain his crown. Prosperoassimilates his

Prospero s interaction with Caliban may at first be seen as cruel and inhumane.
Neverthless, Prospero does not denounce Caliban without reason and even teaches
Caliban a helpful skill, the skill of language. Prospero s relationship with Caliban
shows the readers the cruel side of Prospero while simultaneously depicting his
reasonable side. This interaction is similar to the interaction between colonists
and the New World natives. Colonists would arrive on new and unknown lands and
befriend the natives to gain knowledge about the new terrain. But, once the
colonists had no use of the indigenous people, they were enslaved and used to the
advantage of the mother country. Another character that Prospero has an
authoritative relationship with is the spirit of Ariel. Nevertheless, Prospero s
relationship with Ariel is less brutal than his relationship with Caliban. Prospero
also commands Ariel to do things for him that will make it easier for him to regain
his crown, however, Prospero gives Ariel an incentive for complying with his
rules. Throughout the play, Prospero promises Ariel that after he gets his dukedom
back, Ariel will be set free to do as he pleases on the island. While Prospero does
abide by his promise in the end, he strings Ariel along for a long time before actually
following through with his word. Prospero keeps adding another task

American Culture In The Namesake, By Jhumpa Lahiri
Culture is not just about race, family background, and inheritance. It is bigger than
that. Characters and actor s choice are significant to present this. Characters used
in the book and movie relates. When I was reading the book, I had an idea of how
Ashima, Gogol, Ashoke looks. Most of those ideas were true. I thought Gogol
would be better looking and darker shade skin. Ashima is exactly what I thought
she would look like. Ashoke is shown as this perfect husband, dad a provider. A lot
of Gogol s character is understood as it foreshadows when Gogol was six months
old and during his Rice Ceremony, Gogol had to choose between a dollar, a pen, and
dirt. Each represents a different profession in the future. As it suggests to the future,
Gogol doesn t choose none of them and cries. We see the same thing when he is an
adult, he chooses to embrace the culturehe grew up in, American Culture even thought
he struggled to respect both cultures that are polar opposites of each other.
The novel The Namesake written by Jhumpa Lahiri writes about the struggle and
hardships of a Bengali couple who immigrate to the US from India to create a
lifestyle outside of everything they have known all their lives. The story begins as
Ashoke marries Ashima and brings her to the Massachusetts. Their first child s name
is Gogol, which they didn t intend on naming initially but because of different
mistakes, Gogol has officially become his name. This book/film gave a pleasant

Theme Of Balzac And The Little Chinese Seamstress
Love is the one of the most powerful feelings one can experience. The other feeling
is fear. When a situation combines the both of them, which will prevail? The passage
chosen comes from Dai Sijie s Balzac and the Little Chinese Seamstress where the
Narrator experiences this struggle after being attacked and returning to an empty
home. Only a fantasy about the Little Seamstress could remedy the gloom which
hangs over him. The passageillustrates that the Narrator has a deep longing for the
Little Seamstress but his respectful attitude towards her due to an underlying fear;
which reveals his utter obedience.
The assault on the Narrator took a heavy toll on his mind, sending him into
depression. The Narrator ends up in an all time low and in a state of emptiness.
The Narrator describes his house as lonely and bleak with the rancid smell of
desolation in the air. The gloomy diction reveals the feeling of isolation engulfing
the Narrator as an expansive nothingness is felt inside of his small house. In an
attempt to cure himself, the Narrator attempted to read his favourite novel but it was
impossible to concentrate on. This selection of detail explains that nothing real, even
if he deeply cared about it, would remedy the displeasure he was feeling. The
oppressive smell of desolation would not resolve as a result the Narrator was flooded
with rage once again. This ominous and powerful diction depicts the overwhelming
nature of the events surrounding the Narrator
The Kite Runner Conflict Essay
Summary The novel The Kite Runner, written by Khaled Hosseini, is the story of
a young, upper class boy by the name of Amir and his friend, a lower class boy
named Hassan. While Amir is a Pashtun and a Sunni Muslim, Hassan is a Hazara
and a Shi a muslim, which causes the main conflict between the two. Amir and
Hassan learn more and more about their social status, as well as their personal
friendships and problems as they grow up in Afghanistan. Analysis of the Majour
Themes and Conflicts The main conflict happens between the four main
characters, as well as between warring countries. Amir and Hassan have probably
the most upfront conflict between their characters. In the very start, the two boys
grew up together and were raised as if they were brothers. Yet, despite their
closeness, there is always a back thought in Amir s mind that constantly whispers
to him that he is a Pashtun, an upper class member of society, and Hassan is a
Hazara, a slave and lower class member of society. But he s not my friend! I almost
blurted. He s my servant! Had I really thought that? Of course I hadn t. I hadn t. I
treated Hassan well, just like a friend, better even, more like a brother (41) . The
same conflict happens between Amir and Ali, Hassan s father. Amir is Pashtun and,
although Ali is an elder and a dear friend of Amir s father, Ali is nothing more than a
Hazara and a slave. The next conflict appears between the two warring countries of
Afghanistan and Russia. Later on, in

what was underneath. In accordance with the US Environmental Protection Agency

asbestos that may have been damaged by the renovations as well. The reasoning for
the presence of asbestos underneath the carpets of CLPMS is because of the fire

Although surgery for mesothelioma is rare, lung cancer surgery can give us a
ballpark estimate for surgery: around $40,000 ( Costs of Chemotherapy Other

treatment by chemicals. Depending on the drugs used, the stage at which
chemotherapy is begun, and other factors, chemotherapy can cost up to $30,000,
cheaper than surgery, but still expensive. The third common treatment is using
radiation. The final expense is variable based on number of treatments, radiation

In 1066 AD the King of England died without an heir. Three lords of different
countries then tried to secure the English throne for themselves. The first to do so
was Harold Godwineson. Harold was geographically the closest and therefore first
to take the throne. Harald Hardrada king of Norway then invaded England with the
intent of claiming the throne, but was repelled by Harold Godwineson s Anglo
Saxon soldiors. Next William, Duke of Normandy invaded England and defeated

Harold Godwineson then sent his men off to fight William s Norman.
This is one of the major reasons why William won the Battle of Hastings. William s
soldiers had been waiting and feasting across the English Channel so were well
prepared for the battle while Harold s men were tired, battle weary and many had
died during the battle with Harald Hardrada. Evidence of this is shown in the Bayeux
Tapestry showing William s soldiers feasting and preparing for the battle while they
waited for the wind to change.
During and before the battle there were also several crucial developments to help
William. Harold Godwineson forced his army to travel so fast that he left many
soldiers behind including most of his archers. During the battle Harold was killed by
an arrow in the eye. This significantly disheartened the Anglo Saxon soldiers. Harold
s death is depicted in the Bayeux Tapestry.
William also made many skilled tactical decisions that helped him win the battle.
Before the battle William had made sure he had a large variety of troops to fight
the Anglo Saxons. At the start of the battle William positioned his men well so they
could easily move about. When William s soldiers were unable to penetrate the
Anglo Saxon s shield wall he faked a retreat. The Anglo Saxons broke ranks and
chased after William s troops. The Norman army then turned around and were able to
kill the Anglo Saxons that had
Lysistrata, By Aristophanes
In the play Lysistrata, Aristophanes imagines the women of Greece fighting for
peace with a very elemental, and essentially feminine, weapon: sexual blackmail. An
Athenian woman named Lysistrata plans to convince women to abstain from sex in
order to end the war between the men of Greece. Lysistrata brings the Spartan and
Theban women into the plan as well. Her idea was to not just starve the Athenian
men of sex, but men on all sides of the conflict. She hoped that this would bring them
to the negotiating table to find a solution for peace between their city states.
Lysistrata is a womanof strong convictions who, being tired of the war, its cost, and
the continued absence of men from the home because of their presence at the front
lines;
Crickets Hypothesis
The null hypothesis of this experiment was that there would be no significant
difference in preference by crickets between environment with cinnamon and without
cinnamon. The result showed that as the time increase the crickets movement actual
become more stable. There is an equal net force of movement from one side of the
chamber to another. To test the significance of these findings, a Chi Square analysis
was performed. According to the Chi Square statistic, the null hypothesisshould be
accepted because the Chi square value (4.50) is less than the critical value (11.07),
thus making the cinnamon having very little effect on the crickets movement. Even
the control group yields similar result, that there is no difference of the sides that
The Importance Of Life In The Thirteen Colonies
Life in the colonies is not all that is made up to be. There are accurate articles but
also unfortunately others that are completely off. The people in England do not get
an accurate picture; they are thousands of miles away so their only source of
information is the newspapers. The latter tend to be one sided furthermore the British
people can not cross reference the information they receive and therefore they cannot
tell if the articles are accurate.
This is an account of what life is truly like in the Colonies.
Education

New England s schools are the best in all the Thirteen Colonies. Neither the Middle

Paul Krugman s New Trade Theory
Paul Krugman is well known for his New Trade Theory, International Trade Theory,
and for his weekly columns in The New York Times. Krugman has written more than
twenty books and textbooks explaining economics for a general audience. Krugman
is a Professor of Economics and International Affairs at Woodrow Wilson School of
Public and International Affairs at Princeton University and Centenary Professor at
London School of Economics. What is critical in Krugman s approach is he united
two fields, which traditionally are separated trade and geography. He has found a
way to explain some issues in economic geography by using the trade theory. He
won a The Sveriges Riksbank Prize in Economic Science in Memory of Alfred
Nobel 2008 for his New Trade Theory and New Economic Geography. By
examining the effects of economies of scale on consumers goods and services he is
able to explain the patterns of international tradeand the geographic concentration of
wealth.
Krugman vouches that the economy isn t like a family that earns or spends a certain
amount of money there s no relation between the two. Your spending is my income,
and my spending is your income . If the people stop spending money, there s a
depressed economy, although some people would be spending money, it wouldn t be
enough to save the economy causing unemployment to rise. When there s a depressed
economy the government isn t in competition with the private sector so the

Jenny:I think maybe I would have typed up my notes and my process without doing a
numbered outline. Then, have kids go through and pick, say we wanted five most
important steps, and grouped them in more of the thought process than just writing it
down. For simplicity, they saw the model and it went quickly, so I don t know if that
would have been better or not.
Interviewer:Just a thought. What do you think Sara?
Sara:I agree with that, mostly because they were getting really stuck on that we
could only have this amount of steps. When I was trying to ask them to step back
and look at the big picture and the whole text, they weren t really getting that either.
Particularly in my fifth hour, because we already had enough steps. Going through,
when I think back to the modeling process that I did before with them, I had the role
cards, and I used that to guide which of these strategies am I using.
I almost was to start with commonly used writing strategies and have them identify
which ones I am using, as I am working on this outline. I think we have to go back
even further with them to talk about those writing strategies, because we haven t
really ever talked about anything besides outlining before. Like, in terms of a

4.The market for textbooks is constantly changing. As the demand for certain
features in textbooks increases each supplier in the supply chain s role will change
and evolve. Authors need to be aware of the needs of the universities; books need
to be concise yet full of information. Authors continuously need to update data and
information in all textbooks. Text editors need to keep up with the authors and the
ever changing data and information provided to students in textbooks; they need
to be able to adapt to other forms of text as well such as e books. As technology
evolves as does the need for better graphics in textbooks. Many students are visual
learners and graphic designers need to be aware of this. We have certainly come a
long way in terms of graphics in textbooks and the need will only keep increasing.
Printing companies also need to be kept in the know, and possibly develop new
technology to make it easier to predict the demand for each textbook and even the
possibility of e books being the dominant form of text. As the industry grows and
changes as will the roles of each supplier and everyone needs to look toward the
future and realize the changes that are happening.

Rich Mans Toys Review
Genesis Gaming launched nearly a decade ago, but in that time it hasn t really been
able to dent the online slots market. The developer has pretty much spent the best
part of 10 years floating under the radar, but considering how quickly the production

market position. Focusing on delivering something a little more highbrow, the latest
game from Genesis Gaming comes in the form of Rich Mans Toys.

the popping champagne icon, with it working the exact same way as it does in other

All effort, little reward
Rich Mans Toys has another drawback with its controls, as the game is cumbersome

Did Trojan War Begin Over The Love Of Women
Trojan war Laura Gibbons
For my historical investigation I am looking to the Trojan War. My main focus
question is did the Trojan war really begin over the love of a women.
The Trojan War is known as a significant event in Greek mythology. According to
Homer the Trojan War was a battle at Troybetween Paris of Troy and the Spartans
because Paris stole Helen from her husband Menelaus who was the king Sparta.
The battle raged on for 10 years until finally the Spartans were victorious due to the
Trojan horse battle strategy causing the fall of Troy. Evidence of this battle comes
throughout Homers works of Greek literature lliad and odyssey . But were
Homers stories the actual reason of one of history s most talked about wars? Was
his story s a recount of a different battle? Was a woman really the reason to start a

of where Troy was believed to be and have all found some sort of evidence as so why,
the battle of Troy could not have started all because Helen was

The gender wage gap has been a problem for centuries. In the 1700s, But since the
1980s, it hasn t shifted much (Brown and Patten). Individuals like former President
Obama have attempted to minimize the pay gap between men and women by passing
pieces of legislation, but his attempts have done little to shift the wage gap. The
community of American citizens needs to unite as a whole in order to stop the gender

In the article of Institutional Bias Partially Explains the Gender Wage Gap , it
states, The research organization Catalyst, for example, found that among MBA
[master of business administration] grads on a traditional career track, women are
even more likely than men to seek out skill building experiences and training
opportunities and to make their achievements visible by asking for feedback and
promotions. Women also reported similar rates of negotiating as men: 47 percent
of women and 52 percent of men had asked for a higher salary during the hiring
process, and 14 percent of women and 15 percent of men had asked for a higher
position. No gap there . The studies conducted shows that women are more likely to
seek higher positions and salary than men. So one can deduce that there is no
ambition gap between women and men who work in the same place. There is bias,
even if one is afraid to call it out ( Institutional Bias ).

Thanksgiving Persuasive Techniques
This recipe can be found on a webpage, which means that the sides are filled with
advertisements for other great dishes to cook. Most of the suggestions are holiday
themed, since Thanksgiving has just passed, and cranberry sauce is associated with
Thanksgiving in America. The structure is simple, looking like something out of a
Western cookbook. On the top, there is a depiction of what the cranberrysauce should
look like, the amount of time it takes to prepare and cook the sauce, and how many
people it serves. Underneath that, there is a sentence exclaiming that the dish is
delicious and the last recipe you will ever try. Next, they list the ingredients, and
give the instructions. This is easily followed, and simple for this ritualized dish.
The techniques in this recipe are extremely simple, requiring only a pot, a heat
source, preferably a stove, and a cooling area. Water and sugar are brought to a boil.

they are cooled to form a gelatinized dish. Although it takes three hours to make, the

northeastern United States, which is why they are important during the Thanksgiving

the foods served are supposed to represent what was served during the first

present during the first Thanksgiving. However, I highly doubt that they were
sweetened by sugar, which was brought to this region through trade. It is probable
that this tradition came to be through time and legend, since Thanksgiving did not

Left Neglected By Lisa Genova
Left Neglected by Lisa Genova is a novel based on a woman who gets into a car
accident, suffers from a stroke, and ends up developing left neglect. Left neglect,
otherwise known as Hemispatial neglect, develops after a stroke or brain damage
to the right side of the brain. Left neglect is a neuropsychological condition that
causes an attention deficit to the awareness of the left side of space. A person with
left neglect has difficulty processing and perceiving stimuli on the left side of their
body. It can affect a person s visual perception where they are unable to see things
or interpret them on the left side of them. Typically a person with left neglect
forgets that their left side exists. Someone who suffers from left neglect may not
be able to dress themselves on their left side; they may not eat the food on the left
side of their plate, or be able to read a left side of a book. It can cause issues with
their mobility where they are unaware of their left extremities, which can lead to
problems in walking or any task using bilateral coordination or skills. Sarah, the
main character in the novel, had a very busy, fulfilling life before her accident. She
worked as a human resources consultant at a very large company. This job required
her to work very long, busy hours. Her career could be considered a spillover, where
her job affects and interrupts parts of her social and family life also. She is always
doing something in her office, while having to rush around to make

Margaret Sanger Nursing Model
The history of nursing is fundamentally the foundation of nursing today. Historical
nursing leaders have paved the way for our nurses in the 21st century by their views,
dedication, and achievements. Not only have these leaders paved the way for nursing
as a profession, but they have also instilled historical changes in health care and in
our society overall. The current definition of nursing today is the protection,
promotion, and optimization of health and abilities, prevention of illness and injury,
alleviation of suffering through the diagnosis and treatment of human response,
advocacy in the care of individuals, families, communities, and populations (ANA,
2010c). A historical nursing leader is one that has carved this definition of nursing
through their actions, values, and beliefs. Also, a historical nursing figure is an
individual that has influenced and continues to influence societal trends in the
nursing profession today by having developed a foundation that still has an impact on
us. The focus of nursing practice is care provided to assist individuals, families,
communities, and populations (Claros and Dean, 2013), which is exactly what
Margaret Sangers focused on in her works. Margaret is the definition of nursing and
is an inspirational model and leader to female nurses in addition to females in
general through her works thus is the reason we choose her as our focal point for
our essay. Margaret Sanger was a nurseworking in New York with immigrant
The Reflection Of Living With Jesus Christ In The World
While living and serving in a Chiang Mai prison in Thailand, I met with a radical
Muslim man named, Ali, who was serving a life sentence in the Thai prison because,
he murdered a Thai woman. As growing up in Pakistan, it is very challenging to love
those who persecute and hate you. Initially, he didn t want to do anything with
Christianity. But after meeting him for at least six months, with difficult
conversations, he decided to accept JesusChrist as his personal savior. From that
point on, I had to leave all my hard feelings behind and accept him as a part of the
body of Christ and take care of him. Honestly, I had to listen him cry and suffer in the
Thai prison. But in the midst of all that suffering, I had to stand right beside him,
fight for his basic rights in the Thai judicial system, communicate with the Pakistani
embassy in Bangkok, Thailand, and wrap my arms around him.
Today, we will learn together from the passage 1 Corinthians 12:12 27 in which
Paul uses a metaphor of a body to describe diversity and unity in the body of Christ
and its functions and how do we need to take care of those who are facing extreme
persecution.

Recessionary Bargaining Power
The balance of power between labor and management seems to shift from one side the
table to the other. When the economy is booming and unemployment rates are low,
the balance of power toward labor. When the economy is in recession and
unemployment rates are high, the balance of power shifts toward management.
Owners want to see their company succeed by earning higher and higher profits,
top level executives want to command higher and higher salaries, and shareholders
seek ever higher returns on their investments. Caught in the middle of the battle
between labor and management is the HR manager who represents the concerns of
labor to management and they convey the positions of management to labor. The
purpose of this paper is to discuss how a recession affects a union s ability to strike
and win concessions from corporate management, describe what the organizational
climate will be like once the strike is over and employees come back to work, and
explain what HR actions are needed to improve workplace relations after a strike.

for celebrity type. As I sasid before I didn t care. I really miss that place. Looking
back to that night now, I remember seeing him but I never really noticed him. He
was usually in the back as well, just watching people. After my usual night, I began
walking home, seeing the same car as before I sped up my walk. When I got home, I
didnt even change before bed. I just layed on my bed drifting off to sleep. He placed
his hand over my mouth and I immediately woke up. I was terrified, I looked over
at the window as it was wide open. I looked up at him, he seemed worried and
scared. At that moment, I knew it was the guy from the club. This was the man on the
T.V they called a killer. He yelled, Don t scream! All I could do was roll my eyes. I
guess he liked the way I showed no fear because, he picked me up with me facing his
back and climbed out the window. I thought he was a killer like the news said, but I
wasn t afraid. He put me in the passenger side of the car I saw driving by my house.
As we drove off, I looked back at my house saying goodbye one last time. Honestly, I
was kind of glad he took me away. I hated being there. I hated everyone at school. I

Child Trafficking
Priceless Commodity: An Essay on
Child Trafficking
Child Trafficking is a form of human trafficking. It is defined as the recruitment,
transfer and harbouring of children, for purposes of exploitation (Child Trafficking,
www.dictionary.com). The trafficking of children is the third largest global consumer
market, especially in areas of Asia, Latin America, the Caribbean, the Middle East and
North Africa, with an estimated 1.2 million children being trafficked annually.
(UN.GIFT). Since poverty has been in existence, so has child trafficking. In the
nineteenth century, the moral challenge was slavery. (Nicholas D. Kristof, Half The
Sky). The practice of child trafficking is a very close relative to slavery. The gap

Traffickers do not think about what they are doing. They are in the business for the
money, and without tough laws, this horrendous practice will continue to grow.
The final cause is the different social factors that affect each individual country
and family. In many countries, there is a young life expectancy, which often leaves
children without a parent. This causes a child to step up and begin to take care of
their family, often playing a leading role. Children in this position do feel a sense
of obligation to provide in many ways for their families, and many a time this
means they must begin to contribute financially. There are not many options for
minors to earn a living in some areas of the world, so trafficking is an option they
may often find themselves involved in. Many of these reasons, that cause people to
find themselves entangled in the world of trafficking can be fixed with the help of
awareness and aid. Many people are sadly unaware of the affairs associated with
child trafficking,, and that needs to be changed, if there is ever going to be an
improvement in the lives of these unfortunate families and children.
There are different methods of trafficking, including three of the most popular and
widespread. There is a high demand for trafficked children especially girls, by
tourists in some countries. In India, there are brothels which hold women and young
girls, with nearly 36

Abortion Essay

  • 1. Abortion Essay Writing an essay on the topic of abortion can be a challenging endeavor, as it involves navigating through a complex and emotionally charged subject. The difficulty lies not only in presenting a well-researched and balanced argument but also in addressing the deeply ingrained beliefs and values that individuals hold regarding this sensitive issue. One of the challenges is the polarized nature of opinions surrounding abortion. People often have strong convictions on either side of the debate, making it essential for the writer to approach the topic with sensitivity and respect for diverse perspectives. Striking a balance between presenting factual information, ethical considerations, and acknowledging the emotional aspects of the topic is no easy feat. Researching the historical, legal, and ethical dimensions of abortion requires a comprehensive understanding of the subject matter. Additionally, staying updated on the latest developments, medical advancements, and legal changes adds another layer of complexity. The writer must sift through a vast array of sources, ranging from academic articles and medical journals to legal documents and personal narratives, to provide a thorough and nuanced analysis. Crafting a coherent and persuasive argument while maintaining objectivity is crucial in essay writing, especially on contentious topics like abortion. It demands a careful choice of language, tone, and structure to ensure the essay engages readers without alienating them based on their beliefs. Moreover, addressing the ethical and moral aspects of abortion involves delving into philosophical and religious considerations, adding yet another layer of complexity. Navigating these intricate elements requires a thoughtful and nuanced approach, acknowledging the diverse perspectives without necessarily endorsing one over the other. In conclusion, writing an essay on the topic of abortion necessitates a delicate balance between presenting well-researched information, navigating emotional nuances, and respecting diverse viewpoints. It is an intellectual challenge that demands a deep understanding of the subject matter and a nuanced approach to engage readers effectively. • 2. Important Issues of Leadership in William Shakespeare s... Important Issues of Leadership in William Shakespeare s Richard II Richard II was one of Shakespeare s political works depicting the rise and fall of King Richard II. Richard became king of England as a boy at 10 years of age, although his advisors made most of the political decisions of the kingdom until he matured. During this maturation period, Richard was more interested in learning about aesthetic things in life rather than things more responsible to the monarch. He had very little experience and talent in the areas of military tactics and his decisions relating to the monarch seemed arbitrary. These traits that Richard displayed were not befitting to a king and a man who was suppose to lead. Rather than look out for the... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... In addition to banishment, Henry was also unfairly taken of his families wealth, land, and title, from which he was the rightful heir. Henry contrasted Richard in many ways, in that he was honest, and very practical. Furthermore, Henry was very reluctant to assume the role of future King, eventually accepting after urging and support from the other nobles. While Richard left England to oversee the progress of his foreign war, Henry and the other nobles began plans to take Richard s kingdom. This was a crucial mistake on Richard s part. By not taking care of issues on the domestic front, Richard s followers and soldiers grew increasingly weary of his ability to lead and be an effective king, eventually siding with Henry. Henry proceeded to capture Bristol Castle, a stronghold of Richard s and began his plans on being ordained future king. Upon Richard s return to England, he learns of the events that had transpired in his absence. At first his own arrogance allows him to believe that since it is his God given right to rule as King, he will be protected. But then just as quickly, Richard s arrogance turns into despair upon the realization that Henry has gained support of the nobles and the people of England. Henry and Richard finally meet at Ramparts Castle leading to the climax of the play. Henry demands retribution for the allocation of his families possessions and
  • 3. Suzanne Lynch s Portrait In Georgia When referring to the race of the body described in Portrait in Georgia, Suzanne Lynch wrote positioning this woman as neither black nor white, within a world so polarized by color, makes her a destabilizing force within the power dynamics of the culture... If the poem strips this Georgia woman of her wholeness and reduces her to a series of fragments, it also accounts for that effect by placing her in a social setting of violent white dominance. In summary, Lynch s response is attempting to convey the subject of Jean Toomer s poem Portrait in Georgia is purposely not given a race, and might be a black, mixed race, or raceless woman to make the reader acknowledge his pigeonholing: Just in case the reader...feels an uncontrollable inclination... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... Her features remind him of her direct role in racism and the physical harm that could come his way. The speaker begins by describing her hair as braided chestnut, / coiled like a lyncher s rope (Toomer 1 2). Lynch concludes the subject s braids symbolize the indelibly intertwined lives of black and whites, braided in a common southern experience. I consider the opposite, concluding these two lines represent the racial divide between the speaker and the subject of the poem, rather than a union. The woman s hair is braided like a lyncher s rope and the color of her hair, chestnut, describes a type of tree of which the rope might hang if the speaker interacted with the white woman. Similarly, and not mentioned by Lynch, the woman s eyes are then figuratively compared to the burning of a body during a lynching, evident through Toomer s use of fagots, or a bundle of sticks intended to be lit (Toomer 3). The speaker cannot admire even her most mundane features, like hair or eyes, because it reminds him of the racial division between the two. Her features compared to a tree, rope, and fire in that back to back manner further imply the representation of the speaker s feasible gruesome
  • 4. Leadership And Leadership Development Programs Leadership development is defined as formal and informal training and professional development programs designed for all management and executive level employees to assist in developing the required leadership skills and styles to deal with a variety of situations (Human Resources, 2011). A lack of effective leadershipdevelopment programs usually comes from organizations thinking that senior managers need continuous training and development. However, great leadership development is essential to all employees and managers in an organization. Executive mangers are important to the success of any business but, building leadership skills on all levels can develop a culture of employees ready to take on leadership roles at any time. In my organization, we develop and hone leadership skills by focusing on team intelligence, managing up and down, succession planning, and performance problem solving. The building and leading of teams impacts the outcome of organizational objective and can support the emergence of leaders. It is a tremendous benefit for teams to understand and acknowledge the strengths and challenges of each members, as well as a mission and roadmap with agreed upon boundaries. Leaders that have high levels of emotional intelligence (EQ) are aware their team s intelligence and know how to use EQ to sharpen leadership skills among their team. Emotional intelligence (EQ) is defined as a person s self awareness, self confidence, self control, commitment and
  • 5. The Importance Of Intercultural Relationship Intercultural Essay This intercultural relationship took place this year. it was with one of my co workers. We have a friendship relationship and clicked pretty well together and rather fast. When we work together we are very happy to see each other, as this is the only time we really see each other. Outside of work, we are both busy. This friendship is great, and is very balanced. We don t always agree with each other and talk it out, but we also agree and feels good. With Kate our intercultural relationship changed within stages over time, developed feelings and situations through the relationship, and key concepts. Kate and I right away had some differences and were aware of them rather quickly. The first stage which is racial/cultural awareness. We mostly agree, but they re times were we don t look eye to eye on something. It s very different, as we do to better ourselves and learn from each other. The second stage which is, coping stage which develops proactive and reactive acts to achieve past their challenges. This was a bad stage for our intercultural relationship was when I was doing proactive acts. It made me push her away, as it was an ongoing process. I just wanted to understand why we didn t hangout outside of work. I still don t know to this day, but we dropped it. Our reactive strategies which only occur once the behavior occurs, is good as we overcome these well. The third stage which is identity emergence is taking charge of the images of themselves
  • 6. The Relationship between Academic Obstacles and Facilitators University students make up a large population in most countries and may be the most important individual s part of a society; as they constitute of future professionals and degree obtainers. The life of a student is very different to other age groups and may prove to be extremely stressful and pressurised as the importance to having a profession, especially in South Africa, is heightened because of financial pressure and recessions. It has been argued and researched that the well being of a studentis important for their academic performance, therefore their health needs to be taken into context and maintained to ensure peak performance. The purpose of this essay is to assess the relationship between academic obstacles and facilitators and how they hinder or promote academic performance, as well as how it may affect the well being of the student. When students are going through a stressful period in their studies, such as exam time or when assignments are due, they often feel exhausted and sometimes unable to manage their time properly in order to get their work done on time, or simply not being able to cope with the nature of the work. It is argued that students who are experiencing emotional exhaustion will perform poorly in their studies (Salanova, Schaufeli, Martinez Breso, 2008). This is because students who feel exhausted will experience feelings of demotivation, irritability, detachment and cynicism towards their work. While those who have positive feelings

  • 9. LA Zoot Suit Riots June 1943 this is the date that the LA Zoot Suit Riots occurred and it s possibly known as one of the biggest historical events that happened in Los Angeles. In short The LA Zoot Suit Riots were 200 estimated of American Sailors beating up anybody who wore a zoot suit, but they were mainly targeting Pachucos. Pachucos were basically Chicanos who acted like street thugs, and when Chicanos and other minorities had gotten beaten up by the sailors this has caused an uproar to Chicanos mainly because it was discrimination towards them because of their color and style of clothing. This event occurred because at the time Zoot Suits had become widely popular with white people, but as time went on, other minorities started to like the Zoot Suits also this has included Pachucos as it fits their clothing style. The outcome of this event had influenced Latino Civil rights movement and Mexican American Communities to fight for their rights and that is why the significance of this event is minorities are being overlooked by whites of how they all seem street thugs and criminals judging by their clothes and color even though not all minorities were like that. A first primary example as to how chickens were overlooked during the LA Zoot SuitRiots was how policemen turned a blind eye to the sailors. The responsibility of a police officer is to help citizens no matter of their color and stop the criminal s actions. Although in this case the policeman didn t help the citizens that they
  • 10. The Space Race Continuity And Change Walking, that s the original mode of transportation. The only things that could be moved are the things that can be carried and the furthest part of the world was the furthest part a human could walk to. Then came sailboats and wheels and the world was drastically changed forever. Everything changed. No one could walk on water so sailboats were the first things used to travel the rest of the world. There was more land and more water than anyone man could walk to. Sailboats helped with that. When someone arrives in those places how is he or she supposed to carry everything? That is when the wheel became so important. People had carriages and wagons and animals to pull those things which are on wheels. The entire world changed as transportation... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... During the late 50s and early 60s the United States was falling behind in this race, but it wasn t over. The next task was to be able to send groups of people into space together on one ship. This initiated the Voskhod and Gemini programs, Voskhod in the Soviet Union and Gemini in the United States. In the Soviets case there was not much changed from the Vostok craft except for the fact that they could fit 2 or 3 people on the craft. The Soviet Union only did two manned flights with the Voskhod program and left it; one flight in 64 and one in 65. The United States had completely changed from their original Mercury program though. It had a new design and the new design retained the conical, nickel alloy walls and fiberglass ablative heat shield of Mercury, it also made use of new features such as translations control thrusters to alter orbit, hydrogen/oxygen fuel cells to generate electricity, a radar system to allow rendezvous with other craft, and avionics that could withstand depressurization (Universe Today). These missions whether one manned or not all helped paved the way to the final lap in the race to space. The United States and the Soviet Union each wanted to be the first to put a man on the moon; thus the start of the Soyuz and Apollo programs. For the UNITED States and NASA the Apollo missions started in 1961, but the first flight was in 1967 after they concluded with all the Gemini missions. The first ever Apollo flight ended in tragedy with an electrical fire starting and the capsule was destroyed killing the three people on board of the spacecraft. The passage chosen comes from Dai Sijie s Balzac and the Little Chinese Seamstress where the Narrator experiences this struggle after being attacked and returning to an empty home. Only a fantasy about the Little Seamstress could remedy the gloom which hangs over him. The passageillustrates that the Narrator has a deep longing for the Little Seamstress but his respectful attitude towards her due to an underlying fear; which reveals his utter obedience. The assault on the Narrator took a heavy toll on his mind, sending him into depression. The Narrator ends up in an all time low and in a state of emptiness. The Narrator describes his house as lonely and bleak with the rancid smell of desolation in the air. The gloomy diction reveals the feeling of isolation engulfing the Narrator as an expansive nothingness is felt inside of his small house. William s soldiers had been waiting and feasting across the English Channel so were well prepared for the battle while Harold s men were tired, battle weary and many had died during the battle with Harald Hardrada. Evidence of this is shown in the Bayeux Tapestry showing William s soldiers feasting and preparing for the battle while they waited for the wind to change. During and before the battle there were also several crucial developments to help William. Harold Godwineson forced his army to travel so fast that he left many soldiers behind including most of his archers. During the battle Harold was killed by an arrow in the eye. This significantly disheartened the Anglo Saxon soldiers. Harold s death is depicted in the Bayeux Tapestry. William also made many skilled tactical decisions that helped him win the battle. • 32. Did Trojan War Begin Over The Love Of Women Trojan war Laura Gibbons For my historical investigation I am looking to the Trojan War. My main focus question is did the Trojan war really begin over the love of a women. The Trojan War is known as a significant event in Greek mythology. According to Homer the Trojan War was a battle at Troybetween Paris of Troy and the Spartans because Paris stole Helen from her husband Menelaus who was the king Sparta. The battle raged on for 10 years until finally the Spartans were victorious due to the Trojan horse battle strategy causing the fall of Troy. Evidence of this battle comes throughout Homers works of Greek literature lliad and odyssey . But were Homers stories the actual reason of one of history s most talked about wars? Was his story s a recount of a different battle? Was a woman really the reason to start a war over? Did Troy actually exist? Was there more too it, did geographical Location and trade a major issue? ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... Most of the suggestions are holiday themed, since Thanksgiving has just passed, and cranberry sauce is associated with Thanksgiving in America. The structure is simple, looking like something out of a Western cookbook. On the top, there is a depiction of what the cranberrysauce should look like, the amount of time it takes to prepare and cook the sauce, and how many people it serves. Underneath that, there is a sentence exclaiming that the dish is delicious and the last recipe you will ever try. Next, they list the ingredients, and give the instructions. This is easily followed, and simple for this ritualized dish. The techniques in this recipe are extremely simple, requiring only a pot, a heat source, preferably a stove, and a cooling area. Water and sugar are brought to a boil. Once they are boiling, the cranberries are added, and heated until they explode. Then, they are cooled to form a gelatinized dish. Cranberries are native to the northeastern United States, which is why they are important during the Thanksgiving Feast. Thanksgiving is meant to commemorate the first feast between pilgrims and natives (before we killed them all brutally, but that s another story). For this reason, the foods served are supposed to represent what was served during the first Thanksgiving. Since cranberries are native to the region, many believe that they were present during the first Thanksgiving. However, I highly doubt that they were sweetened by sugar, which was brought to this region through trade. It is probable that this tradition came to be through time and legend, since Thanksgiving did not become a national holiday until

  • 38. Margaret Sanger Nursing Model The history of nursing is fundamentally the foundation of nursing today. Historical nursing leaders have paved the way for our nurses in the 21st century by their views, dedication, and achievements. Not only have these leaders paved the way for nursing as a profession, but they have also instilled historical changes in health care and in our society overall. The current definition of nursing today is the protection, promotion, and optimization of health and abilities, prevention of illness and injury, alleviation of suffering through the diagnosis and treatment of human response, advocacy in the care of individuals, families, communities, and populations (ANA, 2010c). A historical nursing leader is one that has carved this definition of nursing through their actions, values, and beliefs. Also, a historical nursing figure is an individual that has influenced and continues to influence societal trends in the nursing profession today by having developed a foundation that still has an impact on us. The focus of nursing practice is care provided to assist individuals, families, communities, and populations (Claros and Dean, 2013), which is exactly what Margaret Sangers focused on in her works. Margaret is the definition of nursing and is an inspirational model and leader to female nurses in addition to females in general through her works thus is the reason we choose her as our focal point for our essay. Margaret Sanger was a nurseworking in New York with immigrant
  • 39. The Reflection Of Living With Jesus Christ In The World While living and serving in a Chiang Mai prison in Thailand, I met with a radical Muslim man named, Ali, who was serving a life sentence in the Thai prison because, he murdered a Thai woman. As growing up in Pakistan, it is very challenging to love those who persecute and hate you. Initially, he didn t want to do anything with Christianity. But after meeting him for at least six months, with difficult conversations, he decided to accept JesusChrist as his personal savior. From that point on, I had to leave all my hard feelings behind and accept him as a part of the body of Christ and take care of him. Honestly, I had to listen him cry and suffer in the Thai prison. But in the midst of all that suffering, I had to stand right beside him, fight for his basic rights in the Thai judicial system, communicate with the Pakistani embassy in Bangkok, Thailand, and wrap my arms around him. Today, we will learn together from the passage 1 Corinthians 12:12 27 in which Paul uses a metaphor of a body to describe diversity and unity in the body of Christ and its functions and how do we need to take care of those who are facing extreme persecution. Slide 2 Using metaphors were and still are pretty common in the Middle Eastern culture to obtain deeper understanding of a phenomenon. In the Old Testament, the term body mostly refers to the physical body. But here Paul uses the term body in a metaphorical way to help its readers to understand the intertwine relationship in the universal

This causes a child to step up and begin to take care of their family, often playing a leading role. Children in this position do feel a sense of obligation to provide in many ways for their families, and many a time this means they must begin to contribute financially.
