2. INTRODUCTION
Creative individuals not only think quite differently, but
also feel and act quite differently. Creativity is a different
way of being and the sparks of creativity present in a child
may result in something immemorable and valuable for
the society or humanity at large. However, we can expect
such results from the so-called creative, only when are
provided with favourable circumstances and opportunities
for the nourishment of their creative talents.

3. MEANING
Creative in its simple literal meaning stands for the ability
or capacity of a child to create or produce something. In
such, every one of us may be said to be a some or the
other things in our life. To say that such creation or
production on one’s part should appear somewhat
different.

new is produced – and idea or an object including a new form
or arrangement of old elements. The new creation must
contribute to the solution of some problems.”

6. Nature and characteristics of creativity
 Creativity is a quite broad generic term.
 Creativity is universal.
 Creativity is also a function of one’s environment.
 Any creative expression is the source of joy and satisfaction for the
creator.

something.
 Creativity is always purposeful and results in
appropriateness.
 The pathway to creativity involves risks, daring and
persistence.
 Creativity is different from intelligence.
