This document provides an overview and comparison of 1G, 2G, 3G, and 4G wireless technologies. 1G networks used analog cellular technology and had poor voice quality. 2G introduced GSM digital standards and offered improved audio. 3G networks supported download speeds up to 2 Mbps and services like video calls and mobile internet. 4G offers speeds of at least 20 Mbps for multimedia services on mobile broadband networks using new technologies like OFDMA and MIMO. Each generation brought higher speeds and new capabilities but also higher implementation costs for network providers.
The internet technology is divided into many stages and one of them is 1G. The topics cover up in this : history, explanation, flaws and future version.

New carrier technique for 5G mobile communicationmohamed naeem
in that slide , i have presented the evolution of mobile technology as an introduction , presenting the mobile generations and it's relation to the radio spectrum, also i have focused on the concept of new carrier types and how it will work in the 5th generation.
Cellular network evolved gradually .Generations of computer network like 1st generation (1g) ,second generation (2g) evolved .Then came 3g ,4g, each time with increased speed and security
5G explanation by sertsedengle shewandagn.
Part 01: Evolution
Part 02: Development
Part 03: Use and Effect
Part 04: Pros and Cons
Part 05: Conclusion
This presentation is prepared for Seminar class towards an MS in computer science at ACT.
Advantages & disadvantages of 3g networkMuhib Zaman
Thus we see here that the disadvantages are more than the advantages of the 3G technologies from the service providers as well as from customer point of view. Also, it will cause to damage the existence of some businesses like cable operator business or 2G services. So, some of these may be kept in mind while we implement the 3G technology.

Research from mobile survey company, On Device Research, which was conducted directly on the mobile internet, has revealed a new internet audience.
More than 50% of Asian and African mobile internet users as well as more than 20% of users in developed markets, such as the UK and US do not use the internet on a PC.
The deck shows the profile of this new generation of internet users and is the first in a series of free quarterly reports.

Presentation on 1G/2G/3G/4G/5G/Cellular & Wireless TechnologiesKaushal Kaith
This Presentation is explaining all about the Generations of Mobile or Cellular Technology (1G/2G/2.5/ 3G/4g/5G). This explain the invented details ,features, drawbacks, look of wireless models and comparison and evolution of technology from 1G to 5G and also explaining about wireless application and their services.
5 G SYSTEMS IS THE FUTURE WILL BE FAST WITH UNIMAGINABLE SPEED AND WITH LOTS OF SERVICES.Though 5G is still in development stage it has lots of promising features that will definitely change our future. For this data hungry and speed loving generation 5G will definitely be the hottest technology and it will certainly make our future really exciting. In this article we will see how the mobile networks have evolved and what will be the future of mobile network and of course about 5G network.
5G is the fifth generation wireless technology for digital cellular networks that began wide deployment in 2019. As with previous standards, the covered areas are divided into regions called "cells", serviced by individual antennas.
The explanation with explicit picture of phone type used during each network generation. We covered 0G, 1G, 1.e or Edge, gprs, 4g, 4g+ and the upcoming 5g. YOu can get get the seminar report after following and liking my page. thank y'all.....
This is work done by MURTADHA ALI NSAIF SHUKUR student at MMU Mullana, Ambala, Haryana, India. With the help my teacher ( Dr.H.P.Sinha HOD (ECE) ) thank for Dr. H.P. sinha and all my teachers for help me. thank you
4. What is network?
A network is a group of two or
more computer systems or mobile
system linked together.
5. What is 1G wireless technology?
1G was introduced in 1980. The main difference
between then existing systems and 1G was invent of
cellular technology and hence it is also known as First
generation of analog cellular telephone. In 1G wireless
technology the network contains many cells (Land
area was divided into small sectors, each sector is
known as cell, a cell is covered by a radio network
with one transceiver) and so same frequency can be
reused many times which results in great spectrum
usage and thus increased the system capacity i.e. large
number of users could be accommodated easily.
6. 1G WIRELESS ADVANTAGE
Using Analog signals
Listen to handset
Frequency typically 150MHz & above
7. Poor voice quality
Poor battery life
Large phone size
No security
Frequent call drops
Limited capacity and poor handoff
reliability.
8. 2G phones using global system for mobile
communications (GSM) were first used in the early
1990 s in Europe. GSM provides voice and limited
data services and uses digital modulation for
improved audio quality. Digital AMPS(Advanced
Mobile Phone System) , CDMA were some of the 2G
systems.

10.
o Phone calls/ Fax
o Voice mail
o Send/Receive e-mail messages
o web browsing
o camera phones
o speed: 64-144 kb/sec
o Time to download a 3 min MP3 song: 6-9 min

-Network
3G is the third generation of mobile
telecommunication.3G networks support
services that provide an information transfer
rate of at least 200 kbit/s. Later 3G releases,
often denoted 3.5G and 3.75G, also
provide mobile broadbandaccess of
several Mbit/s to smartphones and mobile
modems in laptop computers.
12. 3G finds application in wireless
voice telephony,mobile, Internet
access, fixed wireless Internet
access, video calls and mobile
TV.
13. To meet the growing demand in network capacity,
rates required for high speed data transfer and
multimedia applications , 3G standards started evolving.
It is based on the International
Telecommunication Union (ITU) family of standards.
3G technologies enable network operators to offer
users a wider range of more advanced services.
Services include wide-area wireless voice telephony,
video-calls and broadband wireless data , all in a mobile
environment.
The data are sent through the technology called
Packet switching.Voice calls are interpreted
through circuit switching.
14.
15.
16. 3G technology has taken the gaming to the next level.
Real-time multiplayer gaming is possible in 3G system.
Innovative new services are being added by developer daily.
17.
18.
19. Also known as “Mobile Broadband Everywhere”
One of the terms used to describe 4G is:
Mobile Multimedia
Anytime Anywhere
Global mobility Support
Integrated wireless solution and
Customized personal service.
20. Faster and more reliable – 100 Mbps
Lower cost than previous generations.
Multi-standard wireless system
- Bluetooth , Wifi
Coverage of wide area.
Wide Variety of services capability.
Ad Hoc networking
IPv6 core
Potentially IEEE standards 802.11
Only packet switching used unlike previous generations.
OFDMA(Orthogonal Frequency Division Multiple access)
and MIMO(Multiple In Multiple Out) replace CDMA
spread spectrum radio technology.
21. Specifications 3G 4G
Frequency band 1.5- 2.8 GHz 2-8 GHz
Band width 5-20 MHz 5-20 MHz
Data rate upto 2 Mbps 20 Mbps or more
Access wideband CDMA Multi-carrier-CDMA
FEC Turbo codes concatenated codes
Switching Circuit/ Packet Packet
Top speeds 200kmph 200kmph
22. ADVANTAGES OF 4G
High usability: anytime, anywhere and with any
technology.
Support for multimedia services at low transmission cost.
Higher bandwidth , tight network security.
DISADVANTAGES OF 4G
The equipment required to implement a next generation
network is still very expensive.
Carriers and providers have to plan carefully to make sure
that expenses are kept realistic.
