Continuous and Comprehensive Evaluation (CCE) is a school-based assessment system introduced by the Central Board of Secondary Education in India for students from grades six to ten and twelve, focusing on holistic student development. It aims to reduce examination stress by assessing students throughout the year on various aspects beyond academics, including skills and behavior, and emphasizes formative and summative evaluations. CCE promotes continuous feedback and individualized learning but has faced challenges such as increased workload for both students and teachers.

students that covers all aspects of
students’ development.
