Assure Assignment: Monday
A- Analyze Learners
3rd
grade social studies class, middle to lower income, in a public school system. Students are
of 75% White, 20% Black, and 5% Hispanic. Approximately 25 students, 15 male, 10 female.
S- State Objectives
Students will become aware of who is responsible for some of their every used items, how they
developed these, and the outcomes of these inventions through PowerPoints, YouTube videos,
web quest, and blogs by the end of the week with 100% accuracy.
S- Select Methods, Media, and Materials
Method: A lot of in group activity, learning this as a collaborative group. This will give the students
a chance to share ideas and thoughts
Media: PowerPoint, Youtube, and Blog
Materials: Computer with Internet access
U- Utilize Methods, Media, and Materials
While working in groups, the students will be allowed to share ideas and thoughts about what is
going on along with the discussion. A computer will be the main tool, and the students will be
able to view the PowerPoints, Youtube video, and the webquest. I would like the students to work
separately when it comes to the webquest so that they will be able to share their personal views
and ideas.
R- Require Learner Participation
Seeing the webquest will be the biggest form of participation. It will allow me to view what
students are viewing what and who is commenting where. After reviewing the comments it will
let me access who understand and who does not.
E- Evaluate and Revise
I will be evaluating the students on their understanding in the webquest. Seeing group
participation and seeing correct thoughts is how I will access their learning progress throughout
the week.

Assure assignment Monday

  • 1. Assure Assignment: Monday A- Analyze Learners 3rd grade social studies class, middle to lower income, in a public school system. Students are of 75% White, 20% Black, and 5% Hispanic. Approximately 25 students, 15 male, 10 female. S- State Objectives Students will become aware of who is responsible for some of their every used items, how they developed these, and the outcomes of these inventions through PowerPoints, YouTube videos, web quest, and blogs by the end of the week with 100% accuracy. S- Select Methods, Media, and Materials Method: A lot of in group activity, learning this as a collaborative group. This will give the students a chance to share ideas and thoughts Media: PowerPoint, Youtube, and Blog Materials: Computer with Internet access U- Utilize Methods, Media, and Materials While working in groups, the students will be allowed to share ideas and thoughts about what is going on along with the discussion. A computer will be the main tool, and the students will be able to view the PowerPoints, Youtube video, and the webquest. I would like the students to work separately when it comes to the webquest so that they will be able to share their personal views and ideas. R- Require Learner Participation Seeing the webquest will be the biggest form of participation. It will allow me to view what students are viewing what and who is commenting where. After reviewing the comments it will let me access who understand and who does not.
  • 2. E- Evaluate and Revise I will be evaluating the students on their understanding in the webquest. Seeing group participation and seeing correct thoughts is how I will access their learning progress throughout the week.
