The European Union is an economic and political union of 28 European countries that provides its 500 million citizens with opportunities for education, work, travel, and cultural exchange. It was established after World War 2 to foster cooperation among European nations and prevent future conflicts. Starting with 6 founding members, it has expanded over the decades and now works together on issues like trade, climate, education, and regional development to improve life for all Europeans. Key EU institutions include the European Commission, Parliament, Council and Court of Justice which work to propose and pass laws and policies for the union.

In Odoo, making a field required can be done through both Python code and XML views. When you set the required attribute to True in Python code, it makes the field required across all views where it's used. Conversely, when you set the required attribute in XML views, it makes the field required only in the context of that particular view.

70 YEARS OF EUROPEAN HISTORY 1945 - 2015
Description of the Project
The “70 Y.E.H” project lasted 2 years and Greece was the coordinating country. A
great number of participants was involved in it through a variety of activities. There were
students, teachers, administrative and educational staff from all partner schools, parents,
members of the Education Offices and Municipal Councils, as well as members of the
academic and the local community.
The project included activities at both local and transnational level, designed to
achieve the objectives and the delivery of the final products. These activities aimed to
strengthen cooperation among partner schools by exchanging of practices and to promote
the development and the implementation of innovative teaching methods.
Local activities included: information research, workshops, debates in classroom,
interactive classes, webinars on the web2.0 tools, lectures, on line conferences,
presentations, informative seminars, study visits to museums /art centers /scientific
laboratories, meetings among members of the local teams, competitions, exhibitions and
dissemination activities.
The transnational activities (a total of six) combined short-term exchange of groups
of students and short-term joint staff training events and included: attending courses,
participating in presentations/debates/ interactive lessons exhibitions/ festivals, carrying
out researches and studies and visiting monuments of historical interest, art galleries,
museums etc.
There were also two transnational meetings (at the beginning of each project year)
among History, English and ICT teachers of the schools’ local teams for coordinating and
management purposes.
Almost all the final products of the project are in both digital and printed form.
Among them there is a collection of work and evaluation sheets, a historical guide, a
vocabulary booklet, an application for mobile phones, albums, timelines, the official
project’s blog and a board game.
We expected that this project would have an impact on students by offering them a
different education prospective, discovering new ways of learning and achieving greater
cognitive development by cultivating most of the "21st century skills" like critical
thinking, research skills, team work, ICT competences etc.

The Timeline
This timeline was created, as a final product, within the scope of the Erasmus+
program titled “70 YEARS OF EUROPEAN HISTORY (1945-2015)”.
It is the result of the team work of the 8 participant secondary schools and it was
produced by the Macka Anadolu Imam Hatip Lisesi.
In the course of two years, for each partner school, the Turkish team created a
digital timeline where the teachers of each local project team added information on the
historic highlights of their countries from 1945 to 2015. Here you can find references, per
year, on the historic events of each partner country together with pictures and videos.

be used as a guide where someone can find information about all major events (historic,
artistic or scientific) which took place all over Europe in the last 70 years. The Spanish

The Board Game
This board game was created, as a final product, within the scope of the Erasmus+
program titled “70 YEARS OF EUROPEAN HISTORY(1945-2015)”.
It is the result of the team work of the 8 participant secondary schools and it was
produced by the Evening High School of Aigaleo.
It is actually a knowledge game where players can test their knowledge on
European history, culture, art, science and technology. A player can move from one
European country to another by throwing the dice and answering questions. Every right
answer gives him the right to continue while a wrong answer … well, he simply loses his
turn!! If he answers correctly while he has landed on one of the eight (8) partner countries
(Czech Republic, Greece, Italy, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Spain and Turkey), he gets
the flag of the country. The first player who will manage to get all the 8 flags is the one
who wins the game.
To create this game we used the questions we have prepared in order to check our
students’ knowledge and we tried to cover equally all the seventy years of the European
history that consist the object of our project. Therefore there are easy and difficult
questions, questions about our national history and more general questions referring to
music, sports, cinema or fashion and generally questions concerning anything that is
considered our common memory and heritage!!
Designed for students over 12 years old, we truly believe that this board game will
be an amusing as well as constructive way for them to learn about the recent European
history, have time well spent with families and friends,
exercise their brains by learning something new and have fun at the same time.

produced by the Liceul Tehnologic ,,Grigore C. Moisil", Buzau.
The blog is like a book which contains a link - chapter for each partner school and
a chapter for all the final products designed within the project.
the chapters intended for the partner countries consist of:
a short presentation of the schools involved in the project;
the activities and materials for the 1st year of the project;
the activities and materials for the 2nd year of the project;
a short presentation of the mobility in each country;
the final products of each country.
All the information posted on the blog consists of images, documents,
questionnaires, Power Point and Prezi Presentations of historic/ scientific/ artistic events
between 1945 – 2015, web 2.0 instruments, videos, posters of the mobilities for each
partner country. All the materials are extremely interesting, their starting point being
the reality discovered by each partner school. They are based on research, teamwork, IT
skills, knowledge of both foreign languages and the history of the European Union.
The increased interest for our project is proved by the high number of views from
both Europe and The United States of America of over 57800 after one year and a half of
project.

70 YEARS OF EUROPEAN HISTORY 1945 - 2015
The Application for Mobile Phones
This application was created, as a final product, within the scope of the Erasmus+
program titled “70 YEARS OF EUROPEAN HISTORY (1945-2015)”.
It is the result of the team work of the 8 participant secondary schools and it was
produced by the Evening High School of Aigaleo.
Believing that the traditional way of teaching history-based on memorizing events,
dates etc - should be enriched with new approaches, we developed this app, aiming at
introduce an innovative teaching tool, to stimulate students’ curiosity and improve their
knowledge.
The eight partner schools have worked together, selecting issues from the history
and the culture of Europe during the last seventy years and creating the material used in
the app.
The Greek school was responsible for developing and delivering this software
application, designed to run on mobile devices such as smart phones and tablet computers
as well as on classic desktops.
We hope that this application will be a useful tool for every teacher who wishes to
use new technology in classroom since it can be used as an entertaining evaluation sheet
and at the same time useful for every student as it personalizes learning by allowing him
to get knowledge outside school, at his own pace.
This product is available only in digital format.
