In this paper, we discussed about LTE system throughput calculation for both TDD and FDD system.

UMTS Long Term Evolution, LTE, is the technology of choice for the majority of network operators worldwide for providing mobile
broadband data and high-speed internet access to their subscriber base. Due to the high commitment LTE is the innovation platform
for the wireless industry for the next decade.
This class will provide the basics of this fascinating technology. After attending this course you will have an understanding of
OFDM-principles including SC-FDMA as the transmission scheme of choice for the LTE uplink. Multiple antenna technology (MIMO),
a fundamental part of LTE, will be explained as well as its impact on the design of device and network architecture. We’ll give a quick
introduction into the evolution of this technology including future upgrades of LTE features like multimedia broadcast, location based
services and increasing bandwidth through carrier aggregation.
The second part of the course will provide an overview including practical examples and exercises on how to test a LTE-capable device
while performing standardized RF measurements such as power, signal quality, spectrum and receiver sensitivity. We’ll address how
to automate these measurements in a simple and cost-effective way. We will introduce application based testing by demonstrating
end-to-end (E2E), throughput and application testing using the Rohde & Schwarz R&S®CMW500 Wideband Radio Communication
Tester. Examples of application tests are voice over LTE, VoLTE or Video over LTE.
The new 5G unified air interface is being designed to not only vastly enhance mobile broadband performance and efficiency, but also scale to connect the massive Internet of Things and enable new types of services such as mission critical control that require ultra-low latency and new levels of reliability and security. The new design will unify diverse spectrum types and bands, scale from macro deployments to local hotspots and efficiently multiplex the envisioned 5G services across an extreme variation of requirements.

As the incessant demand for wireless communication grows, off-grid telecommunication base station sites continue to be introduced around the globe. In rural or remote areas, where power from the grid is unavailable or unreliable, these cell sites require generator sets to provide power security as prime power or backup standby power.
Cited in various papers, the global annual electricity consumption for the telecommunication sector has increased from 219 TWh in 2007 to 354 TWh in 2012, which corresponds to an annual growth rate of 10%. This projection of global electricity consumption is expected to escalate at an annual additional rate of 10% between 2013 and 2018. Accordingly, this makes the telecom operator networks the most electrical energy-intensive consumer within the telecommunication networks that is responsible for the amount of greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions it emits into the environment.
The presentation is a state of the art overview on aspects of coupling small windturbines to telecom basestations. Worldwide thousands of base stations provide relaying mobile phone signals. Every off-grid base station has a diesel generator up to 4 kW to provide electricity for the electronic equipment involved.
The presentation gives attention to the requirements on using windenergy as an energy source for powering mobile phone base stations. Requirements as: Sufficient wind speed, Dimensioning the system, cost effectiveness, installing on existing tower structure, maintenance, and remote monitoring and controlling.
An overview of manufacturers and best practices will be given. Also opportunities for mobile network operators to provide electricity beyond the base station and into local communities, “Community Power”.
Attention is also given to radio interaction between Small Wind Turbines and Base Station Antennas.

amount of usage of power at each homes and also the power theft if it occurs anywhere.by this way we
no need to generate any particular infrastructure for transmitting an d receiving instead we can use the
power line itself.This is the work done in NLC,TAMILNADU india which is very less explained in this
