Tuesday:

Assure Method Model
A: Analyze learners
My class is a seventh grade class – 20 students which include: 20 12-13 year olds (12 girls, 8 boys,

3 African Americans and 3 Hispanics. No students in my class have any learning disabilities or
other impairments.
S: State Objectives

A: Seventh grade class – 20 students which include: 20 12-3 year olds (12 girls, 8 boys, 3
African Americans and 3 Hispanics)
B: The student will be introduced to the main lessons for the week – one Webquest of
their choice and a PowerPoint presentation or movie. They will be able to do these with
the help of the information and resources that I will be providing to them throughout
the week.
C: It will be done by accessing the internet, online research, and and at the end of the
week, students will give presentations which will be presented on a Smartboard,
D: The students will be able to do the weekly assignment and follow the rubric with at
least 80% accuracy (meaning guidelines followed). They will be expected to do today’s
assignment with 100% accuracy.

S: Select methods, media, & material
The students will view and work with my personal Facebook, Twitter, and Blogger page to communicate
with me throughout the week. They will be provided with the WebQuest link as well, since that is their
main project for the week. I will provide them with an example of a PowerPoint presentation in the form
of a YouTube video that they will also have to do.
U: Utilize Media & material
At the beginning of the class, I will pull up my blog link, which will have my Facebook link and Twitter
link, and not only give a description of the assignments, but will allow students to have a reminder while
they’re at home working on their projects. This will allow them to utilize my help outside of the
classroom, and provides a different approach with the visual learners who can keep using this as a
resource for what I will require rather than an oral approach.
R: Require learner participation
All I will require my students to do on Tuesday is log onto my blog. I plan on taking them to a computer
lab and making sure they know how to pull up my blog and make sure they can assess the information
on it with no problems before they continue on with the assignments later on in the week. I will further
introduce the lessons of the week at this point.
E: Evaluate and revise
All I expect my students to do on Tuesday is log onto my personal blog. I will personally check to make
sure each student has logged on after I provide them with the information to do so. I will make sure
100% of students have done so by the end of the day on Tuesday.
