Charles de Gaulle was a French general and statesman who played a pivotal role in modern French history. 1. Speaking with purpose:
Hitler was a captivating public speaker. He would enrapture crowds with his vision and sense of purpose of the nation. His words moved a country, even the church to believe that they were killing in the name of God. That was the extent of his charisma. While Hitler was a great orator, and that contributed to his ability to capture his audience, it was his deep belief in what he was doing that moved the nation. He gave his nation a new purpose and destiny and they were willing to follow him for it.
As a leader, the strength of your conviction will often determine how far your followers are willing to go through with it together with you.
2. Understanding Human Nature
Adolf Hitler understood human nature very well. He knew how to use human nature to his personal gain and with that knowledge; he rallied the whole nation behind him. You have to understand the thoughts, inclinations of human nature well if you are to be an effective leader as well. This often means a high level of emotional intelligence. Much of human nature can be easily being seen in yourself; especially in your weakness to temptation or any base inclination. You don’t have to study psychology or take a course in human nature to understand them. Often your life experiences might already give you a good clue as to how people behave and how to motivate people.
3. Constant Influence:
Adolf Hitler successfully used propaganda to bring the whole nation under his influence through the constant use of media and communications; he managed to cause a whole nation to think alike to serve his cause. As the propaganda minister in Nazi Germany, Joseph Goebbels says, “If you repeat a lie often enough, people will believe it, and you will even come to believe it yourself.” (This quote may have been misattributed to him, but the point is there.) There’s a lesson for us leaders to be learnt here. People become what they are constantly being exposed to. If you constantly read, watch and listen to positive messages, you’ll naturally become positive. And it works vice versa as well. We’d like to think that we are thinking independently of our environment, but the truth is that most of us think, act and believe in a certain way as a result of several unconscious cues from our environment. What is the underlying message you portray to your team each day? The words you speak, the actions you take often have either a positive or negative influence on your team.

Napoleon spread French revolutionary ideals as his armies moved, which helped fuel resistance to his rule in conquered lands and allowed the wars to continually restart across Europe.

He implemented collectivization of farms and five-year plans to industrialize the USSR and build up its military through a command economy with total government control. Similarly, Mussolini and his fascists took power in Italy in 1922 and established a totalitarian fascist state through extreme nationalism, military expansionism, and by demanding total obedience to the state apparatus. On December 20th, about 50 students and 8 teachers from the Evening High School of Aigaleo visited the Athens War Museum to learn about Greek history from ancient times to the present. The War Museum was established in 1964 to honor those who fought for Greece's freedom and collects, preserves, and exhibits military artifacts and memorabilia to preserve the national memory and promote the continuity of Hellenism. It operates as a place for research, education, artifact conservation, and periodic exhibitions while presenting Greek history across its four levels of exhibition space from antiquity to today.

Students at the Evening High School of Aigaleo attended a two hour interactive course taught by their ICT teacher on how to use the popular online platform "SlideShare" to create and share presentations, documents, and other knowledge publicly or privately. The course explained best practices for compellingly uploading, sharing, and using SlideShare.
Chronicle
The document lists eight schools from different European countries that participated in a Erasmus+ project on European history from 1945-2015. It provides an introduction to the project, outlining its goals of improving knowledge of European history, promoting critical thinking on EU issues, and developing students' sense of European identity and citizenship. The project activities described include research, debates, lectures, conferences, and study visits. The expectation is that it will offer students new perspectives and skills while helping teachers introduce a more European dimension to their lessons.
Workshop 6
On January 27th, which is International Holocaust Remembrance Day designated by the UN, a workshop was held at the Evening High School of Aigaleo conducted by history teachers Mrs. Pefani Konstantina and Mrs. Boulbasakou Theodora. Students presented on the Holocaust, including photos and videos from their trip to concentration camps Auschwitz and Majdanek, to discuss the worst crime in human history and its consequences in Europe. The UN and its member states have held annual commemoration ceremonies since 2005 to mark the anniversary of the liberation of Auschwitz-Birkenau and honor the victims and survivors of the Holocaust.

On August 25, 1991, Linus Torvalds announced a new operating system kernel called "Linux" and asked for feedback on it. Linux went on to become widely used both for traditional computers and embedded systems like routers. In 1993, Euronews launched as the first pan-European 24-hour news channel to provide a European perspective and counterbalance English-language news channels. In 1994, the Channel Tunnel opened, connecting Britain to the European mainland for the first time since the Ice Age.
Interactive course on
A two hour course was conducted for students on creating word clouds using different online generators like Wordle, Wordmosaic, Tagxedo, and Tagul. The course taught students how to make their own word clouds and was led by the ICT teacher Mr. Harilaos Evangelou at the Evening High School of Aigaleo.

- 3. Charles André Joseph Marie de Gaulle was a French general, resistant, writer, statesman, leader of the Free French during World War II and the architect of the Fifth French Republic
- 5. Refusing to accept his government's armistice with Nazi Germany in 1940, de Gaulle exhorted the French population to resist occupation and continue the fight against Axis powers in his famous speech from BBC on 18 June 1940
- 6. Despite his status and the fact that he had actually fought in World War II, de Gaulle was a difficult ally for Winston Churchill and F. D. Roosevelt
- 8. De Gaulle enjoyed wide support at home and in 1945 became president of France's provisional government. He held this post until his resignation in 1946
- 10. De Gaulle supported the idea of a united Europe, but he wanted Europe to be free from the superpowers' influences
