Chilaiditi's syndrome is a rare condition where a loop of the transverse colon is located between the liver and diaphragm, causing pain. It is usually asymptomatic but can cause abdominal pain, discomfort, constipation, vomiting, and partial obstruction. Diagnosis is typically made through chest x-rays and CT scans showing the interposed colon. Treatment involves surgery if the patient becomes symptomatic to correct the colon placement.
